CAR Body Shop in Albany

Excellent service by a gentleman who knows his craft. I am new to the area and someone left a big dent in my car at the parking lot. I went to my car’s dealership body repair shop but the customer adviser on that day was messed up telling me they don’t do that kind of repair. I’m glad I found this C.A.R. Body Shop, the owner was very kind and knowledgeable. He listened to my concerns and reassured me it will and can be fixed. Indeed in less than a few hours it was repaired despite being a walk in customer the job was completed in time and he gave me a descent price. Highly recommend to everyone. Thank you so much Carlos.

So my car was hit when it was park on the driver left front and my headlight was broken I went to this car shop for something else and what I wanted he didn’t do but he said he can fix my headlight and push my finder in so I dropped my car off on Wednesday he told me it’ll be done Saturday but he called me the next day to inform me that it would be done that day witch was Thursday and that I can pick it up Friday morning but Thursday evening he called and said my car was ready by the way I was smiling he knew he had done a great job not only was I impressed my babygirl was too I can honestly say I would recommend him to any looking for body work done on their car great communication from day one.

My family has been going to Carlos for more than forty years. He's honest and he does great work for a good price. Not bad for someone my dad met after he left a flyer under his wiper all those many years ago.

By far, I have had the worst business experience in my life with this shop/guy called Carlos. I took my car to his shop to fix a minor accident that I had after a winter storm, and he told me he would do it for 450$ at a rate of 60$/hr. He took the car in and fixed it. As he was fixing he started adding some additional money to stuff he told me he would do for that 450$. However,I liked the guy at the beginning, so I did not argue with him and I agreed for that additional 110$. When I went to pick the car up, he added an additional 50$ for something I didn’t ask him to do. So I talked to him for about a minute saying that’s not what we agreed on. He started yelling at the top of his lungs and pushing me out of the shop saying “ if you don’t want to pay the full amount then take me to court, and I’ll lock your car in my yard till we solve this in court.. and by the way, for everyday it’s in here you are going to pay storage fees”. I wanted to end it right there and then so I had to pay the full amount with my arm twisted. Such a professional way to handle business don’t you think ?

This is someone who does excellent work for a very fair price
