I was looking around for somebody to do some touch-ups on my car. I had a couple dents there I was not pleased with, they were small but pretty deep into the paint. I took it to several body shops, nobody seemed to want to touch it so I went on Google and started looking around. Boy Im glad I found Colby body and fender works. I took my car over there not knowing the outcome, talked to Clint and he actually took a real interest and concern about my car. Five stars is not a high enough rating for the quality of work that was done on my car. I know its tough paint to match; it was red, had a heavy clear coat on it and the car is old. It could be a show car if I wanted it to be. I am extremely happy with the work and the professionalism. More importantly the final product. The only thing that disappoints me is that is that Clint didnt take my car out for a ride, but Ill be sure to see him this spring. The price was fair. The result is intense. I would recommend them for anyone that has a genuine concern for their car.

This place was absolutely amazing! My car got hit by somebody and my entire mirror came off. They fit me in right away, finished my car the same day it was dropped off and even cleaned my car out and washed it! Will most definitely recommend and come back! Also, the receptionist was so pleasant and such a sweetheart!

I had a step ladder fall on the hood of my car ever so slightly causing scratches to my hood and bumper. Clint at Colby Auto body was highly recommended, I called Clint, we scheduled an appointment for him to look at the damage. From the moment I walked in the door of his establishment until I left I was greeted by friendly professional staff. Clint was able to buff out the scratches with out an issue! I always go to colby body and fender shop. My car got hit 3 times on the bumper. After they do the repairs you couldnt tell my car was messed up. They are my #1 body shop, and great communication. Work well with you, keep you updated and informed on the status of your car.

Deidra Clint Steve and the entire team were absolutely phenomenal. I will never go anywhere else as long as theyre in business. I have a Subaru, (which they are a certified Subaru parts shop) and they fixed my car after I got rear ended. Deidra communicated with me efficiently the entire time and always kept me notified and comfortable with the process. They also went above and beyond and detailed my car and patched up a rust spot from a plow truck that side swiped me a little bit, out of the kindness of their hearts because it was not part of the accident I came to them with initially. 10/10 recommend. My drivers side door was keyed, not real deep, so I hoped to get it repaired with out a respray. The professionals at Colby did a phenomenal job of making the scratch disappear. Absolute thieves, I cracked my tail light and scuffed the bumper, he wanted $1600, 2 other estimates I got were below $600. Unless ur desperate, avoid this place.

I crashed my car back in April and it went to a shop in Hudson. I got it back with a total alignment issue and many other problems that just weren t getting fixed properly by them. My car then went to a VW dealership so they could look at my car and they still couldn t find an issue with it. After months of dealing with this, my insurance company told me to just find a shop that can fix my car. My friend suggested Colby body and it s a great thing he did. After months of driving a car that i didn t feel safe in, my 2018 VW Tiguan finally drives straight down the road. The owner Clint was so friendly and knowledgeable and broke everything down to me that was being done with my car. Him and his team are great and i couldn t be happier with them. Thank you!

About a month ago I bought a 2016 Honda I only had it for 4 weeks I parked my car and went into a restaurant when I came out someone had hit it and taken off. I brought my car to Lia Honda where I bought it they gave me an estimate I was going to have it done there but I saw the reviews for Colby auto and decided to bring it there and I am so very happy I did. I picked up my car today and it was showroom new. Cliff and his staff are tremendous and they go above and beyond to make make sure you are satisfied. The workers were nice and friendly, and the prices are great. I brought my car here this morning and I think they will do a great job with fixing my brake light and rear turn signal.

I am absolutely blown away by the service at Colby. A had a fairly minor dent in my front bumper, took it in for an estimate on a Friday morning. Clint (the owner) immediately came out and introduced himself, took a look at my car. I have never felt more welcome or more comfortable at any type of car-related place. While I didnt have him actually replace my bumper - he did pop the dent out and touch up the paint, all for the cost of a cup of coffee. While I cant personally review Colbys body work, I can say that their customer service is incredible.

I recently got into a car accident and I didnt know what to do. I called Clint at Colby and he helped me from beginning to end. He handled everything from talking to the insurance company to arranging the rental to meet me right at the shop. If you ever need car repairs Colby is the place to go. I came into Colby with busted windshield wipers in the middle of the storm on Friday. They dropped what they were doing to fix my broken wipers and got me back on the road in a few hours. I cant thank them enough!!! Not to mention the price I paid was very fair.. I love Colby and wont be going any where else with my car!!!

Very professional! Excellent work! Made my car look brand new again!! Fixed the scratch, buffed and shined it up. Shine was so good it lasted through a couple rainy days!!! I rented a car from enterprise up the road from Colby s and was worried about how I was gonna pick up my car and take the rental back, no problem at all... Colby took care of that problem for me. I was able to leave the rental with them, pick my car up and go home. I called Enterprise, they cashed me out over the phone and Colby s took care of the rest. I definitely recommend this place!!!

I brought my Honda Civic in was in an accident. I was initially told the job would be about $3,500. When I went back in they told me it would be $9,000. I ended up getting it fixed for $3,350 at another shop

My father was in an accident over the winter which required a new rear bumper for his Subaru. Clint the owner was able to work with my fathers insurance company to install Subaru parts on his car. He was in and out in two days and couldnt be happier. Now unfortunately he was backed into again, and we will be traveling from Poughkeepsie to have Clint fix it once more!

I had hit an object in the road last Tuesday and had damage to my wheel/tire and some paint damage under the door on my 2018 accord . I went here to get the estimate done for my insurance and was planning to have the work done at the dealer I had purchased the car from. After a few minutes taking with the owner I realized how great of a shop I had walked into and considering they are certified Honda and Acura repair shop I decided to have the work done here. Everything was no hassle and my car was detailed inside and out when I picked it up. Do yourself a favor and go see Colby if you need some work done right . There are still businesses out there that take care of you and do it the right way and Colby is a perfect example of that. I will surely go back if I need something taken care of and will gladly recommend.

I decided to try this shop after I hit a deer for the first time. Ive never been in an accident before and I was very cautious about what to do and where to go. The staff here walked me through everything, gave me a thorough explanation whenever I had a question, set me up with a rental car easily, and genuinely cared. The customer service is amazing. They even let me come in on a Saturday morning to get something out of the car while it was being worked on. They made my insurance company write another check for an appropriate part when the first was not a good fit for my vehicle. I will be strongly recommending them to anyone and I will be going back whenever it is needed.

Brought my 2012 truck here for rust in the fender well. I talked with one person they said 800 then said maybe more like 1200 I said ok thats fine. He said well its going to rust again and you should just put fender flares on and just let it rust, You wont see it for a few years. this place is a joke. They only want to do full restorations or insurance work. I would not bring anything here.

Clint quoted me significantly less than another shop, and even came in under budget on his original quote. I really appreciated that since I was paying out of pocket. They explained to me all the repairs in terms I could understand and turned the job around quickly. Even with the short time table, the work they did was pristine, from the body work to the paint down to the detailing. We got the car back cleaner than when we dropped it off, really nice touch. I had alot of work that I needed to get done in a short time, not only did they get it done but they also didnt charge me alot for what needed to be done.

I had some body damage from a car in a parking lot and I went to see Clint on a referral. He was super nice and honest about the work that had to be done. He got an estimate together while I waited and quoted me a very fair price for the work. I went back 2 days later to have the work done, I waited at the shop while the work was being done and had great conversation with Deidra, the office manager, and when it was all done, they had even washed my car for me! From what it was to what it is now is 100% better and I couldnt tell that damage was even done to my car. Id recommend these guys to ANYONE looking to have great, honest, and fast work done. They are so welcoming. The receptionist aways has a smile on and greets you as soon as you walk in. Colby worked on my car two separate times and both times I left very happy. I was so stressed about my car being wrecked and even over the phone they were so helpful. If the receptionist didnt know the answer to my question she didnt hesitate to have one of the mechanics come to the phone. I know nothing about cars and they were all a huge help. They looked up parts with me right on the phone. Gave me helpful suggestions and even stayed late to work on my car. They also provided work transportation so I wouldnt miss work. The experience I had at Colbys was the best out of any mechanic or auto body shop Ive been to. Theyre extremely nice and understanding, even gave me a ride home and offered lunch after my car got towed to their place!

Auto body shops either work for the customers or for the insurance companies. The shops that low ball work for the insurance companies get their referrals, and they become their preferred partners. Think about it, are the insurance companies going to refer you to the places that do best jobs ( most expensive)? Of course not. The quote that I got from Colby was nearly 1/3 of the reimbursement that I got elsewhere. Colby wanted me to pay for half of the accident. LMAO. Wow. It was like dickering with the insurance adjuster at Progressive.
