Two days ago I stopped at Adirondack Tire because my back tire would not keep air. I spoke with Frank & I’m thankful to come across him. I’m originally from Indianapolis, working federal gov & no family here. His staff located the issue. He informed me that I need all new tires & helped me set up a plan to come back in a couple days to repair. I came back today & as planned got the tires replaced. By lunch, my coworker assisted me in returning to get the car. While there, Frank helped us look at her vehicle as well and recommendations. She also is living in NY alone & it is not easy to find trustworthy car shops. I want to sincerely thank Frank & his staff for helping us both out today. Genuine human being & I will recommend anyone to visit this place for business. He saved me money & was very honest about the needs of my car.
They were able to get me in for a same-day flat tire repair, and got it fixed in 15 minutes. Excellent service, will be using them for future needs!
Had 1 rear flat tire to replace. I asked them to replace the 2 rears, for a match. Just wanted to get home; and have time to reassess and be able to shop around. They said no, and only offered to replace all 4. The reason provided ‘if my all wheel drive transmission went bad, that they would have to pay for it to be replaced. The difference between the new vs old tires was too much’. I was buying a matching pair, so the only difference is tread depth. I offered to sign off of this ‘liability’, they said no. I asked, why replace tires with enough tread to last another year or so, he said, yeah, why wait. My response, another year is another year where I don’t have to spend $600. Don’t go here. For those who have gone here for tires and have a bad transmission, go and ask them to pay for a new transmission for you. Apparently, this is something they cover for all their customers, free of charge. I left and went to Mr. Tire. They got me back on the road. Then went back to Mr. Tire again the next day, to put on a set of snow tires, which is my solution until the spring. Mr. Tire was fair, and more technically knowledgeable.
I picked up a HUGE bolt in my tire. I watched the PSI drop as I was trying to figure out what to do. I called my son who said to go to Adirondack Tire and he would meet me there. When i pulled in the PSI was 14 in my tire. They were so Nice to me, we pulled the car in, the tech was very friendly- finished the repair in 10-15 mins and charged a very reasonable price. My son told me he had done business there and was satisfied. I have found my new tire shop!!!! Thank you
Been trying to get tire rotation, and car Inspected for a week now and was just told I have to wait another week. I have a feeling that they are only looking to do work that is actually going to make them money. I keep on being told how busy they are but every time I drive by there is not a single car in the parking lot. My girlfriend was just told her 09 WRX needs to go to the dealership for an alignment because Subaru needs special equipment to be aligned lol. I have never heard something so dumb in my life. We brought it to a place right down the road got it done in an hour.
We stopped here on a driving trip because of a sudden low air warning on the thruway. They were so nice and got my car on a lift right away to look at it. After a thorough exam, they couldn't find anything wrong with it and said they felt comfortable with me driving on it, after they made all 4 tires equal psi. It's been a thousand miles since then and it's still good! Reliable, friendly, and honest - I wish them the best!! And thank you!
To be more precise, I tried to be their customer. No cars in the bay, no cars in the parking lot, 8AM in the morning. And yet, I was told they were too busy to do what ended up being a 20-minute service-with-a-smile fix at their competitor. No big deal - they only lost one customer, who owns, loves and maintains his rather expensive luxury European sedan. I'm sure they have many other such customers. As for me, I'll continue to just drive by to their competitor, and encourage those I know to do the same.
Requested service was an alignment after many new suspension parts. Left vehicle for a day picked it up and new struts were recommended. Current struts which are an assembly are 2 weeks old to the day. But now my steering wheel is crooked. Tested on a straight level surface. (I understand the crown in the rd). Called corporate as I have an upcoming trip and can't wait. Went to another location and they found my car out of alignment. Left and my steering wheel is still crooked. If I straighten it I go off the road. Now I will wait until DMV is open Monday and cancel my plans. Not a safe corporate practice.

Stopped in yesterday to resolve a low tire pressure warning light. I thought I should have the tires checked out before going to the dealer to address the sensor. Frank, the manager, said they could test each tire sensor and quickly diagnosed a faulty sensor on driver s side front tire. Almost as quick, the sensor was replaced and all tires properly inflated. Excellent and speedy service!

This morning while driving in Guilderland in my 2018 Honda Accord a tire pressure indicator light came on. This had me very worried as I had tire issues in the past. We tried to add air at a station we passed but it seemed to be losing air instead of filling. I was taking my husband to an appointment and then was going to head to another tire place that I had recently used in Colonie. As I debated with myself the safest way to get home I looked up and there was Adirondack Tire Center at 1610 Western Ave in Guilderland. I immediately pulled in and hoped they would check on my tire. Eric was kind and friendly and helpful. He listened to my concerns, and said we can help you. They checked out all my tires. The one that was low was filled. They did not find anything wrong with the tire. They gave me the caps that were missing on some of the tires. They cleaned and sealed the rim. They mounted, balanced and reinstalled the tire back on the vehicle. For this they charged me ZERO! I am so grateful to Eric and the team at Adirondack Tire in Guilderland.

I bought four tires today at Adirondack Tire on Western Ave. in Guilderland. After paying for the tires and as I approached my car in the parking lot, while still 10 feet away from my car, I clearly saw missing rim covers from my wheels on the passenger side. I would have noticed the missing rim covers had they been missing before. The tire rims, where the covers were missing, were dirty with dried mud, dried grass and spider webs. Upon returning to the office, the manager asked the mechanic about the rim covers and was told they were missing when he worked on the car. The manager invited me to look in the work area, which I then did. A thin young man said to me, look around, they re not here. I found this a bit surprising as I had not initiated any conversation about anything being missing. Then a heavy set man, who was looking at a computer screen; said, There were no covers on your car on the passenger side. He never looked away from the screen and totally avoided any eye contact. I looked through the work area for the rim covers and then proceeded to the parking lot to look for the rims in the parked cars. While in the lot, the skinny kid who first spoke to me, sped by me in his vehicle, leaving by way of Western Ave, at approximately 3:10 pm. I then proceeded home, a one and a half mile distance. Once home and upon looking at the passenger side tires, the cob webs had been blown away and much of the dried mud and grass had fallen away from the rim. THIS CLEARLY DEMONSTRATES THAT THE TWO RIM COVERS WERE TAKEN OFF AT THE TIRE SHOP AND THEN NOT REPLACED. HAD THE RIM COVERS BEEN MISSING WHEN I ARRIVED AT THE TIRE SHOP, THERE WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN PRISTINELY INTACT SPIDER WEBS AND DRIED MUD PRESENT ON THE RIMS. I certainly will not be doing business with Adirondack tire again.

Ive bought a few sets of tires from Adirondack Tires and usually have nothing but good things to say about them. This situation, not so much. I had a nail in my tire that I bought from Adirondack Tires two years ago. I called and asked about my road hazard warranty that I thought I bought when I purchased the tires. The person on the phone stated that Adirondack doesnt sell road hazard warranties. I needed the tire fixed right away since it was losing air and I needed to run errands on Saturday. When I got home after getting the tire fixed, I checked my receipt from when I purchased the tires and it did have a road hazard warranty on it. I went back on Monday and got my money back for the fix and the person behind the counter said he had worked for Adirondack for many years and never sold a road hazard warranty. I do appreciate them giving me my money back but, I still have questions as to whether or not I was sold a road hazard warranty that they dont sell or they were trying to take advantage and get money for both the warranty and the fix. Do they have a record or a place to keep track of those purchased road hazard warranties. Just be careful and save your receipts.
So far my experiences with this location have been excellent. Front desk is attentive and friendly. No hassle, no bull, and are fairly quick for what needed to be done. Changed over two front tires easily, prices were right and they didnt come back to me saying 30 things were wrong with my car like other places. Theyve won future business from me.

Just had my tires done here and I was a bit worried about getting scratches on the wheel however they changed them without causing any marks! Really nice waiting area as well, this is where Im going to be taking all my vehicles from now on
This team is an absolute gem. I got towed in the night before with two flats, and I figured I would be there till 1:30-2, but they went above and beyond, getting me out early by going to pick the tires up and had me out and running early! Reminds me of back home with the at home part of the family, I couldn t have asked for anything better, they where super professional, I have questions from my customers where is the best place to go around here, and so I ll be recommending this shop for now on to all who ask!
I won t go anywhere else. The store manager, Dan, and his team are simply the best. I have had multiple issues with picking up bolts in a problem tire. Dan always takes good care of me. They are fast, efficient, and friendly. You feel like family there.
They were great! I needed a wheel alignment and a flat tire service, they fixed everything and got it done in great time. I was Safe and sound leaving Adirondack Tire & Service. I will be back to do with business with them! I do suggest making appointments ahead of time, because they can be a busy place!

I usually deal with Dan, who is always very friendly and helpful. I usually can get an appoint within a couple days, and the wait times are minimal. I never feel like I am getting ripped off, they are usually very honest and don t try to upsell me all the time.
It wasnt what I thought it would be, saved $500 going to another place for a diagnosis amd correctly done work.. thats all Im going to say.

If you havent visited in a few years, GIVE THEM A TRY! I had a pretty bad mishap w them some 7 or 8 yes ago. Ill spare the story, hadnt been back since. I found myself in a pretty bad bind today. Daniel at the front desk assured me hed take care of everything. To my absolute relief, he did EXACTLY what he promised. Seems like the old crew of guys are out, new manager & new staff are in. The new crew is rock solid. On par w Grand Premier. Anyone who knows the areas tires shops will attest; that is the highest praise I can offer. This place is top-shelf, best-of-the-best now. Ive been driving Detroit muscle for a long time. Performance tires in the summer & snow tires in the winter. These cars EAT tires. Suffice to say, Ive been to a LOT of tire shops and had a LOT of unbelievable mishaps. Truth is, tires are not easy to do right. Especially if were talking things like offset sizes, low profiles and wide treads, wheel locks, spline keys, etc. These guys can handle it. I cant emphasize enough; Daniel was great; his guys are great. They did a phenomenal job getting me out of a pinch this afternoon. Im so happy I gave them another try! Found a new go-to place for tires today right in my own backyard!

Ordered tires and an alignment. Changed my tires and didnt do my alignment. I asked why he said I didnt schedule it. I said yes I did when I ordered my tires. Well we cant do it today. Called a few days later to reschedule. Got an appt. Went in and they said oh we are sorry the machine isnt plugged in and we dont have the help. I LIVE OVER 50 min AWAY. Never will go back. Not even if I have a flat in there parking lot. So not happy
Adirondack Tire has always been a place where I dont have to worry if Im going to be swindled. Theyve always been honest taking time to show me the things that needed to be fixed and why, letting me know what could wait, and always making sure that Im satisfied with their work.
Came to get a patch for a scew in my tire. Was told they could not help me until Saturday. Youd think they would help out, seeing as I am at a high probability of a blowout.

Came to them to get a new tire to replace my spare. They put on the wrong tire, I came back to tell them it s wrong tire. They said it is correct I then went to my dealership and got confirmed it was wrong tire. I went back to them they told me it is in fact wrong tire and they will replace it and give me a call once they have a tire in there possession I am yet to hear back. In addition the man at the front desk was rude, dismissive and a liar. Do not go to them they are extremely untrustworthy and don t know what they are doing.
Horrible service, had my fiance take the car in for brakes that was fixed no clue wat this Josh person did to one of my tires it went flat the next day. If your a person of color Josh doesnt treat you with respect.
Brought in my 2003 Toyota Corolla because part of my exhaust system broke(resonator). The reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because they were open and honest about the price of the part, how much it would cost to fix, and they didn t charge me for extra work. However, the work that was done was far from adequate. After I got my car back I heard a loud rattling I took it back several times with no fix. Finally when I took it back after the third or fourth time I left it because they told me they needed to re-weld the system. It began rattling again as I drove my car across the country so I couldn t go back for more work. I visited a trusted mechanic back in California who told me that the exhaust system still wasn t wasn t welded at the correct length, was not aligned, and the rattling will continue until the welding gets another revision.
Needed my tires looked at today, the light came on. They were totally busy, yet they were able to take care of it. Very nice about it. I have never had a bad experience there! Everyone there is great! Thanks again!

Service is quick and professional. They do their best to let you know of any issues with your car that you may not be aware of, and they stand by their work. I went in for an alignment and got the car back without it really being aligned. I called and Josh let me know that the technician who was working on it couldnt adjust the passenger tie rod. Ordered it, replaced it, brought it back and they realigned it no extra charge.
These guys are very fast and professional. The guy at the front desk is a little gruff at first, but hes a nice guy and did right by me. I really think Ill continue to go here for future work. My new tires are great, and they did it surprisingly fast.
Three visits for the same problem and its still not fixed. If you need anything more then a tire change go somewhere else.
