The most honest, talented mechanic I've ever been to. Twice he told me not to pay him for something because I could get it under warranty at the dealership for free. Then this week, my 2017 Subaru was rumbling like a beast and I was afraid it was unsafe to drive. He was booked out 10 days but he fit me in next day because he didn't want me driving an unsafe car, then diagnosed a realignment and charged me NOTHING for his time since he didn't have the guy on hand anymore who could do those. Now I'm going to go get that done armed with knowledge and confidence. Literally never going anywhere else if I can help it.

Once Larry’s Auto closed up, I needed a place to go for general repairs for my Honda Pilot. Steve from Larry’s recommended Albany Foreign Auto and it’s a plus that it’s close to my place of business. I was lucky to fine Dan and Albany Foreign Auto Service about a year ago. I had some issues at another Acura repair shop across town. Dan was able to diagnose my problems immediately, and get me back on the road quickly. Since then he's replaced both sets of brakes, and taken care of all my routine services. Back in the mid 2000s, I as a broke college student brought in a 200,000+ mile Nissan Maxima with brake / suspension problems. These guys fixed the problem and charged me a very fair price. I feel as if they put in more hours on the car than they billed me for. I would bring my car in there again if I were still in Albany. Their service was so good, I remember them 10+ years later.
