Central Auto Service Center in Albany

We had an absolutely stellar experience here. Our alternator broke down as we were on a road trip going through Albany, and we had to have our car towed to this shop. When we arrived the following morning, we fully expected to be there all day. Instead, we were greeted by the kindest staff who began working on it first thing. Within an hour and a half (including time to order parts), they had us out the door. Our car is working perfectly again and we are very grateful. We highly recommend Central Auto Service Center!

Horrible service I sat there over an hour and watch them take every Arab that came in and refuse to service me and another black lady that was there waiting then once I got to talk to someone they tried to charge over 1000$ for a 400$ fix smh the owner canons be trusted and it’s sad these people will try to rob you if you don’t know cars Update they actually had the guy who sold me my car call me yet I couldn’t get help from any of them before but they call to tell about my review smh I have kids I have to take to school everyday I don’t do anything with my car except work and school for my kids now I must drive dangerous until I find another shop to do the work ….. The fact they don’t even know my car was looked at the day before and put on a lift is exactly what I mean I literally told the guy that and he said the guys are not here yet but choose to lie so I can look like the bad person is insane to me smh I really thought these was nice people so I’m shocked and the black male worker and Spanish male worker was really nice guys tbh i Perry they get there own shop cause really it was the owner in the picture who treated me as if I was the second class citizen who didn’t matter then kicked me out the shop as the dark skin gentlemen said I’m sorry we will put it on the lift the manager told me no she can leave my shop and go else where he rather lie in his response then fix the issue I find that even worst form a business perspective he obviously didn’t even listen to anything I told him at the shop or over the phone cause I told him my car was checked there the day before I was only to come get it fixed but again he did not listen because I was not one of his people or family I’ve experienced this before and it’s horrible Going to add new pictures out when they checked my car and remember he said I never came there for a check up and this is what happens when you lie and forget people might have proof

Car needed an oil change, their head mechanic tells me a brake rotor and 2 pads are shot. I take my subie to Goldstein, they say they're in perfect shape, even the measurements look brand new. Mans is a liar and a thief, he wanted $400+ to "fix" my parts.

I’m new to the area so this was my first time at a local mechanic. It was by far one of the best mechanic experiences I’ve had! I just went to get my tire checked and he didn’t even charge me…he’s a great guy. I will certainly be coming here for future car needs and highly recommend!

I was referred to this garage by one of the owner's former instructor's at the ABK Vocational Center and I couldn't be happier. The owner was very professional and easy to deal with and he got the work done well ahead of the scheduled time frame he gave me. His pricing was very reasonable and the work appears to have been expertly done. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing reliable car repairs.
