I started going here in 2019 when I moved into the area from Montgomery County. My father had recommended them as he had used them for years. In the 5 years since they have been nothing but amazing, and would highly recommend them to anyone in the area.
Repair shop is located close to my son’s college. Stopped in without an appointment. The owner took his car right in He took it for a ride, diagnosed it and a quick fix did not even want to charge us.
Everett auto got us in the same day, was honest and helpful, and sent us on our way with the diagnosis. We took our other vehicle there for a brake noise which they fixed simply and didn't charge for. I will definitely be back.
So glad I stumbled upon this auto repair shop. I was travelling through NY State back to Canada and my car blew a tire on the highway. I called Everett Auto Repair and Amber and Josh did their best to fit me in to have my car looked at the next day. It was incredibly kind of Josh to take a look. They kept me updated on what the issue was and let me know that they would do their best to get a new tire on the same day. Great honest service! It was a very reasonable price for the tire and labor. I really appreciated the work they did. If I ever needed a car repair while traveling in the area again, I would stop here.
Excellent! I've been going to Everett Auto for years since John owned it. Brent one of his mechanics took over. He is honest, super knowledgeable, reasonably priced, and extremely hard working. His wife is personable and friendly always a pleasure to talk with. Josh his mechanic does a fantastic job as well. Highly recommend this business 😊😊👍👍👍🚗🚙🛻

My grandfather always told me to take my car here. My mom has been going and they have done beautiful work. Never do work that doesn t need to be done and they don t mess around. They will not overcharge and take advantage unlike the dealerships and do unnecessary work! John worked on our cars and is now retired. Everyone is friendly and helpful! Great mechanics!

stopped in late friday afternoon with a window issue, wouldnt go up & weekend was coming. one of the mechanics pulled off job he was working on, spent 1/2-hr fixing my window problem. how many shops would do that these days ? + knew exactly what was wrong & how to fix. exceptional experience !

Why,because when they fix it,its fixed correctly, 1st time everytime ,Ive never been back to get the same repair fixed over again. I think we all know about stuff like that or fixing something that isnt broke. We all go there for 1 reason they fix it right the 1st time

Everett auto is a honest, professional and reasonable shop. Not many of those left around. They wont bs you around trying to make money off of you. They know their stuff. I would not go bring my cars anywhere else. Highly recommend!!
I needed a NYS car inspection and it was last minute last day. They were extremely friendly and able to fit me in. I didn t know I had a brake light out and they helped me fix it. Very friendly and patient mechanics there

Too bad I HAD to give this crook 1 star, he deserves 0 stars. He sold me a Bait and switch transmission. I had put a paint mark on my broken tranny, and he just put the same one back in, I could see the same yellow paint mark. I would sue him for the 1,000 bucks Im out, but havent the time. Avoid this guy, John. He drinks too much. He also takes cash, just so he can avoid taxes. STRAIGHT UP THIEF ! There is a reason there is NO SIGN outside....hes a Fly by Night hack. Avoid at all cost.
My family has been going to John at Everett Auto for years. He is a very honest with fair prices and is quite accommodating to get you in and out quickly when needed. He also is good about communicating with you about what is going on with your vehicle and the time of repair.
Great guys, old school values and customer service. I went there in an emergency because I was having an oil leak after I had an oil change at a local shop and they dropped everything and put my car on a lift and figured out the gasket they installed was to small. They saved my butt and got me to work on time that day.
My son was in Albany and his car broke down on the side of the highway. Keilens Body shop helped him off of the highway held his car for a few days and took him to a near by friends dorm. I dont know how he would have managed without them. They go the extra mile to help. They even recommend John at Everetts Auto shop as a great and far priced auto repair shop. Again Everett Auto an excellent shop. They repaired my sons car and I was very satisfied with the price and work. Both Keilens and Everett shops are very nice and professional. I would recommend both highly!!!!!!

John, Brent and Dell are three of the Capital Districts best mechanics bar none. Ive been taking all my cars there since they opened in the mid-1980s. Theyve always had the better price and have been spot-on with diagnosing the issues with my cars. Theyre fast, reasonable and always treat you with respect.
John was introduced to me by my Father in law whos been using him since he opened. He told me hes the most honest mechanic youll find. So in short Ive been using him since and I can say the entire crew is great. Sometimes hes to busy but theirs a good reason for that..

I had a bad experience I was told by John the owner he changed my oil and my engine is broke now. and then I drive like I would when I change my oil at Valvoline or or any other establishment I have not had a problem for any car engine I have changed my oil at many different establishments and I did not have my light turned on the next 2nd days so he must have added oil from the top of the engine that is only why in a couple of days my light went on. My engine and car is gone after I just got my car all set. I should have known because you pass peoples inspections no matter what wrong with the car as I heard when I got referred to you. I believe in Karma.what i see is He only takes care of people that have money or he just thought he can get away with it.
