Dropped vehicle off for service. Greeted professionally by service team. Loaner vehicle was provided with no hassle. Received various updates by service advisor (Chance) while vehicle was at dealer. Of course there were some delays in getting parts. When completed I received a call and picked up with no issues. In a world where service seems to be lacking The team at Depaula Ford / Chance made the t feel like old days.
I visited DePaula Ford for the first time this past Monday, September 30th. The service was GREAT! Lenny was my service advisor and was extremely helpful...even made nearby dining recommendations while I waited for my vehicle. I also received a video inspection, which was a first ever anywhere! That's a really cool feature of the service experience. I will definitely be returning as long as I live in Albany.

Another great experience with the team at Depaula. Went in for a routine inspection and the team found an issue with previous work they did. Everything was covered by warranty and the vehicle was repaired the next day.
I really think DePaula is the best Ford dealership in the Albany, NY area. I was planning to buy a F-150 at another dealership, but I decided to visit them and was really impressed with how Jason Rivers and Qasim Dawood helped me find the best pickup truck for my budget, with the best financial plan to make my dreams come true and walk out with a new car. I couldn't find the same attitude at the other dealership.
Dropped wife's Ford Edge off routine oil change at 730am. Got a call later in the morning stating car was done. I dropped my wife off to get her car and I headed back to work. While on her ride home she called me and said car was making a terrible noise on the underside of her car but it was intermittent. She could not stop on side of the road as traffic was heavy and she was scared to stop by herself. All gauges were normal. She got the car to my parents house and I arrived to find that the metal plate that protects the undercarriage was missing two bolts and was dragging along the ground. I contacted the Service group and they told me to bring it back. I had to gerry rig up some bungee chords to keep the plate from contacting the ground. Got it to dealer and they fixed the issue and offered a free oil change next time in for service. Disappointed that something so simple was missed. I am sure steps were not followed which makes you question what other things could be missed during routine service. This was a potential safety risk as the metal plate was facing the front of the car and could have really damaged our vehicle or maybe harmed someone if it ripped completely off during drive home. Luis in service was very helpful and apologetic. Just a really bad experience for what should have been a routine oil change. Whole day was wasted running back and forth to dealer. So much for getting there for 730am early start…….
Had an issue with the clutch pedal assembly on my performance package mustang GT, they found the weld to the clutch had broken and was causing the pedal to bind, possibly leaving me stranded, were quick at getting car diagnosed and ordered the part on Monday got her back by Friday #15BLACKMAMBA

Was very disgusted how bad that depaula Ford wanted to price gouge and try to do things that were not necessary with with vehicle....was quoted $760 for replacement of 2 batteries which I understand batteries are a cost of roughly $200 a piece....that being said roughly $300 to change them out which took myself 20 minutes tops to do the job and required 1 tool to do the job....then they tell me it cost so much because the truck would not function until it was hooked to a computer to reset everything....funny I changed our the batteries and no problems....very said that a dealer would try and gouge a customer like this....I guess to bad for them I have a brain and can do a job myself....not getting business from me again....good luck depaula Ford

I would like to extend a huge thank you to the service department at DePaula Ford Albany, especially the service manager Lenny. Unfortunately my 2023 Bronco Sport had some battery issues. I was unable to get an appointment at the dealer I purchased the vehicle at and made one at DePaula. That morning the car wouldnt start and I had to have it towed to Depaula. Within an hour Lenny called me to assess the situation. Although they were probably busy before a big holiday travel week, Lenny called back to offer me my oil change and tire rotation service, and take care of an open recall. I was floored but of course took him up on it!! Then within a couple of hours I get a call that the vehicle is ready and I have a new battery! Just incredible service I have not had at other dealerships on the same street as DePaula. At pick up the entire staff from Lenny to the cashier were warm and friendly. I only regret that I did not purchase the vehicle from DePaula originally. Thank you again.

I ve been a Ford owner for the last 33 years. Now I lease. I had to bring my car in because it broke down. I m 78 years old and I was told when I lease a car I would if something went wrong that wasn t my fault i.e. the engine, etc. that I would get loaner car. Luckily, I didn t have to leave my car, but had I had to,They told me they had no loaners. They only have 15 loaner cars and they were all out being used and would be for a while. That is totally unacceptable and very poor customer service so much so that when I lease again, I might check another dealership to find out if they can guarantee me loaner car. I m on a fixed income and I can t afford to pay for Rent-A-Car. There was a time when they didn t have a car my Ford dealership rented a car for me, I was told they don t do that anymore. For the amount of money we pay for these automobiles (whether buying or leasing) and then they break down through no fault of our own and I can t get what I was promised. it makes me feel that once you buy or Lisa car after that they just don t care. As I said, this is totally unacceptable. I will however, say the service department did a good job. Thanks for taking the time to read this if you have I don t expect anything to change. seems like it seems like all business owners only care about making money for them.

No one likes to return to the Dealers Service Department because their car runs noisier now than when it was brought in. In much less time than expected, the problem was solved - in replacing the battery, its cover had not been properly fastened. This issue should never have happened, but it did, and was quickly addressed and resolved.

Minimum of 6 calls over a months time to service manager Justin and still to this day never received a single call back. The only good experience I had was with a tech named Chance, he always seemed willing to help. Repair to rear quarter windows on my Mustang convertible which stopped closing fully. Repair was done in a timely manner for the quoted price. Chance, the service desk technician, was great to work with. Compare this to 4 failed attempts to bring this to Wally Ford in East Greenbush, where I bought the car. 4 times during business hours where my call to service to make an appointment was routed to voicemail - or to a voice mailbox that was full and not even recording messages. I gave up on them.

I was at the dealership recently for a routine service visit. Lenny Farnum, the service technician, explained that the lug nuts on my 2016 Edge should be replaced, and explained why in detail (salt/water etc. buildup over the last 6+ years was degrading the lug nuts) I was able to purchase the appropriate lug nuts at Amazon at a very affordable price, and had them installed at the dealership yesterday. Returning a call to make appt as the part was in, was passed to 5 people before an appt could be made. When van done took van to an appt. The next day I cleaned out lunch stuff left by whomever was working on gearshift along with all the old pieces. My wife was angry that I didn t drive it all back to you. She sent a response to a survey. She has received this request again.

Went in for transmission issues at 20k 2020 vehicle waited 2 weeks for appointment gave them the tsb for the problem they ordered a valve body was told everyday they can t do it yet that they have no one to work on it for a entire month my car sat on the lot till I took it and called the manager and informed him that they have my valve body and it s been a month he got me in 1 week later they installed the valve body the transmission improved shifting but is still having issues was told just drive it 1000 miles it might be the software brought it to a transmission shop and the torq converter is slipping and needs to be replaced. I m at a loss when this should have been handled by ford themselves with my powertrain warranty

Overall it appears the work done resolved my issues. Chance, who I dealt with at the desk, was very nice. The main reason for my score is because I had a 7am appt on Friday 12/22. I dropped my car off the previous day (Thursday). I called on Friday around 4pm to see what the progress was. I was told they d call me back. I got a call at around 4:30. I was told they had gotten backed up and didn t get to my car. I asked if it would be done the next day. I was told the technician would not be in on Saturday. I was stuck with either leaving my car there (for 4 additional days, including Christmas) or pick it back up and drop it again the following week. As we live about an hour away, this was a large inconvenience. Even if the testing for the car s issue was a long process (as I was told), they should have planned for that. This was very frustrating.

My issue isnt with him. Its with the ford company. They put out from 2012 to 2015 ford focus and fiesta with faulty transmissions . Theyve been in and out of court for years on this issue. DePaula Ford did a great job (under difficult circumstances) in handling the door lock recall for my Ford Fiesta. All four door handles were replaced. Unfortunately, some additional (unanticipated) replacement parts were required inside the door(s), but they werent on hand during the servicing, so my car remained at the dealership for over a week (while waiting for those other parts to arrive). Despite those challenges Lenny in the DePaula Ford service department set me up with a nice courtesy car (a Ford Escape). My own vehicle may have been unavailable for a while, but the courtesy vehicle eliminated the temporary inconvenience. Alls well that ends well. Thanks Lenny!!! And Thanks DePaula!!!
