I ve been dealing with Steven Smith for a long time when I get my car serviced. He explains what the service is needed, how long it will take and roughly the cost . Steven Smith is the best !

My first service at Lia Honda went well. Nathan Wood was attentive and explained everything that was going to be done. Although it took longer than anticipated, I am pleased with Lia Honda and the excellent service I have received over the years.

I bought my Honda cr-v 2025 model vehicle from here. After 5 months, I noticed that there was a problem with the steering wheel and I made an appointment at Lia Honda. After checking my service car, they said there was no problem with this car. A week later, I had the same problem again so I took it back and they said the same thing. I went to another Honda service to solve the problem and after the check they did there, they said that there was a steering wheel fault in my vehicle for 4 thousand dollars. I think Lia Honda is waiting for the warranty of my vehicle to expire. My name is Cekdar Saklica

We moved here a year ago with two newish Honda hybrids and needed a place to get regular service. We found Lia Honda on the first try. They are honest about what is needed and what is not and its super easy to get an appointment at a time that suits our needs. We plan on continuing to service our cars there.

Had a recall for gas pump and made an appointment with Wes Harrington. Very professional and glad he helped me with my appointment

the man who did my intake for my cars service was gary. this man, if you could call him that, had the most unpleasant, rude, and demeaning attitude with me the entire time he took my information. it was like i was an inconvenience to him for asking that my car be able to actually use my windshield wipers. he not only said, to my face, that it was my fault that their cars poor design caused it to break but then tried to use me as a prop to be made fun of with his other coworkers, again all in front of me. thankfully whoever he called over corrected him quickly which lead to me receiving even more attitude from this arrogant man. once he had collected my information he told me it might be a while and to wait in their reception area. after almost 3 hours of waiting and the service center closing in 45 minutes i goto their desk to see what the remaining time for my repair might be. come to find out after talking to 3 separate managers/supervisors about why i was there, they hadnt even begun working on my car because the service tech hadnt had the necessary part to begin. well this tech hadnt told gary and without doing any checking in with them or i, decided that his day was done and left while i stayed in their waiting area. after another 20 minutes of them not being able to find my car i was finally returned my keys and told why this happened. when i began to detail my frustration with the whole situation to the man who brought me my keys he then started to verbally berate me as though i was in the wrong for being upset, having my time wasted, and not a single thing done to my car to fix it. this man then slams my keys in my hand and storms off like a child who was told they cant have ice cream for dessert. all of this culminating in them saying that gary would call me first thing the very next day about when this part would be ordered and when i could come in to finally receive my repair. it is now late the following day and i havnt heard a single word from gary or this dealership about my repair, any part being ordered, or even so much as an apology for essentially stealing away my time on my only day off for them to not even look at my car. if i could say only one thing to the two men who treated me as lower than the dirt on their shoes for even having the audacity to come in it would be this: i pity the sad existences that you two troglodytes live if this is how you choose to act toward someone who asks for your assistance.

Had a very courteous, professional and timely service by, and through, Ernie Walton. He kept me apprised of the progress of the service. I always make my appointment through Ernie and Im very satisfied with the help he provides.

Alyx Gonch was my service advisor for my new cars first maintenance and I was in and out before I knew it, despite it being fairly busy. I didnt have anything to discuss, but I noticed she was very knowledgeable and friendly with other people who were also there for service.

I have worked with service coordinator, Stephen Smith, for the last 2 years. He is great! He is always in a pleasant mood, willing to help and remembers you, your vehicle and the maintenance.

All I needed was to be shown how to open the fob to change battery. Lia staff invited me to just walk in at my convenience, and they changed it for me, taught me how to do myself next time, and all staff were fantastic!

-First salesperson did not follow up -Second sales person left employment and no one got back to me -Agreed on a trade-in and inclusion of three oil changes with the sale -On May 28, dashboard lights came on, told to drop off the car, and wrongly offered a loaner vehicle -Told the sensors just need resetting -Informed of a recall that could cause stalling and told I d receive a letter in September -Have not received a letter regarding recall -Arrived for maintenance but was told it was too early for maintenance work, despite receiving a notice from Lia Learned the vehicle s certification had been voided -Bret apologized for not documenting the promised three oil changes and offered two now, which didn t match the original agreement 10/19/2024 sent an email to the contact us on the Lia page, as of 11/7 I have not heard back from them

I had to bring my 2011 Honda Accord to a Honda dealer because of engine issues. I picked Lia Honda because of the convenient location on Central Ave. I really didn t know what to expect as I had never been there. Everyone I spoke to on the phone the following day was so professional and polite. The person I spoke to the most was Jodi-Lynn Vannie, and she was amazing! Jodi kept me in the loop the whole time and let me know what was going on with my car. The job ended up being expensive, but there was no pressure from Jodi when I needed time to think how I was going to afford it. I would definitely return to Lia Honda for future service.

Everything was fine with the service, but the invoice has an incorrect mileage notated. They are making a notation, but they cant change the mileage recorded on the invoice.

Dylan Logan quickly took my information and kept me updated with the progress of the work. He cleared up a question I had about service for my CRV.

I scheduled an oil change for 4:40 pm but arrived an hour early. Dylan Logan got right to me and checked me in. I requested the cabin filter be changed and he said they would check it and change it if needed. I was kept inform throughout my wait by texts and videos. Turns out I didn t need the cabin filter changed and I was out of there before my original appointment time. Thank you!!

My service advisor Joe Wiley did another great job with getting my wifes car in for the annual NYS inspection. We arrived at the dealership at 7 AM to drop off the car, and was asked what time we need it back by. We told him that we were like to try to get it back by lunch so my wife could pick it up on her lunch break at work. We got a call at 7:45 AM stating the inspection was completed and there were no issues. He did a great job with getting it in the schedule to get it completed by lunch time. Joe has always done a great job scheduling and completing the appointment in the time frame requested. Thank you Mike

I recently had some major work done on my brakes, calipers, and ball joints and Lia did an excellent job. A few days after the work was done, I heard an odd sound under my car, and fearing something was wrong, I drove right to Lia since I was in the area. Steve Smith, my usual Service Advisor, immediately got my car in to be checked. Thankfully, there was nothing wrong! I cant say how much I appreciated the concern for my safety, and the immediate attention. Steve Smith always shows this level of care and concern, as does John Kelty, the Service Manager. I have always received consistent excellent care at Lia Honda, Albany. I cant say enough good things! I have been a customer since 2016.

I will never return to Lia Honda. Mohommad was rude in every interaction, never called me back 4-5 hours after I dropped my car off for an inspection and oil change. He didn t even know what car I was asking about on the phone- he listed off a white accord when that is not even close to what I drive. When he finally said my car was ready (5 hours later) it took another 45 min for him to get the paper work together which he then refused to go over with me and had the service manager do instead. Who was equally rude, dismissive, and walked away from our conversation leaving me with nothing but false information. I have never gotten my car serviced anywhere else but I won t ever come back now.

I was due for several general maintenance items besides tire rotation and oil change and Louis Salin took care of me.

I made an appointment online and waited. I was totally disappointed they advertised their Honda Service as Honda Repair and Service Shop. My car s windshield was broken & my passenger side has a small dent and the service advisor who assessed my car turned me down told me to go to a body shop who can replaced my windshield and they can t do anything with my dent issue. This place is a total disappointment first time among all the Honda Service Centers they don t offer such service. Don t go to this place follow the advice of their service adviser to go somewhere search for body shop. You wouldn t believe it the guy from the auto glass shop on the other side of town was calling the same Lia Honda Service and parts to order the windshield I needed.

People here are very disrespectful. They dont do their job well.

I came in to have my rear brakes replaced. Turned out I didnt need them replaced. They were cleaned-up and reassembled, and my tires were rotated free of charge. The service was a basic 5000-mile checkup which included oil and filter change as well as tire rotation and general check of all fluids. An annual inspection was also completed. I always take my car to Lia Honda to be serviced. Ernie, the Service Rep was great. He was friendly and made me laugh. He let me know what was being done to my car. As always Lia Honda Service is always a pleasant place to visit.

Brought car in to check for possible brake issue with noise heard when going in reverse while appling brakes. Brakes checked out ok and the sevice advisor, Kyle Garcelon, said the noise I was hearing likely came from moisture on the brake rotors. Also advised that upon multi point inspection that cabin air filter was dirty and needed replacement and it was likely time for a wheel alignment. Before service was completed, he was able to apply the coupons I found to reduce the cost of the service work for which I was very grateful. I only had to wait a short time before service was completed.

When you book a service Apointment all they tell you is that theyre backed up and that its going to take a day or two for your car. Might as well leave it here with out them giving you a loaner car or any transport solution.

Zero stars for Lia service department. Scheduling an appoinment in advance means nothing to the personnel at LIA. I was sceduled for a 1 pm appointment today and was told when I arrived that many of the service folks were on vacation and I couldnt be seen today. This is not the first time that this has happened. Had an issue going back to early summer with the AC on my 2016 Civic. It made a funny sound when it was on. Another local dealer said there was nothing wrong. At Lia the problem was diagnosed as a bad compressor. The compressor along with the AC line was replaced, under warranty, and the problem was resolved. Glad I got a second opinion. Now the AC is running like new. Many thanks to Joe, the service advisor, for pursuing the issue. Thank You!

I recently had a service appointment at Lia Honda to get some new winter tires. I had inquired about the tires from the Parts department and was told that 4 tires were in stock and would be there for my appointment the following week. 2 days before my appointment I called to confirm that there were 4 tires still in stock for my appointment since I don t live close to the dealership. I was told only 2 were in stock, but that they would order 2 more and that they should be here for my appointment. On my appointment date, I was greeted by Wes Harrington. He had confirmed with the parts department right in front of me that all 4 tires were here. Wes had told me that my appointment would be a little lengthy, but that they would get me in and out and quick as they could. My appointment was quoted for approximately 3 hours. Their waiting area was great! They had very comfortable chairs, and they even had individual desks with chairs and charging ports which I greatly appreciated. My service was complete and I was leaving the dealership within 2 hours of arriving! Wes made sure to go over my multi-point inspection with me, and confirmed that everything went smoothly with my new tires install, and that my vehicle was in great shape. Wes was polite, informative, and very nice to work with. I was very pleased with my service visit to Lia Honda and look forward to continuing my business with Wes! Ive always had excellent service at Lia Honda but my last experience was above and beyond due to the outstanding efforts of Dylan Logan, who went much more than an extra mile first patiently trying to find the source of an elusive leak under the floor of my 2017 HR-V and then working hard to ensure that my warranty covered as much of the expense as possible. In the end the leak got fixed and I saved a lot of $$ -who could ask for a better outcome from a potentially frustrating and time-consuming service issue? Without a doubt this is the best service Ive ever enjoyed as a longtime vehicle owner and thats entirely to Dylans credit.

Lia Honda is the best! I had an issue about 4 years ago and my extended warranty at the time should have covered it. The extended warranty company was trying everything to get out of paying for the service. Lia Honda and Joe Callabrucci supported me through the whole ordeal, providing the company documentation, etc, until the problem was resolved. I got to know Joe and the rest of the service team pretty well through that ordeal and we still laugh about it. But most importantly Joe and the rest of the service team treats me like family when I drive into that bay. I will be looking for a new car in the next few years and I dont think that I could possibly buy a car that isnt from Lia Honda...I dont want my cars to be taken care of by anyone else!

Always an easy time at Lia Honda. Wes Harrington guided me through what the truck needed for the scheduled visit and all went well. I left with a clean truck that runs great. The waiting room is comfortable and having the coffee and delicious donuts is a treat.
