Fantastic little shop really helped me out in a pinch. Easygoing, knowledgeable staff who shoot straight and get the job done. Thomas in particular was a joy to work with, and kept me reassured every step of the way. Definitely would return for future needs. Also, lets call out the fact that it was Thomas who spotted that my front main seal leaking oil on a car that CarBravo Chevy Techs had given a clean bill of health a week earlier when I bought it. Without him, I might not have gotten a warranty repair serviced so quickly, though Mohawk Chevy was very good about it. Thanks, Thomas. Bring these guys your car!

The guy Mike is awesome took my daughters car for oil change he went through the whole underneath and spotted things that needed attention very thorough highly recommend this place all the fellas went above and beyond to make sure my car got inspected review done on 3/15/25 thank you guys

Id give them 0 if I could so sad that whoever came in after Bob has ruined his reputation and name after doing business here for 15 years Ill never recommend them for a family or a friend my learning disabled and mental uncle went in to get a simple switch changed and the scumbags working here tried to take advantage of him seeing he was noticeably mental for 900 dollars to replace a 20 dollar switch that takes less then a hour

Very unprofessional , I stopped my car for wiring issues for first time charged me $600 , next day again I stopped my for same issues but after 3 weeks finally they said go to dealer for reprogramming for transmission modules and total $860 , they guys name Thomas and Mike. Update to my review from several months ago (below). Matt and his crew continue to be responsive, quick, professional, reasonable, and good! Very responsive, friendly, professional. After two other businesses said they couldnt do the job, these guys did it without a second thought. I have an old truck, and a full replacement would have cost a lot more than I would have wanted to spend on it. Knowing that might be the case, they presented me with a much cheaper repair option as well. They were a pleasure to work with.

When we couldnt afford to have all 3 items fixed, they recommended the two most important items that needed to be fixed - and they were not the most expensive items on the list. Ive brought multiple vehicles and referred multiple people to Meineke. Never had any issues with the diagnosis, repairs, pricing, or timeliness of the repairs. I went for my car Air conditioner cooling issue, the guy said at first, will do check and fill refrigerant then it should be good, later he comes back and told me, compressor is bad, and charged me 249 dollars for just some random check.. I paid them for no result. He was telling me the technical things, even I told him before that blower fan and blah blah works, the only issue is no cooling. They just looted me. Not at all satisfied by the service.

They did good work but charged me $45 dollars to install wipers, on top of the material cost. I usually just do that myself but figured since I was getting tires they could just throw them on. Lesson learned I ll find a new place to take my car.

First time visit - I brought my car in yesterday morning out of concern for a grinding sound coming from my car the night before. Their service was quick, courteous and the mechanic was very friendly and easy to talk to. As someone who gets anxious about these things, I felt comfortable, and the rundown on my old car was informative and by no means pushy. All was well, no emergency issues, and I decided to get an oil change while I was in and left a happy customer.

The guys were really good. Showed me what was wrong fixed the car. And even called back to answer a question they next day.

This place is awesome. I had a problem with a wobbling tire that I couldnt figure out. They figured it out quickly and corrected it for a very fair price. I will be returning to this location for future issues, maintenance and repairs. Update: I havent been back to my old usual garage since. Ive had a few more visits since the first review below and Bob Rossini continues to impress with customer service, efficiency of service and cost. My car is getting up there in years and many mightve traded in for a newer model but this vehicle has sentimental value and hes always kept it in great working order. If youre looking an authentic good recommendation reading reviews, consider this what youve been looking for. Very courteous staff. I had an emergency noise and issue and they got me in pretty quick. It was exactly as Id expected given the sound. They gave a very fair price on both parts and labor. Im generally one to keep loyalties to wherever I go for services and arrived there today since my usual shop was closed. Gotta, giving them a run for the money. I do recommend them. He even gave me good recommendations for unrelated services they dont do there.

My muffler fell off when I hit a pothole, the serviceman at Meineke made a new pipe section and welded the muffler in place for a reasonable price he was courteous and worked efficiently to get the job done effectively and I appreciated it

Suddenly my car sounded like a diesel truck. Bob checked it over, replaced a gasket and had me on my way without any stress.

Every time I call (the only way to schedule service by the way) the phone rings 10 times then when the call is picked up a loud beep occurs and Im cut off. Ive tried calling 5 times from 3 different locations, so Im pretty sure the issue is not on my end. Their service might be great, Ill apparently never know. This not only undermines my confidence in the Albany location, but in Meineke centers as a whole. Pretty rough experience in all honesty.

Bob did a great job fixing up my car in June. He was quick and efficient and had great communication. Only problem is Im not sure if hes there anymore! Looks like theyre under new management. From what I could tell he was the only worker there before. (answered all calls and did the repairs)

Well shock to me, Bob retired! My car was feeling really weird and I drove there without an appointment. I was greeted by Matt the new owner and he was very nice. All the workers were super professional. I loved the thorough inspection done with pictures so I could actually see what was going on with the vehicle. The entire staff at Meineke are EXTREMELY helpful. I needed to repair the flex pipe on my Mini Cooper and the dealerships are way too expensive. So I chose Meineke. I scheduled an appointment online and they gave me a call a few days before my appointment to confirm the details. Upon arriving I was greeted warmly and was helped as soon as the customers before me were finished being served. Everyone working was very welcoming and helpful. I waited for about 30-45 minutes for them to gather a diagnosis, and I was very happy when they took me out into the garage to show me what I needed repaired (flex pipe) and show me other things that need to be addressed. Even though they couldn t weld the part together because it was broken, they gave great alternatives and estimates so I didn t leave disappointed. They were able to give me a ride home, and even drove my car to my job for me since I wasn t able to pick it up before they closed and was working. When I turned on my car, it sounded AMAZING! I was very impressed and excited and they saved me more than $400. I will definitely be back!

I m very pleased with the service I received. I was a faithful customer before Bob retired and I ll stay as long as life is in my body. The oil change was under 30 minutes and I really loved that. The new staff is very informative and helpful and very friendly. Bob happy retirement and hello to the New Managers at the central Avenue location. Great job guys.

Matt and the receptionist took good care of me, i had gone at a different location for my vehicle inspection, the inspection failed and was told I needed rotar resurfacing. I called different locations who said they dont do rotar resurfacing. Only this location said they would. After examining the vehicle I ended up needing new brakes which they did install and on a good price.

The workers there are so nice and i was nervous as a girl to go to a car shop. But they were fair with pricing if not more than fair. Definitely will be going back!!

Hello guys, I dont usually do reviews but I had to leave one today, okay this was my first experience with Meineke I went there not knowing what was wrong with my car, come to find out someone stole my catalytic converter the help and support I received from Matthew C at Meinke was great from the beginning to the end it took a couple of days to get fixed because they were waiting on the insurance adjuster to show up to approve the payment, Matthew ordered the parts started the process he was also good at returning all of my calls I dont know about every Meineke but I know the Meineke on 1021 Central has a great team there and immaculate customer service I had a great first experience thanks!!!

Honestly Matt and his team were the only good thing about this experience. We came to visit my husband at work and my motor gave out and his team informed me what was going on every step of the way. They got the motor about a week early and got it installed super quick. They fought my extended warranty to cover what the contract says they would cover and they were able to get me back in my jeep within about a month from the time the extended warranty approved repair (which is super quick nowadays for this kind of repair) I would recommend them to anyone in the area they may need any sort of work done. His team works fast and is very knowledgeable on everything. They have been absolutely amazing during this nightmare. Thank you to Matt and his team!

100% recommend! As someone who just moved here and has no experience with cars...Meineke was the best choice for me and should be for everyone! First, it was extremely easy to make an appointment on their website and are open on a Saturday when majority of shops are closed the whole weekend. Second, you get taken care of right away and they are very welcoming making it easy to talk to the employees. I was extremely grateful for Matts help with fixing my cars heat. He showed me & explained what exactly was the problem. He also took the time to check on my car for any other potential issues which I highly appreciated. They wasted no time and got right to it resulting in leaving in less than an hour. Very pleased with Matt and the rest of the employees. Will be my #1 choice when it comes to anything car related!

Very pleased with the work done on my first visit to this location. Both of the technicians were professional and took the time to show, and not just tell, me the issue going on with my car that required the center pipe and gasket replaced. They additionally pointed out that I was going to need some follow-up work on the front portion of the remaining pipe and if I called ahead to set up this appointment they could go ahead and order the part so that on my next visit I wont have to wait long at all, which I very much appreciate. I received estimates for both replacement and repair of this follow-up item so that I can consider when making my decision. Thank you.

My trust level for car shops is very low. The horror stories are many. But here is one that I am happy to say I am pleased with the service and results. Bob was very pleasant and had very good work ethics. He is hardworking and honest. The pricing was good, I had no problem paying for the service as he saved me from getting ripped off somewhere else. Very nice person working there, took an hour to do my oil change, and the waiting room did not have heat on (February), so it was chilly. Expensive. $110 for the oil change. But, the guy (who was the only person working there) was friendly and helpful.

Very customer service oriented. Courteous with good service, a rare find today.
