family owned business that is very fairly priced and dependable. they always fit me in for my car troubles quickly (the next week at the latest) and explain to me what is wrong with my car. for any younger women/people unfamiliar with cars; this is a shop that i feel cares about getting your vehicle fixed safely, and for a reasonable price.
I've been bringing my car to Miller's Corners Garage for over 5 years now, Chuck, Matt and the team are hands down the most honest and trustworthy mechanics I've ever worked with. On multiple occasions, they've saved me from unnecessary repairs by quickly identifying minor issues that could be easily fixed. You just don't find that kind of integrity in the auto repair industry these days. They also take the time to explain problems to me in a way I can actually understand, taking the time to walk me through what's going on with my car and provide super helpful guidance on how I can better maintain it myself. This approach has has made me a much more informed and proactive car owner. What I appreciate most about is their unwavering transparency. They are always upfront about the work that needs to be done and provide accurate estimates. I never feel like I'm being taken advantage of or that there are hidden fees - their pricing is consistently fair and in line with the initial quotes they give me. Overall, I've been 100% satisfied with the service I've received from Miller's Corners Garage over the years. Their focus on honesty, education, and doing what's right for the customer is truly commendable. I would give them my highest possible recommendation to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy mechanic they can count on.
A dear friend who has used Miller’s for over 20 years recommended this garage to me. I needed a repair on a work vehicle that I rely upon to keep my business running. Chuck gave me an appointment, got the car in and called with the estimate in a very timely manner. The car was repaired and back to me later that day. I feel I got great personal service and a quality report. I plan to go back next time.
Edit; my most recent experience is more important than the near decade of previous service. I had a regular service done and they forgot to bolt my front left tire down. When I called them about the noise it had been making they asked if I could bring it in the next week. I asked I I should stop driving on it and they said no. After driving home from work literally crying because I was so scared of the noise coming from my tire, my partner looked at it. We originally thought it was the tie rod or something similar. After he nearly gave up because nothing seemed wrong, he wiggled my tire and realized that half of the nuts had not been tightened. I drove around for a week- two days after I realized there was an issue, with my tire only half bolted on. A representative of theirs contacted me after this happened. I told him I was furious because they damaged my car and could have killed me. I have never heard back from them trying to make it right. After my family had been giving them business for two decades. I'm still furious. Original review, pre tire incident: I've been going to these guys since I got my license. They've always been more than fair with pricing and are very kind. I've had to drop my car off with minimal warning multiple times and they're always accommodating.
Great shop near the Empire State Plaza on the State Museum end. Family-run business, very pleasant folks. Highly efficient and reasonable rates. We moved to area recently, so it was great to find these guys downtown for first NYS inspection…and they’ve done great job on maintenance on our car since. Highly recommend them.
I was new to area and needed automotive work done.. checked out the reviews for Miller’s Corners Garage, which were great! They did not disappoint! They’re a triple threat...Courteous, Professional and Affordable! Update:: we are no longer using Millers Corners Garage. We had them do work, which did nothing to help the problem. Jeep was unsafe to drive even though they said it was. I j we pt calling them to fix it and they kept blowing me off. We eventually took it somewhere else and they did a wonderful job! I would stay away from Millers Corners Garage for anything major. They are fine for an oil change but anything bigger than that I would go somewhere else.
Blew a tire on the highway. They got me in that morning and fixed it up at a super fair price!

Lets start with more than 3 hours waiting After that, he told me that he couldnt make an oil change Cause is bloked or something Thats not my first time i do oil change And i understand how things work Have any proof that he broke it, but Next time, dont let me wait out side for nothing!

Chuck and Matt are awesome and honest. We needed an opinion on the subframe of our car which was rather rusty. Matt covered the details of what needs to be replaced and gave us a quote which was competitive. He also advised us whether it makes sense doing the repair and spending money. We cannot ask for better mechanics than Matt and Chuck. Thank you both!
I was stranded 3 hours away from my home with a newborn after leaving the hospital. I couldn t get my car to start and it was extremely hot. He told me if I could get it over there he would look at it and try to get it running so I could get home. He helped with my ac without charging me so my newborn didn t overheat while he tried to fix my car. He had the part rushed to his shop and put it in immediately. He was very kind and explained everything that was wrong with my car so I wasn t worried about driving it home. My car is now fixed and it was completely affordable! I don t know what I would have done without this shop!
I went for an oil change and a specific tire check and with the tire check they called me and talked to me about what was possibly going on and were very honest about everything and we decided we didnt need to do anything right away. I greatly appreciated the time and honesty of the conversation and their service is just wonderful.

Went in for a full service oil change. The good: mechanic Chuck was polite, reset my oil light, got the job done reasonably quickly, good price The bad: overfilled my engine by a quart, didnt top off my fluids, didnt let me know about maintenance needs other than an air filter, shop is filthy, tracked greasy mud in my car

Recently moved to area. Needed to find new local mechanic shop. Only heard great and solid reviews about Millers. Brought my car in. They assisted with diagnosing rough idle which ended up being low transmission fluid due to leak in the lines. Vehicle make and model does not make it easy to check the transmission fluid and Millers took the time and care to mend car properly. Very fair pricing and knowledgable mechanics. I will now utilize Millers as my local mechanic shop for Albany.

They were able to squeeze us in last minute-instead of recommending expensive repair options, they were very honest with us and offered an easy solution, plus they explained everything to us so we understood the issue very clearly. They charged us a low price to look into our issue. I highly recommend them!
Extremely knowledgeable, personable, and honest. I am so glad I brought my car here. I had been going to the dealer for service but decided to get a second opinion after the dealer said I needed to replace pretty new brakes and a caliper to pass inspection. I brought my car to Millers Corners and Chuck explained why the caliper might be leaking and the circumstances under which the brakes might need to be replaced. I really appreciated the information, I learned a lot. They kept me updated throughout the process every step of the way. Everyone remembered both my and my partner s name which was nice! I m definitely bringing my car to them in the future. No more dealer for me!
