My transaction on my 2010 Chrysler Town and Country was simple and quick I was a three day turnaround and the tow driver delivered my payment when she picked up the van and collected the title.

Too good to be true? Nope! The offer was easily twice that of others. This of course triggered the too good to be true alert. I took several days to research the company and look for reviews. There were not a lot of reviews out there for this company in particular, however there was some for the parent company Copart. Most had positive experiences so I decided to go ahead. Car was picked up when they said they would pick it up. Tow truck driver had the check in hand. Check was cleared by my bank. Absolutely no issues here. Staff were answered all my questions and concerns. Date of experience: July 11, 2023

Copart/Cash for Cars was very easy to deal with. Abdul Raheem was completely professional in our dealings. The only glitch was that Abdul and I had agreed on a Tuesday pickup and the local dispatcher failed to do that so it was delayed a few days. My car was picked up this morning by the firm that the dispatcher in Albany assigned to that task. The exchange was quick and painless as Abdul had described it. The only issue I had was the lack of a more definite time to tow my car away. It was anytime after...when it was 3:30 and the site said it closed at 4pm I called and got a person who told me then that the tow people work until 7 pm at night! Yikes. MY tow guy showed up about 5:20. He wrote me out a check and by the time I went back in the house to retrieve all my keys and came back out my car was loaded on and ready to go. The whole process was very easy for me. I didnt have to deal with strangers coming to look at my vehicle and maybe pay me.

Thank goodness I found this service! My car broke down completely on a remote stretch of highway and had to be towed to a small town nearby. Unfortunately there were no scrap or junk yards close by and I was at a loss on how to dispose of it. Well, I found Cash for Cars online and it was perfect! They took down some info, quoted me a price and scheduled a pickup date. I couldnt locate my original title but they took care of that also. When I met up with them on the pickup date they had me sign some DMV replacement title forms and I was good to go. Gave me a check right there. Very easy. Im extremely satisfied.

Fyi - I am writing a review for the Toronto, Canada Cash for Cars. I looked online and submitted a quote not thinking these were legit sites. After speaking with a customer rep and receiving a few emails, including a quote for my used vehicle, I realized they are actually a branch off of Copart USA. I received a reasonable quote and price for my vehicle. They setup the tow with an independent towing contractor who arrived on time and on the date scheduled. I was pleased about this as I have seen reviews where there are no shows. I received a cheque on the spot and it was from Copart. I was concerned that I wouldnt be able to cash it right away but the tow driver activated the account and I was able to cash the cheque by going to my local bank. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the experience but glad that this was not a scam and my vehicle was sold. Something to keep in mind that in the province of Ontario, unless the buyer registers the sold vehicle, it will still be in the name of the seller.

VERY prompt service...they actually called before I even finished filling out the online form! Process was simple; I was rather annoyed that the appointment to have the car picked up was Friday 8-5 meaning I had to take a day off work, but that could just be how whoever they contract with rolls...I didnt bother asking if I could get a more precise pickup time. Anyway; it was super easy to get rid of my undrivable car even though I didnt even have the keys for it (didnt need em to start the car ).

Update at 4:45 pm on Saturday, 10/22: Make that three days of waiting on the tow driver. We called this morning and were told they would look into it. Heard from the tow driver around 11:45 am. Told he was in Rensselaer and would be to us in about an hour and a half. We stay home. Car is still in the driveway. Negotiating a price was fine, but we have now lost two days of work this week waiting for their tow service to arrive and pick up the car. On the first scheduled date, Monday, we were given a four hour arrival window (between 1 and 5). We called them at 5 pm and were told that the garage was closed and it would need to be rescheduled. We called them again on Tuesday and they scheduled it for Friday--no window for the arrival time, just sometime on Friday. We called this morning to confirm and were reassured that yes, the vehicle would be picked up today. As of 4 pm, still no tow truck. We called again and were told that even though it would be after 5 pm, they still planned to pick up the vehicle today. It is now 8:15 pm and no one has arrived, nor have we received any call to inform us, reschedule, or apologize. Everyone is having trouble with staffing, we get that. What we absolutely cannot understand is that we are the ones making all these calls. The business should definitely be reaching out if they are not going to be able to honor their commitments. And that would be the bright side possibility -- on the other end of the spectrum I find myself questioning whether this, and their almost too good to be true offer, is simply a scam.

It was ok, I was switched to a different company name for pickup and payment. The payment I was given was less than the minimum advertised on their site and the pickup was delayed past their original scheduled time. I did get some money for the car. I spoke to the local agent to get a bill of sale and the person I spoke to did not seem to understand why I would want this, I had to go to the parent company. Always get a bill of sale for your vehicles, for legal reasons. I would probably not use again.

Process to get my car sold was fairly simple, one phone call and the agent set me up for everything. There was a hiccup though, they didnt tell me about all of the documents Id need to have ready when the tow truck arrived. Thankfully, the tow driver was on top of things and alerted me in advance to what Id need and had me provide images via text to ensure everything was in order before he got there. Overall, great service, but the initial mismanagement of the required documents would have been a bummer had the tow driver not double checked everything ahead of time.

I had a 2021 BMW 5 series with some minor issues. I was getting offered 1/3 of the vehicles worth in trade in from dealerships. My brother used a similar cash for vehicle company in the US so I thought I would try. After some research I decided to use Cash for Cars. From the start to finish they were excellent. I sent pictures and confirmed the condition of the car. After a little back and forth negotiation, they came up close to the price I expected.. 2/3 of the cars value which was fair and it needed repairs. The towing company showed up when scheduled, paid the exact amount and car was gone. Very simple and easy. Customer support was great. If I ever sell a car again, I will use this company.

Was not impressed at all. After setting up information on the web with them and arranging pick up I had to cancel because of weather. At that time they said I needed to put in my information and I told them I had already did that!! After checking they confirmed yes I had so we set the date and time to pick up the vehicle. It was supposed to be between 8-12, I told her that we lived out of town and needed 45 minutes to get to my daughter s house for pick up and she told me the tow truck driver will call me 1 hour prior to pick up. At 11 the day of pick up we hadnt heard anything so we headed to town and called dispatch and she said shell call the driver and have him contact me. After a no show by noon I called again and was told the same thing. After waiting for another hour we went to get some lunch. While away my daughter called us and said the driver was at the house ( we never got a phone call) after we got there her looked over the title, hooked into the vehicle and left. After a week went by I was contacted and said the title signature was wrong ( even though we signed it exactly like I was told) a had to sign a paper of corrections. My daughter printed the paper and set it to the address that was given. A week later I was contacted again and said they needed the paper so my daughter did it again and sent it to them a second time. Hopefully this headache is over!!! Needless to say we will never use this company again!!
