To be fair to look at the vehicle from 20 away it looks good. I guess my expectation was too high. We brought our car in for a full detail and paintless dent removal. The dent is gone and looks good. 2 year old car with no pets, nonsmoker and fairly neurotic wife that keeps it very clean so interior was almost perfect. When picking up the car we immediately noticed that it was dripping water off of it. The service said 6 month sealant. How did the sealant get applied if the car was just washed prior to us getting there? Also there were still marks on the paint that rubbed off with my finger. The windows were all smeary and no one cleaned inside the gas door. Again it overall. From a distance it looks good ,but not what I was expecting from a professional shop and for the money it cost. No I did nothing t spend thousands of dollars but it was a bit of money.

The Works did an outstanding job of applying PPF, ceramic coating and interior protection on my new 2023 Corvette Z06. Kory and his staff exceeded my expectations. They are truly masters of their craft and apply attention to detail to every part of the installation. They even proactively modified a portion of film from the xpel pattern to avoid a seam that would have occurred in the middle of the engine hatch. I had PPF installed on two cars by other shops. While I was pleased with their work The Works is clearly a cut above on finished product quality and customer support. I highly recommend them for all car detailing and follow up services.

Took my BMW 530 in for a Ceramic Coating with Paint Corrections. Car now looks brand new. Staff were all cool and had great communication throughout the process. Drop off and pick up was a breeze. They have a very nice workshop including the front end which has beautiful epoxy floors.

I had my car detailed on Friday and I am legitimately blown away!! I have a baby and two dogs and they got every piece of dog hair out of my car. I highly recommend them! They also did my husbands tint a few years back and was very pleased with that as well!

Did a horrible job wrapping my c5 Z06 and when brought back to fix issues more wrap was overlayed instead of actually addressing the issues and looked terrible from the moment I picked it up. You would think for the price they charge that they would do a decent job but that was not the case. Wrinkled wrap everywhere, cut up clear coat, bubbles throughout. Did not bother bringing it back after so called repairs were made. I have since sold the car.

Josh did an incredible job applying ppf and ceramic coating to my 2023 C8 Corvette! No film is detectable and the color is much clearer and vibrant! See the posted photo. I came back to have the entire C8 done in the ppf and ceramic coating by Josh. Once again the work that was done is stellar! The car is almost 2 years old and didn t look this good when I drove it off the lot!!

These folks do amazing work!!! They did a 2 step paint correction and ceramic coating to fix a ton of swirls and small scratches that I discovered on my brand new 2024 Rav4.

When I purchased my 2022 Rivian R1T Launch Edition 2 years ago, I immediately brought it to The Works Auto Center to have the vehicle treated with a ceramic coating. The treatment is incredible, as it looks fantastic after I wash it and the best part is it washes so easily. Bugs, bird droppings, and dirt just don t stick like they do with a vehicle that is just waxed. I purchased the package with a 3 year program where I bring it back to the works for a refresh once a year for three years. The staff at The Works is as professional as they are friendly. I had some small dents with no paint damage, and they brought in a PDR (pointless dent repair) expert in to fix the dents. You can not tell that the dents were ever there. Great work, and with the ceramic refresh, my Rivian looks as good as the day it was delivered tome. I highly recommend The Works for anyone who wants extra special protection for their vehicle. A special thanks to Josh, who made sure everything was done perfectly on my truck.

The Works Auto Center is THE BEST!!!!! Dont look any further!! They literally picked up my Brand New C8 Corvette at the Dealership and transported it directly to their shop. Why you ask? Because the owner, Kory, told me that you dont want to chance even getting a small chip on the car driving from the dealership to their shop!! Talk about GREAT ADVICE!! He took pics of the car being loaded up and also in their shop during the install process. That is SERVICE! I had them Expel the ENTIRE Car and then apply a Ceramic Coating. The cars finish looks like GLASS!! It is IMPOSSIBLE to detected the Expel on the paint. And I worked at an Auto Body Shop for 5 years. I know what to look for! Great crew that work for him too! The Works was so helpful with assisting me in choosing the right option for my Tacoma and getting it scheduled for a Level 2 ceramic coat. I could not have been happier with how it turned out! I was totally blown away when I picked up my truck! It looked better than when I drove it off the dealership lot. I recently returned for a wash and was again very happy with everything. We will absolutely continue to be repeat customers! Updating this review to mention that we returned for ceramic coating on another vehicle about a year later and again we could not have been happier!! Took my truck down to get detailed with water spot removal and get the windows tinted. The truck turned out better than I could have expected. Will definitely use again. I ll post pictures of how terrible the water spots were and how great the truck looked after the detail.

I made an appointment three days ago to have my car ceramic coated on October 10, few minutes ago (today October 2, 2023) I called to cancel and was told my $100 deposit is non refundable, as stated on their communication, if you ever wonder what business will take your deposit and not return it despite not having to buy any specific materials for the job, and with plenty of notice (8days) to fill the appointment spot, the answer is (DESPERATE CROOKS).

They were wrapping my friends new Z06 so I got to talk to them and check out their facility. The shop is very clean and well lit which is critical for a good PPF installation. I spoke with both the owner and another installer and both appeared to be very knowledgeable and very focused on the details. Again these are critical traits for a great installation. They also took the time to use larger sheets of Xpel instead of the smaller sheets that the pattern called for resulting in less seams. His car looked awesome after the paint correction, film and ceramic coating. I am seriously considering using the Works when my Z06 comes in.

Brought in a Ford Maverick for a Ceramic Coating and they did an excellent job as usual. Though not a sports car that The Works has done on my other cars, they worked on it as if it was one. This little truck looks great. After I picked it up and stopped at the store, someone said, wow, that shine looks great. Enough said.

Chose this place bc of the reviews. They do great with the performance wrap, but subpar with tint. I paid more compared to other quotes within the Albany area expecting better, but hindsight, I should ve gone to another shop. Originally wished I went darker, but now that it s settled- the blips would be pop more if I did.

Recently had my 18 Denali HD in for a 3 year ceramic coat. Have to say they knocked it out of the park. Attention to detail is very high. My truck is black so any scuffs were quite obvious. They were able to buff out almost all of it. Would not hesitate to return for more work. And the shop itself is so clean you could eat off the floor!

I was not familiar with PPF or ceramic coatings and Shelby took the time to go through the options and explain what each coating provided so that I could make the most informed decision about what I wanted for my new car. I then took a few days to decide without any pressure. I came across The Works Auto Center while trying to find a shop that would do Ceramic Coating on our new car. After reaching out with multiple shops and taking into account their experience doing Ceramic Coating, I came across this local business run by Kory Asher. The Works is authorized by Ceramic Pro, a leading ceramic coating product. I am so glad that I found Kory as he is very professional, detail oriented and easy to work with. He did an AWESOME job on our new car that we bought 3 weeks ago. I am sure anyone looking at the vehicle now would be impressed with the quality of work and product. Most people do not understand that even new vehicles have flaws in the paint. Kory did great paint correction before applying Ceramic Pro which now provides hydrophobic capabilities to the entire exterior (paint, plastic, glass and wheels), besides enhancing the beauty of the vehicle. The ceramic coating allows the water to bead and roll off, as the product is like a layer of glass on top of the surface of the vehicle. The Works does other detailing (washing/waxing/etc) work also on cars, besides ceramic coating. I believe this is the best place for ceramic coating in the Capital Region. I had my vehicle taken care of at The Works Auto Center and was blown away by the results, I sprung for an exterior paint correction and film protectant application to keep the paint looking nice after a respray. The time and effort spent on my vehicle speaks for itself. I was treated very professionally, and my car was treated as if it was the owners own! I heard about this place through a coworker, since I had been looking for a place to detail my car. It was easy to an appointment, drop off my car and they called when they were done. The atmosphere in there was great, and welcoming which is rare when woman walks into anything to do with cars. The owner Kory came out talked to me about my car and was so friendly. When I got back into my car it felt brand new again. I ve gone back every season for just that feeling and even gotten my family s cars done for the holidays/ change in seasons. My family is always amazed on the great job they do on them, considering my entire family works in construction and there cars are usually a heaping pile of ground in dirt and who knows what else. So long story short this place is amazing and would recommend it to anyone if you want quality work done with people you can trust.

I brought my car seats to The Works to have them cleaned up after mice had gotten into my car and made everything smell. The guys were able to get them cleaned up in a day, got all the stains out and they smell brand new. Definitely recommend.

The Works Auto Center did an amazing job applying full body PPF and ceramic coating to my new 2021 Tesla Model Y. The car looks incredible shines like its newer than new! and knowing its protected from the elements and accidental dings (self-healing PPF!) gives me peace of mind that the car is well protected. The service isnt cheap, but you get what you pay for, and I consider it part of the total cost of investing in my vehicle. Shelby was great to work with in all of our correspondence. Went to The Works to do a full chrome delete on my truck. I can tell you they did not disappoint. They were very accommodating and went above and beyond. The owner kept me updated with pictures everyday on the progress being made. The work they did makes the truck look like it came blacked out from the factory, even the black powder coated rims look factory. I will gladly go back to The Works for any other car related matters and I look forward to getting the ceramic coating done in the near future

The Works Auto Center is the perfect example of you get what you pay for . I ve taken my vehicles to many different detailing shops over the years and often felt disappointed with the outcome. So much so, that years ago, I was compelled to purchase my own detailing equipment and do my own detailing. However, my biggest challenge is trying to keep my black 2014 GMC pickup looking like new. Even though I love this truck, I was considering trading it in for another truck of a different color that was easier to maintain. I was about to purchase a new silver truck, when a friend told me about The Works Auto Center. I started viewing the photos of completed vehicles on their Facebook page and was amazed. I went and spoke with Kory (the owner) and he assured me that he could get my truck looking better than new with the Ceramic Pro process and it d be tremendously easier to maintain. Kory explained every step of the process and after looking over their shop, it was easy to see the amount of pride that Kory, Landon and Josh have in their work. I decided to go with the Ceramic Pro Gold package, along with Xpel protective film installed over vulnerable areas in the front. When I went to pick up the truck I was stunned! It was absolutely perfect! I m so pleased that I decided to have Kory detail my truck instead of losing many thousands of dollars by purchasing a new one. Also, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that having the Ceramic Pro package applied to your vehicle gets reported to CARFAX and the Gold Package lifetime warranty is transferable to a subsequent owner, adding value to my truck. Well worth every dollar spent! Sorry for the long winded review, but I just can t say enough good about this business!

Got PPF and ceramic coating on my used Tesla and it came out perfect. I really liked the constant communication throughout the process, and regularly got updates on the status of my car. Very efficient place and easy to do business with. Seems they truly care about their customers.

Five years ago I had an XPEL paint protecting film applied by a nearby car dealership. At the time, they did not wrap the film around the body panel edges. It looked like garbage but still offered great protection. Fast forward to 2021. After a summer at the beach, I took my SUV in for an interior/exterior detail. The Works did a grate job detailing the SUV and recommended I have the XPEL film removed and redone. After asking for XPEL to cover the material costs, I had The Works remove and reapply the PPF. They did great work and the SUV looks better than new. I am so happy that there is a great detailer in Albany.

Kory Asher and his team at The Works Auto Center are the best in the area, by far. I have had fairly extensive detailing/cosmetic work done on both my vehicles at this shop. Their PPF/ clear bra & paint correction skills are second to none. They also maintain my vehicles regularly with maintenance washes and detailing. Kory & the guys are also very personable & patient. They take the time to listen to you, to make sure they understand what you want and deliver that to you. This, to me, is as important as the actual work they perform. Kory has done excellent work on my previous BMW 340i, starting when we met after an unfortunate overspray of paint by a line crew on the highway. I had heard about him through the BMW local car club, so I went to him and he removed all of the overspray followed by applying a ceramic coat the vehicle. He detailed the car to maintain it during the subsequent few years that followed. Fast forward - I knew I wanted to have the experience of driving a full on M vehicle, and though I thought that would be an M3 or maybe M4, I wasnt fond of the front end changes. I was in the fortunate position to order a 2022 X3M Competition in July when 2021 orders were no longer being taken. I immediately contacted Kory knowing I had to have ppf on this vehicles front end fresh out of the factory given my previous experience of seeing what rocks had done to my previous front end. Seeing new chips every few weeks was painful considering how well I try to keep my vehicles looking good! Of course, being pretty OCD, our interactions evolved from a front end ppf to a full body ppf including windshield ppf and of course ceramic coating. Being my first M vehicle, I found it worthy to invest in the enjoyment of the vehicle for the time I will have it because as pointed out, I noticed every chip, swirl, or scratch, especially coming from the previous black 340i. So, this was the perfect car to go all out and make more mint than it was when it left South Carolina. Kory picked it up at the dealership while I was working in another state, sending me photos to keep me updated on the process. He would continue doing so throughout the process of prepping, filming, and coating the vehicle. Im a bit neurotic with the OCD I alluded to earlier, so this was a great touch while he remained open to my texts and calls throughout the week without making me feel like I was being inconvenient as I know how customer service is, and Im probably that customer in some ways that anyone is happy to complete service with. Never an issue for him however. Anyway, the real delivery took place when I picked up the vehicle at his shop and I couldnt be happier with all of the service exceeding my wildest expectations. I trust him with my vehicles the way one should trust a surgeon performing open heart surgery. Kory and his team are meticulous, work ethic-driven, and competent in all aspects of detailing. Theres a reason why you dont let a dealer pretend to be your detailer just as you dont go to an orthopedic surgeon for a heart surgery. You go to the appropriate specialist. I have no doubt that The Works Auto Center will continue to be my go to for any detailing needs and I certainly recommend him and his team to any and all who bring up the topic or even those who may benefit from his services unknowingly. I am very happy with my Civic vinyl wrap on my roof! Like many 8th gen Civic (2006-2011) owners, the gloss coat was failing creating an unsightly look. I was seeking a repaint when The Works Auto Center suggested a less expensive option to fit my budget. And it comes with a three year warranty so I can rest assured that The Works Auto Center will stand by its work! The owner, Kory, suggested a matching wrap since restoration to its original look was really my top goal. Although I just got my car back today I am thrilled with the job I received. It really was exactly what I wanted and it was within my budget!

I needed to get an old application of xpel removed , as well as, a new one installed with ceramic coating and paint correction. It was easy and COVID safe enough to get an estimate and an appointment. It was about 2-3 week later when I dropped the car off. Three days later the car was done on time. Pick up was smooth. The car looks beautiful. The car had been scratched by an idot, prompting my visit to The Works. They were able to render it almost undetectable. Their methods and products have turned my 5 year old car into near new condition. It is show car smooth and glossy. Their application of the xpel has been spot on as far as the edges. They did a great job on the wheels, the calipers and the paintless dent removal was the finishing touch. Cost is fair for the labor. This is never a cheap affair, but they made it totally a worthwhile purchase. The team is pleasant to work with and communicative. You wont go wrong and Ill be dropping off my other car in the fall.

Outstanding experience from introduction to pick-up. Setting up the service, which included ceramic coating and a protective film, was quick and easy while Kory was still very thorough. I could not have been more impressed with how the car looked when I picked it up. I was even more surprised when I was informed that my bumper was not the original bumper. I recently purchased the vehicle and the car dealership didnt mention this nor was it in the Carfax. The team then was able to figure out which bumper I had and custom cut new protective film for it. In addition to eating the cost of having to do that they went the extra mile by covering the B pillar (which has the model imprinted on the outside) with protective film, which was not in the original plans. They did all of this for no extra charge! Finally, because of a last minute scheduling conflict I was unable to pick up the car on the scheduled day. They were happy to hold onto the car, taking up available bay space, for an extra day until I could get there. It was raining heavily the day I could pick-up and they would have been completely within their rights to park it outside but didnt, so that there wouldnt be any water marks on pick-up. I could not have been more impressed and recommend them without reservation. I will definitely be going back with my wifes car and with any future detailing needs I have.

The works auto center was great! I just purchased a brand new truck and made the mistake of getting it in black. Even though it was an expensive truck I plan to work with it so I called the works auto detailing to find out what I could do to preserve the exterior as much as possible/prevent scratches etc. They told me about paint protection film and ceramic coating, it wasn t cheap but they also did an extensive paint correction on the vehicle to remove all the scratches from the drive through car washes that were on my truck in one month of ownership. After the full paint correction they did the PPF and ceramic coating. Took about five days for everything but when I got my truck back it looked better than when I drove away from the dealership in it. They are very helpful, very careful and very professional Not only will I bring future vehicles to them but I am recommending them to anyone who will listen!!! I purchased my 2020 Tesla Model 3 in July. Immediately, I was concerned about the paint as it contained swirl marks, tiny paint chips and bubbles! About 2 months later, one of those bubbles popped open and the paint just peeled away! Tesla was ZERO help. They told me that it was my responsibility to protect my investment. I realized that I needed to seek an alternative solution. I made an appointment with The Works to have my car covered in PPF. Shelby called as soon as the car was cleaned and prepped because there were more surprises. She shared pictures and offered suggestions on what work should be done to remedy the situation. I was blown away by her customer service and compassion! After delivering the news, she even told me to take my time to make my final decision! In short, the car came out better than I expected! It looks gorgeous! I even received a comment on the car on my way home! :) I can not say enough good things about this company and their customer service! They are the best around!!!!!

Due to the weather, they asked to delay my pickup of the finished vehicle to allow more time to cure rather than risk reducing the quality of the finished product, and met with me on a Saturday when they are normally closed to take delivery. The experience is fantastic to say the least. A detailed reason as to why I say that is the following: 5/5 responsiveness to my questions 5/5 in depth knowledge about the process 5/5 care for your vehicle 5/5 price to value (& competitive pricing) And last but not least 5/5 quality of the ceramic coating & application I just drove 30-40 miles on gnarly roads in late January and my truck is entirely spotless(including rims!) I was highly recommended to auto works by friends, coworkers, and even local businesses (including my dealership) know the quality of work done here. I saw living proof of the coating on my coworkers BLACK truck after 2 months of it on his truck so I was immediately sold. They did an absolute amazing job on my 2018 sti, it looks absolutely flawless and they were able to go above and beyond my expectations. I thought I would just do a ceramic coating (which we did) and we ended up doing a couple installations of parts I had as well as an awesome gloss black color change for the rims.
