I want everyone to know what an absolute pleasure it was to have DePaula Mazda Service center tend to my vehicle. I own an 2023 MX5 with low miles and my manual transmission malfunctioned and needed replacing. What could have been a very stressful situation, was handled perfectly by Dan and the service manager at the service desk. The work was conducted by Dan the Technician and he was masterful. In less than a week it was problem solved. I recommend DePaula Mazda for all your service needs and you can count on it being done right. I can't thank Dan and Dan enough. I've never taken my car "to the dealer" for service, but had a recall to address, so I brought it in for an inspection. The entire process was super smooth. LOVE the pull-in bays during bad weather. The video summary they text you is nice too. Everyone was efficient and very friendly - Lisa very much included. It's nice to have one person to work with throughout the process. Will definitely return.
DePaula Mazda was a nice surprise when my family was looking for a SUV lease option for our daughter. Our sales specialist, Todd, did a great job and no pressure, and hats off to the financial coordinator too. They did so well that we ended up getting two new vehicles within a week from them!
I feel that I was encouraged to buy a new cabin filter when the car only had less than 5,000 miles. I researched when it is usually recommended 15,000 miles after I got home. Plus $80 seems extremely high price. The maintenance service was completed in a timely manner, as I was waiting in the nice lobby.
We needed to replace a part on our vehicle and live 2+ hours from dealership. They worked to get an appointment time convenient for me. When I arrived, they took the vehicle right away checked me in, and asked if I wanted to use a loaner vehicle until my repairs were complete. The service took less time than they had anticipated and everything was ready to go when we arrived at dealership to pick up our vehicle and head home. Ver y professional and convenient appointment.
My engine light was on for two weeks. I don’t live in Albany area and I have to drive hours to get there. Staffs are perfect and friendly. Even though it was weekend, they still fixed my car on time so that I didn’t have to stay there for days. 100% recommend dealership!
My last visit to DePaula Mazda was for the annual NYS inspection. The work was completed quickly and the only charge was for new air filters. Veryhappy withtheservice and the comfort of the waiting area.

I had a minor issue on my front passenger door and Depaula mazda was quick and able to accomodate me with a loaner car while I was waiting. Its my only day off for the week so I really appreciate it. It was over in 2 hours and they sent me a concise video of what the issue is. I have newbie driver friends around the area, and I can vouch I have the best customer service experience compared to them. :)

First, let me say my first experience with DePaula Mazdas service center was generally positive. I did not give this a higher rating for two reasons. 1. After driving 45 min for a highly advertised free NYS inspection the wait for this scheduled appointment seemed excessively long. 2. More importantly, I was unaware and to my knowledge never told that as a new car buyer I was entitled to free oil changes and tire rotation during my first year of ownership, resulting in a large unnecessary cost to me at my local garage. Out of fairness, DePaula should offer to extend this valuable unused benefit for my very next oil change.

I needed a lot of repairs done on my 12 year old 2011 Mazda 3. After Theo examined my car, he sent a video and advise me on what I should do. New tires, breaks, suspension work and serpentine belt. My service advisor Matt, worked up the cost estimate, located and ordered the parts. The work was completed correctly and on time. Thank you DePaula service team for the personal attention to detail and very friend service.

I called the service manager left a message to call me back when I got the e-mail the car was done i waited a week he never call me back so I went in to pickup the car Back in January the dealer put a new battery in, then on May 18 the battery was totally dead, I then replace the battery so I could drive it in for a repair and the bad battery was in the back seat on the floor Told the service writer about the battery on the floor in the back seat No one checked the bad battery as stated on the repair order I also had a free oil change done that was never done back in January but the dealer e-mail a video showing being done The video was from the year before They keep the bad battery and said it would be tested to see if it was bad It was bad, I then had to go pickup the new battery under warrantee from them and put in myself I never got a receipt for any of the repairs or even if the oil change was done! NOT HAPPY WITH MAZDA SERVICE FOR THE SECOND TIME

I test drove a car with Jake & he was great through out the whole process even though I ended up buying the car from another dealership, he followed up and the overall experience with sales was wonderful! After I bought the car, I brought it in for 45k mile service since I wasn t sure of the previous dealership doing it. Brian was my service advisor and very helpful, they sent me a video shortly after dropping the car off & I loved being able to see that everything was in good condition with proof. Besides that, I had a recall that had to be done, and they gave me a rental until I got my car back. The recall issue was fixed within 2 days and everything has been working perfectly since. 100% recommend this dealership to anyone, every person I got to meet was very knowledgeable and friendly.

I have always had great service from Depaula Mazda. On my last appt nobody told me they moved so i was told when I got there I was told they moved about 5 min up the street. It actually was about 15 min up the street. They were very nice when i got there and told them i was waiting. It generally takes an hour or so. I was told that was how ling it would be. Well after waiting 90 min i asked what was happening and was told it would be out soon. 15 min later i went up front to see where my car was and my repbwas on the ohone telling someone all the services they iffervfor another 15 min. Inthen found a woman and told her i had to get to work and asked her to find out from the mechanic what the story was. She said soon. After 10 more min i asked ger to please check again. My rep was still on the phone with the same caller even though i was standing there he ignored me. Finally i got my car. There was no sticker telling me when the next service mileage would be in the left windsheild like there always is so im not sure when they want to see my car again? They also told me i needed to replace the fluids?? I thought they did that with an oul change and filter? Now my tire pressure light is on and im not sure if they even checked my tires as they usually do. The windsheild wipers went soon after so they didnt check those. Over all i am really unhappy withbthis new facility and the service. I really liked the other place and would prefer to go back there. Also the other place is closer to my office and had a service to take you to work if u left your car. I dont think this place does and it us a lot further than the other place. Overall i am very unhappy with Maxda for moving service elsewhere. It is not at all a convenience to its customers
The new location exclusively for Mazda really supports their mission to be a premium brand. The experience wasnt like a big dealership where you are a cog in the wheel. Also, I was able to get lunch at a nearby restaurant that I enjoy and there are a few various options less than a five minute walk as you wait. Matthew provided amazing service and communication. Do I wish it went a little faster than 1.5 hrs for an oil change and general overview? Sure. But I also asked that tighten things up. However I am loving this location and their staff. I can trust that they are going to look over my vehicle and be honest with recommendations. No one tried to upsell or try gaslight me. This is how you cultivate loyalty! Four stars is only for some wait time beyond what Id like but their lounge is nice and has various coffee and latte offerings.

DePaula Mazda at the shared dealership was one the best buying experiences even after an initial communication issue from the online sales team. During my used vehicle assessment the entire sales team went into a meeting to find out why my situation happened and how to make sure the issue wouldnt happen again. Then the sales process was an extremely smooth non pressure buying experience. Now sitting at the new dedicated Mazda dealership the service is still top notch with a facility that shows Mazda wants to be know as a contender with the German brands.

Good, except same problem I ve had before. When driving home Tire Pressure Alert went on because not calibrated correctly. Had to Google how to calibrate (turning alert off only works until next time you start car). Easy fix but annoying.

Everybody was very friendly and helpful. My salesperson Bill Varrone was great. I usually loathe the car buying experience because I cant stand pushy sales people. Bill was not pushy at all, very down to earth and easy to talk to. Stephanie was also great. Very courteous and helpful. I bought a used vehicle. Front brakes were marginal. I brought the car in and Matt did a great job getting it taken care of and getting me shuttled back and forth to work. Overall, it was a very good experience.

Service Advisor was courteous and professional. Bought my CX-5 back in to correct oil drip after differential service. Richie had the car checked out and problem corrected--cracked o-ring. Very satisfied with Richie and other service staff. Have had excellent experience with DePaula Mazda.

I would give them 0/5 but they wont even let me do that...wow. I have had the pleasure of bringing my Mazda in to attach a roof rack and theyve done a decent job, would say Customer service is decent as they SEEM to care about their customer....BUTTTTTTTT Fast forward a few weeks later I had to bring it back to check on my brakes as it was not applying correctly and my car was shaking as I hit the brakes. When I came back to complained that it was not user error (My car is a 2021 CX-5, with only 13,000 miles, still under the 3 year warranty when I made this complaint) that the brakes were faulty, they INSISTED and was ADAMENT that the brakes are NOT faulty and will not be covered under warranty (My Nissan of 6 years never need new brakes). SOOOOO...I called Mazda cooperate, expressing my concern once again and did they do anything....Just as expected, NOTHING. Just kept reading off the script that ALL Mazda Service Representatives are required to do, to read off to customers who complained. So if I were you and a note to my future self, to NEVER EVER support Mazda and that include TOYOTAs as well, as they are one and the same now. THANK YOU, BUT NO THANK YOU!

I like DePaul was considering purchase of a new Mazda,I really like the one I have. Their repairs are very expensive. So For the first time I took my car else where. 1200.00 for rear shocks is too much. So sorry probably wont buy from you or return for service. First time since I bought my Mazda.Sad.

This is always a wonderful experience for us. Our car was serviced there on Nov. 17th. We got a great deal on tires and the whole experience of the service we got was very professional. We like the video showing the examination of the car during the service.
Had a relaxed time in the shop while waiting for the maintenance. Workers in the dealer were very kind and polite.
Nice staff at the Service Department. I was in only for oil change and tire rotation, which is one of two freebies for buying there. Two complaints: should it really take just under two hours for this?, Second, I was not given a receipt showing the work done when I left, but was told it would be e-mailed to me. I did get an email containing a video taken by the technician showing him performing an inspection of the underside. Nice, but with only 5000 miles on the car, not really helpful. Three days later, I still haven t gotten the receipt. Since it s a 35 mile drive each way from my house, my guess is that I won t return after the second and last free service unless warranty work is needed. Nothing against the shop, but I suspect my independent mechanic can handle service in the future. I ll keep an open mind though.
I took my Mazda3 in for regular maintenance and the tech found it needed an alignment. I did not have to wait long for them to fix it. The car felt wonderful when I drove away from the dealership. Now, Im driving like I own the road.
Depaula keeps emailing me about an appointment for a car I do not own and no response from anyone to correct it.

DePaula is my favorite Mazda dealer. They are so polite, knowledgeable, respectful, patient, and all around a great experience from service to buying a car! They ve never let me down in the almost 7 years I ve dealt with them. Recently I purchased a cx-90 which I love but has had some recalls and issues. The service department has been great in getting me in and working hard to resolve my issues while accommodating my long drive to the dealer. I d recommend them to anyone!

I had the brake pads and rotors replaced on my Mazda 3 hatchback as well as the front and rear wipers and oil change. Everything went smooth until I drove away and was driving home when the low engine oil light came on. I called the Service Department, and had to drive back and bought oil in case I needed it on the drive back to the dealership. They reimbursed me for the oil and gave me two free oil changes. Overall the Service Department did everything to try and make the inconvenient situation better. Many thanks!

Staff were polite and intelligent. I especially liked the mechanics video explaining his findings as he checked over various parts of the car and its operation.
Everyone was willing to help and extremely courteous . My service rep took the time to explain everything about my car and I did not feel rushed at all.

Work was done well and everyone was nice and polite. Only problem is when you have an appointment and show up on time, you should be taken sooner than they seemed to do. Oil change, tire rotation and NYS inspection should not take 2 hours.

The staff at DePaula Mazda was the best on my day of emergency service. From the scheduler who transferred me to the Service Advisor who told me to come right in though I was not scheduled. When I arrived, Lisa Dugan took care of my concerns to and my car was off to the Tech who worked on my car. Through the video sent to me, I was able to see him checking out the car on the lift, explaining each step he took and how he fixed the ADD. In fact, Lisa had him take the car for a ride with him to confirm the noise didnt/wasnt recurring. I am indebted to their kindness, expertise to calm me in my state of panic! Thank you to the other staff who also had roles in informing me of the progress. Everyone from the scheduler, service advisor on this morning, front desk with Lisa , the Tech and others involved in this process, whose names I do not know, their expertise, kindness towards me...they all should be commended and the owners should be aware of these employees. Thank you, each one, for a positive outcome and what step to take if the problem could not be solved at this time. .my gracious appreciation....

I love the new place and the staff was very informative and the hot chocolate was great! It did seem to take an awful long time to have oil change and tire rotation. The service manager was very courteous and answered any questions I needed.
