I travel for work three-quarters of the year, so getting a good night sleep is priority for my wellness and sanity. This is the first time I have stayed at the Four Points Albany and what an incredible treat it was! Jose was super helpful in helping with reservations, answering questions about the hotel. Upon check-in, the staff was friendly and had a great attitude. The room is spacious, clean and modern and the bed comfortable for a good night's rest. The hotel is quiet and well-designed because I didn't hear noise from the street or the hall. They take great care of cleaning the hotel daily; the conference rooms are well lit and with good temperature to make you comfortable. The lobby area has great sitting for drinks or to chill with a drink from the bar. The outside patio has a nice fire to keep you cozy. I highly recommend the hotel for families or business travelers. The service is dynamic and the rooms very modern. Excellent Customer Service, Hidden Gem, Modern Hotel
Great hotel. Excellent location. Very comfortable and clean room. The night's sleep i had when I stayed there was one of the best I'd had in quite some time. I wish they have a free breakfast but it's a great hotel
I was here on business. The room was nice and the hotel overall was nice as far as cleanliness goes. However the customer service was up Marriott / Sheraton normal standards. Usually at check-in I’m greeted and acknowledged for my membership tier. Also, I’m usually told that they will check for a complimentary upgrade. Neither one of things happened. Everytime I walked past the front desk the staff would look at me and not speak ( morning and evening staff ). It was like I didn’t belong there. Also, there was no breakfast for 2 of the 3 days that I was there. There was some snow one of the days so maybe the staff had difficulty traveling to the hotel. To sum it up, I’m just use to better customer service at Marriott locations.
Quality rooms, great cleanliness, no hassles, and great service. Andrew really took great care of us. Only good hotel in Glenmont area. Convenient. Rooms cleaned well. Comfy beds, usually easy to get a room. Good bar and out trying side fire pit area
I had an incredible stay at the four points by Sheraton! The hotel itself was wonderful, Clean, comfortable, and with excellent amenities, but what really made the experience stand out was the bar. Andrew, the bartender, truly made my time their special. He crafted the most amazing vanilla old-fashioned I’ve ever had! The drink was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of vanilla, sweetness, and Andrew expertise really showed. He was friendly, welcoming, and made the whole bar experience feel top-notch. If you’re staying here be sure to stop by for one of his signature drinks you won’t regret it!
I had A fantastic stay at the four points by Sheraton! The hotel itself was great with comfortable rooms, excellent service, and all the amenities you need but the highlight was definitely the bar. Andrew (the bartender) went above and beyond. His vanilla old fashioned was nothing short of exceptional! The flavor was smooth, with just a perfect hint of vanilla, and you can tell he really knows his craft. On top of that, Andrew’s friendly personality made the whole experience even better. If You’re staying here, definitely swing by the bar for a drink, made with care and skill!
The atmosphere is awesome the bartender Andrew is a living legend. The rooms are clean. The food is great and every guest I met has been very happy. I love the pool and I love the gym. This is the place I come to whenever I’m in Albany. not to mention there is a Popeyes a sonic a Dunkin’ Donuts, and everything you need within walking distance this place is amazing not to mention the personality of the staff.
Spent a couple weeks here due to my pipes freezing in my house and an unfortunate accident with my vehicle. However the staff here have been incredible. They have been very understanding and kind and have gone out of their way to make sure my family and I have everything we need and then some. The cook in the restaurant is absolutely amazing! Everything he makes is delicious and perfect. The bartender is fantastic, so kind and funny. When he's not working, a women, Caity, is working, she is absolutely fantastic. Very attentive and goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need and then some. They are both definitely the best waitress/bartender I've had in a very long time. ||There's a heated pool avaliable from 7am to 11pm. The gym is open 24 hours. ||There's several different food/gas stations right in front of the hotel. There's a sunoco, speedway, Popeyes, sonic, a spa/nail salon, glennpeters jewelers. There's a Walmart, lowes, market 32, tractor supply, and a bunch of shopping/restaurant Plaza nearby in delmar/glenmont. ||Very convenient location off the thruway exit 23. On 9w and at the beginning of 787 northbound or the end of 787 southbound.
Great staff. Concierge, Housekeeping, Bar, Breakfast all awesome. Very clean Rooms
Rooms: The rooms are really nice and comes with a microwave which is awesome. Rooms
A clean room, good bed, little noise and kind people. This is what I sought, and what I experienced.
Dont stay here Its loud. Constant noise from the construction company next door. Paper thin walls. Rooms
Ok lets get right to it my check-in was seamless José I believe hes a manage he is absolutely the best he remembered that I usually stay here and I had to extend my stay and there was no problem with hom doing that...Also I had a lavender lemon drop...THE BEST I EVER HAD Andrew knows what hes doing...I definitely recommend this hotel and I would also recommend ordering the lavender lemon drop
Very nice hotel kid friendly a little noisy when there are a lot of kids however the bartender Andrew is amazing he makes an out of this world lavender lemon drop and the cook is also out of this world would definitely recommend
Outstanding hotel gotta eat there and hopefully you have Andrew as bartender. Awesome service.
Food and drinks: Caity makes a uniquely delicious Blueberry Old Fashioned!
Had to drive down from Rochester to Connecticut and need to be there early the next morning. So, I headed out late. Got to Four Points around 11pm. Even though I was the only person there the check in took a long time. I purchased a room and Kenneth at the front desk said I could purchase it with breakfast, so I did. Figured I could eat and get back on the road quickly in the morning. I went downstairs at 7am to grab breakfast. The dining room was dark. There wasnt anyone there. As I turned to leave someone came out and apologized. It was the cook, Shavar. He was very polite and apologized. He said the waiter didnt show up. The poor guy was running around trying to set everything up, while he was also getting the food ready in the kitchen. He was kind enough to serve me some breakfast. Overall, it was an odd experience and delayed me a bit. It worked out OK in the end, thanks to Shavar. Oh, and in my room they didnt have any soap bars. They only have liquid soap in dispensors. The hand soap was just about empty. When I got in the shower the body soap was completely empty. The tissues were empty as well (only a couple of tissues at the top scrunched up). Overall, I have to say that this short stay was not very good. The room is nice, but they need help with service.
Clean Hotel wouldve rated higher if there hadnt been an unexpected charge to my bank account. Still waiting for the refund.
I wanted a new hotel to stay at in Albany as I have been disappointed with others. The rooms were great and the bathroom is fully updated. The shower was spectacular! I had breakfast and it was quite good for a hotel restaurant. Several hotel staff asked if our stay was going well. I will definitely stay there again. Rooms: Nice clean rooms. The decor was very classy.
Clean and quiet. Friendly and accommodating staff. Easy highway access. Would recommend!
Was approved for late check-in. Everything went very well. Breakfast was excellent. Room was comfortable and quiet. I have no idea whether it was above or below average, but nearly $300 for a king or a double room. For downtown Albany that may be normal.
We used this hotel for our wedding room block, the sales team was so helpful getting it set up and the rate was great! Unfortunately, many guests had trouble actually booking in the block and the front desk staff was absolutely clueless. Nice, new and clean hotel, but wish they provided breakfast.
We went for a wedding this weekend and Ayesha, the front desk, girl Andrew, the bartender and Maurice the breakfast. Waiter were absolutely wonderful. The place was clean. They were attentive to our needs. We had a wonderful stay and it was the best place for having large group of people.
We were part of a wedding that had a block of rooms and everyone we spoke to had nothing but good things to say about every aspect of the hotel. The room was clean and housekeeping was very attentive to needs in a timely manner. We were checked in by Ayesha at the front desk, she was very knowledgeable and courteous. We had breakfast in the dining room several mornings and Maurice did an excellent job of meeting our every need. After the wedding Andrew took care of our group at the bar and made excellent drinks and was extremely friendly and attentive. Overall we had a great stay would highly recommend.
Breakfast is great here
Very clean rooms and a true professional staff
Hosted a business meeting. From pre-plan to execution the team was great. Kelsey was lovely and easy to work with. Meeting space perfect for our group size. Hotel is modern and clean. Would host again here.
This hotel was so clean and quiet when we stayed. Our room was large with 2 beds, and it had everything we needed. The customer service was great, the gym was great, and they have a beautiful seating area outside with a fire pit that helped make our stay so cozy. My only complaint is that the coffee wasnt ready in the lobby at 6:30 as noted on the sign, but i think they were waiting for a third party to deliver it. Rooms: Clean, new feel, and quiet.
Should not charge for breakfast especially not Bonvoy members. Rooms well outfitted and very convenient location..
First stay here, Ill be back...sizable rooms with good amenities. Rooms: Sizable, clean, quiet, subdued decor Noteworthy details: EV charging in the parking lot, 4 of them to be exact
I am writing to express my utmost appreciation for the outstanding service provided by Kelsey in facilitating an early check-in for my accommodation. Kelseys remarkable dedication to ensuring my comfort by arranging for my room to be ready one hour earlier than scheduled deserves special recognition. Her proactive approach and exceptional customer service skills truly set her apart as a valuable member of your team. I would like to commend Kelsey for her professionalism and efficiency. Her efforts did not go unnoticed, and I believe she epitomizes the high standards that your company upholds. Once again, thank you for employing such a competent and diligent individual. Kelseys commitment to customer satisfaction reflects positively on your organisation, and I look forward to future interactions with your team based on this experience. Best regards, Fabio Sarrubbo Rooms: Clean and comfortable
Cathy Ann was extremely kind and helped me with an issue I created booking my room online.
We always stay here when we visit family. We love it... I just dont like facing the graveyard.
Hotel was clean and comfortable. Andrew the bartender was amazing! Outgoing and had great music playing from his iPod Classic.
Reserved room for NYSPolice graduation - requested early check in. Arrived at 1:30 pm, was unable to check in - even though parking lot was completely empty-I was told there is not a single room available. After this stay - l will likely cancel my Bonvoy account and look for better hospitality chains. Reserved this specifically so that we could change between events for these ceremonies. Great hotel, good bar with great bartender. Very comfortable, nice service
Clean, cozy, updated hotel in a pretty convenient location. The Speedway next door was easy to walk to for drinks, etc.
Front desk and the gentleman who s work patio and bar really good people I would stay there again and rooms are clean and up to date clean fresh everything
Good hotel in Albany. Convenient and nice Marriot property. View in the back is interesting. Nice bar inside
Great stay
Clean and convenient
Comfortable,clean, and nice people
The rooms were recently updated and nice. There was no continental breakfast. They did offer a limited menu at the bar. Service was very lax and took over a half an hour to get breakfast. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful.
Very clean, friendly dinner & bar service, musician on a Wednesday evening! Newer build, well laid out.
Stayed there for 2 nights The room we got has a problem with the AC and when we complained they said all the rooms like that .. the AC makes lots of noise even if it is turned off. Of course, that made the nights so long, and sleeping right away was impossible. You may want to check somewhere else for the money you will pay here. In addition the room view is cementary :) Rooms: Noisy AC and the view is cementary
The rooms were very nice.
Worst shower almost no flow. Toilet ran all night. The breakfast restaurant had all three tvs playing sounds making a noise that was ridiculous. Will never come back to this place.
Rooms are good, but hotel bar closes too early. Breakfast is not included and expensive. I would at least offer continental breakfast. Location is also questionable, I don t think I ll be staying here again.
Pool was nice and it was quiet Walkability: This hotel is right in a strip mall with sonic, a gas station and Popeyes within 100yds Rooms : 5/5 |
WATCH OUT leave your room dirty (had kids and they left a bunch of garage on the floor I know not right) and be charged 900 U.S. NO DAMAGE TO THE ROOM, JUST WRAPPERS ECT THEY SENT ME PICS. The general manager then proceeded to charge my card without my knowledge or authorization the ridiculous amount. Is this freud? Sure seems like it when they called me originally and said the total for the messy rooms was 150 for each room. Even then I wasnt happy but I paid out of respect. BUT then to go and change an extra 500 U.S without telling me....... not how business works. If anyone wants to see the photos send me a message id be glad to share. Messy but not worth 900 U.S. They also said that they couldnt clean it in time so they charged me roll over fees. THERE AINT NO WAY YOU SOLD OUT! and you HAD PLENTY OF TIME TO CLEAN THE ROOM. Absolute ridiculous excuse.
Small room, 400 a night with no free breakfast. Popeyes and gas stations are walking distance
Great location for Interstates but no sit-down restaurants in immediate vicinity. Rooms were nice, very good mattresses, hvac was bit noisy. Nice bar/restaurant area albeit bit loud due to acoustics. Would definitely stay again. Relatively new hotel. Did not eat here.
Our thermostat got stuck on high heat at 11pm. We had to switch rooms with our sleeping toddler and they refused to give us any sort of compensation for our trouble. We gave them our money for a terrible nights sleep.
Very bad hotel. The front desk person spoke to me with a very bad attitude when I needed help doing a reservation for my family & I. Then she double charges my credit card after telling me to insert my card twice. I ve been asking for the Manager s email or number & she tells me that he doesn t have one ? I finally go to my room & the bed sheets have orange stains & the bathroom had hair all over the sink & then a used tampon in the garbage ?? My family had the wrong room after being told we were put in a double queen room. We all walked out afterwards & I contacted my credit agent to look into this so I can get a refund. Terrible hotel & will not be recommending to nobody.
Front desk end with absolutely wonderful. Thank you, Ed, for all your directions.
Nice people! Clean rooms
Not a fan of the location but the hotel was down right stunning, reasonably priced, rooms were amazing and beds were out of this world, not too mention the service was top tear, would highly recommend.
The new General Manager Jose is just as disrespectful as the old one. I received a phone call from the assistant general manager saying to me that he would like to meet with me & possibly see if I wanted my job back after being terminated wrongly by Todd (the old GM). I was also told that the assistant spoke with the owner of the hotel & they both were on the same page about everything. I accepted the offer & came in 2 days later as scheduled to speak to the assistant general manager & the general manager himself. I thought everything was going fine until the end of our conversation when Jose (GM) told me that he will give me a call the next day by 12pm IF he wanted to move forward with me & that if he didn t want to move forward he will not be calling. I confusingly said okay. The next day comes & it s past 12pm so I called Jose to ask him why didn t he want to move forward with everything ? Because I was under the impression (from the phone call) that I was getting my job back, especially if the owner agreed. Jose went ahead to tell me I told you if I didn t call that I wouldn t be moving forward with you . I then say can I know why ? (Again being confused due to the phone call I received before) He then tells me he doesn t not need to disclose that information with me & rudely hangs up the phone. I then call back to ask if I can have the owners email or number because I am just confused as to why now I am not being accepted back & he tells me he can take my number down to pass on to him & he will reach out to me if necessary. I didn t trust that so I kindly asked if I can just receive the owners information instead so I can reach out myself & Jose denies it. I am kinda glad now that I wasn t accepted back because a General manager that acts like THAT is just beyond unbelievable & needs to be corrected. Not only did I get my time wasted but I also turned down other jobs being under the impression that THEY wanted ME back, not the other way around.
Excellent guest service!
Very inconsistent amenities, poor housekeeping, and paper-thin walls and ceilings. - Housekeeping did not come unless I flagged them down, and even then they did not change the bedsheets and would only leave one new bath towel. - The restaurant was not open during the listed hours due to a lack of sufficient staffing. - Low water pressure in the sink and shower. - Cheap construction: I heard TVs on both sides of me and footsteps at all hours from the guests above me. - Never any regular coffee in the lobby during morning hours; only decaf and hot water. The upsides were a comfortable bed, free and fast WiFi, reliable A/C, indoor pool, working gym, and easy access to the interstates. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of good hotels in this area. This might be considered one of the better ones and thats a real shame and a sign of the lack of service and quality in the hotel industry.
I have an ok stay. One day breakfast was an hour late but I understand the hotel is probably short staffed. What I will say is I was utterly impressed with an employee named Kaneisha. I was waiting SOOOO LONG for some food and for SOMEONE to come and ask me at the dinner area what I would like or need and no one came to my rescue. Kaneisha came up to me asked me if I was ok and she was the BAR TENDER. Honestly thanks to her care I absolutely said yes to a drink and I was very pleased by her attention and my experience. She cares , she pays attention and clearly she was the only one during my stay that made me feel like my stay was worth it. I dont understand who works the restaurant area but they obviously need to hire someone. The bar tender made my drinks so fast and just the fact that she would small talk and ask me how I was doing made me feel like she cared. She deserves to be more then a bar tender in my honest opinion for stepping up! By the way the reason why I gave a three for rooms was because I did not get room service every day. I got It every other day. There is some fun things to do within 7 minutes away. Good location! Food and drinks: Kaneisha was the absolute best and made my stay worth it.
I asked at the reception to call a taxi and get a quote to go to JFK but they limited themselves to giving me a phone number that no one answered.
Clean and comfortable. Hotel staff was friendly and very helpful.
Manager Jose and Ezy were very nice and helpful people- above and beyond! Stayed here for one night, and managed to leave a brand new pair of shoes in my room. Called as soon as I realized, and housekeeping had already set them safely aside at the front. They even shipped them to my house to save me a 3 hour trip.
Cathy-Ann is a wonderful women and front desk associate. Has helped me out for the last three weeks. It s been magical!
I loved the place its very beautiful
Amethyst the sales manager & Sarah at the front desk are both amazing and sweet. 10/10 customer service skills for both of them. The property is very clean and smells amazing.
Classy.
DO NOT STAY HERE! I wish I had read the reviews before I booked this hotel. I stayed here for one night for a business trip. I used my business credit card to pay for the ONE NIGHT. A few weeks later I received my expense report for the trip. I was an additional 1,299! I have tried to contact them with zero success. I m disputing the charge. I will never ever ever stay here again
I was informed last minute that I needed to attend a business dinner that evening. I contacted the Four Points Albany and they had a room and I could check in early do get some work done before dinner. Sarah was instrumental in coordinating this all for me, high floor room, early check in, distance to restaurant for my dinner, etc. I check in, Cathy-Ann was friendly and extremely helpful. I needed a mouse for my laptop and she directed me to the local Staples store. When I returned, she was thoughtful enough to ask if I got the mouse Then, to top it off, I realize today that a religious item, from my late mother, was accidentally left in my hotel room. I called the hotel and Jennifer jumped into action. She immediately searched the room and called me back to say that she located the item. Jennifer then texted me a picture of my Mom s memory to confirm. Thank goodness, she found it and is now sending to me via FedEx. Incredible!! So, in addition to the wonderful staff, the hotel was clean and neat. I travel to Albany quite a bit, this hotel will be my hotel of choice. Thank you Sarah, Cathy-Ann and Jennifer!! Rooms: The room was neat and clean with a very large TV !
Clean room friendly service
Staff very under trained and unenthusiastic. Restaurant never open terrible complimentary breakfast. Staff does not even greet guests properly - especially bonvoy status. Rooms are fine. Clean. Comfortable. Service and amenries terrible though.
The room itself was okay, but our toilet didn t work properly starting close to midnight that night. Someone came, but for the rest of the time the toilet had to be flushed by taking the tank lid off and doing it manually - pretty gross. I was told at our checkout time that we would get some kind of refund, but to call in a day or two. Well, it s been 2 weeks, and no one has returned my 3 calls. Each time I m told the manager will call me back. What kind of customer service is this?
Room is fine, front desk staff was friendly. But for the love of God, how do you not have the restaurant or bar open?! I have been staying at Hiltons for years and decided on a whim to give a Marriott property a try, not the best first impression. Lady at front desk said bar is only open during the week, and restaurant is still closed. Very disappointing for my first stay back at a Marriott, luckily its only for one night. The heck with your BONVoY, I will say BONVoY-AGE to Marriott and go back to Hilton
Stayed there for one night. The room I stayed in was very clean! Staff was friendly. Had a comfy night sleep! Will return if I need a hotel to stay at again!
The highlight of my visit was the receptionist, whose name escapes me at the moment. She was attentive, enthusiastic and warm. She honest, candid and accommodating. Other than her beautiful personality, the location only had one cook who was off on Sundays and Monday,, the bar had two bartenders who called out on the same day, so no bar service, the complimentary breakfast was, forget about it...no acces to the wifi or ability to stream and I got bitten up by bedbugs... and I know the difference because I have treated many homes for bedbugs and know how the bites differ from mosquitoes. Its a great looking hotel with promise but it just didnt work out for me.
Beware of Bedbugs !!
Update: the GM called me back and apologized which I appreciate. I think he ll handle the situation we experienced below. I think the person we encountered is the main issue but the hotel is still accountable for hiring and training their people. Original post: We are Titanium members and stay at a lot of Marriott brand hotels. We came in after midnight and the night worker seemed annoyed from word one. She resisted even giving us a room despite a mostly empty parking lot. After some pleading she agreed but when paying she said she could not take my CC because the room was in my wife s name. This was ridiculous. We asked for her name and then she ducked behind the desk and pulled her name tag off. Naturally we argued back and then she kicked us out of the hotel. My wife took a photo of her then the worker took out her phone and videod is while she screamed at us while escorting us out. We remained rational while she called us people like you . It was by far the worst experience in a hotel in my life. The hotel was new and clean and probably fine but the person we dealt with was awful.
At check we were told theres a complimentary breakfast and when we went down it was not complimentary. The business center is a nook in the corner. Hardly room for 2 people to sit down and use the 1 computer. Bonus was our neighbor who had 12 to 14 teenagers partying in their room until 4am. Other than all the nonsense the room was nice.
We had a great experience. Everything worked and was clean and updated, all our family of four required. There is a huge creepy graveyard right there facing the back of the hotel that you can see with Google satellite, but we closed our window and weren t bothered.
Stayed for one night to drop my son off at UAlbany. Room was clean and beds are comfortable. That s as far as it goes here. Upon check - in we were told quite descriptively that complimentary breakfast is included yogurts, muffins, etc. We came down at 9am and found empty coffee urns, and some crumbs next to a random toaster. We as well as several other baffled guests stood around looking for clarification. One worker wouldn t give a clear answer as to whether they ran out or if breakfast was never included. Another worker claimed they called management to ask and he said that breakfast is NOT included. Apparently some staff didn t get that memo. Then why is there a toaster on the coffee counter with crumbs scattered?? We walked to Dunkin Donuts in disappointment and sadly will not return here. I expect more for $225 per night.
Nice stay!
Nice new hotel, however, there is no free breakfast. They are miss leading when they say there is breakfast, because, yes there is, but you have to order from a menu. My first stay earlier this year, they had prepackaged bagels and muffins. I thought they are still taking COVID measures. Then the second time I stayed, they only had items like that sporadically. I asked the front desk if there was breakfast the following day, they said yes, but there was no food. No one dining either. Come to learn that breakfast is not the typical free continental breakfast one would expect in a hotel with this price range. You have to pay. Save a few dollars and go down the road 1 minute. Nice hotel (not as new) and has free breakfast.
Super clean hotel, courteous staff, room had all the expected amenities and more even an ironing board and iron! Super comfy bed and lots of pillows! We really liked the little lounge bar. Perfect place to catch a game and have a drink. I managed to make it to the gym every day and found good selection of machines and weight equipment. The indoor pool looked nice but unfortunately I never found time to take a swim. Parking is free! That s something you don t find often!
I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and my experience with the whole stay was amazing. The bedroom was well lit and clean with spacious bathroom. The pillows and mattress were extremely comfortable. The staff was courteous and helpful. I will definitely stay in this hotel the next time I am in the city.
By far one of the best hotels I ve stayed at! The food was amazing! The food is absolutely amazing Everything I tried was top notched. Service was great and definitely would come back in the future!
The hotel is clean, and relaxing, Best part is the bar and restaurant, Jeremy and Jamal, make the experience at the bar and restaurant second to none, when you have to be away from your family they make you feel like family
The restaurant was really good! Jamal and Jeramie are doing a great job and very friendly guys! Thanks!
Jeremy and Jamal were fabulous. Great to speak with. Jeremy cooked up a mean steak. Thank you guys for an enjoyable stay
I absolutely enjoyed my stay
Nice clean modern hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful when checking in. They have a limited menu and a bar with nice outdoor seating with a fire table, indoor pool and workout room with dumbells, treadmills and elliptical machines. There is places to eat near by easy location to interstates when traveling.
No shampoo, no conditioner, no body wash
A little over priced, guess its because of its proximity to downtown. Building is new so everything in it is also. The man who checked us in (you know who you are former Navy cook on the USS NJ) was fantastic, energetic, extremely helpful and just downright friendly and as one who travels the East Coast a lot I can honestly say its a trait that I dont encounter a good portion of the time!
Johnathans customer service up front was above and beyond always smiling and welcoming great impression for the hotel!
Amazing hotel. Clean and super friendly people no matter how busy. And we showed up at 1am with a full hockey team. Rooms are clean with a microwave and refrigerator. Speedway for gas out front along with Popeyes, Sonic and other retail. No free breakfast but there s a menu you can order from. It does take a little time if they are busy. We look forward to a return trip.
Excellent service
Chef Mike and Sheena were such a pleasure. Full of smiles and made our stay that much better. Breakfast was great. Lots to choose from. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Over all a great stay! Highly recommend!
Safety: Good Noteworthy details: Clean Rooms : 5/5 |
I stayed here recently while in town attending a conference. Overall, the rooms are modern and what I would expect of a Four Points. My overall experience was very disappointing. When I walked into my room, I noticed the carpet had not been vacuumed after the last guest. When I got in the shower, there was a used bar of soap from the last guest that had not been removed. The wall soap dispenser in the shower was empty, something I only noticed after I was already in the shower. Given my experience, I questioned whether my room was properly turned over. Wouldn t stay here again.
Dear Sheraton, This is my second stay within four weeks for Caucus weekend and SOMOS. Though this is new and beautiful the service is horrible. Not because the staff are but because theyre under-staffed in the kitchen. The server is the cook and bartender. This has been my experience for two Saturdays and two different experiences. That is overwhelming when you have large group stays. You should be able to tell your reservation count by the number of staff you have. As pretty as the bathroom shower is. The shower head has one setting thats forceful. I mention this as these are relatively easy fixes that can really change good to great. Thank you for reading this. Rooms: New and sleek. Noteworthy details: Close to Albany legislative activities.
Stay somewhere else - management here does not care about Bonvoy members. Using the tired covid-19 excuse to improperly deny Bonvoy members benefits that they have earned. Had to complain to Marriott which is now investigating this property. Rooms : 1/5
I accidentally left a very important ring and called them after noticing. They retained the ring for me for a few months until I was back in the area. Thank you for doing that. Jason Hayes and his team are amazing.
Nice beautiful, spacious rooms, with a swimming pool.
Beautiful, clean hotel
Great staff!! Nice comphie clean rooms pool open by appointment!!
My room was very clean comfortable, the service was excellent. I will be coming back. Thank you
Clean, comfortable and safe. Located within waking distance of Dunkin and a gas station.
Nice place
They have great service recommend to everyone Thank you for all stuff
Beautiful room, loved the fact that you can stream Netflix on the TV but the shower wasnt great
This felt like a motel. To start none of the amenities are open and this is not listed anywhere on the website or booking pages. Gym is closed. Pool by appt only (so if you re staying one night and don t get there early it s all gone). Bar closed. While the sign at the front says this is due to covid, when pressed since most restrictions are lifted, it turned out to be because they are under staffed. We then get to our room and it s facing a graveyard with large crosses. Not the prettiest sight if you re trying to use this a vacation. We didn t want to face the grave site but when we went down to ask to change our room to once facing the front, we were told no. This would mean they would have to re clean our room (even tough we were gone for 5 minutes) and they were too under staffed to do it. We then asked for a refund, but were told that because we booked through Hotels.com we couldn t get one. She was adamant that if we hadn t booked thru the company s site instead it would be a different situation. ( we then called hotels.com later that week who told us this was untrue. Since we paid at the property the property cancellation rules applied. Regardless, someone lied) Anyways. We ended up staying. We had plans the next day and didn t wand to waste the close to $200 we paid for a stay. Room was ok, but there was dust above the furniture, so it really made us question their cleanliness during COVID. Shower pressure was extra low. Then water spilled on the floor since there wasn t a proper seal on the door. Location it s behind a sonic and next to a gas station on a busy roadway. Close to Albany but definitely not walking distance. Disappointing stay.
Not in the best location for access to restaurants
After a long drive and difficulty finding a good hotel, we came upon this hotel and couldnt be more pleased. They even allowed us a late checkout due to the late hour of our check in. Beautiful and clean hotel
Modern and comfortable. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We stayed just as Covid restrictions were starting to lift. They offered a small bagged breakfast. We had other family members staying at the hotel and they let us gather in the room past the lobby, which worked for us. The hotel has a nice pool, we thought it was closed but as we were leaving we noticed people using it.
I had my mother, who is elderly, stay for the night and she was very impressed with the room and comfort of the bed. Thank you to the staff who made her stay a great experience!
No water pressure. Very difficult for a family of 4 to shower when the shower doesnt have any pressure and the water only trickles out. Very upsetting for a new building and a 3 star hotel
Its a work in progress. Beautiful building, but services are limited.
Its a very nice hotel in New York states capital, which was disappointing to say the least. I thought Albany would offer something more than a quickie Mart/Dunkin Donuts/gas station and a Sonic but then again we were only on the strip where the hotel was and then to a very off the beaten path Airbnb for a backyard wedding with a stable. Due to covid-19 restrictions the bar was not open and neither was the gym but the pool was. They have a lovely outdoor area with an open fire pit just off the bar area. I gave three stars because of the restrictions but the staff was lovely and helpful.
It was alright I just don t like how when I went to go buy water the only thing there, was alcohol and soda. I didn t want soda, I m underage to drink and I m Muslim . Also i they should really have a vent in there bathroom. All in all it was pretty good.
Great stay.
Its a new hotel and their restaurant is closed for now ... have very less optins to eat out .
Hotel is about a year old so all things are new and clean. Beds are comfortable. They were bit short handed but tried their best. Did offer simple grab n go breakfast with a baffle and fruit cup. There is a Sonic next to the hotel for quick bite. The back side of the hotel faces a cemetery, so if you dont like the view ask for the front side. Otherwise its really quite on that side to ensure good night sleep
Staff are nice. But the room we got has an AC problem. It s very noisy felt like having a highway running in your room. When we found the problem at night we didn t want to pack up and change the room cuz it was so late. We had ear phone so we could get to sleep. Room is clean and we suggested them to fix the AC before giving this room to next customer.
Two steps above a fleabag. Nice looking hotel, friendly staff who take care of you, but wont clean your room unless you make a prior request (try and figure that one out), coffee only available in the lobby until 10 AM at the latest, little attention paid to the coffee bar overall shown best by running out of cream during breakfast hours, and breakfast comes in a brown paper bag consisting of a pre-packaged bagel, no cream cheese nor knife to spread it with, yogurt with no spoon, two pats of butter again with no way to spread it, pre-packaged Muffin, and an apple. Oh, and a bottle of orange juice if you want it. Housekeeping pays no attention to cleaning bath drains, dusting beneath tables, cleaning coffee pot caddies, etc.
Very nice place, seems to be a fairly new Place.prices reasonable.
Very clean, large rooms, quiet with very friendly staff. Its a chain hotel that puts a smile on your face.
Prepaid for room through Hotwire. After checking in and leaving a credit card for incidentals like usual there were three pending charges on my card $198 $238 $238. Front desk assured me that the charge would not appear on card. Two days later and the $198 appeared on my card and $238 still pending. Now I have to waste my time contacting hotel and waiting for available credit to reappear.
I am super fussy about cleanliness and this hotel does it right. I hope they keep the same standards once it isnt as new. I also like the new style of shower which uses a ledge so you dont have to see a mass of wet hair in the drain. Also a huge TV. The beds were a little soft for my tastes but the sheets and mattress pad were unstained and fit the bed. Didnt love the grab and go breakfast but at least theyre trying!
$198 charge still on my credit card two weeks after calling hotel and them telling me the charge would be refunded
Rude front desk supervisor, she was very rude to everyone including employees
Its a nice and new hotel. Extremely modern
Have stayed there since its close to family since the other two hotels on 9W are awful. They are opening the COVID restrictions which is good, but still maintaining a very clean atmosphere
It is very modern. They recently opened last year. The room are great, more room to walk, the atmosphere of the hotel are really nice
Not a great experience! The staff was very friendly, professional and accommodating! The hotel was new and very clean and had disinfectant readily available ! There ends the good points.. Please understand, we both travel often as it is part of our business and lifestyle. The room was a huge disappointment ! First...the bathroom did not have a fan...really ??? Plus, it had a sliding door, that left air openings. So, basically any odors in the bathroom were in the whole hotel room....not good. The shower was a trickle of water with very little pressure. There was no trashcan in the bathroom. The room had a divided trash can with two small cans that both were labeled recyclable. We used one for trash. The closet was tiny and the hanging ironing board and iron were oddly placed and infringed on the small closet space. The heater made such loud sounds when it turned on and off that it disturbed sound sleeping. Any conversation in the hallways was clearly heard in the room. For the price, we were not surprised that there was no pen and pad, no menu or hotel booklet, no bottles of water and no instructions for the tv remote. However, there was not even a do not disturb doorknob option. We requested no housekeeping,. yet , there was knocking on our door waking us up. We were so impressed walking in to the hotel....so not impressed as we left
The hotel is very nice and modern and my husband and I were pleasantly surprised. They hit the nail on the head with some things but completely missed the mark with others. The staff at the front desk could use a little more training in professional communication. There is a thin line between being friendly and inappropriate. The front desk staff was the latter. However, other staff members were nice. The room was small but the bathroom was nice and updated. The bedding was clean and crisp and the bed was comfortable. There in an armoir-console type thing in the room that houses the microwave, fridge, safe, iron and ironing board and closet space. There was no do not disturb sign for the door. The hotel advertised a free continental breakfast but there was none available on a Sunday morning because apparently the one person that prepares breakfast called out sick and they had no replacement. Instead they had a grab and go breakfast of frozen bagels that might be in a doomsday prep kit and blueberry muffins. The teabags tasted of coffee. The seating area is beautiful and modern and the gym was really nice and clean. It was a decent stay but we probably won t return.
While the hotel was clean, and beautiful since it is new, it did not have one amenity listed as per their website. We only came to stay so our children could use the pool, which had a closed sign on it for the whole weekend and no explanation. The bar & restaurant were also closed for the entire weekend. All of this without any notice or reduced fee since no amenities were available. Thankfully they could provide a bagel & yogurt for breakfast, but no one plate, utensil, napkin, or water or juice for our children. No management were around to speak to & we were told different stories on the situation from every employee at the front desk. With still no contact information able to be given for management or discounts provided. Unfortunately we wont be back & had some very disappointed children!! The least they could have done was notify us in advance that the amenities were not available, but it was made of no mention the day prior to our reservation when I called or at check-in. I get we are living a world where no one will work, but you dont need employees to have a pool open for swim at your own risk!!!
brand new.
Nice new and clean. Great customer service! He offered the fire pit in the back to us. It was really nice on that cool night!
Very nice stay at this hotel. It is nice and new. The front hotel desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing I wish is that it had some thing in our room to put our luggage on we had to sit our luggage on the floor because there was nowhere to put it. There was a closet there but people that are just traveling through don t really want to unpack their suitcases just for one night so they probably need to work on this other than that it was a very good hotel
The hotel is new and great. Very clean and updated. Lots of options. Water pressure in shower needs improvement but other then that, great place and very friendly and accommodating staff!
Staff is very attentive. Very clean. Does well with COVID guidelines.
Really nice place. Great rooms, fun pool, and friendly staff. Also a really large lounge area in the lobby - perfect for working or having take out. Cant wait to come back!
Very welcome staff. Brand new, spacious hotel. Right off highway so super easy access Free grab n go breakfast of bagel and cream cheese or breakfast sandwich. Very nice pool area. Excellent Covid protocols. Ill be back!
Brand new, nice, clean, friendly staff, nice rooms. Warm nice pool. What can I say, all you need from a hotel a location like this and for a < $100 price point.
The staff was friendly, helpful and overall excellent. The rooms and common rooms were immaculate. And the pool was perfect for a couple kids to play in. Highly recommend!
We had a great experience. Staff were friendly and helpful, it was incredibly clean, room was great. Pool was perfect, and we were able to reserve it for multiple one hour slots. Would definitely stay again!
We havent stayed in a hotel for over a year and felt very safe there. We needed to go to a wake and needed a place to stay. You reserve the pool and get it all to yourself. It seems clean and there are grab bags for breakfast.
Lovely clean facility, friendly staff. Nice pool and amenities.
Brand new hotel. Super clean but decorations are a little lacking.
