Very happy with their service & quickness of getting to my home when my furnace decided to quit on me. And very grateful that they had one in the area for my home. Other places said it would be a week but that would give us heaters. Very reasonably priced as well!
This was the first winter with a new propane furnace and it failed in the middle of the night when the temperature dropped to negative 4 degrees. I called a handful of companies and none were able to come out. I called Best Plumbing & Cooling Contractors and they asked for my contact information and then messaged me to say that there was a $300 “Emergency Fee”. Although that seemed high, I had no other option. The technician arrived within the hour. He told me that he had to leave the truck running with flashing lights. My neighbor, who was also awake with a failed propane furnace, saw the vehicle in my driveway and called to see if I was ok. My neighbor told me to tell the technician to try going outside and warming up the propane regulator. He said he just warmed his up and his heat came back on. I relayed this to the technician, but he did not take him up on his suggestion. At one point he changed the flame sensor but that didn’t fix the problem. He asked me if I wanted to keep the new flame sensor in or if he should take it back out. I said it was fine to leave it in. He continued to try different things and finally after an hour or so, borrowed a lighter and repeatedly put the flame up to the propane coming towards the flame sensor and got it to light. I asked the technician multiple times to please explain what he did. My husband was out of town this whole time and I wanted to be able to explain to my husband what we should do when this happens again. He kept ignoring my question but then finally said if you get it to light up a few times, after a while it will stay lit. When it was time to settle the bill, I was flabbergasted at the price. It was the $300 Emergency Service, plus another $300 Labor Emergency Rate! All together, my bill was $720.79. The description on the bill was flame sensor installed, but again, the flame sensor was not the issue. After doing some research the following morning, it seems that my neighbor was correct and that the first thing you should try is warming up the regulator on the propane tank. It would seem the issue could have been fixed in 10 minutes. I have called and left messages 5 times to discuss my bill with no call backs. I am so confused as to why there are so many 5 star reviews when they won’t even return my phone calls.
The plumber was very respectful, helpful, and kind. Explained options for repairing the issue and the wall afterwards. He did not have a part he needed and went and got it on a Saturday. Don’t get me wrong, cost plenty of money, but at least it’s fixed on a Saturday
First off, Amazing beyond words. Ken, the technician who I spoke with, was not only knowledgeable but made me a priority. In less than 3 hours of our initial phone call my heat was up and running and the service provided was exceptional. If a repair is ever needed in the future I would not hesitate to call. Can’t thank him enough.
Knowledgeable and reasonably-priced. They replaced a direct-vent water heater with power vent for me. I got a few estimates and they were the most reasonable. I will definitely use them again.
Best Plumbing is THE BEST!! We had water leaking into our hallway carpet from what we thought was our hot water heater on a sunday night! KJ was great. He came within an hour as an emergency call because my basement was flooded. My boiler was 30 years old and spritzing water so I had him replace it and he installed a sump pump so I won’t have the flooding again. He worked 2 long days at my house. Thank you KJ and the other technician that worked with him the second day.(Sorry, I didn’t get your name) I highly recommend this company. They are very responsive. If you have an emergency, call them!

I would like to take the time to update my last review of Best Plumbing and Heating and Cooling Repair. I have deleted my last post of my dissatisfaction with the company as the have completely rectified my AC problems without an additional cost to me which I find very commendable and professional. Again, the service tech KJ both times he has been in my home is very knowledgeable, skilled and has fantastic customer service skills. He is very meticulous and I hope that his supervisors know that I never had any issues with his service or skills. I want to say thank you for the Business Manager Rob for calling me back directly this afternoon to speak to me rather than via texting me and/or alternative means of communication. Sometimes, the Best communication is still by phone and in person. I highly would recommend hiring BEST Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Repair!!! KUDOS for making this right! Worst customer service extremely rude extremely unprofessional disrespectful. Landlord made an appointment to check hot water heater system. Which has not been working for several days and I have a child. no one was given a set time for the appointment from the company. I received a phone call and the technician stated is it up stairs down stairs first floor where is it I m on the porch. I mentioned I am on the way I had to leave work to get to my house and as I was approaching the service tech was leaving not even 5 minutes getting off the phone with the technician. I called the company they continued to send me to voicemail. Finally when someone picked up the phone I was given a very nasty attitude and was told to pick a different company and that nonpayment was made and they have a set schedule. When no one had given me a time. The technician was just sitting in the truck starting at me as I am on the porch he looked at me and speed off erratically. This is the worse experience I have ever had with any company and to make matters worse when I called the main line goes directly to voicemail. This is the eighth day and I have to find a completely different company to fix the hot water heater. If these company s don t want to do a job they shouldn t be in business.

Woke up this morning to no heat. Did some research and one of the problems was the thermocouple and pilot assembly. Long story short, I needed a part ASAP that is unavailable in big box stores. Feeling defeated in the Home Depot parking lot, I googled emergency hvac in my area. Most companys went directly to a voicemail, but not with Best Plumbing, Heating and Service Repair. I was able to talk with someone and while not your typical service call, they were happy to help! They had availability of the part I needed and went out of their way to help me get through this chilly Sunday! I would 100% recommend this company and their service technicians, especially in an emergency situation like this one! Thank you so much. I woke up this morning and my house was freezing. I called this company and they were able to stop by within an hour. The technician was very respectful and kind. He was fast in preparing my boiler and didn t overcharge like most other companies would. I highly recommend this company. My family members actually recommend me to call them because they have been using their service for over 2 years and never experienced any issues.

Kenny is AMAZING, and I could not recommend Best Plumbing, Heating and Service Repair more highly! In a world in which customer service seems to be disappearing, Kenny is an ABSOLUTE STANDOUT. He is responsive, incredibly knowledgeable, and seems truly genuine in his desire to help his customers. I returned home (after driving 1,000 miles) to find that my heat had shut off and my house had frozen. I called Best Plumbing, Heating and Service Repair at 4AM. Kenny called me back an hour and a half later and was at my house by 9AM. He had to remove three cracked radiators, get the boiler going, and thaw out the remaining radiators, but I had my heat back on by that evening. Several hours later, once the system thawed out and the heat was back on, I noticed water pouring down one of my basement walls. I texted Kenny again. He came back over at 11PM, found the burst pipe behind a wall, and capped it off. Kenny really went out of his way to help me, and I will not forget it.

It is unfortunate that there is only five stars. Kenny deserves more. He arrived at the job ahead of time. Traveled an hour with traffic to diagnose the air condition system. Found the problem, fixed the problem and charged the most reasonable cost of any air conditioning company ever! Thanks to Kenny the air conditioning is working perfectly.
I requested their service to fix a Sump pump. The guy came and made adjustments to the pump and charged me $570.Two days later the pump stopped working. He want me to pay again the same amount to fix it! As I refused, he hung up on me.
We chose Best Heating because of the exceptional reviews. Ken called up back on the weekend, gave us a quote for a new boiler as ours burned up, dealt with our insurance company and gave us a good referral for related chimney issues. We are so pleased and grateful for all Ken s help! We highly recommend this guy for any service or equipment needs you may have. Contractors like him are hard to find!

Hard to find a good company that will be there 24/7 for its customers, I needed someone to repair my furnace and clean it, service appointment was insanely fast and outstanding work as I m a watcher I now have peace of mind my kids home will be taken care of because I live hours away. Thanks guys!

I am absolutely impressed with the professionalism, knowledge and quality I received. Our boiler was leaking water and flooding our basement. We had a tech onsite within a hour that was able to repair the issue while explaining everything about our boiler in detail. He spent four hours onsite but did not leave until everything was working perfectly. What a great company!
Kenny was immensely helpful and went above and beyond. My water heater broke down. Needed some parts replaced. My home warranty kept me guessing and rejecting my claim for more than 2 weeks. Kenny offered FREE repair and immediately came over and replaced the parts without charging me event a cent!! Really appreciate it, and thank you! On 21 Jun 2020 our central air stopped working. Because the unit is over 30yrs old I figured it would need replacing, probably cost around 4 grand. My brother gave me Kens contact info. LM and Ken promptly returned call. Sent Ken picture of unit. Ken was able to quickly find the problem but warnd me that because of the age there may be other issues which might not be repairable. We tried the easy fix first in order to save me the large expense of replacing the system. The repair was made, I turned on the power, and everything worked fine. Ken was very professional and seemed to care more about taking care of the customer, than trying to sell me something I couldnt really afford at this time. I highly recommend Ken to anyone who needs to be treated fairly and honestly.
Ken replaced a hot water tank for us today and has left us highly satisfied with his level of service. He is very professional, left no mess behind, and answered any questions we had regarding the new tank (even gave us the specs on the tank and showed us how to make any adjustments). Highly recommend and will be using other services his company provides in the future.
