My wife and I purchased a Hyundai Palisade from Lia Hyundai with the assistance of our saleswoman, Cassandra Storm. We are more than happy with the professional service we received from Cassandra and her team. A week after we set up this lease, my wife was involved in an accident where the vehicle had to be totaled out. Luckily, as it seems, insurance has covered everything, and everyone involved was not injured. The following week we were back at Lia Hyundai to get yet another Hyundai Palisade (this time we went with white). We are very satisfied with the vehicle and the service we received both times. Went in to find a reasonable option and met with Mike as my salesperson at the dealership. He was right to the point, direct, honest and helpful. I had an excellent experience purchasing my certified pre-owned 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe Plug-In Hybrid Limited from Lia Hyundai of Albany. After my 2014 Hyundai Sonata 2.0T Limited was destroyed in a traffic accident, I needed a reliable replacement. The Santa Fe was a former loaner vehicle at the dealership, and I feel I got an outstanding price for it. It s packed with safety features, and thanks to the free Tier 2 charger at my apartment, I can commute to work without spending a dime on fuel. In fact, over two months later I m still running on the original free tank of gas from the dealership! My salesman, Faiz Mandozai, was fantastic. He took the time to walk me through all the features of the vehicle, arranged test drives, and went the extra mile to ensure all the accessories from the original package were included. His dedication and advocacy made the buying process smooth and rewarding. I have had many poor dealings with Lia over the last decade. I will describe only my latest one. I had an issue with a broken exhaust pipe. I asked if this might be covered and was told maybe. So I foolishly took it in.... was told that will be $170 (plus tax) for a diagnostic. I responded Really? This would amount to putting it on a lift and telling me yeap its broken... and for that amount of money, I could take it across the street and get the whole thing fixed. I opted instead for a state inspection and that would include their free multi-point inspection. That worked... the car passed inspection and I got an $1100 estimate for an out of warranty repair. I left and took it up the road and got if fixed in an hour for $120 (almost 90% less than the repair estimate and $50 less than their diagnostic charge). I own 2 hyundais and Lia is the closest dealer to me, I end up going there for warranty and recall repairs. This ends up being multiple times per year. Every experience is just painful. Its to the point where I am going to drive out of the county to find a better dealer repair experience. I dont buy from them either for the same reasons.

Love my Hyundai, but HATE that Lia Hyundai NEVER picks up the phone (Sales or Service). Youd think they would be anxious to get new business, service, etc. DONT CALL THEM. Youre wasting your time. I had an appointment to test drive a used Hyundai Tucson. Caitlyn Bendick was the salesperson that I was directed to. She was very nice, and was very nicely dressed as well. As we sat down at her desk, she asked me if I needed something to drink. I thought that was nice. I havent been asked that before when shopping for vehicles. Caitlyn asked me about why I was there. I told her I was there to test drive a used Tucson that I had been looking at online. I said that I wasnt really looking to buy used, but didnt want to lease anymore. My current lease on a CRV was going to be done in April. The used Tucson that I was there for wasnt the color I really wanted, but I thought maybe the payment would be more manageable than buying new. I had told Caitlyn all this while I was waiting for my husband to get there. She asked me what color I wanted, what options I wanted, and about how much I was able to spend. She showed me what the going interest rates were for used and new cars, which some new models had better rates than others. She had me take a new hybrid Tucson out, as it was the blue color I wanted. It was nice, but I wasnt ready for a hybrid. She was able to locate a gas model with the same options, in a slightly different blue, at another dealership. I was impressed that Caitlyn didnt push me towards the hybrid, or to a gas model in a different color. They were able to get the car from the other dealership quicker than we had expected. Caitlyn sent me pics of the car, as well as of the window sticker, when they received it on their lot since I told them I would take it sight unseen. I happened to be in the Albany area unexpectedly that night. I texted Caitlyn to see if it was possible to look at my new car. She was more than happy to pull it out for me with a few moments notice. It was nice to see it in person, especially since the configuration of the interior was different from the hybrid. I liked it much better than the hybrid. I was excited to get my new car, but we had scheduled pick up a couple days later due to both our schedules. On delivery day, the sales manager was running a bit behind with other customers due to computer issues. Again, Caitlyn asked if I needed something to drink. While we were waiting for my turn with the manager, she switched plates and showed me the features on my new Tucson. We also filled out all the paperwork dealing with my CRV lease. Ending that lease early was a seamless process. It was a relief how easy Lia made it. When it was my turn with the sales manager, the process was pretty quick with no pressure to buy add ons. The payment wasnt quite what had been promised the other night. I pulled out the paper with the #s on it, and he was able to fix it right away without any hesitation. I definitely left Caitlyn Bendick, and Lia Hyundai, a happy customer. A couple days after delivery, Caitlyn texted me to see how I liked the car and see if I had any questions. She offered to answer any that may come up in the future. I had 3 different salespeople each of my 3 CRV leases, which was annoying. Caitlyn Bendick is very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. She is a great asset to the business. I hope she has a long career at Lia Hyundai.

I told the service advisor what I thought the problem was, as many people on YouTube posted about the same issue. Instead of investigating it, they went ahead and did a full $700 replacement of a different part that wasnt even causing rhe problem. As the issue persisted, they *then* looked at what I had suggested and determined I was right. Another $500 repair for that. The whole reason I agreed to the initial (and ultimately pointless) part replacement was because I had assumed they had investigated what I told them the issue was and ruled it out. But that wasnt the case. They simply didnt listen to me and were wrong. Update: I emailed the service manager who replied to this google review below and got no response.

I came in twice to test drive a Hyundai Elantra Hybrid. The first time was a scheduled appointment on a Saturday. The sales person that I met with was aloof and was running around and doing other things while trying to get the car for me and talk to me about it. I felt like I was waiting around forever for him to help me. However, Im so glad I made the choice to come back for a second, unscheduled test drive! This time I met with Faiz Mandozai. He was so professional, attentive, and helpful! He was always making sure he answered any questions that I may have had. I decided to buy the car, and Faiz was patient in walking me through the process and communicative about scheduling appointments to come pay the down payment, sign papers, and get everything ready for the pickup. When it finally came time to pick the car up, he warned me they were busy, but he made sure to keep me constantly updated and he did everything he could to keep the process moving and prepare my car for me while I was sitting in the waiting area. Even after I pulled off the lot, the dealership was closing, but I ran back in to tell him that my car wasnt filled with gas. He was so apologetic and rode with me to the nearest gas station to fill my car up for me. He was a great salesperson to do business with! Anthony Blancha was the finance person that I dealt with. He did a great job at making that stressful and repetitive process of signing the finance papers quick and painless. Thank you both for helping me purchase my brand new Elantra Hybrid!

Updated - They just didnt want to allow us to test drive their cars withnan hour before closing. Toyota, Honda, and the MDX dealer had no issues making us feel at home and allowing us to test drive quickly and courteously. I guess Hyundai has so many customers that they dont really need the business... Manager taking One week to respond = us buying a new 2025 SUV from a different Dealer. The last time I was here for service, I vowed never to come back. Since the dealership was redone, and a lot of new people were hired, things have drastically changed. Seeing the good reviews lately, I decided to try it again. I went there 2 days ago for a fuel pump recall service on my Honda Civic. Was very happy not to wait all day long for the repair to be made. Was less than 3 hours. Everyone I came in contact with was very professional and knowledgeable. Huge difference than last time I was there. I will definitely go back. The only thing I was disappointed in was that I didnt get a complimentary car wash. That is a nice touch for customers even though theres no charge for a recall service.

I have never had such HORRIBLE customer Service in my life. I have been a LIA customer for 20 years. Bought/leased all my cars from LIA Toyota. I recently bought my daughter a used Hyundai (private sale) and it needed some work. Took it to LIA Hyundai. They said it needed a new engine, among other things. That experience was fine. I suspect that is because I was spending $5K+. Some time later, the car had a leak in the tire. On June 18, 2024, Brought it to LIA Hyundai, they say its a sensor and there is nothing wrong with her tire. Pay $200+ for a sensor. Two days later, her tire is flat. Call LIA, at least 5 times before I can even get someone to answer the phone, they tell me I cant bring the car in until 2 days later. I cant wait that long so I take it to Mavis Tire. There IS a leak in the tire stem. Mavis fixes it. During that time I also asked LIA to check why the airbag indicator was on. Again, a sensor. They have to order the part. It is now August 10, 2024. I have never heard back from a single person at LIA about the part for my daughters car. I have called them AT LEAST 10 times. Never once has anyone answered the Service Advisor extension. Every time I call, I hang up and press 1 for an appointment. I explain to the person that they ordered a part for my daughters car 7 WEEKS AGO and I havent heard anything and cannot get anyone to answer the phone. They take my name & number and say some one will call me back. As of today, nothing. Yes, I understand that I can just drive over there. Should I really have to do that? I dont even know if they ordered the part! I am in in the market for a new car myself. I considered switching from Toyota to Hyundai.. NO WAY with this customer service would I ever buy a car from LIA Hyundai.. Never **Update as of 10/02/2024** Still have heard nothing about the part for my daughters car that they ordered on 06/18/2024. Its been 4 months and nothing. Its impossible to contact anyone at the Service Department. I see the manager replied to my review. My name on file is Linney, however, why should it matter what my name is? There s a lot of new technology on the Ionic 6 and she patiently went through all of it with me and when I had questions she worked me through it. She was patient and explained things, even though sometimes I was annoyingly persistent. After the sale, there were some questions and issues I needed to deal with, and she patiently help me with them. And the Ionic 6 is an awesome car!

Wait time was over 4 hours for 2 simple recalls, a regular oil change, and an inspection. They failed the inspection stating I needed $3000 worth of work to pass. Afterwards, I took my vehicle to two other mechanics, showed them the paperwork and both said only 2 things needed to be fixed for around $200. This dealership is extremely dishonest and I will never do business here again. A mechanic is supposed to be trustworthy, not greedy.

I had an excellent experience with this dealer. I took my car in to have the axle nuts tightened to stop a clicking noise I was hearing and it was quickly resolved. I also had my 60,000 mile service done at the same time and it went very smoothly. The shuttle service to and from my workplace was a nice bonus too. They also washed my car for me. Overall Id recommend going here for any service needs on your Hyundai. My service advisor was Daryl Cross, he was polite, very informative, and answered any questions I had. Update - May 2022: Service is still excellent here! Just had my brakes done and everything went smoothly. Laura Traudt was my advisor and made sure my car was taken care of and that all my issues were addressed. Update - July 2024: Service is still excellent here! Michael Carpenter was my advisor and made sure my car was taken care of and any service I needed was addressed. Hes always very attentive, polite, and helpful.

My experience with Lia of Hyundai was incredibly disappointing and filled with unnecessary setbacks. Since June 2023, my Tucsons AC has not been working. I have been trying to get it fixed all summer long. On three separate occasions, I had to leave my car at the dealership for several days, which was very inconvenient. The most frustrating aspect was the month-long delay in ordering a needed part for my car. The promised courtesy/rental car arrangement was never initiated, leaving me without alternative transportation. Attempting to communicate with the service manager, Seth Nicoli, is impossible. Despite numerous attempts, my husband and I were unable to reach him, and the dealerships staff refused to provide his direct contact details. They would not give me his direct phone extension. I was placed on hold or transferred. Whats even more perplexing is that despite the fact that it was my car being serviced, only my husbands inquiries seemed to be taken seriously. The ordeal surrounding my cars AC issue was equally exasperating. On my first visit, the mechanic looked at my car and then dismissed my concerns, stating that the AC was functioning properly. On the second attempt 2 weeks later, it wasnt until my husband (who isnt a mechanic and had to do his own research online) suggested a potential compressor issue that they investigated further and confirmed the problem. However, it took an entire month for the required compressor part to arrive at the dealership, and I had to proactively contact them to verify its arrival. Scheduling an appointment for the repair was yet another challenge. The earliest opening they offered was in mid-October, an unacceptable timeline given the circumstances. After multiple attempts and considerable hold times, I was finally able to secure a sooner appointment. My attempts to directly contact Seth for clarification and resolution were consistently met with frustration and no response. At this time, Seth has not returned any of my voicemails. Given the numerous shortcomings and lack of effective communication, I do NOT recommend Lia of Hyundai for any type of service (this was covered under warranty). In the future, I will certainly be seeking service from a more competent and customer-oriented dealership in the area. EDIT: Also, we asked one of the workers to lock our key in the car so we would be able to pick it up after hours/on our own time. The worker replied that they are no allowed to do that anymore because of the high theft/break-ins that have been occurring on their lot. So beware: take your car here at your own risk because if anything happens on their lot, I doubt theyll be willing to help. UPDATE 10/17/2023: I emailed the general manager who commented on my review, no response. It appears like that person only replied to the review to look like she/he cares about their customers. They have no contacted me in any way. No discussion or resolution has been reached. Do not take your car here. UPDATE 2024: I never heard back from anyone. We ended up trading in our Tucson for a Honda and couldn t be happier! Good riddance!!

Went out to test drive two preowned vehicles (with an appoinment) to discover that Lia Group does not clean their preowned cars before showing them. I saw two filthy vehicles that were full of dust, crumbs, and dog slobber on the windows. One car had many small dings, the other had one large dent on the side. Both were late models selling at close to or above 30k. Before the test drive for the second vehicle, I was handed over to a different salesperson who would not permit me to take a 5 minute trip on the highway, saying that he didnt have time and had to get back to meet his sales quota before the end of the business day. When I asked if I could see the first car one more time before I left he said he had already parked it in the lot across the street, implying it was too inconvenient to go get it. I knew he was lying because I went to look for it after I left and found it parked in their side lot a few rows away from the entrance. The whole experience was bizarre and sketch. I have seen a few cars on their site since then that have caught my eye but I refuse to go back.

I would give 0 stars if I had the option. Would never recommend to my family or friends to come here to purchase a vehicle. The whole experiance was a nightmare. Took them 10 days to detail the car and when I got it, it still had stains all over the top of the car. They still haven t taken the car in to redo the detailing, I bought it a month ago. Financing day was a nightmare as they had pre filled out all my documents before actually speaking to me so everything had to be rewritten while I was there, took hours. When they brought the car out my driver mirror was super scraped up by an employee. They initially tried to tell me, oh no it was like that . Why would I purchase a new car with a banged up mirror? Then offered to fix it, which also still hasn t been done. For all the inconveniences they offered weather mats, which I have received. Now, as of late, my previous bank institution is calling stating they have no received payment from the dealership for my payoff. This Wednesday will mark 30 days of a late payment since it hasn t been paid off. I ve left voicemails for managers, finance. With no returned calls, although last Tuesday I was reassured via the sales person that the pay off was taken care of. So now in 2 days it will be reported that I haven t paid a car payment for a car which I do not have and nobody has taken care of. save yourself the trouble and go anywhere else.

I bought a certified Hyundai from them, and the experience has been awful. The first time, I took back with a problem. They would not even look at it and accused me of doing v something to it myself. I had to change a few parts already, and it is still not running right. I had to take it back to another Hyundai dealer, and thank God at least they are nice to deal with. I would stay away from them.

Bad unprofessional dealership. Called them to inquire about a vehicle, they kept insisting in coming in to showroom which I can t due to time constraints. So I politely asked to send some quotes for vehicle. First time, a woman stated she will transfer my call and sent me to a line no one was available. Second time guy hung up on me. And then they blacklisted my number. I tried calling test of the day and they didn t pickup my phone call because I requested quote over email. Stay away from predators like this dealership who will intimidate and rip you off when you go in person.

If I could give zero stars I would. Buy a car from Lia Hyundai? Sure! Great experience! Service a car at Lia Hyundai? Never again! I pulled in for my 8:45 appointment at 8:40. Service rep said he d have me out in an hour. Over 2 hours later I had to approach the guy saying my keys had been on his desk for over a half hour and he got frustrated with me! Yeah, awful customer service! Update... My sunroof broke on my Palisade (common problem apparently but no recall) sucked it up and went to Lia for a quote. First, I spoke to corporate whos been trying to reach Lia Hyundai for several days now without a return call. At least corporate is trying to work with me. Lia is trying to charge me almost $4200 (before tax) to fix the sunroof. $2800 for the part, the rest in labor. I found the part from the Hyundai OEM site for $1930! Book Labor is between $625 and $875. And Lia is quoting me almost $4200?!?! Disgraceful. Im having an autobody shop do the job for me for $2100...using a used sunroof. Lia also quoted my 4200 off a trade in. Went to 3 other dealers to see if they could beat it and every single one did by at least $1200. One guy said, he couldnt believe they were taking the retail fix price off the trade. Weve purchased 4 cars from Lia owned companies...never again(ha, Ive said that before). Im not sure what happened or its just Lia Hyundai, but theyve gone downhill.

Terrible experience in leasing. First they tried to bait and switch a special they were offering. I took a screen shot of their special and when I mentioned it to them the price was changed on their website. The sales manager was upset that I had provided the screen shot and agreed to the original deal. Everything was supposedly fine until it was time to pick up the car. They said that the credit check was never ran and when they ran it the day of pickup we did not qualify. But no courtesy call that there were any issues. STAY AWAY from this dealership.

On my boyfriend s only day off of work, he drove to Albany with me (an hour from me) so we could look at cars. I was very serious and interested in a car. We walked the lot for probably 15 minutes before anyone even approached us. I sold cars & my boyfriend currently sells cars, & we were both quite shocked at how long it took for someone to approach us. But it was the last day of the month so maybe they were super busy. So finally we get approached by a gentleman. Very nice man, asked if we needed help. I said yes and quickly pointed out what car I was looking at. He asked me pretty direct questions right away that I didn t want to answer since I wanted to simply drive the car. But, we answered them & waited for the key. We probably waited 10 minutes outside before we decided to go inside to see what was taking so long. The same man saw us, smiled and kept walking. a few minutes later told us a different sales person would help us. (Not sure if he even would ve came out with the key if we didn t go in). so then we got re directed to a sales girl who also took awhile to get us the key. So after 2 sales people & 25 minutes of waiting we finally got to test drive it and loved it. They were super busy and I knew I couldn t buy the car til the next day so i figured i d call back the next day, even though I didn t get any contact info from anyone. they seemed extremely careless actually. So the next day , I called to make sure the car was still there. the woman answered & transferred me to someone who didn t answer the phone . I called back again & a different woman answered, transferred me to the sales manager who also didn t answer. So I called probably another 15 times waiting for someone to answer. No answer. Then my step mom right next to me called. & an answer on the first try? When a sales woman finally got ahold of me it was very short and sweet. It honestly seemed like they didn t even care to have business . If i didn t like the car so much I would ve never even called them . (I searched all around for the same car) I did however end up going to Steet Toyota & also Steet Mazda & they were SOO welcoming & helpful. As a sales agent myself I will actively let everyone know how absolutely awful and unwelcoming the service is at Lia . Proceed with caution for sure .

December 2021: I had a great experience here. Everyone who I worked with including Jimmy, and Franklin and the service dept for answering all my questions. Thank you. Update: today is 3/25/24, and I was in the dealership on 3/16/24. I m still waiting for a call back from the finance manager. I was curious about trading my Santa Fe in and I understand it may be a bad deal from the bank or too high of an interest rate but at least a phone call back would be nice. our experience wasn t good at all ended up leaving and going to Matthew s Hyundai. communication on Lia s end was horrible telling us 15-30 minutes then us sending an email around 2 hours later not hearing anything back until the next afternoon. giving us a financing payment of around 600$ on the phone then in person giving us nearly 900$ a month. didn t give us any time of day nor trying to find us anything. we wanted to look at the 2024 Hyundai Elantra SEL and to test drive it but before letting us test drive gave us financing options that was nearly 300$ a month more than we were told. in summary we left bummed and tried our luck at Matthew s Hyundai. At Matthew s we brought home that same night the 2024 Hyundai Elantra SEL not paying what Lia Hyundai told us, actually treated like a person and just an overall pleasure there compared to here. Matthew s actually tried compared to Lia as well. we won t be recommending Lia to anyone because the whole experience was horrible as if they did not want to deal with us at all unlike matthews who pulled every possible string to get us what we want without paying 900+ a month!

Buying a new car can be stressful. Searching for hours, weeks and months doesnt lower the level of stress. What does lower the stress is walking into a car dealership, and having a competent person meet you at the door. That person was Cassandra Storm. Her approach from the onset was pure honesty. Throughout all our discussions, over several days, she was totally knowledgeable about all aspects of the electric vehicle we were interested in buying. Never did she state a fact that was untrue or vague. It was nice communicating with someone who was reading our facial expressions, and in some cases taking the time for further explanations. My wife and I could not be happier with the way Cassie made sure we were in full understanding of some of the sophisticated electric capabilities of the vehicle we were purchasing. He made the whole process really easy and painless (even though my husband and I had been dealing with a whole mess of insurance claims and accidents on both our house and car that I think made us appear really chaotic), and we never felt pressured or secretly sold anything. Unfortunately I was rear ended recently and my Sonata was totaled. However, I would like to give my Sonata one last 10/10 review. Even though it was totaled, me and my two young boys were unharmed. After doing some research I decided to go back to Lia to test drive a Tucson Hybrid. It is absolutely the perfect car for my needs. Karen Kingsley was amazing to work with. Unfortunately the service department is extremely understaffed and it takes over a month to get an initial appointment and then find out they might have to order a part. The Hyundai warranty is attractive but they do not back it up with service. Also they reached out to us telling us our car was do for service at 5000 miles, made an appointment and then told when we arrived that it should have been 7000 miles and if we did it then, we would have to pay for an additional service before 14000 miles to keep the warranty valid. Not a good experience and we would probably not use them again.

The worst car buying experience I could ever imagine. Bought a car and then got completely ghosted for weeks and weeks because they lost my spare key. They told me they ordered me a key and then 2 weeks later told me it was in when it actually wasn t and what they actually wanted was for me to resign a contract. They then told me it would be another 2 weeks. Sure enough that time has gone by and still nothing. I texted the sale manager before I left that day because he told me he would be in touch with me personally so it got handled. Two and a half weeks later I text him again asking for an update and he never responded. Spend your money elsewhere, where they will actually treat you like a human and not just want your money!

Service department is terrible! Bought a brand new Santafe last year, sale department is pretty good but when something went wrong with the car eventhough under warranty end up has to pay $150 for a diagnosis fees which took them almost 2 weeks to figure it out that it was a dead battery! (I spent small fortune for a rental in the meantime). No one really answer the phone when left messages, no one calls back. When finally spoke to someone, I brought up the concerns, they turn it around like Im the problem!! I have a free oil change for 36000 mile and Im not even going to take it there, I rather pay Jiffy lubes than return to that place! Just incase the owner read this, I buy a new car every couple of years and I know for sure Lia Hyundai is not going to be the one I return to. My first and last car there. You can keep my $150!!!

The service people emptied my dash board. $7 is not too much cash but they did steal additional Canadian currency I collected from my visit to Montreal and some Indian currency as well. I threw in a couple of old wallets with expired CCs and insurance cards in my dash board. They emptied contents from wallets into the dash board. I have no clue why people who have to work on my car externally had to open up my dash board and search for cash. Are all service centers like this or just this one? After visiting 4 or 5 other dealerships and test driving their all electric vehicles, it was not difficult to choose the best salesperson selling the best vehicle. Karen Kingsley from Lia Hyundai was the epitome of low pressure sales. She presented the attributes of the Ioniq 5 (and the issues), asked for questions and then sent us on our way unchaperoned. How refreshing. We had a chance to discuss the vehicle and pros and cons and, of course, the price. The dealership is modern, clean and FRIENDLY. UPDATE 1/30/2024: The check engine light comes on 1/9/2024 for a misfire in cylinder 1 get it changed yet again (mind you this is its 4th misfired cylinder in a year now) not even two weeks later the check engine light comes back on, I bring it in, and they cant get it to stay or show a history. Was also told I only have 20,000 more miles before my coverage is up on it. So now Im frustrated because the car should be refunded completely or replaced completely at this point. Hyundais owner will respond on here but not actually call or email back, the service department will literally do nothing to fix this at all. Lia sold us the car; they need to make this right. 5 misfired cylinders and its always the same ones. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE. THEY WILL BREAK AND DO NOTHING TO FIX THE ISSUES. Their customer service is rude, blames the customers, gives no real fixes, and theyll never have a loaner car making it impossible to bring your car in to be fixed due to how long it could take to fix an issue. Looking into fighting for this, I will not give up. Brought my car in to get looked at due to an antifreeze leak. Not only did I get an attitude the entire time from staff. Which I have every right to be pissed, it s been less than a year since a new engine at 55,000 had to be put in and they used my old hoses instead of replacing them with new ones. And to be told a hose that s $20 on their OEM part website is $20-$80 is trying to charge me $1,200 for parts and labor. Went to a local garage they said they d do it for $150. The price gouge is ridiculous, so I tried calling last week to get part numbers for my warranty, and for the local garage they said their system was down, no call back. Called back again today and was told they d call right back, again no call back. How this place has any business with their rude service advisors and management is insane. I can tell you my car has 14 repairs needed since April 2022. They will sell you a garbage car and take no responsibility for it. They ll blame all your problems on you as the customer and rip you off while they do it. Save your money, and time do not go here. This place can t get their act together.

Sooo .. I posted here before but had to get rid of the review in order to post another!! I had problems with my engine and brought it to get serviced not once but three different times for the same issue and each time the service department had my car for months leaving me with nothing! They claimed there was nothing wrong the first two times after running test, the third time I brought it in for the same issue they had my car for 2 months solid and my converter was stolen while on the lot!! After the new converter was put in they claimed they fixed my engine, turns out the check engine light came back on flashing, mind you they denied me a motor claiming it was in tip top shape..having such a go around with Lia Hyundai I contacted customer care they recommended bringing to a different dealership! Fourth time for the same reason at a different dealership turns out there was damage in the inside of the motor, seems to me like I was lied to multiple times! After talking with customer care and supervisors I was granted a new motor due to the damages in the motor that lia claimed to be fine! So with that being said I suggest you think twice before purchasing a car from the lia dealership try another Hyundai dealership before you end up getting screwed around like I did! Multiple car payments for a car I couldn t even drive plus unwanted miles.. terrible customer service!!! They like to take your money but won t help you fix your car needless to say I have a two year old that I transport to daycare so I can work, if they ll lie to me and put me and my child in an unsafe car imagine what they will do to you!!!

Our Hyundai which had been faithfully serviced and all recalls done s engine seized and failed to accelerate while we were driving down the thruway- come to find out we are one of thousands with the exact story. Google Hyundai Kia Engine Issues, the stories are plentiful. Hyundai corporate itself had a website where we could plug in our VIN and see if we were part of a class action lawsuit settlement- we were- the dealership we had been faithfully involved at failed to honor corporates promises and corporate kept giving us two stories/the runaround. We eventually gave up and junked the car- we are lucky we got 100k miles out of it, there are so many stories of Kia Hyundai engine failure at far less mileage. I will never buy a Hyundai or Kia again, and I ll never go to a Lia dealership again, truly.

For I believe the 7th Hyundai I have purchased from Lia Hyundai, I had a seamless experience. This place is bad. Purchase a vehicle from them a few weeks ago and have only put 300 miles on the vehicle so far. Already has a check engine light on. After purchasing the so-called bumper to bumper warranty Im told that I have to pay $160 for a diagnostic and whatever the cost is to fix the windshield wiper fluid dispenser that was broke when I picked up the car. Its nice to know that you dont stand behind the vehicles that you sell only 300 miles later . On top of that, the in-service vehicle contract wasnt written properly and they have the odometer reading at 4000 miles higher than what the car actually has. Not sure thats legal. But I think its a really great attempt to try to shorten my warranty by 4,000 MI. On top of that dealing with the salesman Wayne was a horrible experience. Every time I speak with that guy its a different song and dance. Ill call you back in 5 minutes and then you never hear from the guy again. Hey sign the paperwork and buy this vehicle and well get you a ride up here to take it home. Only to sign the paperwork and then Wayne tells me the guy thats definitely going to give me a ride isnt even working that day. Need the paperwork for my insurance company so I called Wayne he said he was going to get back to me at 5 or 10 minutes. The next day I still hadnt heard from him and decided to call him. Well within 24 hours he couldnt get me a definitive answer so I spoke with one of his co-workers who walked over to the service department and got a definite answer and handled the whole thing in 10 minutes. So far dealing with this place has been nothing but a joke and a bad experience. I will not be returning here to purchase another vehicle. And as far is going to diagnostic test on the lady told me it takes a few hours which is really strange because it takes pretty much no other mechanic on Earth more than a few hours to run a Diagnostic test. And they dont do diagnostic test on Saturdays for whatever reason. So being that it takes a few hours I told the lady I wanted to make a 2:00 appointment because they close at 6:00. And then all of a sudden and now it takes even longer to do the diagnostic test and they dont know if they can get me out of there by 6:00 p.m. Are are you serious?? 4 hours isnt enough time for you to run a diagnostic test? Asked to speak with the general manager on 3 occasions. Upon doing so you get sent to a phone that doesnt ring, go straight to the voicemail, and the voicemail is always full. This place is a complete joke in every aspect. And to be fair, Wayne did finally call me back. When I told him I was going to call the general manager he did call me. And then when I messaged Wayne later that day and I told him that I was going to be writing a negative review and that he would be mentioned in it, and then he called me back right away. In less than 3 minutes, Wayne was able to call me. Its funny how that works. Call two different Hyundai dealerships today and got quotes from both places, and both are $100 cheaper just for the diagnostic test. Ill be doing my business with a different dealer because this place is mostly liars and apparently a big ripoff as well. Update. Received a response from the general manager who said to email him. Well, I did email him 6 days ago and still havent heard anything back yet. Not surprised whatsoever. This is exactly the type of service that you can expect from Liar Hyundai. I mean Lia.
