Every time I call, theyre confused about whaich club Im in. Every. Single. Time. First, yes. You are my club. I live in a rural area. Get over it. Second, why does it matter? You cant even read a page on the website without being redirected to AGAIN enter your address. Working with an outdated business modelm Youre a NATIONAL organization. Act like it.

They refused to come to service my vehicle. What the hell am I even paying for? Useless and rude.

Called at 5:41 am and was told an ETA of 6:50. Called at 6:50 and was told an ETA of 7:13. Called at 7:11 and was told that a driver was never dispatched and that they ll be here at 8am. I believe them this time because I finally got a text but this is crazy

Super nice people. I get my international driver license here every year. Just a note, their passport photo background did not come out pure white so I could not use their photo for my EU passport. US passport photos allow off white so it should be fine. Best prices on those photos if you can use them. Again, the employees are awesome! Keep up the good atmosphere!

Terrible service not enough trucks

Run from this place. This place is a joke.

On July 1, 2024, I called AAA for a tow at about 2:40 pm. It was one of those hot humid days and I was stuck on the roadside, no shade, with my five-year-old grandson. In the initial call, I was told that Id receive a call back giving me an approximate time of arrival. It wasnt until 3:18 pm that I received that call telling me it would be one hour. At 4:18 another call came in telling me it would be another eight minutes. at about 5 pm, when the truck still had not arrived, I again called and was told by the agent they had NO ESTIMATE of when I could expect help, and that he had no idea which other agent would have given me the other previous estimates. He made no apology to me for the mix-ups or the extended wait time and, in fact, was rather curt and uncaring. When I expressed my annoyance with the service, he threatened to cancel my service altogether. I believe he relented only because I told him if my grandson became ill from the heat, I would sue him personally, as well as the entire Hudson Valley AAA office. It was still not until 6:30 pm that the service truck showed up.

I had a flat right near AAA parking lot. I pulled into the lot and they came out and fixed my flat on the spot. They treated me like a princess.

Each time the staff is very nice, helpful, and efficient!

One word: WOW I have never been so impressed by a branch of AAA before. We moved here in Feb from a mega-region that has their own everything, and basically takes over your browser and phone app and doesnt let you join another region. I was frustrated beyond belief as I had figure out what was happening in my browser, but as hard as I tried the app wouldnt switch. I sent an email clearly showing my frustration and I was going to drop AAA forever as I couldnt access local services/travel. Next thing you know, Tara is asking me to come in for help. Personal help- didnt know that existed anymore. The IT person came in, showed me how to fix it, I was given an umbrella, my dog got her own AAA Card for a tag- barcode and all. Tara also set up a pet photo session. Everyone was so kind and just the feel of the branch is positive and welcoming. Is there a way to give 10 stars? I seriously cannot convey just how amazing this place is- good, old fashioned way of helping members. Wow.

I tried to cancel my membership today and was told in order to do so I need to mail back the membership cards. The problem is I never received the membership cards as it was lost in the mail. So I m stuck paying for a service I don t want or need. And someone else has my cards and apparently is able to use them. The entire process to cancel is archaic. Funny how signing up is so easy and can be done on line quickly and canceling involves a phone call and sending mail. The woman I spoke to on the phone was rude and just kept telling me to mail back cards I don t have. Also they charged my credit card 21 days before my membership even expired. Frustrated and annoyed and will be disputing the charge with my credit card company.

MD Khan is an asset to AAA. I hit a pothole and got two flat tires tonight (call 159). MD Khan came and put the spare on the front tire so my car could be towed. He was friendly, professional and waited until the tow truck arrived. He definitely understands the meaning of exceptional customer service and is a true professional

I blew a tire on I-90 this past Mothers day and had to deal with this grossly incompetent group of dispatchers. Ben was extremely condescending, rude and above all grossly incompetent. It took 5 times for me to explain my location even though I provided him with the exact mile marker, route number and direction all 5 times. The second dispatcher I talked to, Noah, was also extremely incompetent and rude and even hung up on me the second time I spoke with them (while I was stuck on the side of the road). To make matters even worse, they told the tow truck driver that they dispacted to give me a hard time (Im not kidding). This prompted him to make violent advances towards me, my sister and other drivers once he arrived (which I have on dashcam). Because of this, I had to call the NYSP because of his erratic behavior and then ended up paying out of pocket for the tow even though my sister who had a valid AAA membership was with me. Would not reccomend AAA of HV or any AAA, Good Sam is a far better and more competent alternative for those who do lots of driving like myself. Many of family members in the capital region are now switching to Good Sam due to the absolutely unacceptable and frankly malicious experience we had.

I ve been using AAA for years, but recently moved to Ulster County so switched to the Northeast Branch. When I called to have a battery *replaced* they informed me they no longer offer that service post covid. I mean, besides the occasional jumpstart (which can be solved by battery replacement ) or a rare occasional tow, what is the point of this service? What am I paying the same price for, but receiving less services and benefits? Like every other corporation in America, they raise prices and cut services. AAA used to be a great insurance and service, but now it s a waste of money. I ll save that $100/year and save it for the one time in my life I may need to be towed.

The ev charging station are always off during regular opening hours. Yes all 4 of them. So when is it supposed to be on? And I m a current AAA member. Update: my membership expiration date is 06/30/2023. So check your facts AAA.

i completed my 5 hour pre licensing course today and i just had to say linda was an absolute doll ! absolute amazing teacher , she was so patient , encouraging , and overall a sweet , kind soul ! she made the course very engaging and made it a fun yet educational experience ! she definitely opened my eyes to being safer on the road , and making better decisions at times . highly recommend taking your 5 hour through this place !

I always have a great experience at the AAA store. I came in there one time to renew my membership, and it was then that I discovered you could speak to a travel agent on how to book flights, get maps and even directions on a car trip I was planning. So much more than just the road side that they are known for.

I ve tried Charging My vehicle at this location numerous times. The chargers remain off. Also I called and spoke to Tracy she said they are off because the chargers are tripping their breakers. Would not recommend this location at all

I found myself stuck on the side of 787 last night (6/29). Called AAA Hudson Valley and the experience could not have gone more smoothly. After an initial wait on hold, Victor processed my information quickly, prioritized my call due to where I was parked and kept me updated as to when the tow truck, which was driven by Tyrone, would arrive. Tyrone was equally professional, securing my vehicle on the flatbed and bringing it to my preferred repair shop. Both Victor and Tyrone did a great job. Thank you.

Honestly for being a member for the last 5 years I have to say I m very disappointed in AAA s customer and Emergency road service. They have been going downhill I definitely will not be renewing my membership next time around much easier and faster to call a legit tow company

Was flat beaded to a rest area in Kingston. Was told they couldnt drop the car off for 2 days and wasnt allowed in the truck with them. I was still 50 miles. Away had to call for a ride.

Called for a tow at 6:30pm. Was told everything was set and they would arrive by 8:15. Received text notifications of the time being pushed back over an hour and a call to inform me of delays. By 9pm I received a text stating my call was dispatched. By 10:30pm I called for an update, gave my info, was put on hold just to get another representative and had to repeat the process. I was told dispatch would contact me in a few minutes. An hour passes, I called again. This time I get a man with no desire to do his job at all. He put me on hold for 5 minutes with every piece of information asked for. He finally tells me dispatch will contact me when I asked if they ll actually do so, because I d like an update, he gave me attitude and hung up on me. Im appalled at the customer service in the eastern NY region. No one I spoke to had any care in the world for what Im dealing with or cared to actually help me. It s now midnight and I m still without a tow, and was just hung up on for a second time. At this rate I don t believe they ll ever actually show up. What a horrible company and horrible way to treat customers who pay for a service just to be treated like garbage.

Some of the best and fastest service I ve experienced at any business. Friendly, answered all my questions and was able to get my international driving permit in under 10 minutes! Would definitely recommend.

In March 2022 a dispatcher named Matthew had left me and my car stranded overnight three hours away from my home as I had told him that I was trying to travel back home for work in the morning and needed a tow since my transmission blew. He immediately became hostile and flagged my account for no other dispatcher to help me get out of my situation what so ever and was extremely rude and disrespectful during this stressful time trying to get home. I had discussed with Matthew that I had my car checked at a mechanic and I told him I had a receipt and still refused to bring a tow to me and accursed me of stealing property even though I told him I could provide a receipt (which I still hold to this day). I hope I never have to deal with this branch ever again and I hope Matthew has received proper training to deal with customers in a stressful situation because no other customer should deal with high hostility and arrogance that I had to tolerate.

So called travel agents were horrible.

Called for a tow yesterday Friday the 13th around 4:30, pickup location was caliber collision. I wait about 40 minutes for the tow truck to even be on its way, then i wait another 20 before i get a call saying they need to confirm with caliber that i have no existing charges or bills, which is understandable. They then call me back after caliber closes and then tell me that they cant have my car towed because they cant reach anyone there. So i try everything i can to explain that i didnt have my car looked at by them and didnt have them do any work, like getting the key back from caliber with a tag on it from them but no the person on the phone wasnt having it, i even asked if i can just drive it off there property and if they can pick it up then, and said no that they need to call back when there open which is on Monday. Thanks for wasting my time and the tow companys because you guys dont call right away to confirm you can pick it up. Now i have to wait 2 days just so i can get my car towed because caliber isn t open on the weekends.

If you haven t considered AAA for your travel plans, you re missing out! They take care of all arrangements and you enjoy your trip without worry!

Do not waste your time with AAA Home and Auto Insurance. My insurance with AAA started off as MetLife, is currently called Farmers Insurance, but I sign in to a site called Foremost when I go online for my policies. So steer clear of all of them. I had a 40% hike in my premium between years. When I called to inquire why, I was told my rates had to go up to subsidize the cost of an increase in other peoples claims. And also, Inflation. 40%!!!!! I have never filed a claim on my insurance or gotten any sort of traffic ticket in the entire time I have been with them. My Homeowners limits only increased by 8%. Im being robbed! There is no support option to email or chat with AAA. The Main Directory is clunky, static-y and migraine-inducing awful. When you do talk to someone, if you get transferred you find yourself right back at the Main Directory where you didnt hear any options that applied to what you were calling about in the first place. I dread it but I will definitely be shopping for insurance elsewhere, I have never had a rate increase as insane as this. Id actually be better off if I stuck with my prior insurance company, AAA has officially blown them out of the water. 40%!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely a 10 out of 10 for all of your insurance needs. The staff at this agency go above and beyond to make sure your policy has you, your family and those prized possessions your insuring covered. They go above and beyond to try and match your accurate needs with a customized policy that is actually what you will need in an emergency as opposed to a one size fits all policy that in an emergency could leave you stranded. I switched my renters policy not that long ago, ended up paying less and obtaining accurate coverage that was better then what I was paying previously. They explained everything in detail to make sure I fully understood what options I had and were happy to answer a million different questions without hesitation. If your looking for Auto, Renters, Home Owners or even Pet insurance... This is the place to go. They actually care and will be transparent with you. Sometimes only focusing on the bottom dollar, you loose sight of the big picture... but absolutely worth having them run the numbers to see if they can save you some money or get you better coverage for the price your already paying!

I walked in without any appointment and was greeted bi Joanne with a warm hello. Joanne was so helpful and very informative. I felt at ease working with her. I felt like I was in good hands with her. 01/26/24 MY DAUGHTER NEEDED A TOW AFTER A SMALL FENDER BENDER. SHE WAS REPEATEDLY TOLD HER ACCOUNT HAD BEEN CANCELLED AND SHE DOES NOT HAVE AN ACCOUNT. I PAID HER MEMBERSHIP IN AUGUST OF THIS YEAR!!!!! DUE TO THEIR INEPTNESS SHE HAD PAY OUT OF POCKET FOR A TOW JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TOTALLY STINKS!!!! WOULD BE NICE IF SHE WERE PAID BACK FOR THE TOW JOB.

I ve worked with Jeannette Sheehy of AAA Hudson Valley to help me obtain home insurance coverage on a property in 2017, and enjoyed the experience so much that I used her again for insurance coverage on another property five years later! Jeannette is professional, detail-oriented, courteous, and personable. She has a sincere interest in her client, which is evident in her diligent follow-through to insure you get the best possible coverage. I trust her and her team at AAA Hudson Valley, and will continue to use them for any of my insurance needs.

They have so much information & advice.

I discovered that for international travel to certain destinations, you need an international driving permit in order to be able to drive/ rent a car. AAA is one of those organizations that provide the document. I called up the office and a woman banned Sharon was very helpful in answering my questions, and at the office itself, another woman named Chris efficiently and in a very friendly manner helped me get what I need, including a passport photo.

I have had to use AAA Hudson Valley s roadside assistance twice now, and both times, someone arrived within 15-20 min and my situation was professionally resolved in under an hour. This efficient and courteous service is much appreciated!

7/20/21 update. There is no change to the decidedly EV unfriendly position of this club. Chargers for the most part remain off. EV charging is listed as a club benefit but they have turned what should be a positive experience into a negative one. Small minded management. ----------------------------------------- I would like to ask, why wont this location turn on their Tesla destination charger? Public funds were used as tax breaks for triple A, but this location feels no obligation to maintain the hardware so it may be used. I have alerted the staff a number of times, but it has become obvious they have no intention of fixing/turning on the charger

I ve been sitting in my location stuck for 2 hrs. There was a supervisor name Desiree who was very rude on the phone, was yelling at me telling me they can not come to this location and hung up on me. Talked to several people there and everyone made excuses for her behavior. Currently still waiting for assistance,, I pay for roadside assistance and I get none. The worst place to deal with.

My membership ends on August 31, they automatically renewed my membership without my request, so I asked them to cancel it and refund my money taken from my card for the new year, since I am no longer a driver. They told me to deliver the card in my hand, so I delivered the card for 2022. They said they sent the card for 2023 and they cant cancel it without returning it. But unfortunately I dont have the card for 2023. After the membership cancellation appeared in the system, I couldnt understand why this card is so important.

My experience was far from fast or friendly, I called for assistance on November 20th to waited two hours in the cold. When the AAA staff showed up with an empty flatbed I was shocked to hear that he would not tow me because his dispatch order was just to check for lack of gasoline. I explained the AAA employee I spoke to had detailed notes to check all issues then tow if necessary. It was necessary and I was left on the side of the road and told to call in again and request a tow.

Its nice to be able to buy my movie tickets there.

Very unprofessional. I have been AAA member for 3 years and have only needed to use roadside assistance twice. My car broke down and was stranded and needed a tow. I was honest letting them know that I needed a tow to the dealer. They refused and canceled my ticket without letting me know. When I called back to speak to a manager I was disconnected. I will be canceling my membership. I suggest other options for Roadside assistance.

Called and was told battery service is suspended. I get it s cold, I get there are a lot of calls, but my car won t start when I need it and I would like the service I am paying for.

I called AAA to speak with the supervisor John from so I could get a jump start on my suv. John from AAA was very rude unprofessional cancel my account for no reason. I was looking to get essential products for my family. At the end of the day were all Americans regard list of color apparently he doesnt see it that way.

It was awesome. I went to get get my AAA membership renewal. Easy as pie and piece of cake. If one has an older car that one does not not make a monthly payment, get AAA. Highly recommend!!

I needed a tow service to tow my Jeep from my home to a mechanic in our neighborhood. Even though my vehicle had a valid NY plate and a temporary registration from NYS DMV (Waiting to receive a regular registration sticker via mail), AAA refused to offer me a tow service because of not having a regular registration. NYS DMV clearly allows a vehicle to be driven with a temporary registration, as long as you have the expired registration still placed on the front windshield, but apparently AAA does not honor that and makes their own policies which are not clearly mentioned in the member handbook. The AAA member handbook does not clearly provide information about the AAA towing policy under the Service Not Included. All it says Service on nonregistered or unplated vehicles. Nonregistered is not the same as vehicles registered with a temporary registration. When I spoke to the supervisor John, he was very rude and clearly was unwilling to offer any help. He even said that he will cancel my membership for no reason. I would NOT recommend AAA to anyone looking to get a membership. Their quality of service has not been up to the mark. UPDATE: I received a call from Victor (Operations Manager) who has been an excellent source of help. I wish AAAs other staff can work as diligently as Victor so they can provide a 5-star service to their customers each and every time.

When my car decided to quit today I had to call AAA. I dont know the name of the female but she was very friendly and courteous...even with the computer acting up. I was told anywhere from 15 minutes to 1hr and half...which suxs in a freezing cold car but at least I was gonna get help. I swear within 10 minutes of calling I received a call saying my tow was on the way(Thank god..toes will be warm soon) it would be about 10-15 minutes. 7 minutes later the tow was there!!! Joe was the nicest tow trucker driver I have met!! He accommodate me as much to his ability! Please please think about giving joe a little increase because his customer service is definitely on point!! He will bring in the customers. I definitely recommend Joe as a driver! Excellent driver!! Didnt even scratch my tow hitch(which everybody does) Thank you again for the excellent service!! Big plus is I get to see the original 88!!!

Huge shoutout to AAA Hudson Valley!! I thought it was amazing when the guy got here in under 1/2 hour last weekend to jump my car - today the guy was here in under 15 minutes! The only way you could have got here any faster is if you knew ahead of time that my car wasnt going to start and were waiting in my driveway! I wouldnt live in this area without AAA!! And everyone has been really pleasant to deal with. Thank you!! By the way, it was Eric who came this morning and he was great - give him a raise!!

Being a AAA member, I need to remember to stop by the office more often to take advantage of their great deals and benefits. From a free passport photo, to discount regal movie tickets and six flags season passes, I always find more deals when I stop into the office.

I got hosed on converting American Dollars into Canadian Dollars on 4/4/19. For $115.00 US cash, I got $125.00 Canadian. I guess I should have done my research ahead of time. Shame on me.

I had a flat tire today in Colonie in the rain. When I called AAA, they were at my location in 10 minutes; 10 minutes later, I was on my way. Give up your daily latte if you have to but get a AAA membership. When you need them, theyre there and a more welcome sight you cant imagine. Thank you AAA

Went there to get an international drivers license. The process was very fast and convenient. Just bring with you your drivers license, 2 passport size photo (they can take yours there for a fee if you dont have one) and pay $20 for the permit. Took me less than 10 mins to complete the transaction

The woman at the front desk today was pretty rude and unhelpful. Even if you dont offer a specific service anymore (I was actually told otherwise by the Hudson Valley operator on the phone yesterday...), I wouldve appreciated a little guidance in the right direction - thats just common courtesy. If someone came to my workplace and was a little lost with something, Id at least TRY to point them in the right direction or find someone present who could help. ESPECIALLY considering I have a AAA plus membership. Other AAA locations have been fantastic, which makes todays experience even more disappointing. If I had known (had called yesterday to confirm), I couldve just made plans to go somewhere else instead of wasting my time here. If the front desk person had made even the slightest effort to help, I would feel differently.

I have never seen such blatant disrespect for a AAA member that is platinum by the Hudson Valley AAA call center and dispatch. The supervisor John obviously has some kind of side thing going on with Pete s auto garage after dropping my car off And leaving it there with no one in the garage stating that they blatantly refused to pick my car up and bring it to a location where there is actually somebody in the garage as well as stating that they don t care how long that they re going to be out of the garage That Pete is going to be the one to do the service. John you Misogynist pompous Arrogant SOB! How dare you tell me where MY CAR is going to be repaired. You need to be stripped of your management position I would not even allow you to answer the phone much less be in customer service! I will make sure that I complain to the highest authority in regards to your behavior which is absolutely disgusting! How dare AAA allow you to represent them.

AAA is great I feel welcomed anytime I go there and I appreciate this service having home and auto insurance really is a great way to feel safe knowing youre covered thank you very much for the chance to know that me and my family are covered

Great Service from the staff.

I had a flat tire this morning & Honda Scheduled a service call. They were very prompt. Called me right away & gave me an update on the tech. The technician, Allen who assisted me was a great, humble very help full person. Instead of changing the tire with the spare he offered to fix it right then & there. Great service, performed by Allen. God bless him!

The people were prettythe girl that I got on the phone today was much better than the one yesterday I hung the phone up on her I got tired of her the one today was very nice I think her name was Tiffany I dont remember very nice I just wanted to pay for my grandsons AAA pro subscription thats all I did was fine

Had an accident and aaa showed up within 30 minutes and towed my car to Firestone. The driver was wonderful and service was outstanding!

I went in to apply/change my info for new auto insurance. I was very pleased with the insurance agent, Nicola, who helped me. She was able to get the new insurance company to start my new policy right away AND set my first payment for March 5, 2019!!! Pretty amazing I believe! I would recommend going into Hudson Valley AAA if they need vehicle insurance. Great job Nicola Browne!!!

For the past five years Ive been taking the defensive driving course from AAA and it is boring but they do a good job over here I have to say..

Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. When it comes to having a childs car seat installed, I prefer it being installed by someone certified to install it. T AAA there is no fee or membership requirement.
