We have a 100 year old home with five exterior doors. Philips sent Greg because he likes to work with old locks. He tirelessly worked on our doors, and redid every cylinder without having to replace a single one. Every lock now works beautifully! He was extremely professional and pleasant to have in our home. Money well spent!

We had a great experience with Phillips Locksmith. We were looking for a smart lock that would work with WiFi. I called another well-known local business - rhymes with Nan-Join - and they had very limited offerings. I called Phillips and spoke with Yuriy first and then Gary, the owner. Not only did they discuss a variety of options with me, they sent a locksmith to make sure the lock would fit on our very thick front door. They ordered the device, and specified the Smart Home Hub I would need to purchase from Amazon to use the lock with my phone. Yuriy came back to do the installation, and Gary showed up to walk me through the tech side, as he uses the same model of lock and software. I'm very happy with the quality and appearance of the lock and its installation. I felt like we were in good hands from the beginning, and would recommend W&E Phillips Locksmiths to anyone for keys, locks, safes or security!
Yeah they were nice on the phone and all. Dude seemed pissed off that he had to unlock my car, do his job and drive 15 minutes to help me. I say “thank you” and I get “I don’t get why you couldn’t call someone else to do it”. I’ll make sure I get someone else to do it next time if I have a lock problem.
This was our first time using W & E Phillips Inc. The technician was amazing! He took time to explain the charges as well as the work he was doing and was efficient, neat, quick and cleaned up afterward too! We will always call them for any future needs.
Our front door lock mechanism wasn’t working properly. We called Phillips locksmith and they were able to get a tech out the next morning. Greg was so professional and efficient. He fixed our lock and replaced the door knob. It works perfectly now. They are very reasonably priced too. Thank you!

Great place! I had a problem with 2 lockboxes that I lost the keys for during a move. In a matter of less than a half hour, I was out the door with my 2 lockboxes with new locks and keys, all good to go & for a great price!

Great service, and clear knowledge of what they re doing! Took a broken key in an old lock, extracted the broken key and made a new set in ten minutes. I won t go anywhere else for help in the future.

If I could give more stars I would absolutely do that. I went to get a duplicate key made which proved to be a difficult task because of the type of key but these guys went above and beyond and I have a spare key.......

Penny was extremely knowledgable about the mechanics of an antique door lock problem and was able to solve it over the phone without having to send a technician over for an expensive house call. I went to the shop and they sold me the mechanism necessary to resolve the problem for a fair price
Everyone here was so nice. They showed me how to do work on replacing my antique lock in the store as well as helping me find a new replacement part. Saved me hundreds! Ill definitely come back if I need anything in the future.

I recently brought in a lock from a 58 aluminum camper that I purchased without a key. They were able to create keys for the lock, and gladly took the time to explain how it all worked to me. They are incredibly friendly, knowledgable, and quick. Great service!
I had an issue with a key getting jammed in the barrel of an incredible old lock in my apartment building. I really screwed it up in the process of removing my key, and placed all the parts into a bag and brought it here. I was expecting to hear it cant be fixed, youll need a whole new lock. Instead I heard hang on, let me look at this. In 30 minutes Penny had fixed the lock, and cut me new keys. And it didnt cost a fortune. She is awesome, personable and ever so knowledgeable. I will be using this place for all my locksmithing needs from this point going forward.

I needed spare keys for my 1990 Nissan 300zx and went to Phillips. On all the Z forums under the subject of keys it was noted that having keys made was a crap shoot because the locks and ignition were extremely finicky. Well Penny made the first key and it didnt work. She worked the key and after 3 tries it worked perfectly! She made four more with the same results. All in all a great experience! Thanks Penny!! We recently brought in a door lock from our church to try to get fixed. The owner came to our aide and took it in the back to look at. He fixed it in about one minute s time. As we were about to pay for this service he asked again where we were from and we told him Albany Baptist Church. He very graciously then said that there was no charge it was a service to do this for us. We just want to say thank you for such a very kind and generous offer of service to us. The thoughtfulness shown us and immediate service is not seen very often these days. We were so very surprised at your offer and VERY impressed and pleased to say the least!
I had gone to another locksmith in Albany looking for a replacement post for my door lock cylinder and they told me that was not possible and that I would have to buy an entirely new lock cylinder. Penny was a huge help (very knowledgeable about door locks and installation). It took some searching, but she was able to find the proper part and replace it for me for only $2.50. I will definitely be a returning customer.
