I liked Jiffy Lube People were very helpful with my bad leg Instead of me having to go out they came To me showing me what had to be done They took the person touch you don,t see that anymore I think Jiffy lube shoud have Many woderfull things happing there If it was up to me give them 45 stars I am takeing off 5 points because i was siting in a bad spot well there was a car In front of me door open with no keys But its not the shop faut most people Take there keys and not know to leave Them we all are not to blame but it dose Happin the end

Service was done well, they checked several important items like all lights, air filter and wipers. I often see cars on the road that have a tail light , directional or head light out. Getting an oil change at Jiffy Lube would catch those problems.

This was my first time using Jiffy Lube. Absolutely outstanding service. Clean atmosphere- knowledgeable and personable staff. Price is fair for such a great experience. Will continue to use them nationwide for my fleet.

Quick and efficient state inspection process at Central Ave colonie location (near car wash)

Never again! Was Charged $50.99 for a $15 cabin air filter, $30.99 for a $15 air filter, $115.49 for 5.5 quarts of oil and filter changeout and 20 mins of their time. And who know s what the $7.99 covered? Shame on me, only if it was warmer, I typically do my changes myself.

Employees 5 star but it shouldn t take almost 2 hours for an oil change. They need to come up with a plan to take 20 min customers in one bay and all others in a different bay. However it could be because they are short handed because I did see a sign for help wanted so that may be the issue

I use the jiffy lube on central avenue in colonie New York. I have used other companies for oil changes. I use jiffy lube on central ave in colonie because the technicians are intelligent gear heads who understand their trade and what s necessary to keep a truck or car operating correctly.

I have brought 3 cars regularly to Jiffy Lube for at least 5 years. Since it has changed hands, I have seen the customer care go down while the prices have continued to go up. They now charge an additional 5+ dollars for supplies, just another fee to get in your pocket. I am done, I have gone to Jiffy lube for the last time.

Andrew, L and Brian were absolutely amazing with thier service!!! Oil change, transmission check, filters and brake lights done in less than an hour! Worth the money and I know it s done well.

DJ and Jalen were so cool they reset my brake weights and didn t even charge me! You aren t gonna find that anywhere else. Great job guys!

It was not good. The line was very long. They went into my glove box to get out the cabin filter and left it a mess not only that they left grease all over the front of the dash and the door. Also, I was the impression that the oil change was gonna be $75 and it was $110. Very disappointed, I will not return

Just turned away from the Central Avenue location. Wouldnt do the inspection because they didnt want to scratch the wheel. Ive never heard of such a thing. Id hope they didnt want to scratch anyones wheel. Popped up to the Latham location, my previous go-to place thats been down due to refurbishment. They delivered.

Fastest service ever

They were very friendly and fast. Only thing I didn t like is that they flagged my rear windshield wiper as may need attention when I literally replaced it a day prior to bringing it in. Definitely be wary of the upsell!

The inspection is $21. They told me my inspection would not pass without replacing the passenger side wiper blade. That was $40. Now my inspection cost $70. Con artists. I will never go there again.

Couldnt believe how cheap an oil change has become compared to the price of eggs.

Very efficient explained everything very well not pushy on add on items plus a free car wash and Jiffy bucks from last time. Can t complain. that was last time I was there. This time I just went for inspection on a Wednesday morning longer than expected wait time and charged me $36 for two license plate lights. Less than three dollars at auto store.

Again scamming the customer and charging 60 dollars for cheap windshield wipers. Absolutely disgraceful. Appalling service and looking for any way to make a quick but expensive extra buck at the customers expense. Looks like Im not the only customer that is being ripped off. Needs investigating. Also a random charge for shop supplies. What is that?! A complete con.

I arrived at Jiffy Lube and asked for oil because my oil light was on in my vehicle. The service attendant informed me, I would be charged because I did not want anything but oil. I emphasized I didn t need an air filter or windshield wipers. I exited the car and went inside. The attendant came in and told me I didn t need oil and to have the light on my dashboard checked. I followed up and had my oil checked elsewhere and I needed oil. The light went off immediately!!!

It took an hour and 45 mins for a routine oil change. Every time I come here I think I ll have a better experience than the previous time and that is never the case. I ll be going to Valvoline from now on they re always great there.

If I ever decide to try this place again someone please punch me in the face...the guy who took my name in line was so unhappy it was actually off putting. And Im a nice person! I came in after work around 12:20 pm and am still waiting for my oil change and inspection to be completed. Its 1:58. Next time, its Valvoline here I come! And my total for a Honda Civic was $145. Luckily, I looked up a coupon ahead of time. Finished at 2:05pm. The only reason I gave them stars was because the guy in the garage who talked to me about my car was really nice. I wish I knew his name.

Super quick getting our car in for an inspection. Very friendly and helpful.

I had been a very satisfied customer with Jiffy Lube for years as they serviced many of my vehicles. However this last time when they removed a shield on the bottom of the vehicle to change the oil, they did not play screws back in that Shield. They unscrewed five of the holes and pulled down on the shield rather than removing all of the screws and then putting them all back up in there. They left that Shield hanging from the bottom of my vehicle. I was extremely disappointed with them on that.

I showed up at 5:20 for an inspection. The older gentleman came over to my car and said the wait is 50 minutes which would put us past the time we close, but if youre going to stay we HAVE to service you and it would put us past the time we close...which is 6:00. At that point I didnt feel comfortable with the service that I would eventually receive so I decided to go to elsewhere.

With 3 bays open, they were pretty quick getting me in. From there it was only about 1/2 hour before they were done with an oil change, refilling all the fluids and air pressure in the tires. Highly recommend

People work hard to do a great job, and Im very satisfied with them and the work. Not so much with the heavy-handed sales pitch. It s like being called to the principals office!

This place is all about how much money they can get. You come for a car inspection and they bring the car in and let it sit for 2 hours. No consideration for anyone s time.

Went for NYS Inspection and very long wait. Ad my 3 & 4 year old children with me. Very busy. Wiper blades 60 dollars!!! Not kid friendly. Overall service was good. Thank you!

They damaged my car 3 times at different locations. Recently Left this hanging down. And it broke off. It doesnt seem to matter what location you go too. This is the third time something happened. I will never go back to any Jiffylube again

I m only giving one star because the customer service was decent and it won t let me give zero stars. That being said I brought my vehicle in for a NYS inspection and that s it. I waited an hour and a half for that to be completed and while waiting I was called out and shown BOTH my cabin and engine air filters had been removed without me asking to do so and was asked if I wanted them replaced (I did not). Neither one of these filters are part of a NYS inspection anyway. At the end of the hour and a half I went out to the shop to ask what was taking so long and noticed that the inspection had been completed with the inspection report sitting on the dashboard and the hood was raised with nobody working on the vehicle and was told only then that they would pull my vehicle outside. Complete disregard for people s time here. I will NEVER return to Jiffy Lube again.

Staff was very nice. I waited for over 2 hrs but this is my own fault for waiting for the 1st of the month to get my inspection done. My only real complaint is that they have 3 lines and if the person in front of you is getting an oil change and tire rotation etc youre waiting even longer. They really should designate 1 line to inspections only..

Wow! What an efficient operation they have here! When I drove up and saw the two lines with cars out the back door, I figured Id be here for a couple of hours - I was wrong! This Jiffy Lube has an incredible team of mechanics working together to take care of business and get you on your way quickly. I was here this morning (July 29, 2024) for a NYS Inspection of my newly acquired electric car. Im sure they make nothing off of my inspection, yet they were as kind and respectful to me as they were to any of the other customers who were (possibly) paying for a multitude of services. Everyone was working diligently and the camaraderie amongst the team members was obvious. I have the utmost respect and appreciation for this group of people - I would highly recommend the 1755 Central Ave. location of Jiffy Lube!

One out of three lanes were open, four cars ahead of me, was there for one hour and twenty minutes for an oil change. Ridiculous. The staff that happened to be there seemed to be having a pretty good time in the bay, so there s a plus. Next visit - waited 2 hours and 15 minutes to get my oil changed.

Excellent, professional service. Despite a busy Saturday morning they got me in and out and on my way.

I arrived before the shop opened but was already the 7th car in line. Waited for an hour and a half for them to finish just changing my oil, no other service. The last 20 minutes my car just sat there with no one working on it before they called me in to pay which was quite annoying. Ive been a customer at this location for at least 5 years and I have to say the service has certainly gone down hill since the Hoffman group sold out. The people who waited on me were pleasant.

They were very helpful and described everything that they were doing and were also efficient and quick.

Everyone very friendly. Customer waiting area could have used some attention. Be sure to check if your oil change service due light has been reset, mine wasnt and its still telling me I need to change the oil...

The few times so far that I have brought my car to Jiffy Lube, has been very positive. The workers are very friendly and knowledgeable. I try to arrive early and when doing this, the wait has been fairly short, which I find amazing. I appreciate the coupons I receive as I am on a fixed income and your prices are good and the work has been great. Thanks again!

I realy thought they were a decent organization. I sent my daughter in for an inspection. $80 for wipers? $10 for a cup of premixed antifreeze? And some $6 shop supplies fee? Seriously, is that fee for the throwing out the packaging of the $80 wipers? I changed the oil the day before and all they did was try to pressure her into an oil change. If I could give a 0 I would. A young girl gets taken totally advantage of and walks away paying a $125 for an inspection, because the recommendation was wipers, the last time I checked antifreeze is not an inspectable item....

Don t believe this cheaters.I went there couple days ago for my car inspection, but what they did it was horrible.Without my permission they just replaced my air filter and charge me $78.00 I don t know why.And they take of my sticker from my car.And they took my car key and said without you give us the money we can t give you the car key.And give me a big list.I was shocked cause I know my car have not that many issue.Than I went to another store and they did my inspection.

Jiffy Lube is not the same as before. Oil change price has increased significantly, wait times are much longer (2 hours), and they charge an extra $5.99 for shop supplies. They claim this additional fee covers non-itemized supplies. All I had done was an oil change so Im not sure what other items besides the oil and filter were used. I think this is just another fee to pad their profits.

Last time I came here the technician didn t attach my oil filter correctly, so my car spilled oil all over my drive way. The assistant store manager had to come to my house to fix it and assured me that the person who did my oil change had been fired. Today I just checked in for a NYS inspection An hour ago. Not one car moved the entire time. 3 employees outside smoking and hanging out in their cars. Don t waste your time here not one employee cares about making a profit or your time I am sure they will show you your air filter though if you ever actually get your car in for service.

Today s visit was the worst I ever experienced. A 1 star is generous.

I ve been going to this establishment for over 15 years. I trust them with my CARS, even though some workers come and go, the old timers are still there( I m glad) I just went in to get oil change on my Mercedes I personally asked the mgr( Brianna) I think she s been there maybe a year or more. Anyway everytime I come I watch her. She s a great worker and mgr, she knows her STUFF! I personally asked her if possibly she could do my car for now on and she said sure ofc. I know I won t have to worry or wonder if my car is being taken care of right. I d like to thank her and the company for employing her, she s a great asset to the company!

WAY OVERPRICED. Charged 2 and a half times the cost for an air filter that I can get on line. $125 for an oil change that I can buy the same oil for $30 at a store. Labor cost cant be that much...
