Outrageous prices bad customer serviceBetter places in the Capital District
I was looking to get two valve covers sandblasted. The gentleman then proceeded to tell me it will be $100. I think I’ll give my money to powdertech.
The gentlemen there are awesome. Kind hearted and friendly. I went there to get my wheels powder coated and they took the time to explain to me in depth how powder coat works in comparison to paint. Pricing was excellent would recommend for anyone who needs something powder coated to go see these people. You won't be disappointed.
I have baseboard floor vents that are 50+ years old. I found replacing them was not an option due to the odd sizes, also the ones they make today are made much cheaper. So I took mine in to South End Powder Coating and they were very straight forward with the estimate and telling me what would have to be done to the job right. They were very professional and ended up getting them done sooner than they had estimated. I was very pleased with the work they did, not one complaint. They even did the inside so they actually look better than they did new. They went so far as to powder-coat the screws so it would all match perfectly. I believe the charge for the work was very fair. Very professional and polite. I highly recommend them.
I tried it and I will never go back.
