Superb experience. Josh and his crew were thorough and precise. They were able to show problems another tire company had created. The other company admitted fault and corrected the $600+ repairs. Firestones automotive Detectives made everything simple for even a novice like me to understand. Although I was reasonably upset they guided me through what needed to be done and they were right. They also got me in ahead of my scheduled appointment. They also accept military & police discounts... cant beat that. Ill be seeing them again over Warren, Walmart and Mavis. Ease of making appointment and sticking to the schedule. Very friendly staff with similar experience- military. Clear and concise on work to be performed and accomplished. Very clean and accommodating facility.

Dropped my car off for an oil change and tire rotation. I had marked my tires beforehand and after the service the tires were all in the same place even though they were charging me for the rotation. I called them out and they actually did it the second time. HOWEVER, 5 days later my check engine light came on. I popped the hood and the oil filler cap on my engine was missing and the oil had spilled all over the car engine and risked my engine being burnt. I have been to this firestone several times and every time, I have had an issue with them that involved lying, stealing, or both. Unless you know ur car and know how to check behind the maintenance men, DO NOT GO HERE

completely ruined my vehicle! Went 2 get a thermostat fixed, they then told me I needed a new radiator.. fine, I decided to get the thermostat and radiator done. I went from paying 200$ to paying 1600$. I called the next day asking for an update on my vehicle, they then mentioned a water pump issue. I denied getting that fixed. I get my vehicle and 5 minutes later it overheats way faster than usual. I get to my location 15 mins after picking my vehicle up from Firestone, & it just didn t turn on again. Had 2 get it towed back 2 Firestone. We ll see what happens next.. do not recommend.. smh

The manager Mike and his techs are amazing and incredibly professional. They where able to fix an aligment that was messed up by another shop and get the car back in spec. They also rebalanced my tires as they where not balanced correctly. They fit me in on short notice and went above and beyond to rectify the problem. If you need work done to your vehicle come here to get it done, you can be assured it will be done right.

I wish I could give them a zero. This location is absolute trash and dog water. How tf do they manage to make my car inspection 2 hours long and still havent moved my car from where I left it. I was given an ETA of an hour.

Mat the manager took me with no appointment and no hassle. He offered 4 brand new installed tires with balancing, a wheel alignment and a free wheel alignment for the life of the car. Roadside hazard insurance for all 4 tires. This was a nationwide package for just over 500 bucks. The technician was skilled and fast with the installation and alignment. I was in and out in a hour with a nice safe smooth ride home.

Great store run by professional staff. Real people with genuine care about your needs. They did not have my tire in stock that day . MIKE the manager drove over in his personal vehicle and got my tir e from the other Firestone. Returned and had us fixed and aligned and on our way in record time. This was above and beyond my expectations. I recommend them and commend them for their efforts

I recently visited Firestone Auto Care and had a great experience. They have good seating availability if you want to wait for your car, which made the wait comfortable. Matt and Cam literally saved me. They worked really fast to diagnose the problem with my Prius when it started failing on the highway. I consider myself very lucky to have broken down so close to this Firestone on a random Sunday. They were considerate and honest, I really appreciate everything they did to help me to get back on the road driving from Vermont to Pittsburgh.

My friend and I were on a 6 hour road trip when our car broke down. These guys were the sweetest, most genuine and transparent people ever. They walked us through everything and showed us what and where the issue is. We had gone to a couple auto places and everyone was condescending and rude. These guys were such a breath of fresh air. My experience with Firestone Complete Auto Care on Central Ave. in Albany was a complete 180 from my nightmare at a different shop. When I called for AC repair and an inspection, I spoke with Mike, who was friendly, courteous and assured me that, while busy, they could take my car that morning. Because I needed the AC fixed quickly for an upcoming trip, I honestly just called the first place I saw that seemed close to where I was (still upset over the experience at the other place), but I am glad I did. Two hours later, Gerry called with some bad, but not entirely unexpected, news about my 10-year-old car. He walked me through all the things that, while might not fail the inspection, would definitely need to be fixed sooner, rather than later. The AC repair was also not a cheap fix and again, Jerry walked me through all the issues that would need to be addressed if I wanted AC for my trip. He listed out the prices for each item and offered some options to bring down the cost a bit. After consulting with my husband, I called back and spoke with Matt who was able to find some more discounts for me, to ease the pain of expensive repairs. I also got some $ off for applying for their credit card because why not? When I went in to pick up my car, Matt was there to greet me and went over everything again. From the courteous manner with which I was spoken to on the phone and in person, and the full communication I received, to the great and fast service and repairs to my car, I would definitely recommend this shop.

Mike was extremely accommodating was able to help with my misfiring engine while I was passing through on a road trip on a Friday afternoon on a holiday weekend. He was able to diagnosis the issue and the fix the issue quickly so we can get back on the road. Mike and his team saved the weekend! He was transparent with the pricing and gave us regular updates throughout while the car was being serviced

Took my car in for what I thought was a routine fix, turns out the last guys jigger rigged it and cause this most recent damage. Firestone easily could have charged me for several things but Mike Mueller showed me pictures, told me just what to do, and charged me nothing. Thanks to him Im now getting my engine replaced for free. Thanks again Mike.

Brought it in for ac repair last summer, Tampering with my powerline to my ac compressor evident when bringing it into a local garage and no dye used even though i was charged for it. Do not trust these people with your car!

I recently met Mike and I had a terrible experience before hand with Firestone jipping me from the previous people who worked their long before and he made me comfortable along with Kevin(TJ) if you are working with those two you are in great hands. I cried a lot and he really was thier and supportive and made things easier even gave me pizza for lunch I m so appreciative and grateful I m just happy. I put my trust in Mike and they helped a lot made sure I m covered on the road for my move out day.

Big thank you to the shop, tech crew and Mike, Josh and Matt for getting my car squared away for another year. The professionalism and presented in the shop made for a quick and easy turn around with no headaches or interruptions to my daily life. Mike Mueller has been taking care of my car since 2017 because hes earned my trust as an honest and tenured tradesmen, and has made it happen once again to help keep my Subaru going well past the 261,000 miles its at now. I honestly thought I d never go back to Firestone after experiencing the Troy location but after visiting the Central Avenue location, it was the first time in a very long time I didn t feel cheated or lied to. Definitely not planning on going anywhere else to take care of my car. High recommended! Matt, Jerry, and Mike actually care about their jobs and enjoy what they do!

I am from out of town, but I stopped in for a small repair that was an emergency and the service I received from Mike was over the top. I also sat in waiting room for 45 minutes and watched how he handled nonstop phone calls and in person customers, and how he managed the whole thing was very impressive. This Place needs to be closed. They are not reliable and claim they only haveb1 mechanic but constantly taking appts. I purchased 4 brand new Tires and insured them. Took one in for a nail and 4 days later low pressure light back on. Called made an 8 am appt turned car in @ 7:20 am to be told we will do our best to have ready by 1:30. 11:20 I get a call they have no mechanic or licensed tech to take care of my tire problems. I was livid. They didnt offer an apology or any compensation for my inconvenience. Plus I told them Im leaving town at 2. This was so unacceptable and I will NEVER TAKE MY CAR TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN.They have Horrible customer service...

Scammers and terrible customer service

The mechanic placed my inspection sticker way too high on the windshield obstructing my view and ability to drive safely. I took the car back immediately and they said they can not reprint and replace it adjacent to the registration sticker, like EVERY other car I see. Unacceptable.

Worse service ever. 4:30pm for an oil change. Still here. Female tech has a serious attitude problem. She s mad because I had an appointment and they overbooked. Girl bye

Huhh, I m so worried and tired of this place. I just went for replacing my 2 tires and they said they gonna deliver by evening. But when I called them they re saying lug nuts are not good and need to be replaced. When i ask the lady who spoke to me on phone she said it s like 5$ so 10 nuts are like 50$ each and next day when I went for picking the car they billed me 12.90$ each and charged 120.90$. When I showed the price comparison the manager was too anger and saying like if you don t want I ll take off your nuts and car will fall down without tires, how ridiculous is his answer with customer.

Honestly I ve been going to this shop specifically for a long time and can say from the start they have always been the only people to treat me with patience and a genuine attitude. They treat me like a person not a number and have never failed to work out anything I ve ever needed fixed without once trying to pull one over on me. 10/10 would recommend this shop specifically

Appointment for a tire leak check was at 900am, show up at 845am. The second person in the lot and in the store. Gave them my keys and waited 2 hours while they brought cars into the workshop that came after me. Left because I had to go to work.

My daughter had a breakdown on her way back to college in Vermont on Labor Day. Guy (actual name) at Firestone went out of his way to get her back on the road that day. On a day when we felt lucky to find an open garage, we got an unexpected touch of humanity. Guy made sure the work got done and even helped her charge her phone. Price for alternator replacement was reasonable and they let dad pay via phone. Thanks for turning a travel nightmare into a happy ending.

Excellent service, no coffee etc while you wait, no water fountain but not employees fault. They gave me a bottle of water and appreciate it. The tires I wanted weren t manufactured anymore and they researched best options for me and kept it at or below the target price. Everything was on schedule.

I booked to buy 4 tires, an oil change, and a state inspection. All of this originally to be done in Troy on 3rd. I got there, it took time to find my order( I did everything but pay), manager tells me the tires I want are not in stock at the store. The manager tells me, I should have called!. If I did, then I would not have placed my order online. If I called it defeats the purchase on buying online. The idea is to save time, you order the work you want done, so the only thing to do is pay. So, he tells me the tires I want are in stock at the store on central Ave. At first it was better for me, because I was the 1st one there, I did my thing to start the work order, this was at 9:30, which the order that was to be done in Troy, the appointment was for 9. So 30 minutes, no bug deal. There is the manager, the mechanic and myself, the only was in the place. He starts the work, then other people start to come in, so what does this mechanic do, he has to get involved with a total of 3 other customers work that is to be done. One of the customers, actually it was the next customer that came in after me, needs to drop off a tire, for a truck, I am assuming a flat, the manager is waiting om this customer, then it seems like the mechanic working on my car, leaving my car, to take a tire out of this guys truck and brings it in the garage. Between that and his 1st smoke break, 15 minutes has gone by. Minutes that should have been spent on my car. So, the manager leaves, now the assistant comes in. Now more people are coming in and asking questions. Yes, by this time there are 2 mechan,ics more on duty. But still my mechanic wants to get involved in everything. I heard him did say, he has been doing this for 30 years, maybe, but he is the type of person that gets involved with everything. (I am sure you know that type) Of course I did say in a nice way, that you should be taking care of me not then. Now comes the attitude, whatever, I said just finish my car. So after 2 more smoke breaks, at 12 noon, my care is finished. From 9:30-12:00, the worst service ever. They got my $$$, I mean nothing now. If they read this, no doubt I will be called every name in the books. Never again. I recommend you go somewhere else.

Alignment tech are incompatant. You will require another alignment and possible two new tires if you choose to go to these guys....And the worst part is I paid over 100 dallors for service.

IF YOU CAN NOT PROVIDE A SERVICE DO NOT WASTE OUR TIME. We made an appointment for NYS car inspection 8 am. They told us to leave the car & they will call at noon when it s done. At noon, It s not done & It s can not be done today - they said. Come on!! You kidding me!!! Never ever! Good luck whoever wanna do business with them.

Service was excellent. From the service writer to the tech I was very impressed and felt I made a good choice going to this particular Location.

Appointments don t do anything and the wait is forever

Absolutely horrible service! I had an appointment this afternoon for an inspection. I arrived about 10 minutes early and was told they were running 30-45 minutes behind -- not ideal, but not totally unexpected. After an hour and a half, I finally went to check to see if the car was almost done. The receptionist grabbed the sheet and then informed me that the inspection machine had gone down and they were locked out of it, so they hadnt been able to do the inspection. I was there for an HOUR AND A HALF waiting and nobody told me.

I would HIGHLY recommend not going here if you have literally any other options available to you. Where do I start? Ive been taking my car here for years, because its within walking distance from Center Square, but now Ill gladly eat the cost of an Uber to/from a different place. First off, it doesnt matter at all what time you make your appointment for - theyll take a minimum of five hours for something as simple as a tire rotation, even if youve scheduled an appointment well in advance. You cant trust a word they say when it comes to ETAs on the work being done on your car, either. I called in yesterday after blowing out a tire and was told to come to the shop the next day at 8am because they were wide open. I took my car in at 8:06am and specifically asked for an ETA because I had an important meeting to make later in the afternoon. I was told it would be a few hours. Well, I called back at 11:50am to check in and was told that my car was next up and it would be done in 1.5-2 hours. Not great, but whatever. Called back for an update at 2:30pm, over two and a half hours later and was told it would be another hour. I asked what was taking so long and was met with the usual excuses that theyve been extra busy and are down a man. So what am I, chopped liver? Im a paying customer dropping almost $1k on their overpriced tires. The person on the phone then told me they would go check in and have it done in 20 minutes. My car didnt end up being done until 3:36pm, almost eight hours after Id dropped it off. This isnt out of the ordinary at all for this particular Firestone either; I had to wait five hours for a tire rotation just a month ago, despite having the appointment I mentioned at the beginning of this review. The next huge issue with this place is that theyre extremely dishonest with their upselling and in some instances will straight up make changes to your requests without checking in. I took my car in for an oil change earlier this year after making an online appointment, specifically for one of their oil change coupons, which is something like $25-30. I drop my car off and ten minutes later get emailed an invoice for a synthetic oil change costing upwards of $70. I immediately called in and asked why that was and was told its a premium oil change for premium vehicles. I drive a Kia - not anywhere near premium. I had to specifically request they honor the original appointment I made and was met with the person on the other end of the phone playing dumb and pretending like they didnt just try to rob me of $50. Unacceptable. Even for something like tires, theyll default you to the most expensive option, so if you need to go here, double and triple check that theyre doing what you asked, because theyre incredibly shady. I asked for four all season tires, the same ones I had previously purchased there, and was told the total would be $1,030. Over a stack for four tires? I had to go online, find ones that were cheaper and still ended up paying over $900 for four tires that took eight hours to change, despite my car being there when they opened. Finally, this is a weird thing, but after waiting five hours for my tires to be rotated, I went to pick up my car and the person who brought it out to their parking lot purposefully parked literal inches next to a large truck in the parking lot, despite there being multiple empty spaces right next to where they parked. I had to very carefully get into my car, making sure I wasnt making contact with the truck next to me, because they left almost no room to get in/out. The person who did that had to exit my car themselves, so they knew exactly what they were doing. Passive aggressive and weird. Im an easy-going customer 99% of the time, but Ive had it with this place. Theyre dishonest, shady, oddly passive aggressive and will take forever to do something simple and then overcharge you for it. 1/10, would NOT recommend. The only thing Ill say in their defense is that I should have stopped bringing my car here years ago.

Absolute trash. We had a blowout at 10am, said it would be a few hours. Called back at 12, nothing. 2pm, nothing. Said it would be done at 6pm. Called and they said yup good to go. They NEVER touched the vehicle, just straight lies all the way through. Avoid this place and whoever Billy is, like the plague. The opening manager doesn t even know how to change or plug a flat. Useless all the way around.

There is absolutely no reason for it to take two plus hours to do a simple oil change, check the tire pressure & add air if needed, and do a filter change. I have other stuff that I needed to do and now I cant because they took way too long. The only reason why they are getting two stars from me is because they were friendly.

I went to fire stone for a wheel alignment and wheel balancing. date August 4th 2022 between the hours of 7.am to 7.30am I meet with store manager keehan Saxton as I was dropping my car off I asked him to look into my wheel balancing record for life time balancing services. he said I have to paid for it I said I dont mind but first I need my service record and the service I paid for and I paid for life time balancing. he insulted me and speak very loudly that I wanted service for free and he is not going to offer me free service that he clearly have knowledge and knows thar fires stone has not sold any life time balancing service in the past 5 years and its not a service thar fire stone offers. however I insisted that he looks up my record after insulting me at the counter like Im a free loader going there which Im a loyal customer for over 5 years.he runs through my record and find that in year of 2020 which is two years ago I paid for life time balancing as soon as he saw that he asked me to leave and get out the shop while other customers are behind looking at the insulting words he throws at me. I said Im leaving but before I leave and walk through the door I want to let you know that you said loud and clear fire stone hasnt sold life time ballance in the past five year and refer to me like im a freeloader infront everyone. but you run my records and see for your self that I paid for it 2 years ago which makes you a dishonest person...and I left. I kindly called upon higher management to look into the cameras and listen to the conversation exchanges between me and this dishonest human being name keehan Saxton and try to comprehend what I went through dealing with this dishonest and insulting human being who chased customer out of their shops when confronted for their lies. I cannot trust keehan Saxton with the keys to my car for im wise enough to know lying and stealing are next door neighbors. how do you trust a dishonest person? who when confronted and called out become offensive and chased you out their shop?

I was in a rear accident and Firestone was extremely helpful in helping me replace my tire that was blown. I have an AWD car and many people said I would need all 4 replaced (even though insurance would only replace 1). My tires had less than 20K miles on them. Everyone was friendly on the phone and when I came for my appointment they checked and said I could just replace 2 safely. I was appreciative of their honesty and help. Would definitely recommend.

Never a bad experience best staff ever.

The employees at this Firestone is amazing. They do not take advantage and the employees, especially Lauren, Brandon and Cameron went above and beyond for me. Because of these fantastic employees and the excellent customer service they provided me after my tires were slashed and the time I came back to get my oil changed I will never go anywhere else. There are quite a few of firestones and other auto places closer to my house but I am willing to venture to Albany because I know when I come here my car and my family s safety are in the best hands. Bravo Firestone. These employees especially Lauren, Cameron and Brandon deserve a huge raise!!!

I had the most amazing experience today at the central Ave Firestone. I was on my way home from work and I ran over a nail. I just happened thankfully to be in front on Firestone so I rolled in. From the very second I walked in the staff was warm, welcoming. Helpful. Kay was a doll and the nice young woman that fixed my tire was awesome. It took 30 mi uses. I was in and out. These young ladies were amazing. I cant thank them enough!!! You can tell they take great pride in their job

Brought my car here for an inspection and tire replacement. Probably the best service I ve gotten since moving to Albany. The two young ladies helped me out wonderfully and even took me to the car to explain everything in such an easy understandable way. Service was decent price for everything that needed to be done and everyone there was really nice. Don t even bother with any other places (especially Mavis- mavis will rob you blind) and just bring your car here. I cannot express how great their service was and will continue to bring my car to them from here on out.

I had a 2002 Toyota Avalon which I took to Firestone on March 17th to get serviced while I was out shopping I get a phone call telling me that THERE WAS AN ISSUE WITH THEM FIXING MY CAR, and they dont know how long was gonna run for now. I actually gonna fix the problem and they stated that it would be too much of a headache to fix the problem its not worth it my car has 317,000 on it The most they can do is offer me a refund, me and the manager not Sean, he is the old manager, this new manager actually tries to flip it on me and says HOW DO WE KNOW IT WASNT BLOWN BEFORE YOU BROUGHT IT TO US. after they try to fix it HE SAYS THIS TO ME! WOW. I offered proof that my house has 24 hours surveillance and that the smoke was not coming out of my car until I came to Firestone and got serviced. He offered me $400 refund I took it I had no choice the manager just try to flip it on me what choice did I have do not bring your car to Firestone if you do not wanna go through this there are plenty of professional places which will probably compare prices please do not bring it to Firestone on central Avenue, in Albany N.Y. the manager is new to this store, and wants to protect the reputation of the store at any cost.

I had a rough patch and needed help from Firestone albany. The sales rep Brandon took good care of me. Knew I wasnt looking for anything fancy and was very straight forward.

My father took his car there for a diagnostic test. After the test they said his catalytic converter was bad, and said it.ll cost $1,600 to fix. My father said no, so they charged him 106.00 for the test. My father then took his car to a different shop, and it was NOT the catalytic converter, it was a hose under the hood. Simple fix, took only 5 min. to replace. They tried to get over for 1,600. I wouldnt recommend this Firestone to Nobody. Bunch of scumbags

You all lost a customer today. Were visiting from out of state and realized that my tires were bald. Called the closest Firestone to get pricing, as weve had good luck with them back home. The first guy my husband spoke with was polite and helpful. When my husband called back to set up the appointment, he spoke to a different guy, who was full of attitude. When my husband told him that he had called a little while ago to ask about getting tires, the guy told him I dont know who you talked to, maybe it was one of the techs, but it wasnt me. In print, it doesnt sound bad but the tone was rude, and I was not about to come in and hand some jerk $1k of our hard earned money. I came in early on my day off to get my brakes inspected with hopeful replacement of brake pads and rotors. Apparently was closed and was told my employees there waiting outside that the manager wasn t there and couldn t get in contact with the manager, thus couldn t open the store. Waited up to an hour and the manager never came to open the store. Very frustrating to say the least.

The guy Brandon who helped me here was awesome. Everywhere else I was looking for an inspection was very rude to me, Brandon was easy to work with. When I called he goes hey just come on down and give me some time and well make it happen. I was in and out in 20 minutes. Guy is great Id recommend anyone go here

I had my car towed to firestone, (After I called them with an oil leak.) when I called to find out the progress of the repairs on it I was told they had no mechanic to service the problem. They then told me there was a bolt ( a very large one) in my tire . I had checked this car over for what scratcheds dents, and tire issues it might have. I also checked what I had IN the car. There was no Bolt in the tire (It would have gone flat) and being an auto mechanic too, I know what the problems were. Being 74 years old I can not do the things I did when Younger or I would have handled the situation myself. Very disapointed in the Firestone service I had relied on for over 10 years.

Don t go here. Stay away. My car was this shop for 4 day. First I needed 2 tires and a battery. Then 1 tire and battery. Then I need brakes and rotors all around. They called me told car ready. Got there Mike said your car isn t driveable. It needs a rack in pinion, and is leaking power steering fluid. Ok Mike why wasn t this conveyed to prior to pick up. No answer. You charged for an diagnostic of vehicle and you called me 5 times and never mentioned this. Horrible horrible service. They def are trying to run up price for anything. Mike refused to provide number to corporate. I have filed a complaint.

These guys are amazing. They went out of their way to save us over 500$ and make sure our vehicle was safe and up to par. Will always recommend and use again and again.

Asked about a time frame and was told 40 minutes. Ended up taking 2.5 hours and they didn t communicate the change or explain why. I had to ask for updates three times. The staffer was also new and ill informed. Quoted me the wrong price and gave me wrong info on the service instead of saying not sure, let me check. That would have been appreciated.

Brandon helped me and was great. It s hard to find businesses today that that have great staff and great service. They didn t try to up-sell me and completed the work in a timely manner. Great job Brandon.

The guys here are pretty good and occasionally can get you out pretty quick. I wouldnt recommend showing up without a appointment and having a 30-minute visit. They offer plenty of discounts (for bundles of tires and other services if you ask) and usually have workarounds if you ask.

Employees should be wearing masks. No one was.

If you need your car serviced, go here! And specifically, ask for Brandon. I always leave my car maintenance to the last minute because of my work schedule, and two times now they have been able to get me in last minute to help me out. They are so friendly, prices are pretty normal, and I have always had a wonderful experience. I will absolutely be back!

Purchased 4 new snow tires and next morning rear tire is almost flat. Return at 8:30am and they say a couple of hours to look at my tire. Update they pulled it in sooner and fixed right away

What a rip off, they literally want to charge me $540 to change a brake that I just changed few months ago. Do not trust them, there are much better places in town who can do honest inspections and won t cheat you. Update: Do you really care about your business? How about you go and ask you employees how are they are angering customers instead sending the same exactly copy/past the same words to every customer writes bad review. Otherwise soon you will be doing a lot copying and pasting. piece of advice you need to reevaluate your business priorities (customers or money).

Went to firestone for a balance rotate alignment and full inspection and they tried to tell me I needed $1400 worth of work done. Took it to my local small trusted garage and they tell me I need exactly what I thought I needed and only that. A balance, rotate and alignment. These people are liars and thieves. Buyers beware.

We went there to see if they could pull out a dent on our tire. They laughed at us from within the shop, ignored us, only thing that they were able to help us with was telling us to Google search a body shop who fixed it in 3 seconds for free.

Always great service! I take all my vehicles to this location and always recommend them to others. Professional and courteous crew. I appreciate that they not only do the service I need that day, but they sometimes recommend other appropriate services needed to keep my car in safe and good condition.

I recently brought my car in here to get tires and they informed me i needed tie rod ends. Later that afternoon i brought the parts to replace the tie rod ends and realized the technition had over-tourqued all the lugnuts on one of the wheels that they had replaced. called the next morning luckily i was off from work and had to have the vehicle towed in to do my wheel allignment. It was a very big inconvenience that i had to have the vehicle towed in being that only one lug nut was actually holding the wheel on at this point.

My family and I were heading from Rochester to Cape cod yesterday when a rear tire on my fully loaded Ford transit began to lose air from a large tire bulge. We were able to get to your shop from the thruway and were so happy to meet your excellent employees John and Laura. John almost immediately dropped everything so that he could change the bad tire with the spare. He did so quickly and with a great smile and pleasant attitude. He also explained what happened and then checked the other tires for proper inflation! The bill was very reasonable and we were soon back on the road and safely on our way to Cape cod again. I am now a customer for life and will visit the nearest mr tire store in Rochester for my next set of tires or car service. Thanks again so much John for going above and beyond the normal and exceptionally taking care of me and my family yesterday!

James was really helpful. I got a puncture in the sidewall portion of my tire and he was able to immediately attend to it. It was relatively close to closing time and other stores that were closer to me said I would need to come in the following day. When I called the Albany Firestone James answered and told me to come to the shop and he would replace the tire immediately. He and the tech were friendly and they got me out of there within an hour. I highly recommend

Be careful when servicing your car here. The service itself is fine, but they will recommend service your car does not need. They told me that the rear brakes were low and should be replaced. They did not know that I had both the brakes and rotors replaced on all four wheels at the dealership within the last 10,000 miles. Which another dealership just stated were good during an oil change today. In addition, they recommended changing the engine air filter, which I myself service and knew was fine. The dealership today also just said the engine air filter was in good shape. So in summation: Service is ok, the recommendations are not.

Should have checked the reviews before coming here. The haggling is 100% true and quite disgusting. Will literally tell you anything and everything that could be wrong with your car in order for you to spend more money. Cool for business but not really cool to keep customers returning. Avoid at all cost (theyd just take all your money anyway).

Their customer service is outstanding!!! They are always eager to help and make sure you understand exactly whats going on. They explain why you are having a problem, then how they are going to fix it, as welk as letting you know if there are other options. Definitely would recommend them.

Bought new tires here a year ago. Had a tire patched today. Good service. Did what they were supposed to do in both cases.

Got a brand new rack and pinion put in my van and immediately took it here to get the tires aligned and they broke my rack and pinion and are trying to do absolutely NOTHING my husband is currently trying to get this fixed with corporate but its places like this that make me skeptical about garages! Im not made of money and my 4 year olds school district does not transport and is not on a cdta line this is the only way I have to get him to school so Im highly annoyed I decided to trust someone with my car and they messed up BIG TIME... So unless you have money to waste go somewhere else I will update when my husband is done talking to corporate to see say if this is a problem with Firestone as a whole or if it is just this albany location... I am highly upset and just so disappointed, 3 days from Christmas too! Really!? Absolutely ridiculous

No complaints besides the fact that they told me that I needed an alignment even though I had got one done elsewhere 3 weeks prior. When I explained this, they proceeded to still try and sell me a lifetime alignment package. Good service otherwise. Would only go back for conveince

Came in to replace a tire...decent price. However, the technician found a bolt stuck in a different tire. He said I needed it replaced. But when he found out I had replacement service on it, he quickly said it can be fixed.

Long wait had to take about 2 hour walk for a oil change pretty sure they where short on help someone called in sick.

The gentleman were very helpful and great this morning. I was in and out which made it even better only bcuz I have to head back to the city.

Charles was terrific by talking me up from the high-mileage Firestone tires that I was considering to an even higher-mileage Bridgestone tire and then applying a rebate discount. Shawn was terrific at check-out by printing my inspection and service report and then explaining all of the important details to me.

Terrible experience. They lied to me about my brake pads being worn out and tried to get me to buy new ones. There was still over half the life of the brake pads left. Cant trust them, would never go back.

The receptionist was extremely rude in assisting me with my inspection. I had been told I failed and I asked them various questions as to why and they were not understanding and were rude in their responses. I ended up going to Midas where the service was exceptional. Midas had not failed me but warned me that I had almost failed because my two front tires were extremely worn, so I had them replace my tires for me. This Firestone already has low reviews on Google, I do not recommend this establishment to anyone. Please have your HR contact these employees, thank you.

Like all things car, expensive... But not much different than ordering tires online and then paying someone else to mount them... Excellent quality of work on tire replacement... Even deflated the compact spare, put it back, along with the tools I left strewn in the trunk. The trunk was even cleaned after I left it a mess by putting a gravel ridden shredded tire in there to save the rim. Thanks!

Called on Saturday to make an appointment for Tuesday. Spoke to pleasant employee who said not a problem to wait for the snows to be switched on. Arrived and no one had any record of the appointment, and was told they were too busy today (because it snowed). Taking business elsewhere.

They got me a great deal on snow tires and were cool guys. In a pretty rough neighborhood though.
