feels abandoned , there's a homless person living in the tv room for many years. it's the building maintenance persons quarters. there are many empty spaces inthe building they could use to house hime. why does a person working at the same place many years not have a place to live? the tv does'nt work and I feel like i'm invading someones home just to get out of the truck for a littlebit. I don't feel safe in the tv room that I"m paying money to be able to use. no food , there is a restaurant space but it too is empty. just sell it to someone who can do things right like petro
Scammers, $15 a day for a month converts to $1100 when picking up equipment. Avoid this place at all costs.

Look, it is what it is. Any truck stop in or close to a city, you'll have locals using it as their own personal parking lot. Dropped trailers, or 4 wheelers parked in the truck spot, in order to reserve the spot so they can come back daily and park. I didn't notice the staff was rude, but they weren't polite either. Shower is ok, but it doesn't matter how much fuel you fill, no free shower. Usually at other truck stops there will be a free shower after 75-100+ gallons of fuel is filled, not here. But don't worry, you won't be able to park anyway because it's full of the locals personal cars and dropped trailers
Showers were renovated however…. The door does not feel secure. The bathroom for myself and my teammate were not clean. Shower curtain needs to be washed. Plenty of facial hair in the sink (no attempt to wipe down). Faucet was dirty from someone brushing their teeth. Floor was not swept or mopped. Everything leading you down the hallway is outdated which would have been fine IF the bathroom was clean. You get a towel, no wash cloth, no floor mat towel. Water was hot for less than a minute then lukewarm. The staff was friendly. Other than that, I would not have given it any stars.
Great place for a shower. Staff were friendly enough and the bathrooms were clean and recently remodeled. Would recommend.
This is a place of business off the bank of the Hudson River where it appears the owners and employees do well to take care of the place and their customers as best they can. The place is pretty active and thriving. There is a fueling station, a CAT Scale, truck parking, a restaurant, a truck repair service and the place seems pretty well staffed and ready for service. They seem to take pride in the best they have to offer. Thank you. To Whom It Concerns: Carry a rake, a few rags and some trash bags and maybe help cleanup the places you stay. One person can only cleanup after hundreds of slobs only so much. How often do you really pay for parking?
Great Stop but come early. It does have limited space and there are others using the space for repairs but hey, it's their lot to use as they see fit. I stop here all the time when my schedule and timing allow. It does tend to get full by 5pm so plan ahead. Great access to Historic Albany. I walk into downtown all the time for exercise and a some good food. Have never been hassled here one bit and the staff is professional & courteous. My two cents, enjoy!

Great place clean shower is updated n clean laundry n lounge n very nice people plus has a restaurant open 24hrs plenty space n not busy like any other truck spots

plaza 23 truck stop is awesome place to go they always have everything i need and you should come and check out their new and updated showers. all owners and cashiers are extremely friendly and helpful make sure to give a special shout-out to kashi!
I really didnt go in but for a lighter and the cashier was very pleasant it was a guy he was very helpful and the people and it was very clean in the store very organized prices were decent I didnt eat there but I did go into the truck stop store which is part of the diner I do suppose Im not sure cuz he eat in the diner I just went in to buy a lighter oh and a pack of cigarettes

7:30 pm on a Sunday, the restaurant was closed. There is no pull- thru parking for trucks/trailers. No food, only snacks in the gas station portion. Gas prices were average for the area. There were showers and a coin laundry.
Great place to fuel up and park. But they dont clean the showers once someone is done showering. I had diapers in the trash can. Someones hair in the shower and mold on the shower curtains. I was disgusted with the showers so I wouldnt eat there.
Worst truck stop i have been to - cashier inaide is rude to costumers , filled up 170 gallons of fuel and he would tell me i have to pay for shower for parking - wich i said let me talk to boss , then he wouldnt let me talk to him . Dont lose your time there , and by the way the diesel quality is very low . Dont damage your trucks
This place is very clean, has limited parking. Parking only cost $10 not bad. I went to the restaurant, lady gave me a menu ,looked it over and decided I wanted an omelette. She said no they were only serving dinner.Sad part , I was the only person in the restaurant. So I walked out. I guess Im entitled, or maybe its the fact that I have a fridge in my truck with a Walmart Salad I can eat. If you cant get what you want why spend money !!!

I mean its not the Ritz...but the water pressure is great and the breakfast sandwich from the adjoining restaurant was surprisingly delicious.

This place ROCKS...clean friendly truck stop an staff.they have onsite. Showers 4 anyone regardless if your driving 18 wheeler or a car very clean showers at a small price just the thing if you want to stop an wake up an get clean.also a onsite laundry room for anyone also.they offer great food on their hot bar or more great food in their restraunt.top it off with their good strong coffee an your trip is complete.i go here all the time with my dog.(service animal) an never once has had a complaint.h Great staff.keep up the good work.

So disappointed with the place. I went in 10 minutes before my 30 minute break ordered my club sandwich 33 minutes later here comes my order with only 5 people in the place. I wish I could show you a picture of what the sandwich looked like. Save yourself time and money stay away.

Stopped in and got fuel at 625 am after filling up I went in the store to get some ice and use the restroom. Man behind the counter was VERY rude saying I needed to hurry up. Needless to say it took me a few minutes longer than it should have. Then as I am walking out my boyfriend comes in to make sure I was ok cause it had been a few minutes well soon as he came in the man told him that he needed to hurry u0 and get what he needed and get out. N my boyfriend said dang are you closing at 630 am and man said no I need to lock the doors and take a break. Who in the world takes a break at that time of the morning when your the only employee working. I hate some peoples attitudes. Wont get no more of our hard earned money
Minimal parking maybe 15 spots half endup dropped trailers. The showers are dim and dirty in deep need of updating. Not really any real food there the restaurant has awsome french toast and very nice waitresses .
No parking .10 bucks to park.10 dollers for shower.dont know where they got bathroom picks at.i whent in to shower room .pair of dirty underwear on floor .towel was wet .poor customer service whont come back .had somebody try and open my door while i was sleeping
Love this truck stop,staff very friendly and knowledgeable helpful specially when it comes to ask question about finding your way around Miran and Ali are very very nice and friendly they allowed me to park my truck and leave it for few days plus plug it to keep the engine and fuel warm for reasonable and fair price thank you guys.
Night clerk told me unless I started buying more than just a shower I was not welcome back; if that is indeed policy, tell people up front and post signage. Either way, very rude. This place used to be nice. Will be taking my money elsewhere, though they clearly didnt want it anyway. Hope they are nicer to you truckers.

I want to retract a review I posted about six months ago. I was angry and said somethings I feel bad about now. I have since made friends with several of the employees and now I even go to church with a couple of them. The pizza is great here and I enjoy being here. Thank you all for the help you given me and the kindness youve shown me... I hope you can forgive me for the review I did before and this makes it right.

The store is small and unkept. Prices are incredibly high. Place is disorganized and run by a bunch of Easterners that could care less what their customers think. You have to pay for parking which is not listed in any directory.
Great place to eat opens at 6 a.m. closes at 8 p.m.

If you have melanin in your skin, the restaurant will take your money, but your presence is not welcome. The sence I got was take your food & go. I dont spend my money in places like this. No, I didnt leave hungry, but didnt further grace them with my acquaintance, nor did I spread commerce just wanted to get out of the truck for a while. Not deserving of any stars.

There where good at trying to get me going on the road, but when they couldnt, we limped back to the shop. This is NOT my trailer, and was not well maintained. So, here i sit.
I will never come here again. Very hostile environment. The place is nasty, the clerks are nasty, the owner looks like you are there to steal candy, $10 to park, crack pipes for sale, local project residents come and go and stare you down, I flashe my 38. Even a cup of ice cost almost $1, and the toilets dont flush properly in order to safe on the water bill. I never come back here again

The staff seemed friendly and they have fuel, a scale, and parking. C-store was a bit scant. The shower, however, was straight nasty. Someone had trimmed up their old, grey pubadubes and they were EVERYWHERE.

New owner, been going to his old place on S Pearl st.for a couple of years and never left his place disappointed. This is the right man to reopen this diner. Comfort food and pleasant company. Praying for him to become quite successful . Johns off to a good start.

People friendly. Food at restaurant was good. Restaurant is open 7days, 7am to 2pm. Arrived at 1pm and they had a limited menu because they close at 2pm (most dinners were not available but steak, hamburgers, and sandwiches available). Waitress was nice and dressed like she was going to feed the livestock on a farm but very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean. Four TVs. The store was clean. Used shower and thought it was gross...cost was $7, water was hot but there was a q-tip on floor in shower, top of shaver (razor) on ground, visible dirt in corners in bathroom, shower drain seemed clogged with hair, tape was used to hold some loose tiles, no soap or shampoo. Truckers cant park there overnight without prior permission.

Clean store nice guys good wings... Mine were fresh made. Has truck parts and additives. 7or 8 showers showers are small but clean 7$ clean towel, no soap bring your own. The place has a tv room but tv was off... I got 1 in the truck, has alcohol for those who drink, avobe average price soda milk protein energy drinks like most truck stops. Has laundry room 2 washers 2 driers both work great.

If coming in late dont expect to get good hot chow. Well lit Parking lot new modern LED lights. Parking lot was clean. Nice Air Reels at all pump locations for filling tires. Nice Fuel desk person 5 , Fast Pumps 5 , Tile floor in C-store 2 need new tile and no one has buffed it in a long while. I came in at 6pm Restaurant was closed hours m-f 0600-1400; weekends 08:00-1400 so I came to this place because I wanted a sit down meal so 0 Restaurant because of hours. It might be good food but I cant tell because they are closed. Food on counter was getting old pizza was turning into mummified mystery food. After I got out of shower a new pizza was there One hot soup container looked very good the other ? So 2 . shower was clean a little on the small side is a 3 1/2 .
