I wish I didn t even have to give him a star. Bought my jeep from him few days later had to take it in for engine light. He supposedly fixed it. Only a month later going in shop for a $4200 repair. Since that repair I ve had to put another $1300 just to keep it running. I m still looking at an estimated $2000 repair cost at minimum. Stay clear from this dealership

Jay is a con artist at its finest I took my car in while under warranty he ran it under his computer then cleared the codes and told me nothing was wrong after I asked for a printout he refused now this is present day I get in a car crash and lose my eye because my transmission failed when I asked him for the uploaded report he refused DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS LOT JBR IS A JOKE

Jay is terrible. He wanted me to agree to the price of a car before I even test drove the car (2013 Honda Accord Coupe ex-l). Online the car looks spotless and in mint condition. But in person, the car had a cracked emblem, scratches along the side, scrapes on one rim, a small dent in the rear bumper as well as some tears in the interior. He wants $12,900 for this car when of you go on numerous car websites it states the car is worth $11,000 and thats without any cosmetic damage. Car Max prices the car at $8,800 and again thats even if it didnt have all the expensive and extensive cosmetic damage. Before I even saw the car he wanted tp agree on a price and would only go down $400 when repairing the cosmetic damage alone would cost $2k. He tried to rip me off and work me on my first car and I do not appreciate it.

I would recommend JBR to anyone looking for a good-priced, used car. I bought a 2016 Kia Forte and it runs great and was clean. The battery in the car did start smoking about a week after I bought the car, but I called Jay and he told me to drive right there and he replaced the battery for me right away, at no charge. Very personable and helpful without being pushy. Great experience!

Buy a car from this place at your own peril. He is a snake oil salesman. If you see something you like, take it to your mechanic before buying. Be very, very careful of this place.

Jay always answered his phone and got things done quickly so I could get my new truck on the road. Wasn t any pressure at all. I had a friend who knows his stuff look over the truck for any issues. While there there were some minor dings and quirks to the truck, it is a 2012 and it s to be expected with used vehicles, as long as you get an opinion from someone who knows cars, it s a pretty easy process. Jay doesn t BS or try to sell you. Very laid back. Don t overlook this dealer, especially in this high demand car and truck market.

Jay is the used car salesman that defies expectations. can you imagine a used car salesman with a soul? one who sells reasonably priced vehicles for reasonable prices? i bought a big old truck from him several years ago, and its got 250K on it. that says something about old chevys but it also means this guy is not trying to sell lemons. if I ever have any money again, Im going to go JBR.

Bought a car about 2 months ago was told the car was good to go and passed inspection yet have had to replace front brakes because they were grinding and faling apart and now it was towed to a garage from the rear brake hose blowing out. Make sure you get a 2nd opinion before purchasing a vehicle here.

Jay was helpful with the whole process because I didn t know what to do. He recommended a lender and I got a great rate through them. He says I can stop by anytime he will answer questions. Jay sold me a fair priced 2011 Kia Optima with 83K miles, 4 months and 5K miles later I ve had zero mechanical issue & have only had to do typical oil maintenance. When I was having a difficult time finding a lender, he called a bank and got me qualified in under 5 minutes, with a 6%, SIX PERCENT interest rate! I was amazed, and incredibly happy as my previous vehicle had already been junked due to engine failure. Jay took good care of me & worked with my short time frame, he s very friendly & you can tell he takes pride in his business both professionally and personally with customers. When I did the test drive the brakes seemed a little spongy so he put in brand new ones, he also charged the A/C because I felt it could be stronger, him doing both those things eased my mind knowing I wasn t being duped by another car salesman who just wanted to take the money and call it a day, like I ve had previous experiences with. I bought a 2008 Infiniti G35x from Jay. I had originally came to his shop to look at a 2014 Q50 S, but he advised me on the G35x, it being my first car and all. Jay was super helpful and accommodating. I was able to get the car financed and registered all from him; he took care of everything. Couple weeks later I had a brake problem. Jay took care of everything, got new parts installed and everything. All in all I had a very pleasurable buying experience. Jays a really cool dude. He is an honest man with an honest business and I 100% recommend buying a car from him.

Jay was a smooth talker. I bought a car from in the end on April. It is not December and I had to replace 2 tires (which I expressed concern about to the dealer) call AAA 3 times (for tire and charging issues), and now I am being told that because it is 8 months later I am no longer in warranty and lemon law does not apply. This is all shady because the mileage the dealer expressed is on the purchase agreement is MORE than the mileage on the car currently. This is NOT. A place I recommend you spending your hard earned money at especially if your a single mother with a small business and a busy life that does not allow for babysitting a professional car dealer and his tricks. I will be exploring my legal options so save your self time and money by shopping elsewhere!!!

So, I purchased a vehicle from Jay about a month ago. Immediately I fell in love with a 2015 Nissan Versa on the lot with a little over 60k miles on it and there was no way I was leaving without it! I spoke to Jay telling him my situation (I was in an accident ultimately totaling my previous car and desperately needed a vehicle that my insurance check would allow me to afford) and he was more than willing to work with me. I got in the car and it was in great condition which admittedly caught me by surprise. Jay took me on a test drive, explaining the features of the car (which weren t much because I went for a pretty basic model due to affordability)and I knew this wasn t your average buy here, pay here dealer. Jay was extremely knowledgeable and professional from beginning to end and I was able to drive off the lot within 2-3 hours of seeing and test driving it. My title and registration came promptly after finalizing my sale at JBR and I can say I couldn t be happier with my decision. I ve worked in Albany for 8 years and I ve always passed and dismissed this dealership, until now. GREAT bargains and definitely great service, I would absolutely consider returning for another vehicle from Jay, when the time comes of course.

I had been shopping around for an older used truck, and as the day went on I eventually tired of pushy salesmen and lots full of cars I didnt want. I did a quick Google before heading home and saw JBR nearby and thought Ill go to one more. They had exactly what I was looking for at an extremely fair price. Jay was super cool and great to work with. He presented what he had for sale, but didnt try to lasso me in or demand cash down for god knows what. There were no extra or hidden fees and he also facilitated a pleasant financing experience. Long story long I have a sick new [to me] truck and a good experience. Me and my wife bought two cars from JBR auto from six months ago. Since then we are broke , every second day we have to take our cars to mechanic . He is a fraud , I recommend people pl dont buy used cars from JBR and if you really want to buy then first show it to mechanic. I dont know how he passed the investigation on one of my car . Because everyday its showing signs on dash board and we are not able to pass inspection this year and now its standing outside our house and I am going by bus to work. It costs us 1000 s of dollars.

My girlfriend bought a car here a few months ago. We ve driven over 3,000 miles since purchasing the vehicle and have had 0 issues. Jay included an oil change, brake service, and of course detailed the vehicle after the deposit was placed and before we picked it up. We were looking for months for the right car and Jay had the nicest one around for a competitive price. All other cars on the lot seemed just as nice. Ok, I was in the market for a good pre-owned car. I was originally going to go for a Nissan Altima for around $12-13,000 somewhere else. But I only had half the money. Realizing I didn t want to owe a lone, I decided to keep looking for something more in my budget. After looking all over, I found JBR Auto that had the perfect car for me. Ironically he also had a Nissan Altima at a great price too. However, I decided to go for a decent car but wanted 60-70k miles for a little less than half the price I was originally going for.
