Capital Vacuum s customer service and repair team are excellent at sales and servicing and are super responsive to any questions about any type of vacuum. I have a Destination Travel Trailer that has central vacuuming with a 30 foot long extension hose that came apart where the accessories attach and I couldn t figure out how to reattach it but they were able to resolve it and show me how to use it for future - they were soooo helpful and considerate of my lack of knowledge about it.

Today, we brought our Shark vacuum to have looked at by a very nice gentleman. We told him the roller didn t turn. He looked over the vacuum, said it could be the motor. He asked if he could try it out on some indoor store carpet. As soon as he turned it on, the roller turned and worked just fine! We discovered that we didn t have the vacuum set in the correct position! Despite our embarrassment, we were never charged a dime by him for taking time to help us , Once this vacuum is no longer with us, we will purchase our next vacuum from them. Service like this is nonexistent today! Please pay a visit to them, you won t be disappointed.

My electrolux canister vacuum, which is over 40 years old broke. I only wanted to replace it with an electrolux. I called Capital Vacuums and they were great. I was able to purchase a canister electroluk. They were great and I highly recommend them.

As far as I am concerned. The only place you need to go for vacuums is capital vacuums. I had fought with the bissell company for 16 days to get a replacement belt for a 2 month old vacuum and still not seen the replacement belt. The owner John was so nice and professional that he fixed my bissell for no charge while I waited. Either for purchasing a new vacuum or for repair of a vacuum. You should not go to any other place. Then, capital vacuums.

I stopped in on the spur of the moment to see if they serviced my type of vacuum....they did. They fixed one of my vacs and honestly told me the other needed to be buried. I ended up purchasing another vacuum ( a girl can never have too many vacuums). They were professional and helpful. I will continue to utilize them for all my vacuum needs.

I recently took in a couple vacuums for repair. After seeing the Sebo on display, I decided to trade in one of my vacuums for it. They added bags and a long dryer cleaning nozzle to the bargain. The second used vacuum I had brought for repair they had ready in days. They were polite dealmakers and I purchased another Miele. This has been working very well ever since. I returned to Capital Vacuum with an old vacuum which had a blown motor after an unfortunate instance of me forgetting to put a bag in. Josh and the crew at Capital Vacuums swapped in a fresh motor and its running as well as ever. Thank You Again Capital Vacuums !

I stopped into Capital Vacuum because I thought I had broken the canister to my Dyson. I couldn t get it back on to the main body. Josh very quickly had the technician look at it and was able to fix it in 5 min. I also got a Demonstration of a new cordless vacuum by Simiplicity. What amazing customer service Capital Vacuums has! The church Seba vacuum was having issues so I took it in, hoping it could be be fixed in a week for the next cleaner. Josh knew right away what the problem was and fixed it on the spot with replacement parts that were under warranty. It works great now! To get good service anywhere these days is difficult to find but this far exceeded my expectations. Josh is my hero!

John, and the other guys there, are FANTASTIC! He educated me about the two models I was looking at, threw in a bunch of extra stuff and gave me the best price I could find. When I asked if I could trade in a stock part for an extension hose, it was no problem. When my dog ate the stock part before I could get there, he still agreed to the extension hose, for FREE!

The staff at Capital Vacuum has consistently been able to address our home vacuum needs through the years. This started with repairing the Kirby and eventually we purchased a Sebo X7 from them and are very happy with it and their support.

I had taken my uncles vacuum in to get serviced for a cleaning due to clogging and overall build up of litter and animal hair in the roller area. The customer service was excellent and they explained everything and kept up amazing communication. It looked almost brand new with a new filter and they explained how to properly maintain this bagless vacuum moving forward. They were so generous when I had difficulty paying due to my own negligence that they accepted the cash only which was over a $15 difference from the owed amount. Only reason I did not give a full 5 stars, was when my uncle and I inspected the roller part underneath, and although we understand its tough to clean, there was clumped built up litter right at the opening that I ended up clearing myself at home. It was the main concern along with clogging due to cleanliness, so just a bit disappointing to have to scrape it out myself. Other than that, these guys are very attentive to your needs and very professional.

Terrible experience. Capital Vacuums lost an expensive attachment for my vacuum ($130) nearly two months ago and there has not been a resolution. The owner stated that he would purchase me a new one but that has yet to happen. Phone calls about this situation go unreturned.

I recently purchased a Sebo vacuum cleaner from Capital Vacuums. Excellent service. John went over all aspects of the machine and explained how to use the machine. I love this vacuum cleaner. Excellent power and suction on rugs and The transition to wooden floors is smooth. Also easy to use on carpet on stairs. The machine is light and maneuvers smoothly. My experience at Capital Vacuum Albany NY was great. John the owner is very knowledgeable and sold me a Riccar superLite vacuum cleaner. Great power in the vacuuming my carpets and is light weight and easy to handle.

I brought my Kenmore vacuum to Capital Vacuums hoping it could be repaired. Sadly, Josh said it couldn t - I ve had it for 20 years so I wasn t surprised (but still disappointed). I purchased a vacuum from Capitial Vacuums more than a year ago. Over that vacuum has had heavy use and still works great so I can attest to the quality of the product. I will also say the service the store offers is invaluable to maintaining the equipment. Routine maintenance and cleaning were covered under warranty, which gave me peace of mind with a sizable purchase for my budget. If you normally buy your vacuum from a big box store you should consider the extras that come with the specialists at Capital Vacuums.

I like Capital Vacuum because they carry high quality vacuum cleaners like Riccar, which I have not seen in Big Box stores. I also like the fact that the owner is not only knowledgeable but friendly and helpful. I love my Clean Max vacuum cleaner - it is the best one I have ever had and I would recommend Capital Vacuum to anyone who is is looking for a new vacuum cleaner.

Both John and Josh were fantastic to deal with. Having done a lot of research I came in with a list of questions about the Miele line. John took his time, answering every question fully. At no time was there any pressure to buy that day. John easily beat the online retailer price and then some. There s a reason for the numerous repeat customers I watched step through the door of Johns store during my visit, each complimenting capital vacuums in one way or another. John earned our business for any maintenance or bags we may need in the future.

Great place for service, demos, and equipment. I had trouble with my Miele stick vacuum and they worked with the manufacturer to get me the filter assembly in no time.

I used to bring in my cheap vacuums there to get serviced and fixed. Staff was always friendly and knowledgeable. This February 2022 I finally took the plunge and bought a Sebo Felix from them and I have been floored (I like puns) by the product, warranty and level of care from staff. Great team!
