Wow! After a major water disaster affecting 4 floors of our townhouse, KPM was on the scene within hours when other companies impersonal answering service were saying essentially “take a number.” The service and response was immediate, personal, ongoing, consistent, professional, competent, and caring. We were put at ease at once with their taking the reins of the situation and making sure they did everything they could every day for more than a week to make sure they were minimizing the damage. Thank you, thank you, thank you, especially Dan and Jake! We give KPM our highest recommendation.
We had a flooded basement after heavy rains that soaked a carpet and the base of the walls (basement is finished) and contacted KPM. They sent a detailed quote for cleanup, which involved water removal, taking out the soaked carpet (which we elected to remove rather than dry out and keep, as it was 20 years old), and removing the lower section of the walls where it had gotten wet and some mold was present. They put us in touch with Adirondack Basement and coordinated with them to install a new drainage system and do some other work to restore the basement. They responded quickly and when some of the work was not to our initial satisfaction (having to do with temporarily removing molding, which caused some damage) they came back out in short order and did a great job fixing it properly-- no pushback at all. The crew who came (both visits) were courteous and committed to doing the job right. Not cheap-- but highly recommend.

There isn’t much worse than waking up to a flooded basement, but thankfully I found KPM Albany! When I called Mena was very calming and helped ease my fears. She sent the project manager Jeremy and his crew of guys to my home. Within an hour they were in the basement pumping out the water and vacuuming, setting up fans and dehumidifiers. In the end it wasn’t as bad as expected, I suspect in large part to this wonderful company.
Jason and his co-worker did an amazing job at our house! We had mold in our attic found by an inspector, Kim quickly set up and appointment and the process was quick and easy. They left 0 mess for us to worry about & even gave good care to our dogs :) we would 100% recommend him & his coworker to anyone we know!! They absolutely deserve it!
A tenant of mine had a sewage backup in the basement of the property. I had worked with KPM once before, and had a positive experience so I called them again. Once again they did a fantastic job. This company could have lead me along and dragged the process out just for the money. Instead of taking the job, they told me the truth that they were booked another 4 weeks out and gave me referrals for two other businesses. Very professional and a good indicator that this is an A1 company.
Our home in Loudonville had a clogged pipe to our septic system which caused a backup that flooded the basement. We called KPM Restoration Albany and they were at my house in 45 minutes. The cleanup work was very tough, but they guys did an outstanding job. Professional and hard working crew. I highly recommend them.
KPM Restoration Albany came to my rescue. They were quick to respond to my call when I had water damage in my attic during a storm. They had the right technology to assess the full extent of the water intrusion before going up into the attic and removing the wet insulation to dry things out before the situation got worse. Highly recommend this company, they actually want to help instead of getting as much money out of the customer as possible.
I had a leaking air conditioner on the second floor that had water dripping through the floor into the ceiling for 10 hours before anyone noticed. There was dirty water everywhere. We called late Saturday night and KPM was there early Sunday morning. They had sensors to check exactly where all the water had pooled inside the ceiling and had equipment to dry it out. It was set up within an hour and the fans dried everything out within a couple of days. I d recommend KPM Restoration Albany for any water damage situation. They come quickly, are prepared and professional.
Service was excellent. The emergency line took my information and I was called back within 10 minutes by Dan. He was great on the phone and dispatched Rob and Marty. Once they arrived they went right to work and cleanup up the aftermath of a very extensive sewage leak. I cant thank them enough for the effort they put forth. From the time we first contacted Marty at KPM to the finish, he went over and above to help us with our mold issue in our basement. He addressed all of our concerns and questions which, as we found out, was a major project. The crew did a thorough job remediating the mold which was rampant throughout our whole basement. Duke, our dog, chewed through a toilet water service line and flooded our home...it involved sheet rock repair, insulation, trim, carpet and flooring. They came in and got mitigation going right away. They did a good job getting us back to where we were. Special hats off to the crew that packed up our belongings and moved them out and then back in. As a home inspector I ve been referring this business for years. I only have received positive feed back of their work, professionalism and prices. Recently I ve had a flood in my basement during the last downpour we had over the summer. I egress window was allowing water to dump into my finished basement. Other restoration businesses advised I would have to replace all the sheet rock from the floor up. Kpm cut the sheet rock up 3 ft. Dried out the moisture from behind the walls and cleaned and encapsulated the mold that was growing. Kpm saved me thousands. They helped me and my family as the basement was not habitable at all.
