I got greeted in a very friendly manner by Carlton, and then the woman at the reception was also super nice. Carlton helped me look at my car and was very honest and helpful. He had someone else fix a small thing on my car and I was able to pay a fraction of the cost just out of pocket.

Ive used Glenville Terrace twice, once for a non-insurance job and once via insurance. Its prices seemed in line with todays prices, they were friendly, accommodating, and most critically did fine work.

They did a very good job with my vehicle. I have no complaints about my results. The repairs were excellent and they cleaned the vehicle inside and out before returning it. I took off 1 start for the following reasons: - No after-hours drop-off or pick-up - A small repair took over 3 weeks - Communication was inconsistent, promised callbacks didnt always happen. - called the day before, car was promised at 3 the next day. - next day, called at noon, told car wouldnt be ready. To their credit, after I explained the inconvenience, they managed to have the car ready before closing.

Had a great experience here! It originally came recommended from my insurance company, but I will absolutely be using them again (but hopefully not for any body damage repair any time soon !) and recommending them to friends. The staff were welcoming, helpful, and communicative, I received updates and clear info, and when the repairs were done quickly - and perfectly. I was blown away that my car came back to me so clean and like new!

I was initially unhappy with the service I received as the mechanic was fixing my my rear passenger window and disconnected the door handle to the latch that opens the door (it could not be opened from the inside) so I had to come back. The team fixed this in a short amount of time and cleaned my vehicle for me at no cost.

I came to this auto body shop on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, to have my car repaired. Initially, I felt a bit puzzled due to an unfavorable situation. However, I needed to get coffee from the nearby shop, and I requested assistance in this regard. The elderly man inside the body shop stated that he would call a tow truck and insisted that if I wanted to get my car repaired, I needed to enter and wait in line. During this time, I felt pressured to enter and initiate the process. This situation saddened and surprised me. I left the establishment, but instead of sharing a negative experience, I opted for a more objective approach to help everyone understand possible experiences. Im sharing this to assist others in making their own decisions. I hope this review proves useful to future customers.

I had my cars front bumper repaired at this body shop, and they did a fantastic job fixing it very neatly. However, the only downside was that there was a very small gap in the wheel fender plastic part. Nevertheless, its something I can overlook. They also cleaned every part of my car very thoroughly, so I was really satisfied.

Very honest guys and made a couple of nice repairs on my vehicles. Nothing but nice things to say!

Brought my car in after it was hit in a parking lot to replace the bumper, and the fellow who hit me wanted to handle it outside insurance. Barry and his team helped me with advice to protect myself, and were very open about everything on the estimate, giving me additional context on things which could be broken under the bumper that they couldnt see yet, and why they suspected they might be damaged. In the end, none of these were broken, so the actual cost was significantly less than the estimate. But it was great knowing there would be no unexpected costs being added to the estimate. Furthermore, they even cleaned inside my car for me without charge/me asking. My car hasnt looked so good since I bought it. A different repair shop had spilled paint on my steering wheel, and these guys even offered to remove it for me. All around, Im very pleased with the quality of work and the honesty with this business. Plus, everyone there is fun to chat with!

By far the friendliest and most helpful body shop Ive ever been to. Everyone was incredibly patient and willing to answer any questions I had. When it came to cost they were very transparent. Its also the only body shop Ive been to that has multiple female employees. I really cant say enough good things!

Timely service (<4 days to repair a bumper), pretty good communication and they really care about your vehicle (they clean it inside and out before returning it!). Price is probably a bit high, but it s covered by insurance and it s worth going to!

I believe you won t find an auto body shop of such honest and professional service like these guys. I highly recommend Glenville Terrance. Long story short- my side mirror got hit overnight. Thankfully the mirror did not come off but there was damage done. Toyota quoted me for an entire replacement. While coming to GT Auto for a second opinion, I got an honest opinion to just try to replace a piece of the mirror. Turns out it worked and I saved over $600. If you want an honest and professional auto body shop, come here.

I came in with some paint and scratches on the side of the car. They saw me quickly, used several products to clean and buff, and left the corner looking at 90% of where it had been before. And it was free! The nice gentleman even refused a tip. Highly recommend.

Overall excellent experience. Brought in my car for a minor collision repair and they communicated very well, gave me accurate estimates of how long repairs would take, and even got the job done earlier than expected which was a huge plus. The repair itself was excellent and the car looks as good as new. I highly recommend this body shop, if (knock on wood) I need repairs again in the future, they will be my first choice!

I dropped my car in that place that Liberty Mutual suggested to me, after I was waiting for more than 13 days they call me and said the car is ready to pick up. I went there but car was not ready . This is the second time that I had have bad issues ..

They had my car for 3 weeks for insurance repairs. In that time they did zero work whatsoever and refused to work on the car and demanded I pick up my car and take my business elsewhere. They also lied and claimed I cussed out a staff member which NEVER HAPPENED. Liars and cheats. They stole money from the insurance company and did no work on the car.

Went here because my insurance company recommended it after someone hit me. They changed the time estimate 3-4 times but I had to call every time to find out. They kept it longer to fix a broken windshield fluid container, but I got it back and its still busted and leaking through the bottom. Super disappointed that now I have to take it somewhere else after they already kept my car for 2 weeks.

Came to replace a broken side mirror. On Thursday, the front desk person said it would be done by early next week, say Tuesday. I called them on Tuesday, and the repair guy said that it would be done by Friday. Had to pay an extension fee for the rental car. I called again on Friday, the front desk person said it would be done by Saturday. I returned my rental car, so I had to cancel an important meeting that night. Would they finish their work on Saturday? Who knows, at this point I cant trust their words. EDIT: The owner came to talk and was honest about the issue, and reimbursed the rental car fee. There is an ongoing issue with the front bumper scratch when they took out the front plate, will update.

The body work done here on my 2021 Volkswagen Atlas, after a fender bender, was perfection. They dealt with the insurance company and rental car agency directly. They made the process easy and seamless. Highly recommend.

Excellent communication, repair work, customer service, COVID-19 protocols. We replaced our front bumper due to a minor scratch and small dent. I would recommend this business.

I brought my car to Glenville Terrace Auto Body two weeks ago to have a gash taken care of where I swiped a concrete pillar in the garage at work. I met with Barry Hynes, the owner, who was great to deal with. He gave me a reasonable price. There were some other minor items, which he agreed to take care of without adding on extra charges. He gave me a reasonable time frame and delivered when he said he would. He arranged for a rental car with a very reasonable rate. I had some overspray still on the car from when Glenville did body work 3 years ago. At the time they asked me to bring it back so they could fix it. I got busy and did not return with the car. Barry was happy to take care of it now, no questions asked. Others might have said, sorry the warranty is over. Or, it s been 3 years, how do we know that we caused that. I have done business with them on at least 2 other occasions since early 2019, once for body work on this car, and another time for body work on my second car, which I have since sold. I have had great experiences each time. On the car that I sold I just wanted to clean up some stuff and not spend a lot of money. They never tried to over-sell me. The owner takes a lot of pride in his company and in his reputation. They stand behind their work, no questions asked. I don t like to see reviews where people complain that some little thing got missed. What they do in restoring cars can be a bit subjective and needs to be collaborative. If you are not happy, tell them and they will fix it. What more could one ask for. I am pleased to see that they are still the same great company that I remember.

They answered all my questions and kept me updated about the repair logistics more than the insurance company. They advocated for all the repairs to be covered by the other persons insurance G company without really needing me to get involved! My car looked brand new after the repairs! I went to Toyota dealership to have them waterproof my trunk and they were extremely unhelpful and I paid a lot of money to not have my trunk fixed. I then took it to Glenville Terrace Auto Body and Carlton was extremely helpful. He explained to me what the problem was a very quickly and efficiently took care of it within 5 minutes. Such a great experience. I then recommended my roommate who also had a wonderful experience and was very carefully explained her issue and what their plan was.

Frank and all other staff members I spoke to were very genuine, clarified any questions/concerns I had and took the time to walk me through the process. Did a great job with my car. They also settled an issue I had with my insurance. They definitely took their time but it seems like it was worth it.

My leased car was rear ended beginning of May this year and I had to return it mid May. It was bad timing and when I brought it into Glenville, the assistant looked and said they will try their best to have it repaired in time to meet my lease end date. I know it was a rush and a stretch. But the next day Barry, the owner, called to update me and I told him I had to return the car in less than 2 weeks. He said theyll try their best. He called me to update me several times during the week and towards the end of the week, he said it would be done early next week. Which was perfect because that gave me a couple of days to remove the belongings before returning the car. I really appreciate them expediting this for me and the rear bumper and trunk looked brand new!

Despite being in the middle of a pandemic, while other shops were just closed down, glenville Terrace was able to take my car in and get started on fixing extensive front end damage. They ran over the estimated time frame quite a bit, but did a great job and kept the costs on budget.

Best place for service

Slow turnaround time and inexperienced kids working on cars. Took 10 days for them to repair and paint my back bumper after scheduling a month in advance. The clearcoat is already peeling after 6 months. Take your business elsewhere.

The front left mirror and rear bumper needed to be replaced on my 2014 Crosstrek. Everyone at Glenville Terrace Auto Body were friendly, personable, and professional. The repairs were finished within just a few days, and the quality of the work was excellent. And they even washed my car and cleaned the interior - which was sorely needed, although I did not request it. This extra service was greatly appreciated!

A friend recommended Glenville Terrace Auto Body after the passenger side of my car was hit. Barry and Frank worked with me to decide what was best for my 12 year old car. They were patient, understanding, honest, and very transparent about the work they could do and what I could expect to pay. They answered all my questions and provided updates about when my car would be ready. Needing to get my car repaired was a very stressful experience but Barry and Frank (and the whole team at Glenville Terrace) were truly a bright spot in an overall bad situation. I would go back

I had to get a new drivers side mirror, which went without a hitch. Where they went above and beyond was cleaning the whole car, inside and out! I wasnt expecting that with this kind of repair, and it helped lessen the blow of needing a new mirror. The total repair cost was also $200 less here than I was quoted at the dealership!

Great experience at Glenville Terrace. Repair took less than a week and came out great. I dont know they were so fast because theyre that good or because business has been slow because of Covid, but either way I would recommend this body shop to anyone.

A superb, five-star experience in every way: 1. Glenville completed the work quickly, completely, and well. They even argued with the insurance company to get an extra tire as mine was slightly damaged in the crash. The car looks like new. 2. Great customer service. When the manager saw my car (looking great) he immediately sent it back in because the interior vacuuming (!) was not up to his standard. He also had one of his guys drive it to a tire shop for me when that work needed to be done. 3. Seems like a happy, cohesive workplace. I know not everyone cares about this as a customer, but everyone who works at Glenville seems excited to be there. I overheard a negotiation between a mechanic and the boss about one repair that had taken longer than expected. The boss: you be fair, and Ill be fair -- how many extra hours do you think this was? They resolved it in 2 minutes with a laugh. Nice to see!

These guys fixed up my car for an insurance claim, and despite being just an insurance customer they were very personable and had no issues helping me with any of my questions. Good, clean work, and it was done fast.

I took my 2012 Volvo S60 here to replace my left headlights, front bumper, and left fender. The staff were professional and courteous. Unfortunately, after fixing my car, they had a little incident that resulted in damage to the paint on my right rear quarter panel and right rear door. Accidents happen. Thats why I was there in the first place. Whats important is how a business handles their mistakes, and they handled it with class. They owned their mistake, sincerely apologized, and fully repaired the damaged area. To show their remorse and make it up to me, they also repaired some existing damage to my back bumper for free and cleared up some clouding on my headlight lens. Ive done some amateur bodywork on my own cars and had shops do work in the past, and the quality of their work impressed me. Its clear that they put effort into masking and prep work. The result is a perfect paint match and no orange peel, overspray, or transition lines. Great work, guys. Ill keep you in mind for the future.

I had work done twice by Glenville - April of 2019 and March of 2020. Both times, I encountered significant delays and broken promises as to when the work was going to be completed. The delays were 3 days the first time and a week and a half for the second time. This month, I dropped it off on Monday, March 2nd and was promised Friday, March 6th. That pushed into Tuesday, March 10th, then the 11th, then 12th at 11am, then the 12th at 12:30. As I paid for my own rental, this was quite frustrating and expensive When I finally got it back they missed work that needed to be done, and the paint job in some areas needed to be redone as it was bubbling and flaking off. Fortunately, I happened to be greeted by the owner who was attentive, understanding, and stood by his companys work. He also listened to my concerns about the schedule and assured me he would talk to the project manager. At this point, Im not sure if I will go back. The only reason I would is that the owner actually stands behind their work and is attentive to customer concerns. I dont have much faith in the rest of the office however. I did feel like I was just one of many and more of a bother than an actual client.

Super friendly staff did excellent work in almost no time, and returned my car to me in perfect condition and spotlessly cleaned. Having to bring your car to a body shop isnt something anyone wants to do, but these folks made it a painless, pleasing experience. Highly recommended!

I brought my car in because a piece of trim had come loose after our most recent ice storm. They fixed it for me in 15 minutes at no charge. Their front desk attendant was exceedingly pleasant, as well. When I eventually do need auto body services they have my business for life.

This place is excellent. Ive been there twice for different issues and had a great experience both times. They completely re-did the front of my car after I hit a deer, and also replaced a malfunctioning fan that was staying on and draining my car battery. They explain everything to you and dont try to hamstring you like so many other places. Highly, highly recommend!
