There are many who are wary, with good reason, when seeking automotive help from businesses. Brown's is one of those rare businesses that harkens back to times when you were treated with respect, fairly, and given an honest price. They are simply the best when it comes to auto damage, make them your first and only stop. When the receptionist is so attentive as to offer to change the TV channel because of violence on it while you wait with your young child, you know you are in a good business that will take care of you.
Had a great experience with Lori and Michael. I had damage to my vehicle by a deer. They got me in quickly and repairs were done pretty quickly. The collection department did a great job!!!
Mike did an excellent job on my car. And when I got it back it was clean and shining. you can’t even see where the damage was. I would definitely use them again if I had to.
Very, very disappointed with the work done on my 2023 F-150. I hit a turkey and shattered my entire windshield, which left glass dust & shards all inside my cabin. I ordered/bought the truck a few months ago through Brown’s, so figured I’d go with them for my repair- after having repairs done, the inside of my truck wasn’t cleaned at all. There were shards of glass in my backseat, glass dust all over the place and even a half empty can of glass cleaner spray in my backseat upon pickup! Called back afterward and let them know the situation, to which they had me come back for additional cleaning. After a second (rushed) cleaning, there’s STILL glass dust & pieces in my backseat. My glass dust-covered sunglasses were still untouched in my side compartment! Had to come home and vacuum/clean everything myself. Incredibly frustrating- when I had a minor fender bender a handful of years ago, my entire truck was cleaned and detailed by a different collision center. This time at Brown’s, with a completely shattered windshield, they barely even vacuumed the mess of glass remnants out of my cabin, let alone clean anything up! Crazy! Dealing with rep Todd was great, don’t want to complain about him, but the rest of the experience was awful!
Dropped my 5th wheel off at Browns for J wrap repair. Had to call them every week. It took 2 weeks just to be told Forest River doesn’t have my parts. Then I had to call to see what thff we y were going to do to fix . Just kept getting the run around by Rich…. Terrible communication and terrible customer service.
This company came to our rescue when we had to have a polypropylene black tank from our travel trailer repaired due to multiple cracks. We were going on a week long camping trip in our RV in one week. (Due to the pandemic labor and supply shortages a new tank was not available). Rick the manager was quick to allay our fears and said they could fix the cracks. The repair took a little longer and a little more cost than expected (originally est. quoted) but was done very well and we were very pleased with the results. We would recommend them.
I had a deep scratch on 2018 VW Tiguan mirror. I stopped in on 2/24/21 to schedule a quote. The service advisor michael came out right away looked at the mirror, took some photos and had a quote back to me in 5 minutes. The price was very reasonable and fair. I dropped my car off on Monday 03/01/21 and picked it up on 03/02/21. They washed and vacuumed my car out, plastic covers on the steering wheel and seat with a floor mat. I would absolutely recommend browns collision to anyone 10/10 Service
Brown's did our repairs in just a few days. The vehicle was returned in awesome condition. Looked like a brand new car inside and out. The staff was friendly and offered to stay open an extra 15 mins because of my commute to the center to pick up my car. Recommending to everyone that needs repairs. Lou D
This place is professional, their crew is very friendly and Ive had work done on my vehicle twice in the last 6 months since deer like to run into cars. I recommend this location in Amsterdam.
Go somewhere else. This place does not do a good job. They left this rusted roof plate tacked on the roof of my RV with the sealing compound when resealing the roof. They didnt even tell me about it.
Horrible quality of service. Horrible customer service. I would not recommend this facility to repair anything. Its a long list of issues that Id rather not regurgitate here, a lot of people have hit the issues that I would mention.

Absolutely awesome if you are ocd about your vehicles being repaired they do an amazing job. They specialize in motorhomes. Shop is hospital clean. Everyone is friendly courteous and very outgoing.

If you ever need any body work done in the area (Amsterdam and surrounding towns), this is definitely the place to go! Ive been here with my vehicles about four times because people like to hit dark colored cars that are hard to see in front of snow banks... a little sarcasm to brighten everyones day. Each and every time Ive been here, the staff has been nothing but amazing and friendly. Their quotes/estimates for repair jobs are under 30 minutes or so, and pretty on the money in terms of what the potential cost will be (pun not intended). They even have their own fleet of rental vehicles if you need a loaner car and only cost about $11 per day if I remember correctly. Of course, the actual body work they do is great! With the last job they did for me, they blended the paint along the body panels and after the bumper so nothing looked off. They were even nice enough to give the car a full detail inside and out! Who knew my paint job had metallic flakes in it? I dont think Ive ever seen my WRX look so good!

I had a great experience with Brown s Collision Center. I called my insurance company and they said that to go to Brown s Collision Center in Amsterdam New York because they are the best and they guarantee there work as long as you own the vehicle. I said ok and called to set up a appointment and when I got there I met with Mike who told me that they would know by that day what it would cost and they would be in touch with my insurance company and they would let me know by text or phone call every step of the way. When the vehicle was done it looked great. I recommend Brown s for all your body work

Recently had warranty work done on our Jayco motorhome. The appointment to get in for the body work was quick. I was surprised to get a call from them that the work was done already in less than a week and a half. All of the staff were polite and professional. I would recommend if you need body work on your camper.
