This man is disgusting and so rude. They towed my car and I told him I would pay the tow the next day. He refused to release it. Now he's telling to come get my car for 600. Or he's crushing my car. He called my lein holder when my lein holder told him they weren't coming to get it he started texting me nastily saying to bring him the title because my lein holder is coming. (My lein holder never called and said that he called them saying they needed to come get the car because I has no intention of getting it). This guy is crazy, unprofessional and disgusting. DON'T ever go here.
This guy is racist . He is not a good businessman . Was was going to New York City . On the highway My car broke down. Car alternator died. Some way I googled and found his address. He price me $325 to change alternator and ask him a discount. He said no discount. I ask him please I have my family with me and 2 toddlers. Can you do it for $300 ? He said no . Than I said ok fix it please . He refused to fix because I ask him discount. I think I am Indian that’s why he didn’t fix . Now I can’t go to New York City that 200 miles away until I get any mechanic I find that cost me more money and time .
So thankful for these guys. I was staying for the night in town after a long drive from North Carolina. My car had a minor issue and they helped me right away. They are genuine, kind, knowledgable, and did a great job. Would definitely recommend them!
We got a recommendation from the gas attendant onI I-90 to go to Altieri's to charge our AC. They took us ri+ght in, tested the system and gave us a charge at the end of the day. We were on our way wit+hin an hour, and were so appreciative of their great service!
My truck died the other day on I90 17 miles from the mass turnpike. Altieri's auto Inc. Came to the rescue. On top of their amazing service, and extremely fast response the driver's main priority was my safety. And getting me off I90 as quick as possible. My experience with Altieri's was the fastest, and best service I have ever experienced from any tow company.
Absolutely wonderful service!!! My family and I broke down on the thruway headed to pick up a stove we broke down 7 minutes from our destination. Anthony came out very quick and took us the rest of the way to get the stove, and then towed us the rest of the way home. Outstanding service, very professional and awesome personality. Would highly recommend. Would rate more stars if possible!!!
Our truck towing our camper died on the highway in a work zone with one lane traffic. This place was called for a tow. They towed our truck and camper to a dealership 10 miles away. The guy that was driving the truck was very friendly and comforting with me in my frazzled state. He even drew slowly up a hill because I was worried about things in the camper falling. Before driving away after dropping us at the dealership he recommended some places nearby that we could eat. I don’t get towed often so I don’t if this is normal behavior but the customer service here was top notch. I highly recommend.
Great service! I got a flat tire on the Thruway around 11pm on a Sunday, with no spare. They Towed me to the shop, and I was back on the road with a fresh tire a little bit after midnight! No other auto shop is willing to do work this late! And the price was right. Nice guy, really helped me out!

I rolled my truck, and they towed it, that part of the job was great. On December 18th, I email them regarding, retrieving items from the truck, since I live an hour away, I asked them if I paid them, would they mail me my belongings. That was on December 18th, I venmoed them 100 dollars ( I have proof), they agreed to mail the belongings( I have proof), now as it stands it s 1/13/22. No communication, from Anthony, he mentioned he might drive them to me, but he never showed up. Now, as it stands, I paid him 100 dollars, so that I can drive out to Amsterdam, and complete the job and retrieve my belongings, myself.

We were out of state and towing a 5th wheel when our truck got a flat. AAA sent Alteris Auto to help us and they went above and beyond to get us back on the road. Highly recommend them!

Excellent customer service, knoweldge, compassionate attitude, and help provided to us when our vehicle needed towing off the thruway. Not only did they tow us but the father that cam out to do the job assisted us in getting back to New Hampshire safely.

Flat tire on the thruway. Trooper called a tow truck. Took me back to his shop and tried to find a tire to fit my MINI. When he didnt have one, he let me take a car off his lot to get home no fee. Didnt know me from a block of wood. Returned the next day to a repaired car. Thinking of taking my car there from now on.
Excellent service helped out greatly...and helped getting me ride when Lyft wouldnt work...recommend them for any tow service or auto body needs

brought my car threw to alteris because i had work on it prior due to an accident on the thru way going there i realized wow prices are very high way to high compared to others in the area also i have locks on my wheels that need a special key they claimed they put it in the glove box and sure enough wasnt there so now i have to get one from the subaru dealer thanks a lot alteris!
Dude is absolutely off his rocker. Broke down in NY on the way home from Canada (going to MA). Transmission went in our car. We wanted to sell the car for scrap and when we got a buyer, he started yelling at the man, that bought the car for scrap, and went to pick it up from his shop, told him that we had to pay for the car to be released from there. Not only did we have to pay the storage fee AFTER we asked if there was one and he told us no, he then made us split the total of what we sold the car for. Absolute rip off of man, running a scam business.

I was stuck in the snow, they came to tow me out. The staff was very friendly and worked very fast to get me out. Definitely would recommend them!

An absolutely wonderful place to do business with. Since moving to the Amsterdam area a few years ago, I have brought several cars to Altieri s Auto with both minor and major problems and also on one occasion for some body work. Every time, I was treated with respect and honesty and found them to be very reliable, honest and hard-working. They have always done a terrific job on my vehicles, at a fair price and on-time. I would highly recommend this business for auto repairs or body work.
Altieri told us a price and then jacked it up when we came for the car. This place is dishonest. They did not let us know that it was 40.00 each day to keep the car over night either.
7am - we lost a bolt off of our caliper while on the NYS Thruway heading East. Altieris helped us out! Talk about service, not only did they fix our car fast, they made sure we ate breakfast! Door to door service, all with a smile. Highly recommended.
This company is outstanding. Our RV broke down on the NY Thru-way on a Sunday. Altieris towed us to their shop and then took us to a local hotel to send the night. We called at 8:30 the next morning to see what they had found out. They had located the problem and had ordered the part. Our rig was repaired before noon on Monday they picked us up at the hotel and we were on the road again! Nice people, great/fast service at a fair price. Who could ask for more!! Altieri is a crook, stay as far away from this place as possible. The owner told me I might as well total my car or pay him $2000 to fix it...I took the car to another mechanic and he fixed it for $170...Ive never heard anything good about this guy, he will tow your car and start working on it without your permission and slam you with an insanely high bill. Horrible.
can tow vehicles 24/7 but wont accept cash 24/7 ???? im confused.....horrible business management
Great shop! Driving cross-country DOT and alternator went out. Got us in and out with a new alternator in under an hour. Very helpful, knowledgeable and nice.
