I have a 2014 Subaru crosstrek that was in need of a new exhaust system and the brakes were very spongy. I decided to have Sholar do the repairs mainly because of the great reviews. Jason informed me of the problems which included exhaust, brakes (calipers pads and rotors), plus the front lower control arms had to be replaced. My car has 135k miles. My car overall is in great shape and the cost to keep it running is much cheaper than the cost of a new car. Bottom line they made the repairs and the car drives like a new car. I will be using them for my future needs and recommend them to anyone that wants quality professional automotive repairs.

I ll start out by saying my three experiences with the people at Sholar s have been great. As someone told me once you should have a great doctor and a great mechanic. My initial visit was actually for a second opinion. I was having noise coming from the engine compartment. I paid the dealership to do a general inspection of my car since I figured they d know their brand of car the best. They could not isolate it and thought maybe it was the pulley but could not be sure. The mechanic I typically use thought it was the AC compressor which was going to cost me around $1100 if that was the problem. I was talking with a coworker who spoke well of this group so I thought I would see what they thought. I had a good vibe so I had them move forward. The technician at Sholars spent the extra time time to diagnose the cause and did not just start replacing parts. That was my biggest concern was that they d replace one thing and find out it wasn t that part that was causing the noise. I ve been back twice for oil changes and brake work. Both smooth and stress free appointments. My wife has now gone twice for an inspection and differential fluid change. They have the friendliest staff and are easy going (Kate is so pleasant to talk to and helpful) and very reasonably priced. I never felt pressured or uncomfortable in talking with the staff or mechanics. I get the feeling they are interested in developing relationships and life long customers. My wife feels very comfortable there as well. The facility is clean and well kept. I highly recommend this place for high quality service, incredibly friendly and helpful staff and overall great treatment.

I ve gotten repairs here twice now since they bought out Pet s. The service was excellent on both occasions and I will definitely be bringing my vehicles here to be serviced in the future.

Wolves in Sheep s clothing - BE WARNED! First visit you will feel like VIP, but after that be very careful. Did more harm to my car than good and then when called-out and challenged regarding the work they said they did was threatened with LEGAL action, despite having evidence of the contrary. They either lied about the work, or really just struggle to fix cars. The so called engine repairs resulted in additional trouble-codes which FAILED NYS Inspection. Ultimately had to have the work done by some professionals.

Steve and everyone I interacted with at Sholar Automotive were kind and courteous. They worked with me to get my car looked at in a timely fashion and were willing to work around my schedule to get it done. They went above and beyond.

BEWARE . They will scam you! Especially female seniors. My 83 year old mother brought her vehicle in for an oil change and ended up picking her vehicle up with a $400 charge.

I took my car here and was very happy with the results. They were thorough, helped with any issues, they were upfront and honest. I will be getting all my work done here from now on.

I bring both of our vehicles here to get serviced and inspected. Jason is always great to deal with when setting up appointments and is very transparent about any work that needs to be done. Kate is also very nice and always pleasant to deal with. I have never had a bad experience in all the years that I have been coming here and I will continue to go here for all my car needs.

I couldnt recommend Pets more highly then I do now. Ive been to a lot of repair shops and Pets beats all of them hands down. They are very personable, professional and all together good people. They truly just want to help get you back on the road with a safe working vehicle.

Today we have an inspection, transmission flushed and brakes for our RAV4. Steven and his workers were very prompt and efficient. We were told 10:00 the job was done before noon. Kate was very pleasant. She handled many fires this morning, as the phone never stopped and people kept coming in to ask to have their cars looked at. Kate and Steve are a wonderful addition to the Auburn community. My first experience with the superior Customer Service started with an unfortunate situation with my vehicle. I called for an appointment and Kate informed me they were booked until the next week. I explained that because of the unique situation with the vehicle I would have to call someone else. Instead of letting me go, Kate asked me to explain the situation. After hearing the characteristics of my vehicle and agreeing my situation was unique, she told me to stop by to have Steve give a quick diagnosis. Steve was great, he immediately understood my situation and was able to assist. Their explanation of the service required was very accurate and there were no surprises from the quote to the final bill. Since my first experience, I ve been back twice, so far, for other needs and the level of service is consistently high. In the future I won t think twice for automobile service needs. Additionally, Kate and Steve are avid supporters of youth sports, providing sponsorship to Auburn Little League Baseball.

This is a good place to take your car. Its clean. They are contientous and Dona good job. Its a bit pricier than you might find elsewhere but you get peace of mind.

Every time I have gone to Pet s, they have been beyond friendly, and talked to me on the same level, which I always appreciate. The shop is the cleanest that I have ever seen, and they are always quick to get the job done, and never try to add on any cost that is unwarranted.
