Fingerlakes Towing & auto recovery in Auburn

Very professional people that work here. I recently broke my back (in two places) in an auto accident. I went to get my personal items out of the wrecked vehicle. I was struggling to get to the office and instead the young man (the same guy who towed my 24 Tundra) came out to the snowy parking lot and asked if I needed help. Now that small act meant a lot to me. He was able to direct me as to where to go. Keep up the great work!

My son hit a curb while driving home from work late one evening and blew out a tire. A deputy called for a tow from Fingerlakes Towing and they picked it up. We called them the next morning to ask about getting the tire fixed, but it didn’t happen. That was not their fault, but at no time during my 2 conversations with them did they make any mention of a lot/holding/impound fee. My son didn’t do anything wrong and no tickets were issued. The Deputy just called for a tow to help my son out. We went to pick up the car a couple days later (the car was towed very late on Wednesday and we picked it up on Saturday morning) and they charged us an additional $110 ($55/day) holding fee! When I mentioned that no one said anything about a holding fee I was met with silence. I have no complaint about the actual towing charge, but to not be upfront about cost/pricing is poor business.

Moved to the area a year ago and haven’t been able to find any trustworthy mechanics. Dave and his team gave speedy and excellent service, really genuine people and I am definitely bringing my vehicles back to them from now on.
