Great place to buy. Scary bad service dept. They replaced my deck shell under warranty. (Ferris 500s) Returned it with the deck one inch out of level. The spindle assemblies were not cleaned off so there was debris caught between the shell and spindles. The spindles also had numerous loose bolts. When I first turned it on and engaged the deck the vibration made me look and this is everything I found. I waited 16 months for the shell and they totally botched it. They did offer to come get it and return it "pristine" I declined because the idea of them touching it with a potentially disgruntled tech sent shivers down my spine. I wish I could attach pictures.
Great experience with sales. I've emailed multiple times about zero turn mowers to learn some things. Prompt responses and friendly. Separately, went in to buy a chainsaw. I had an idea of what I wanted but wasn't sure. I ended up with an echo CS 590 and I'm very happy with it and the price I paid.
I ordered a part for a Troy Bilt Sickel Mower and got it a Year later. Terrible Service, they do not stand behind there Equipment they sell. I would Rather go to somewhere else and that place is All Seasons On Freeman's Bridge Road.
Bought DCS 5000 battery operated chainsaw. It was defective out of the box after 10 seconds of use it started to spew oil. I returned the unit three times to service department each time they claimed that they repaired the leak and after sitting in my garage for three more weeks one week at a time it still leaked oil I asked for a new product, which they would not give me I’m out $300 terrible service terrible equipment
Kevin was very helpful with all my needs, he got me parts quickly and always has great prices! When I bought my snowblower from Emerich, they went through preparation, specs, and how to use the machine, one of the best dealers I’ve been to.
Very inconsiderate staff including the owner, look at the excuses and how he talks to people in his responses to other reviews. My father in law and I went in prepared to purchase a mower and neither of us have felt less welcome. Owners response is “you knew he was with a customer”. How are we supposed to know that? Because he came out of the back with someone? You only have 1 employee allowed to engage customers? There were zero vehicles in the lot when we pulled in. We left after seeing the poor selection and units stored outside, as well as no stock tags on the two units I did have interest in. Went directly to All Seasons (only 10 mins away) and purchased a brand new Scag. Will never step foot in emerichs again. Learn how to treat customers better.
I have been going to Emerich Sales and Service in Charlton for years. The generally have the parts I need in stock and if not they get them quickly. Great service and friendly employees. I just purchased a new Kubota BX23s from them and the deal from start to finish went very smoothly. Can't be happier.
Once upon a time this was the dealer to get parts, service and friendly advice. Now? NOW? Its a COMPLETE waste of time. "I can order that" they say. "Yes, so can I, but I came especially to you to buy parts and get advice." Parts department ~especially Gary~ is inept, quick tempered and rude. Customers don't matter here. Spend your valuable time and hard earned money elsewhere. This company has easily ruined its reputation by putting the cu$tomer la$t. Sad
Kevin and his team are great to work with!
Very rude and condescending when i had to bring my equipment back there after having it there for 2 weeks and it still didnt work correctly. Not worth the time money or energy to bring something there to get serviced and have it not work when you get it back and to top it off have an attitude like its my fault? Dont get ripped off folks support local small businesses instead.
In early February I contacted Emerich s looking for Kubota LX 2610 cab tractor with AC. Their salesman sent me quote in a timely manner. The pricing was competitive and they had the tractor in stock at another location. I wanted a quick tack loader with mechanical self leveling bucket 3rd function valve and rear hydraulics added. At this time the salesman said he would order everything and keep me updated. After a month went by I called him he said he would check to see if the accessories had come in. About 4 days later he emailed me saying still waiting for parts to come in and he would keep me updated. During this time I ordered a Land Pride grooming mower, 60 Bucket, Grapple, Kubota Ultimate Tool Rack and a Box Blade. In the beginning of April I was frustrated with all the excuses ( parts not in, pieces missing from delivered boxes, shortage of techs, tech s calling in sick, techs having Covid) and I m sure there were others. On 4/16 I asked to speak with the owner the salesman s answer was The owner is aware of everything that is going on . I then emailed the salesman stating that if the unit wasn t done by 4/19 the deal was off! All of a sudden the unit was ready on 4/18 for pickup. I had asked Dave if the tractor was a 2023 or a 2024 his answer was it would be the year tractor was sold. I had been thinking that the tractor I bought was a 2024. After the purchase I called Kubota Customer Satisfaction and the lady checked the serial # and found that the tractor was built in December of 2021 and delivered to Emerich in January of 2022. I then found that instead of owning a 2024 tractor it s a 2021. After having some work done on the AC by a reputable dealer where they found a wiring harness that had wires chewed on by mice and repaired and taped that I believe was done at Emerich s, after all it set on their lot for two years, lots of time for critters to move in. THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST BUYING EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! EMERICH S DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!!!!!!! THERE IS NO WAY I WILL EVER STEP FOOT ON THEIR PROPERTY AGAIN! Pat Crandall
Parts guy was very knowledgeable and friendly. Ive always heard family members not go here because they never have parts in stock. Ive never had an issue with that.
Had everything I needed
I ve been using Ermmerich equipment for many years and they really know their stuff when it comes to farm and garden matters of all types. I would Recommend them if you need any outdoor equipment for your yard or farm! Their service is fast and their information is accurate. Thank you!
The weed-eater accessories worked marvelously.
I purchased a top of the line Cub Cadet X3 mower in Spring 2016 to replace a 2 year old Husqvarna that was constantly breaking down. I went online and read many reviews, I also went to all local dealers and looked at the pricing and asked the same questions. Kevin (BK) spent well over 1 hour with me looking at the mower, options, comparing to other models and then when I did go to purchase it was $400 less than the other dealers were offering. They delivered the CC and took time to run me through many of the features. I wish I had recorded it as some of them escaped me days later. When I called, and asked, they took the time to explain to me again. The Cub Cadet mowed like a champ and not an issue all season. I took advantage of the Fall/Winter special with free shipping and delivery and paid about $250 for a full tuneup and inspection/cleaning. I asked them to look at the choke and they returned all parts to me in a bag for my inspection. They had the machine for nearly 7 weeks by the time I got it back, but who cares, it was the dead of winter and it was just going to take up space in my garage during that time anyway. Im on my second season which is coming to an end and once again the CC ran like a champ and never broke down. I will take advantage of the Fall/Winter special again shortly. Every time I have had question they have taken the time to answer them and I find them very helpful. Would purchase! Remember that it pays to maintain equipment, especially expensive equipment. Service and parts are always easy to deal with.
We went today to find a zero turn mower. When we showed up, we looked around and wandered into the repair lot. A lady approached us and told us to go over and see three guys. One guy, who looked like he was in sales, said find the tag number and come in and see me. No help, no salesmanship- nothing. Didn t even ask what are you looking for and what are your needs. We were not happy being left alone, so we left, never to come back. Went to All Seasons where the salesguy was awesome and I was able to use my military discount. If you re looking to purchase equipment, don t go to this store location go somewhere else.
this is by far the worst establishment i have ever been to. the outside of the building looks like a dumpster fire and the man who worked the register was rude and don t even think about going to the service desk i have not one good thing to say about this place i would never buy anything from here again.
Excellent results and professional service. Thank you for having the parts and shipping it to me. I appreciate it!
Make sure you dont interrupt sandwich time, or you as a customer get spoken to in a condescending prick tone instead of actually being helped. Its pretty bold for a place that can be replaced by a trip to Home Depot.
Got here at 0700 for a 0800 pu had a straight through del well that didnt go good started loading my truck at 0900 didnt finish until 1100 for 10 stacks had to reschedule del to next morning and going to be late for my next pu never will I come to the establishment again
Great variety. Nice workers. Prefer to buy local!
Had parts in stock for my old lawn tractor
Nothing but a good experience. I bought my lawn tractor from there so my info was ready for them and took maybe 5 minutes max start to finish getting my oil, filter, and grease.
First off the reason why I chose Emerich again was because of how fast they fixed two of my generators over a year ago and still no problems. I was in Home Depot and curious about ride on mowers and not only could I not get help I was misinformed by many of the employees. Decided to contact Emerich and their sales department was extremely helpful, knowledge and honest. Helped me choose a great mower, answered all my questions about maintenance and operations as well as made all aspects of financing clear with no games. Then I was shocked they actually had the mower in stock . Could not be happier with my cub cadet 42inch... If you dont go here and support a local business you need to ask yourself why!
I work with commercial equipment we always bring it to them when they break down. They fix everything lawnmowers, weedwackers, leaf blowers. You do not need to own a commercial company to bring your equipment here. I would give them more stars if I could.
Ive been doing business with Emerich for more than 25 years - they are good people who sell good products and who provide good service. Ive bought three mowers and two snow blowers from them. One lesson Ive learned, however, is that it is prudent to defer power equipment service to off-season. Emerichs do good work, and as a result, they are popular. But that means that their shop can get backed up. And if that happens in the middle of the season, when you really need the mower or blower to do its intended task around the house, taking it in for service can lead to tense moments as you worry about whether they will be able to get it done before you need it again. The best time to ask for mower maintenance is March/April, while October/November is probably the best time for snow blower work.
7/25/2022 Excellent equipment, large selection. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. A+ KW was a pleasure to do business with. 08/15/2023 Conversation with GM Scott today, this mower has been back to Emerichs over 6 times in 1 year. (only used in summer to mow) Husqvarna TS 354XD tractor the deck has been crooked since day one. last week they charged my wife over 350+ dollars they returned the unit mowing crooked making the same noises as last summer and this summer. Now the problem is a bent bracket from the factory.. really over a half dozen service trips, 2 setup trips and you are just now seeing the bracket that hold the deck is a factory defect bent. I asked Scott 2 things take bracket off in stock unit and get the mower back to us and to refund my wife the money she paid as 1) it did not resolve issues 2) The damaged belt was caused by a deck that sat crooked. Scott said I thought of that, we dont have any in stock. I asked in all your locations you do not have a TS354XD? Scott said no we dont I started telling him the internet shows inventory he said your not listening to me I am hanging up now. and yes he hung up on me. STEER CLEAR OF EMERICH SALES AND SERVICE. THEY ARE GREAT UNTIL THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY THEN YOUR NO GOOD.
would never call this location for service or assistance again. The manager is rude and unhelpful. called to give them a customer and wanted to make sure the model the customer gave was going to be able to be serviced at this location and the manager was horrible to deal with. I Call United AG INSTEAD! - and they will now be my direct contact for Ariens equipment Thank you
Awesome people!
Knowledgeable staff helped us pick the right mower for our situation. My wife used the toro zero turn timecutter all season and it did the trick! Thanks
Ive been dealing with Kevin and his crews for years. Bought a New rider couple years ago. Cub cadet. Great Price. Always TOP_NOTCH. Professionals. Prices are good .NEVER had a Problem. Parts dept is Busy, yes. Learn to be patient. Tough when Your the Best. Goin there this morning for some Parts for my Cub Cadet Snowblower. Thx Guys ,Mark Pelc. Glenville N.Y.
This is a busy store. Sometimes busy locations are comfortable being rude to customers because their sales are brisk. The equipment they sell is available at other local retailers: H&M equipment, All Seasons equipment, lowes, home depot, etc. It doesn t cost anything to have patience and be polite.
Great place, I bought a cub cadet lt46 EFI FAB 2017 RIDING MOWER, I HAVENT HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH IT IN 6 YEARS, I DID REPLACE THE COIL THIS YEAR BUT NO OTHER PRBLEMS!!
Buyer Beware. I purchased a used Toro snow blower last November and got three or four uses before it started to bog down and stall. When I returned it to Emerich s for service, I was advised that the machine required a new carburetor at $200 and an additional $250 in labor and services. When I questioned if the snow blower had been gone through by the service department prior to my purchase, the service department became defensive and blamed my winterization. There should not have been any additional winterization required, as I had stored it in a heated garage before using it for the first time, later that month. The store management was no more sympathetic, he confused the year of the machine with my purchase date. Ultimately, I was held to the thirty-day warranty, and not the four days of operation before failure. Going with Emerich s service department diagnosis, I had All Season Equipment replace the carb for half the price quoted by Emerich. The problem persists, and now I must decide whether to continue to dump money into this used machine or cut my losses and get something new. I suspect that the problem has to do with the air and fuel mixture, but it may be something more chronic, that led to the original owner trading it in at Emerich s.
The snowblower failed the first year that I purchased it from you. There was no winterization required. I replaced the carburetor as recommended and it made no difference. The fact is that you sold me a faulty machine and refuse to own up to it. The machine is dead in my garage for the second year and probably for the same reason. It would have been nice to speak to the owner as my wife used to sell to you as the Wurth representative. I thought we had a good business relationship, but I am very disappointed in your service and lack of follow up. You and your staff keep jumping to your quick and inaccurate conclusions, leaving me, the customer holding the bag.
First time customer at Emerich. Exceptional sales and equipment advice. Appreciated the effort to get every factory rebate available for the 3 products I was purchasing. Very fair on my trade in. Would highly recommend for any new or used equipment needs. They re knowledgeable people who are nice to deal with.
My father and I have been a long time EMERICHS customers. Unfortunately, over the past few years I have began to like it less and less every time I go. Most recently, I brought in a pressure washer with a cracked pump. I purchased a pump online, and unfortunately wasn t the correct pump, my mistake. However, when I dropped off the unit I was charged a $75 deposit, and then when I picked it up was charged $125 for labor. $200 to have the unit not fixed. I am fine paying the labor rate, however as a long time customer to charge me a deposit fee, not take it away and then charge me $125 is robbery. And oh yeah, the service lady told me it was $280 for a new pump and another $125 in labor. $600 for a repair job on a $400 pressure washer. Service wise, robbery. Go somewhere else or use YouTube for DIY repairs. Absolute joke of a business model.
Friendly, courteous staff that went above and beyond during my recent tractor purchase. Dave Robak was great to work with. I felt appreciated, and valued as a customer. Communication was excellent throughout the process. I never felt mislead or cheated and highly recommend Emerich of Charlton. If you need a great tractor at a reasonable price without the high pressure sales drama, I suggest you give them a chance to earn your business. You wont regret it.
Not to nice to new customers
Very friendly they have what need parts and new equipment
Great deal on a new lawn tractor
I recently purchased a Kioti DK5310se. Paul was great to deal with. He went over the features on the tractor and answered any questions that I had. Paul was able to get the tractor delivered on the date that was promised.
KW listened to our needs, and helped us find a solution that met those needs without trying to upsell us on extras that we don t need or would never use. We also really appreciated that KW treated my wife as an equal. Too frequently in these setting do folks tend to treat her as little woman who can t do anything , but KW showed her just as much respect as he did me.
Just purchased a Yanmar SA221 Tractor. Excellent buying experience! My Salesman Dave Robak was great! He answered all my questions and gave me a thorough walk through on the tractor and all its functions. Personable, professional and knowledgeable. Thanks again to the Emerich Team.
I have had Many years of friendly excellent service. The machinery they sell , pick up and deliver, and maintain is highest quality, and the customer care and backup by this family business cannot be matched by any typical giant home centers. Old school and reliable. Highly recommend
I have always experienced great service at this local dealer. They have a surprising amount of stocked parts and equipment and their prices usually beat the big box stores and online prices. I will continue to return here for equipment purchases, excellent service and parts.
Excellent customer service but prices are a bit too high.
Cool
Pay an honest price for an honest product . Thats what it is about
I had a problem finding a part on line for an older roto tiller. They ordered exactly what I needed.
Quick and friendly service
Emerichs does good work and values their customers.
I went there looking for a part I believed I needed for a snow blower. 3 employees took time with me, and took pity on me when they explained the part doesn t exist and told me what I needed to do to fix the problem. Never charged me a dime. 10/10 would make the trip out to use their services.
Walked into a friendly atmosphere. Worked with Dave R. Listened to what I needed (wanted). He took me thru a few options without trying to sway me in any direction which had happened to me before at a different business and made a bad choice. Very happy ! (So far !)
I purchased a Toro snowblower and had some issues with the chute. In a matter of hours, there had someone at my house to pick it up and get it fixed. Then, to my amazement, they had it back to me the same day. all fixed. I would recommend Emerich Sales to anyone. John Reid, their sales guy did a great job as well as the young man, Chris who picked it up. Very good company
I had a snow blower taken in as it was leaking gas. They told me that it was gas related and is not covered by the warranty. The warranty to me is worthless.
Excellent sales experience - had the model snowblower I wanted and he d it set up and delivered the next day. Highly recommend Emerichs and KW!
Had my part in stock, staff was very helpful and friendly. I will go back even though it is 30 minutes to drive there.
Its the only place I go to for my snowblower replacement parts. The staff are really nice and very knowledgeable.
Very friendly and helpful, will be going back.
Paul was very helpful and knowledgeable and worked with me to find the best fit for my yardwork needs. Despite some supply-side issues due to Covid Paul worked hard and made sure I have all the equipment I need. Great job Paul. Thanks!
Emiratess first class and they know everything from a to z and sell it too
My hubs was thinking of buying a new tractor and decided to try this place because our friends have used them. We took a simple flat tire in and after 5 days with no fix, we picked it up and will be looking else where.
They seem to always have the parts I need at a price usually better than online.
Our entire experience from the time we enter the Charlton store to when we left was very professional, informative and pleasant. We did not feel high pressured into buying one machine over the next. At the end we purchased a Cub Cadet snow blower and have been very happy. It is so easy to maneuver and handle. I would highly recommend Emerich Sales and service and actually have done so.
So I ordered some parts through them over a week ago heard nothing from them so I went online found my parts an ordered them myself.. funny I got my parts within 3 days pretty pathetic I can get the parts quicker then them who knows maybe someone isnt doing there job ill never go there or have them get me parts again I was thinking of giving them my business to take care of my gear for my company but it seems like they can not deliver ,,, thats pathetic
Emerichs is rare nowadays knowledgeable friendly fast they care about customers I wouldnt buy anywhere else. They had the best price on my tractor very happy with them
Been waiting for a hydro fan on my brand new $9,000 mower for 4 months. Have to keep calling for updates and Service keeps passing the buck. Wont buy another thing from them! Posted this review last year. Received hydrofan after 3 months and Greg was very helpful from there on out. Here we are year 2; hour meter is broken, been waiting on them to call me about part for 2 months. In meantime bagger is about to fall off the mower along with other issues. Fearful of dropping off and being with out mower for days since no one can seem to schedule a service appointment. Oh and only helpful person there (greg) no longer works here !!!!
Emerich s picked up rider for engine repair June 10th. Sent it with a full tank of fresh ethanol free gas. I called back 6 weeks later cause never heard. They told me they called 3 weeks earlier but there was no record in my call log that they called. Had my mower for almost 9 weeks. Tried to contact Kevin Emerich (the CEO,) twice but he never replied. Finally got my mower back with an empty gas tank. Charged me $11.80 for shop supplies. That was probably the fee for stealing my gas. Not only did they take 2 gallons of my gas but they charged me to do it. I Will never use Emerichs ever again. Will go to All-Seasons for purchase and repair from now on. I guess it s the customers that are always not telling the truth because their employees would never lie!!!!!!
We dropped off our Cub Cadet lawn tractor on May 25 to be looked at. They said they couldnt get to it till sometime in August. Last day in August, today the 31st, we went there to pick it up. Over 3 months and never got a call and still sitting in the field where we dropped it off! Not the kind of service we were looking for! Would never of bought the new snow blower from them last winter had we known this was the kind of service wed get!
Purchased a toro 4000 Z turn mower this weekend. Called the Charlton store and spoke with Dave who had mower ready and waiting for me within days. Experience from start to finish was excellent, Dave showed me what I needed to do to operate new zero turn mower. Next day mowed 5 acres in under 2 hours, used to take me over 5 hours with 60 inch finish mower dragged behind my farm tractor. Any equipment you need for your homestead, reach out to Dave at Emerich, they will do you right.
I worked with Dave, who was very knowledgeable and friendly. He made it a breeze buying the right lawn tractor for my new home.
So far so good, Ill let you know when I pick up my serviced mower
Bought Kioti parts via Kioti website with pick up and pay at Emerich s in Melrose. When I picked up parts they tried to charge me more than what the Kioti website showed. Got that resolved but they didn t/couldn t honor the 10% off promotional code that showed one the Kioti parts order website. All in all not the best experience.
Bought a B2601, a pleasure to deal with . My second piece of equipment from them , besides covid delays everything was pretty smooth and straight forward .
Great customer service. Ask for KW hell set you up with what you want.
Terrible service. I brought my Ariens snowblower to Emerich in Charlton to get it repaired. The snow blower worked but I noticed a pulley was bad and the friction plate for the drive was slipping. A month later they got back to me and told me that it would be just under $500 to to fix it. I decided to buy a new one but they didnt have the one I wanted in stock. So I was going to use mine (if it snowed) until the new one came in. I went to picked up my old one up, I paid the $50 shop fee. When they brought my snow blower out, the drive and the auger didnt work. Turns out they didnt put the belts back on, which would have took a couple minutes when they had it apart. I went back in and their reply to me was I had to pay them take apart the machine again and put the belts back on that they took off. After going back and forth with them for a while, I told them they lost my business. I trashed the old one and went to All Seasons. All Seasons had the one I wanted in stock so I gave them my $1600. Ive been doing business with Emerich for years but notice the last few years the service department really has gone down hill. Shame, the sales department is still great. But if your looking to buy and have things serviced by the same place, go elsewhere. ***************************************** Below (in the photos) is the responce I received. The pulley was not removed and in place. I find your comparison of putting belts back on the pulley (the way it was brought in) to remodeling a bathroom over bad floor joist is ridiculous. A better comparison would be if I bring a car in for an estimate for brakes. If I decided not to have the work done there, I wouldnt expect to have to pay over the $50 estimate fee, that I paid, to put the tires back on.
I had a world class buying experience with KW and the Emerich s team. I was provided accurate expectations all throughout the process and received delivery in a timely manner. The very beneficial demo/walkthrough prior to delivery gave me confidence operating my new piece of equipment safely. I highly recommend Emerich s.
I was very pleased the way the sale came together. Dave handled my purchase very well and I was completely satisfied. We went out to my new tractor and explained all of the operating features. Dave is asset to your company and would highly recommend him to handle any of my future purchases.
Excellent customer service and are always helpful and polite. Wouldnt shop anywhere else but here.
Many changes over the years and not in any positive way! My family has been a customer for 30+ years. Bought our riding mower from them and had every single service performed there. Until they started price gouging. I understand inflation and everything is going up. Unfortunately I need to bring my mower somewhere else.
I recently had a wonderful experience at Emerich. I purchased a rear remote kit for my kubota bx1870 tractor. The sales department was great to talk to and answered all my questions. The price for the part was very competitive and beat any online price i could find. I also needed a rear tire fixed. The service department was able to fix my rear tire rather then replace it saving me a lot of money. They also installed the rear remote kit for me at a price so low that there was no way i was going to attempt to do it myself. The work looked great and was done in the time frame they said it would be.
Quick and great service. Had a snow blower that wouldn t start, they got me in and out before an upcoming storm.
Great sales and service! We enjoyed working with Emerich Sales in Charlton, NY.
Horrible customer service
They had exactly what I needed and for a good price.
I have had good service from these folks. I was surprised as they quoted several different new machines for me, but I eventually got a used machine. At this point they knew me fairly well, but the level of attention I received was no different. I continue to visit this store, and hope they will be around for a long time! Update 5/2020. No real changes at this store, I continue to get great service. Mostly I am looking for materials and advice to keep my tractor running smooth and have never been disappointed. I went in over there weekend for some grease and walked out with a new chain saw. Sale of the saw went very well, it too them a few minutes to assemble adjust and test the new saw, maybe 15 minutes total. I went home with a full tank and a saw that was ready to work. I forgot how easy a well running saw is to work with! Very happy with the saw and the service!
Have not been by for a few years. Needed an engine gasket that they had in stock and was pleased to find out the part was less than on the internet. Good for you guys. Ill shop you first next time.
Called looking for a used lawn mower spoke to John, up in south glensfalls he instantly wanted nothing to do with it and told me the price of a brand new inexpensive one and then didn t want to take the time to even give me a price on a used unit, then wanted me to call back later when he had time to look for something possibly. And spoke to Scott our in charlton location and he instantly said I have nothing at all..... I m in sales and would never treat a customer in that manner or tell them to call back. That customer service was poor.
Honest and very knowledgeable!!
So nice to have this shop so close to home! I have purchased 3 items from Emerichs in Charlton over the span of 3 years (wood splitter, zero turn, and weed whacker). My experiences there have always been positive and everyone is quite attentive. I have dealt with KW for all of my purchases and he has been fantastic to deal with, Friendly, laid back, and professional! They have always taken the time to go over the equipment with me before I take it home. Another thing I like is that you can browse the machinery for sale in the yard without a salesman following you around. I always like looking around myself first and then going to a salesman for questions when I m ready. Anyway, I will continue to do my business with Emerichs! Good job guys!
Knowledgeable staff and great parts department.
Bought a new Kubota LX2610, very happy with the machine and happened to be the last one around- all dealers were sold out from COVID. The issue wasnt the purchase, it was AFTER I handed them $21k for the machine and wanted some quick how-to on how to use it, especially since they couldnt find the user manual that came with it. They sent out a kid who only worked there for about 2 weeks and was very honest that he didnt know much to which I appreciated his honesty. However, when I asked to have the salesman or someone with some knowledge to show me the basics, they sent the poor kid back out and told him to figure it out. Not pleased with after-sale customer service. Almost as if they got their money and was like beat it! Its worth noting that this was 9am and there were only a few customers getting parts, the stock was wiped clean so there wasnt anything left to sell. So now I got a machine, no manual (waiting for one to be mailed), and no instruction on how to use the machine. Fortunately, I had some experience on Kubotas and found a YouTube channel with an experienced salesman on the particular machine. Im not sure I would recommend someone to buy a product from here.
Excellent customer service and very reasonable prices! They give the utmost respect and attention to their customers and get the work done as promised! I will absolutely be a returning customer.
Ok but no parts in stock went home with out everything they said they had in stock had to go to another. Vender .
Always have a good experience dealing with this company, the workers are extremely friendly and helpful. I won t do business with any other company, plus the prices are good.
So why would I post a review about a snow-blower repair when the temperatures for the past month have been in the upper 60 s, low 70 s. Because if you are thinking about going to Emerich Sales and Service, it may take you until the first snow fall to get yours back, if you bring it in today Last winter, it took better than a month (34 days) to have our Cub Cadet to be looked at. Not repaired, but looked at Emerich. During this time I had to shovel 6 of heavy snow in our 180 driveway, while taking care of my wife, who has a very serious health condition. People who know me, will state that I am patient to a fault. Things don t bother me. Stuff happens. Not only do I get that, I understand it. But what we endured with our dealings with this company is nonsensical. It is by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Bar none. I also know that they deal with large farm equipment/implements. For the life of me, I can t imagine dealing with Emerich, when your livelihood depended on your equipment being repaired in a prompt and professional manner. Not with this company. Please note that limitations to the length of a Google review prevent me from posting all of our documented detail. p.s. They did give me the receipt for the purchase of the parts. This receipt also contain comments . Those comments are not contemporaneous, as I have notes, and phones records to corroborate the above. p.s.s I got the name of the Cub Cadet rep locally and spoke with him. He stated that he would get back to me. Still waiting on that contact, 9 months later. GO ELSEWHERE.
As always, excellent and outstanding service. Nice to have you close by. Vern Ketchum.
Fast and thorough service provided by KW in my process of getting a tractor. Thank you so much
Quick service, reasonable price.
Friendly knowledgeable staff
Good thanks
Great people to deal with!
The most easy, hassle free, purchase I have ever done. They made it quick and easy and stayed in touch all along the way. Thanks!
They were excellent to deal with. Very quick and friendly service on my slow blower, and reasonably priced.
Really nice to work with. Thank you!
Good people there
Once upon time, they were the place to go. Been buying and dealing with them for 18 years, but the last two years something has changed, with some of the worst customer service I have ever seen. After my last visit, I will never go back there again. Im sure they are still more then happy to sell you a piece of equipment (maybe), but dont bother trying to get it serviced or repaired. My father-in-law stop going to them last summer after 25 years due to poor customer service, and now I am finished as well. Buy your equipment from someone who truly cares and wants to give you customer service, and not just take your money ... never again!
Bought new lawn tractor quick and easy
Dropped off my mower for service on April 1st. Was told there was a 4 week lag time. Okay, no problem. Called back on April 27th and was told that they hadnt gotten to it yet and there was no way to tell where it was in line because there is no window in his office. Was then advised that they are now 6 weeks wait time. I completely understand that spring is a busy time for service etc. but when the wait time changes a whole two weeks Id like to be notified of such. Especially considering my mower is sitting outside in the rain. After reading alot of reviews I picked up my mower and brought it someplace else. Very dissatisfied.
I cannot thank Kevin and Becky plus the whole Emerich s team enough for helping my family. We unfortunately lost not only our house and vehicles in an unforgettable house fire, but we also lost our Kubota tractor. Upon Emerich s hearing about our misfortune they immediately went to work helping us in every way they could and was even calling just to check on us and see if they could help out with anything else. The Emerich s really take pride in the community and in the belief of good customer service. With all of their hard work and commitment we now have a new/bigger Kubota tractor to help us in the rebuilding process. I would recommend Emerich s for all your lawn equipment needs! Thanks again to the Emerich s family and staff for taking such incredible care of us!
Very knowledgeable sales staff.
Had a warranty issue on recently purchased K tractor with the quick attachment. They picked it up and after examination they put it in for warranty. The QA was replaced and Emerichs returned the 2650 for no charge. Very good customer service from the service admin Patrick.
Friendly staff + a part that was readily available at a good price = one happy consumer!
Good service
Fantastic family business
Not one to complain, but by far the worst customer service experience of my life. Was threatened by one of the staff members that he would end the call while I pragmatically voiced concerns, as a customer who had been waiting for resolution on a service for over a month and previously took time out of their workday to follow up on issues. Steer clear- lack of communication, questionable business practices and general disregard for the customer.
Great Help from the Staff. Quick access to parts for a14 year old Lawn Tractor. Instructions were easy for me to do it all myself. Will definitely be using them in the future and highly recommend Emerichs to any and all outdoor equipment users
A little out of the way.but had the parts I needed5sa
Bought a new snowblower
Dropped off push lawnmowrer to be fixed at Charlton location. Bought it at SGF store. Part was covered under warranty. Nice folks to deal with.
What a ripoff. Brought my chainsaw in for repair. They diagnosed it without ever taking it apart. But they still charged me the $40 for it. They said it was a broken fuel line and there was no replacement.
All around great business that carries many brands with the knowledge and serviceability of those brands. I have done business many times over the years at emerichs and have always been satisfied with them. They have two stores in close proximity to my lawn care service areas and I can always rely on them for parts or service which is huge. The staff at emerichs is great and they have always been good to me on new purchases as well as getting my equipment back up and running quickly. If you are a pro or a home owner I highly recommend giving them a call or stopping in, you wont be disappointed.
Lots of parts but out of the way
I recently had trouble with my brand new toro snowblower. I had put it away for the season after using it probably 5 times. I was careful to run the gas dry and put it in the shed as I have for everything gas powered that I own. We ll come November first snowstorm I put in fresh ethanol free gas and went to start it and nothing even with the electric start. I dropped off the snowblower at Emerichs and they told me they would write it up as a warranty repair and if it was a carb problem it was probably fouled fuel left in the carb and that it would not be covered under warranty I said fine and they told me it would be about 2.5 weeks due to the volume of repairs I said that was fine. I received a call from them about 2 weeks later and it was as they suspected and it was fairly cheap to repair. I asked him what I should do next season to ensure it would not happen again. He told me about trufuel and to put that in my snowblower once I run it dry and to let it run for five minutes to ensure it reaches the carb. Then to put it away and he said it would never happen again and that s what they do there. I m nothing but satisfied by the services y received from these guys. No complaints at all.
Emerich Sales & Service were great. I purchased an Airens Deluxe 24 snowblower in November 2019 and they were very helpful as well as very nice. Neighbors of ours had recommended going there and I am glad I did. I haven t used their service yet but I have heard it s top notch. KW, the salesman, was great to deal with and he even gave my son a toy when we were there looking at the machines.
Good variety of equipment and service
Friendly staff...very knowledgable!!!
These guys are awesome. They always do their best to help me out when it comes to questions and concerns. I love their service as a owner of a landscape company.
Miles of tractors and mowers !!! Chain saws and impliments
Work lately has been done poorly causing a huge inconvenience on my end. A lot of it had to be brought back in and verbally corrected by me to the employee. Customer service is going downhill and extremely unprofessional and rude. Once warranties are up, going else where. Disappointed to see a local business that was once easy to deal with become complicated and inconsiderate.
Horrible customer service. Refused me service because I didnt want to give my address for a cash sale.
Very rude horrible customer service.
Great assistance! Dan Russell was spot-on with the diagnosis of my zero; and Greg Jackson gave a full view of what I needed for my trimmer, as well as the cool new PAS models!
Echo dealer
Great service
Emerichs has more business than can handle. They admit that customer service is poor, blaming it on not enough work space. Customer service is poor. Phone calls are not returned. Needed repair parts are not tracked aggressively. They had my machine for more than two months before ordering the part. When they picked up my machine they estimated 4 weeks to do the work. It actually took 10 weeks.
I just moved to Charlton 3 days ago. My new house has several acres of land, a garden, and a long driveway, so I need a garden tractor. My husband and I walk in, wait patiently to be acknowledged by at least one of the (at least) 6 people working, keep waiting, look around and talk about what our specifications are, keep waiting, then leave. We were very much looking forward to giving a local small business our business, especially as we just moved here. However, it s definitely better to stick with a big, national chain than to go through the frustration of being ignored. If they don t want my business, I ll take it elsewhere.
Service very slow. Cant buy parts unless you already have part numbers, make, model and serial numbers. Waste of time. Repairs can take weeks.
Emerich picked up my Kubota tractor over 7 weeks ago for a warranty repair. they said it would take 2 weeks but I havent heard from them since. I called Kubota and they said they wouldnt help. Go ANYPLACE else. Dont waste your time and especially your money
Very nice staff, had the exact parts I needed
The manager is rude his customer service is non existent. They have had our Tractor 13 weeks and counting he wont take our calls! .
The sales man KW was super helpful and talked me through buying a chainsaw. He didnt try and over sell me and even said if I wanted something a little less beefy they had a smaller model. Very honest. He talked me through the service plan echo has with their saws and said if I have any issues feel free to come back in and theyll help me out. He talked me through servicing and operating the saw. Overall it was a great experience and an easy buy. The first fill of gas and bar oil is on them and they fire the equipment up and test it for you to make sure there are no issues!
Update: Sunday 9/23 - This Tuesday 9/25 will mark 5 weeks! Last Monday we were told we were #2 on list; hah; 5 business days past and still no tractor. Brought tractor in 4+ weeks ago w/ promise will take no longer than 2 weeks. Said a 1.8 hour job and parts in stock. Do not return your phone calls. We drive over 2-3 times per week and get lied to as to when tractor will be ready. Grass is 2ft tall in backyard. Went there last week and was told would be ready end of week - NOT - then went there Monday (again will not return phone calls) and said we were #2 on list; that was 2.5 days ago. Did They Start Counting at -5! I have never seen such poor service. We had used them for last 25 years; they have no problem selling equipment but cannot service Now w/ 3 stores; it is a mess. Kevin you are killing your business; next will be John Deere.
Friendly and knowledgable. Very helpful.
Bought a tractor here, they gave us below MSRP on top of the rebate that was currently going on. Tractor was delivered directly to us for no additional charge. Was very pleased with the entire experience, and will definitely go there again when I inevitably need (want) a bigger tractor!
Very helpful
I would not bring toilet paper to these people. Worse place to do business and repairs. Has had are tractor on and off for over a year. Finally get it back after several months, to send it back a less than a week later without me even operating it, because of leaks. How Kubota still allows them to sell there product is a disgrace to Kubota. Sad, VERY SAD. If the had a negative number to rate them they would get that
Great place to take your equipment let it sit outside for six weeks and have them not work on it. Do yourself a favor stay away from this place!! I will never purchase equipment or parts here again!! Not sure how this place is still open.
Perfect
K.W. was knowledgeable about the products and financing. Very helpful getting me what I wanted right away. Thanks Kevin.
We have a Toro riding mower we bought from Emerichs and always had great service. Today, Ron at the parts counter gave us so much help with trying to figure out how to put certain parts together on the mower deck! He really went above and beyond and we were so happy he solved the problem. Its also refreshing to see there are still good people in this world!! Thanks Ron!! Kudos to you!!
Terrible customer service after the sale. Problems ever since I bought my tractor from them, two years ago. Run around over the phone and apparently no knowledge of their product they are selling on more than occasion. Better off buying a tractor from Home Depot or Lowes, zero benefit from purchasing from this dealer. Nothing but headaches. And, Im hearing the same from more and more people doing business with them. Buyer beware.
I purchased a brand new loader/backhoe and other related accessories from these people several years ago. While their prices are far from the cheapest, they more than make up for it with their extremely friendly and helpful attitude. They have a huge inventory of new and used farm and construction equipment in stock, from what I remember. They also have competent and knowledgeable mechanics working for them. When dealing with them, I never come away with the feeling of not knowing if it was a hit or a miss, which I cant say is my experience with other farm equipment companies.
Knowledgeable staff that will spend the time getting to know you so they match you with the right equipment.
if your a business and your dealing with them make sure you take at least a 1/2 day off to deal with them. Everyone was helpful but no one had a clue as to what was going on.Oh wait its still coming--- no no its out back-- we called you many times--- still coming not here yet-- its been here for weeks--- when it comes in we can have it ready for you next week--- oh its hear and ready for pick -up, come and get it, its been here for a month??? I ask them to email me and deliver it when it came in. You need to find a manager to run your business, and fire some people!!!!! spent close to $25,000 in new equipment . shame on you!!!!!!!
Good selection of power equipment. Service on equipment is good but takes a long time. I had problems with a couple of pieces of equipment and they would not go to bat for me with the manufacturers. I had to do all of the communications with the manufacturers.
KW is a great guy, always helps me out. The guys there all gave me lots of great tips about how to change my oil. Store has some cool toys in it too! Kids love sitting on the tractors when we go. Way better than buying at a big box store. These guys have the mid-level mowers that arent available at big box stores like the XT2. Also, delivery was great! Didnt have to take the mower on the highway.
Friendly and knowledgeable
So far so good
Great service!
Good service and good worker.
Knowledgeable and priced fairly
We dealt with Scott Busa and this gentleman answered everything showed us the different options.
We have a Cub Cadet that we bought in 2008 and its worked great. We do the winter tune-up special just about every year. Well worth it and great to keep their staff busy over the winter.
They sold me a ariens snowblower that was a lemon and failed to take any responsibility. 1.5 seasons and needed major repairs twice . Thecharge
Weve bought some parts from Emerichs with No bad experiences. I can understand the frustration that people feel when equipment breaks. The mechanic only sees broken parts. Why theyre broken? Who knows? And sometimes, parts are no longer available. These things happen. Especially on older equipment. The responses from the business owner addressed the issues and appear to be honest. Unfortunately, people are far more apt to share negativity. I, for one, am happy with the service at Emerichs.
I had though I was quoted $125 which I thought was low, after about a month not hearing anything, I was told they had not heard from the parts supply and would get back to me, they did and said the part was not available, something to do with the gas tank as I recall, said they could attach it in another manner and it would be cheaper, great! Went to pay the bill and arrange to have it delivered today, Bill was $258.04 plus delivery. When I asked how they determined the cost of delivery the man said they charged everyone the same. When i asked what if it was 1/4 mile, still the same $40(net $37???). Since I am less than 4 miles or 8 both ways that works out to $5 per mile or perhaps @260± per hour !!!! I could comprend that I had not heard right 125 or 225 but the rest, Kevin NEVER AGAIN. So if ya live 40 miles away ya get a deal ?????? but under 10 miles, Drive it home or something.
