I meant to write this review back in June , but time got away from me! Our experience with Jacob in sales was absolutely fantastic. We were traveling from out of state, and he went above and beyond to ensure everything was ready and perfectly organized when we arrived. He took the time to get to know us and even shared some amazing local fishing spots—going the extra mile by printing out maps and marking what types of fish we could find there. Not only was he incredibly helpful, but he also made sure we had plenty of water for the drive back. Plus, we brought our two dogs with us, and it was great to see how dog-friendly the dealership was! From start to finish, Jacob made this a seamless and enjoyable first-time buying experience. I came in looking for a high country with super cruise. They showed me a high country without the super cruise. Didn t care for the color and really wanted super cruise. They worked up the trade in and told me there was a high country coming in with the super cruise. It came in about a week later. Test drove it and they worked out the deal. Never pushed me and gave me a fair deal on my trade.

As a new mom, I was very interested in getting into something that was safe and comfortable for driving on a daily basis. Purchased a car on Wednesday returned it on Thursday. Car had obviously been in an accident, not reported on carfax. Dealership should have seen problems when conducting their inspection and state inspection, no doubt they were trying to push this car out. One star given only b/c no star was an option. Dealership unwilling to fix the problems. Shady business practices.
Grace was amazing as a sales agent. Did not go in to purchase only to look and rule out the Silverado as was prepared to purchase a competitors vehicle.

Went in to get my wifes vehicle inspected. Started talking with Jack and Will about Suburbans. Wasnt really thinking of buying right now but wanted information. Jack and Will went out of their way to show us around a Suburban and go over some of the pricing. Even though we didnt purchase today we never felt pressured. We have purchased 3 vehicles so far and it has always been a great experience. The same today! We just want to thank Jack and Will for taking the time to give us the information we were looking for. Today wasnt our day to buy, but well be back to purchase from Jack and Will again!

I wouldnt go back. Everything was a rush. They should have given me an idea what I could do based on what I told them my credit score was. They also should have appraised my vehicle first because a lot was contingent upon that. If it wasnt acceptable I would have told them it wasnt enough and they wouldnt of had to pull my credit in the first place. Now I gave a hard inquiry that already made my credit score go down even more.

Mohawk Chevrolet is the absolute Worst Dealership Ever!!! They took advantage of my young adult son, sold him a complete Lemon Sliverado Truck that had safety hazard issues, could have caused him to be in an accident or worse. Mohawk Chevrolet not only blow off my son s concerns constantly continuously trying to tell him that he was imagining the issues; But worse they also Black Listed the Truck in question so he could not bring it to anywhere else no other Chevrolet dealership other than them & they refused to keep having him bring it in for the needed service. I witnessed on multiple occasions the truck in question having safety hazard issues, I even attempted to call on my young adult son s behalf to get no where, only thing Mohawk Chevrolet even cares about is that they make their sales & make their millions!! Mohawk Chevrolet in absolutely no way truly cares about the safety of their customers, especially their younger customers!! To add insult to injury ~~~ I have repeatedly called Mohawk Chevrolet requesting that they take both my young adult son & I off their mailing list something that they seem unable to get through their brains, they seem incapable of getting this accomplished; neither one of us want any more mail material of absolutely any kind from them, zero mailing material we want the mailings to cease completely!!!

Could not be more pleased with my experience with Mohawk Chevrolet. I have been shopping for a pre-owned Ram 15 for close to 30-days. I search nationwide to have a larger pool of trucks in which to shop with (Minnesota, Michigan, TX, TN, VA, NJ, and NY...you name it...haha). Most of the dealers I worked with were very accommodating and a few I need to take a shower after speaking with them. However, when I came across Anthony and Jacob at Mohawk, they blew me away with their accommodations and response times. Since I lived 4 hrs away they sent me short videos of cold starts and pics which assisted me greatly in making my decision. I took 2 trains to get to get to Schenectady NY and they picked me up from the train station (talk about red carpet service). The driver who picked me up even recommended a local eatery to go to after I picked up the truck. Now I work in mortgage sales so when I see/feel great service, I make mention of it as they earned it. Thank you Mohawk for helping me buy my new truck. Kasey, my sales representative, product knowledge was top notch ( trust me, I spent 6 months educating myself on the mini-max and the 1500s ). He responded promptly with answers when I had questions throughout the waiting period of ordering a vehicle. The facility is state-of-the-art, clean, friendly, and, from what I read, possesses some tasty donuts (inside joke). Kasey dealt with some issues that were no fault of his or Mohawk Chevrolet with ease. Unfortunately, the truck we had ordered had significant setbacks in being delivered on its projected date, so Kasey acted quickly, locating a similar match within just a few days. This was probably the easiest auto purchase I ve ever made (even easier than my past two purchases w/Carvana). I don t have great credit, my trade-in was in so-so condition and I live out-of-state. From the time I started showing interest in a truck to the time I drove away in it was 5 days (including a weekend). Allison went above and beyond to make sure all my preferences were met, George made sure my registration and everything else was taken care of (which wasn t the easiest being from another state) and he even sent Ashley a delivery driver to meet me at my insurance company s office in my state. Ashley was awesome and stayed w/me the entire time to make sure everything went smoothly. I normally don t leave reviews but I had to for this. Great staff and people who really care. Everything went so well that my wife is even thinking of getting a new car through them. Highly recommend!

Our experience at the dealership was ok. The staff was very friendly and they greeted us promptly and with a smile. My only problem with the dealership is the amount of time it takes to do the work. My wife and I sat for 2 hours waiting for an oil change and a tire pressure sensor fix. I feel this is a bit excessive. Overall though, I will always bring my vehicle back to them. I might not wait around for it though.
The staff was friendly, the accomodations were appreciated. I was also able to learn about a repair plan I was not aware of. A lot of the plans I brought at purchase time have expired which is a flaw with all new car purchases. Glad I made the right purchase choice four years ago

The place was pretty amazing in the start of our buying process. However due to transportation issues we had to wait 10 weeks for our vehicle. However Will our sales rep helped us close a deal on the vehicle we had been waiting for and was told it should only of taken 2 weeks. The staff was super friendly. They only loss one star for the 10 + week wait for the original truck we wanted to buy. And never got.

Sales experience was 6/10 but service could not have cared less when i had brake issues after driving off the lot. Had i not known what i was talking about having worked in dealers in the past they definitely would have blown me off. After numerous blown off phone calls and text messages they made it right and replaced my brakes that should have never passed NYS inspection to begin with, upon picking up my truck from having the brakes done there was more issues that the service techs tried to hide, and upon finding them i was told the service manager would reach out to me about the issue (most likely to apologize to me to keep my business) which never happened. I took the truck home and fixed it myself and have not been back, nor have i heard from anyone in the service department. I planned to take my truck there for service, but after that debacle i will not be going there for any service or new vehicles again

First car buying experience was not pleasant. To start I had to work with newly employed workers for sale & financial both were not informative nor did they have the people skills. Salesman didn t seem to know much about being a car salesman. The financial manager I worked with only cared about making his quota for the end of the month. Went back the next day to re contract and worked with different people who were much better at their jobs. Won t be buying my next car from them ..
I recently had a great buying experience with grace and her team at Mohawk Chevrolet. They offered a Very fair trade in with a fair price on a used tuck. I have a very busy schedule and grace was accommodating, responsive and willing to deliver the truck and take back my trade making the whole buying process very easy.
Wasnt the best at all. Found myself waiting 2 weeks for a car I was told would be ready in 3 days. I was told to pick up the car one time i drove down and the system was down so i left without it again. Switching of agents to try and get you flustered in details was annoying.
My sales rep Brandon Gaudin was great to work with, he really went above and beyond to secure our desired car and ensure top quality. Spoke to sales manager Lindsay this morning inquiring about a 2022 Hyundai Palisade that they had on their website. She confirmed they had it and made an appointment for the afternoon. I called her before I left and informed her I was on my way. She told me she would have the vehicle ready and a salesperson that would assist me. I drove 35 minutes from Albany and sat for 20 minutes while the salesman tried to locate the car only to find out that it was not, in fact, on property but was being serviced at a Hyundai dealer. I hate having my time wasted. There were two opportunities to make sure that the vehicle that I expressed interest in was ready. Totally dropped the ball and cost me an hour and a half. Terrible way to earn business. They can earn it back by driving the vehicle down to my house and letting me test drive it down here. Unlikely to happen. And why? Because time is money and they dont want to waste theirs.
Mohawk Chevrolet had a large inventory of Tahoes to choose from. Karley did an excellent job of guiding me through the vehicle model options. I arrived at 4PM on a Friday and had a deal by 6. A wonderful experience.

$204 just to put a license plate on the front of a car. Outrageous! More than twice what I thought it would cost & what a reasonable charge for such a quick & simple thing would be. I used to like this place. Even bought a car at a good deal from here years ago. But after this I will never go back for anything ever again. I don t like going to places that make me feel like I ve been fleeced when I leave.
I ve had my fair share of experiences at dealerships that felt sketchy and overly sales-driven, so I didn t expect much going into Mohawk. However, I was genuinely impressed and left with a great sense of satisfaction just like the feeling you get from a trusted community dealership. I was able to leasing my car the same day, which is a huge deal for me considering I had to go through the whole process again after my 2024 car was totaled. Jacob really made the paperwork and negotiations as smooth as possible, which I truly appreciated. My sales guy, Nick, was supportive and never pushy. He listened to what I wanted and presented the perfect options, ultimately offering me a great deal on the car I had my eye on. How can you sell a GM certified vehicle that has and aftermarket lift kit that wasn t installed properly and not tell your customer about it then try to cover it up and quote me $3000 to replace the shocks and struts not to mention I have only made 7 payments and the transmission is shot after bringing this to their attention prior to I breaking and they said there s nothing wrong with it don t buy a vehicle from Mohawk they do bad business , trying to raise two kids as a single father and the completely screwed me and my family
I visited Mohawk after not being able to get an early enough appointment at my usual service department at another dealership. My check engine light was on and I didn t feel safe not having it diagnosed as soon as possible. The service department at Mohawk got me right in and gave my car a quick diagnosis. I had my car appraised while there and found out it was worth more than I thought even with the repair it needed. Thanks to the awesome team of professionals at Mohawk, I decided to trade in my old 2018 Chevy Equinox for a brand new 2025. I am very happy with my purchase and would buy more cars from Mohawk. Jake was my salesman. I found him to be professional, efficient and attentive to my needs and what I was looking for. I didn t feel pressured into the sale and was able to leave feeling like I got what I wanted. Even when I met with the finance guy, he was up front and transparent about the fine print in my contract. There was nothing I read in the contract that he didn t disclose to me up front. If you are looking for a great sales guy who will get you into a good vehicle, go see Jake at Mohawk. Literally everyone I talked to and had to deal with there was awesome. Warning lights were flashing on my trucks dash, ABS, Traction Control/Stabilitrac, Trailer Brake, ... and then 4WD. I brought it in to Greg Rivers and the team at Mohawk fearing the worst. Turned out it was a wheel bearing and speed sensor for the first set of light warnings and then the tech was able to reprogram the transfer control module (instead of replacing it) to address the 4WD. When it was ready Greg sent Scott to pick me up at home as my wife was at work and I had no ride, the truck we fully repaired, the techs are the best and did a great job all leading to a excellent vehicle service experience. Great team at Mohawk.

Yesterday my husband Scott wanted to get a bigger truck (he bought his first truck from Mohawk Chevy also). This was supposed to be our first stop of a few looking at a new truck. Karley greeted us with a huge smile when we arrived at 3pm. We wanted to special order a truck but she said let s see if we can find you what you want here and you can take advantage of the month end discounts. (This I knew I had spent over 20+ years in the car business). I let her know that I know the car business inside and out and absolutely no funny business. She replied with, yes mamm . Actually what she said was, you know where to find me, so . I burst out laughing and she continued to impress me for the next 7 hours we were there. At around 7pm, she asked if we were hungry and then ordered food (no one does this). Well, Karley found us a truck that my husband fell in love with and the rest is history. We left at 10pm with the new truck, and nothing but amazing things to say about MOHAWK CHEVY!! Yes, they stayed until the insurance and everything was done, we were the last people to leave. Jacob quoted us 47795 on a new traverse vehicle over the phone then took our card number for a deposit. Said he would update us weekly on the status of our vehicle. Noticed they never took the money out they tried to get ahold of him and he wouldnt answer our calls or texts. We went there to see what was going on and bc they didnt take the money out of our account therefore was invalid. Unfortunately they wouldnt make it right so we will never do business here.!

I leased a Blazer EV through Mohawk Chevrolet in Ballston Spa, NY on July 9, 2024. My first contact was through email with Kate Gumienny. We negotiated lease terms that were acceptable to me, so I made an appointment to come in, value my trade, and make a decision. Once at the dealership, my salesperson was Derek Castillo. Derek was polite and easy to deal with, he even insisted that we take a tour of the dealership, which looks like its new. We test drove the vehicle, I liked it, so we went in talked numbers, to my surprise, they were not the numbers I had emailed about. However, they did remedy this. The sticking point was the trade value. We were far apart, but they moved up to my number, so I proceeded with the deal. I would put some equity from the trade down toward the lease, and for the remaining equity they would cut me a check. There were two issues with the deal mainly, and why Ive waited a while to write a review. The first issue was the vehicle had dealership decals all over the vehicle. No problem I was assured. They removed the decals, but they left a slight residue that wasnt noticeable when the vehicle was super clean. A few weeks after the vehicle got dirty is when you could notice the outlines, if you were looking for them. There also appears to be some spots where glue was. The other issue was the check, I didnt know when the expect it, and didnt really get an answer that I can recall while I was at the dealership. These issues resulted in me contacting the dealership. Getting a response at first was not as easy as I would have hoped, and ultimately resulted in me emailing the General Manager of Sales, and he was very responsive. After two days I was able to schedule a detail to remove the residue from the decals, and that my check would be coming in the next few days. Im happy to report that the check did arrive, so Im mostly a satisfied customer at this point, it just depends on how well they can detail the outside of the vehicle. Update: Mohawk Chevy did a fantastic job fixing the cosmetic issues, it looks like it never had any decals on it! The service department did a great job, and I want to point out Jay was fantastic!

Also they bought it from me and gave me depreciation value- I should have gotten what they are selling it for $44,500. (Mileage 265) New engine replace @ 200 miles Also they never told me it was fixed.

Rarely do I ever make reviews but Im making one today. Husband and I are looking for a new truck, found one we liked in amsterdam but the same exact one besides a sprayed bed liner, was listed on mohawk for roughly 3 grand less. Messaged mohawk to set up for a test drive and in the middle of making the appt Im told; full disclosure the price is more bc we added upgrades. So I go the truck is listed for 42k so thats not the price? They go no we did upgrades its more and we will message you the price..I told them ok please let me know ASAP bc I wasnt going to waste either of our time test driving if it was way out of budget. They messaged me back that the truck is now 60k! I go that was a huge jump from 42k what are the upgrades? No answer. So I messaged them back stating that you should list the truck upgrades and accurate price online not the 42k bc you clearly dont have a truck in that price range. Classic bait and switch. Im glad I messaged them and didnt just show up bc I would have been beyond mad. Will not ever give them business.
Worst experience ever with Mohawk Chevrolet, they should be beyond ashamed of themselves. They took extreme advantage of my young adult son, as they convinced him to trade his one truck in for another Chevrolet truck which was an extremely huge safety hazard truck. All my son wanted was to have the truck work properly & not try to cause him to have a crash from another vehicle that would be considered his fault due to the malfunctioning of the truck which Mohawk Chevrolet convinced him to take on. Mohawk Chevrolet refused to look at the truck in their service department, even though my son kept trying to request they check it out. As if that was not enough Mohawk Chevrolet also had the nerve to black list his truck so that he could not have it checked out by any other Chevrolet dealership, like they were afraid of what another dealership would find was wrong with the truck. I highly DO NOT recommend anyone do any type of business with Mohawk Chevrolet ever, they DO NOT treat their customers correctly, they take advantage of young adults. Mohawk Chevrolet rips anyone they can off whenever they can.

Was contacted by these guys to buy one of my cars. They offered me 2400$ for it just told me to drive it over so I did and when I got there and they learned i wasn t going to buy a car that looses its value 30% the moment you sign for the keys the temperature completely changed. Now I could only get 500$ for a car that runs good drives good has good tire heat and a/c works. the thing had 1 small rust spot on the hood that could be fixed pretty easily. The appraiser apparently needs to go back to school. Aaron sealy is a moron. Moral of the story if these guys contact you and sell you a dream it s probably just that a dream.

I purchased a 2018 Toyota Tundra from this dealer a few months ago. About a month after I bought it I realized the air filter was missing and the air box was left open! Now today I do an oil change and notice the oil filter cap is missing the perforated center tube which stops the filter from collapsing and starving the engine of oil! This is inexcusable! Last I checked their labor rate was $170hr and there techs cant even do the simplest maintenance properly. Now my engine has experienced irreversible internal wear! I have 3 family members who are looking for used cars and Im telling them all to stay away from this dealer.

After thinking about this for a while, Im going to give this dealership one star. At first, the service was great, and we were putting a deal for a new truck together. Unfortunately, after I decided I didnt want the truck they got very pushy and stated that they, unregistered my truck, ripped my registration and inspection sticker off my truck, and I had to leave with a new vehicle. I left my truck overnight with them until I could figure out what to do the next day, and then took it home. When I got home, I noticed they had scratched both of my bumpers and my rear quarter panel, to which they said they didnt do that even though the truck wasnt scratched the night before. I had to fight tooth and nail to get them to fix it, and even when they did, the fix wasnt 100% what I would have liked. On top of all that, the salesperson I had said I was less connected to reality than the average person. Im glad the deal for the new truck didnt work out because if this is their customer service, I dont want any part of it. I definitely wont be going back here ever again.

I Drove three hours round trip to go look at a list of brand new trucks that it said were all in stock on their website just to be told once I got there that none of them actually exist or that they are being used as loaner cars for the dealer and I would have to wait for someone to stop using the brand new car and bring it back if I wanted to look at it unless I wanted to spend an extra 10k or get a used truck with 50k miles on it for basically the same price as the new one I came to look at in the first place. Complete waste of time and very unprofessional. The salesman was more interested in getting my information into their system then actually helping me out and kept trying to get me to make deals on a truck I couldn t even actually look at.
Very nice showroom and staff. A well-oiled machine that took care of us for the whole experience on a very busy night. I would definitely go back there for sales. Unfortunately, I live too far away to have my car maintained there.

I bought this car while residing in Utah, Lindsay was very helpful and knowledgable of how to proceed with a deposit and sale. Finance manager, Bryan Poole, was great in getting me paperwork and finding me a loan. He made this very easy for me considering I was in Utah. He arranged transportation of the vehicle to me. I couldnt of asked for better customer service all the way around.
I cannot recommend Shawn Sheldon enough. He went the extra mile to accommodate and managed the whole transaction with fairness and professionalism. Shawn was not only able to give me a discount, but then talked with GM when my rebate was denied and turned it around. He offered to have extra equipment delivered, but then could not follow through due to technicalities; so he asked me to drive out and collect, waving installation fees and filling my tank with gas for my trouble. My advice is to ask for him when dealing with their sales department.
The best buying experience I have had purchasing a new vehicle. I m a car guy who is buying and trading often. I had a team of help purchasing my new truck. From Andy, Katie, Pedro, George, James, & two other people that just walk by introducing themselves making it known they were there for me. I cannot remember there names, sorry! Pedro sat me down and asked me what I wanted in my new truck. Pedro was not just a car salesman he was someone that listened and provided me with exactly what I asked for. Katie gets all the credit for the color as she nailed it! I never had a red color vehicle, but this was no ordinary red! Honestly, I felt right at home with Mohawk. The feeling I instantly had was that I was among hard working Americans like myself buying a great American vehicle & they were all there for me. I will definitely be back to see this crew for future purchases. On another note, I would like to add that I had gone to Mohawk Chevy for services on a non-CHEVROLET vehicle in the past. Mohawk Chevy has a state of the art service center to meet all your needs and they offer very fair prices. I interacted with no less than 7 people in this transaction. I kept getting passed off to someone else. I have probably bought 50 cars in my lifetime and never have I been passed around so many times. Dont get me wrong except for the dealings I had with the extended warranty person all were pleasant. I specifically told the extended warranty person I wasnt interested and he insisted on going through everything. I relented and in the end, when I said I was still not interested he pushed even more asking why not. As if I owed him a reason. IMO disrespectful.

Found a truck online from this dealership, spoke to someone and payed a $500 deposit. Without having my credit run I was given an estimated monthly payment higher than I wanted and an equally high interest rate. It was decided to run my credit knowing it was very good(750+) and I have a fairly decent down payment which should help get the payment to where I needed it to be and the interest rate down as well. Over a 24 hour period I spoke to at least 5 different people all kept telling me I would have an answer soon. I called and email and didn t get a reply. When I called for the third time on the second day I was told no one called me back because multiple people had just been fired and someone would definitely be calling me right back. This time someone did and I was told I had been approved for financing but it was the same payment I was quoted before having my credit run. I had even mentioned earlier in the day I was willing to add to my down payment to make things work but the last phone call the gentleman I spoke with didn t have any interest in making a deal.. A complete waste of my time and nothing but the run around from an unprofessional dealership that doesn t seem to have their stuff together. Very disappointing

Buying a car can be a daunting and overwhelming process, especially when going at it for the time by myself but from the time I walked into the dealership and was greeted with warmth by Joanna I was at peace, not nervous and didn t have the jitters. Then being introduced to Pedro and Grace and again them greeting me with warmth, showing me around the showroom and service areas, having every step of the process being explained to me and every question I had answered with a level of hospitality like none other made me want to sign on the dotted line right then and there. Everyone I encountered was professional and courteous: Nate, George L., Jack D., Jack M, Nathan. No one was pushy or acted like they weren t interested in fulfilling my specific desires in a car like at other dealerships. It was well worth the drive from Kingston, NY to Ballston Spa (about a 1.5 hour drive each way). I liked my experience so much that I may even consider making the drive when and if my car needs service when there s a Chevy dealership in Kingston. Every mile I drive I will think of you all. You will forever be apart of mine and Daylite 2.0 s (my car) driving family. Oil change and inspection
Sorry but I m not impressed. I stopped in Tuesday to look at and possibly buy a car. I had the cash and one question. The carfax showed the car had failed emission testing but passed a day later. I asked what had happened and if it was just the ECM monitors not ready or something else. They took my name and number and said they would get back to me. Today is Friday and still nothing from them.
very unprofessional. terrible communication. makes promises and then does not keep them, especially management. Highly recommend a place like DePaula or Denooyer, a place with a more proved track record and better communication. it took Mohawk almost 10 days to relay what Denooyer did in 20 minutes. Steer clear!

Super grateful for Greg and the tech team that helped me today! My husband and I are traveling and noticed some issues with our truck shaking. They were able to get us in within the next day or two (another nearby dealer couldn t get me in for another 2 weeks)! I was an hour ahead of my appointment time but they were able to get me in and looked at sooner which was great. They worked with my warranty and asked for a car rental through the warranty for the next two days since it would take a little time to work on the truck. The rental place was unable to get a car out to me until about 4/430pm. Greg saw I was still there and told me they were making great progress with my truck and to my surprise, I was able to drive my truck home by 5pm, only a half hour later than the rental estimate which saved me the hassle of returning it. Very grateful for the customer service and timely repairs!
