This place is awesome! We had a blinking urgent engine light, and within a day, they fixed the issue at a cost! Cody was really honest about what we might need to look into for the future, and they did the job right!
Randy fixed my water pump and thermostat for 2/3 the price if the lowest estimate I could get. Got the car done in half a day. Completely fixed overheating issues. Car runs like new again. On my way home from Brooklyn to Toronto, my car broke down, and in a miracle, by some grace or faith, I managed to reach Randy’s shop. After all, the other shops in the area said they were too busy and couldn't take a last-minute repair. Randy’s kind heart and hard work got me able to be back on the road in time for a surprise birthday party! I couldn’t recommend this place more than all I just said. Let the work speak for itself when you get a fix by Randy!
If I could only go to one place to fix my car for the rest of my life, I would bring it to Randy. After a four hour drive from Brooklyn, my car started to smoke. Thank goodness the manager at my hotel directed me to Randy. He understood my urgency, and after showing me under the hood what was wrong, got his guys on it and it was fixed within hours. Unlike other auto shops, you don't have to worry about this place nickel and diming you. Randy is super busy and that would just be a waste of his time. The prices are fair and the job well done. I highly recommend!
Randy and his team are honest and have fixed my vehicle as well as my wife’s on countless occasions. I have gotten quotes from other dealerships for repairs and his price was always significantly lower (most times by half). We have always received invoices with an outline of the labor completed and we appreciate how quickly he gets repairs completed. We highly recommend taking your business to him.

We go there because Randy is honest and fair to his customers as well as pleasant. He really knows cars and always gets you in for whatever you need to be done on your car. Work is done in a reasonable amount of time. Prices are always extremely fair and you drive away knowing your car is fixed and fixed correctly. 👌 Best auto repair shop in the area. Sure hope that when Randy retires that his son is very much like him. Honest, fair prices, and knows what needs to be fixed on your car.
The owner and son need to get organized better by making appointments and ordering parts in a timely manner . They need to order parts correctly and get smaller jobs out quicker. They need a system to get things done in a timely fashion. Larger jobs people need to be informed better going to be a couple days. You don't need to take on new work when they're overloaded with jobs that have been there for days or weeks. They need to get an appointment book for work and schedule for service.
You need service done on your vehicle...this is the place.

Horrible customer service, walked in to get my clutch on my car looked at, when I arrived and walked inside. Randy was getting rude with the customers that were already there, I stood there and was in utter shock when a cockroach literally ran through the building and all he did was stomp on it and continue to yell at this couple because he supposedly overcharged them for what he fixed on there car, DO NOT GO HERE

Quality work in a hurry. Great shop. Great owner. The office is one of the coolest Ive ever seen. As soon as you walk in you get a good sense of their sense of humor and whos they are. Great place to get your car fixed. Had an issue, went in to get it looked at, and was given a great number then and there. They set realistic expectations yet delivered beyond that. Great customer service, they definitely promote a friendly environment. 10/10 would recommend.
Great owner and staff
Took the truck in for a fuel cooler leak, was quoted under $500 explained I needed the truck by the end of the week for work, after multiple phone calls a 2 weeks of waiting Randy informed me my bill was $2000. I never heard during the time they had the truck, that they where replacing the trans cooler, and all the trans lines, he claimed they leaked, yet the truck never used any trans fluid. The front of the truck had a vibration and I asked them multiple times while asking when the truck would be done, for them to please inspect the front end, specifically the drivers side. They claimed nothing was wrong. 1000 miles later, the frame is broke and the A arm is no longer attached. The truck is junk, and not repairable. I wouldnt recommend taking any vehicle to this place.
If they quote a price dont just give them what they want.The people are really cool and their work is amazing.
Had a broken shackle on my Chevy truck it was part of the frame I was told it was junk Randy and the boys cut one off another truck welded it on my truck is still alive and Im happy thank you much and Randy great job

Do your research on a new radiator before you go here..I made a huge mistake and didnt look on ebay and ended up paying way more for this shop to fix my radiator then a new aftermarket one cost..145bucks for a new one 225 bucks for them to butcher my oem one

Where do I begin. I was overcharged by $500 from the original quote even though the original quote was quoted three separate times. When I picked up my vehicle the engine oil filter was loose and dripping oil . The oil dipstick was broken. check engine light was on , the belt was squeaking , the air conditioning was not working, my front end was rattling and out of alignment . Apportion of my air filter housing is missing . all these things were in perfect working order and present prior leaving it at their shop for an engine replacement.
The owner of New York Auto Radiator, Inc and his workers is great at what they do when they fix cars. The prices is reasonable and fair by owner.

I was traveling from Georgia to Maine with my daughter to spend some time with family. Last Monday we made it to New York welcome center On 81 north when my radiator gave out @ 10:30pm. After letting engine cool and getting water i was able to limp it to nearest radiator repair shop that i googled ( New York auto Radiator) Arrived at 3:30 am and waiting for opening at 8am, At 6:45 i heard noises from shop, door was open Roger greeted me. I told him my problem and how i was traveling. He immediately checked out my car. Replaced my radiator and had me and daughter back on the road before 8:30 am. I cannot express the stress i was feeling that whole night & the relief it was after his experience crew repaired my car. Quickly and efficiently. After traveling 8 hours and arriving in Maine with family & being refreshed i need to write a review which i never do. But i have never gotten this immediate service from any shop in Maine or Georgia. Thank you Roger and thank you New York Auto Radiator crew you all where exceptional

These guys were great. Just needed an inspection. Called and got a day and time. Arrived a few munites early. Pulled my car in exactly on time, had one concern that did not effect the inspection that they voiced to me and I was on my way in 15 minutes. Best ever NY inspection! Highly recommend.

Back in November we had car trouble as we were heading to visit family. We were driving from Virginia and started with our Jeep not being able to go faster than 40. We got to Binghamton and tried a dealership and they couldn t help. Eventually we found a place to stay and we were telling the hotel person what was going on. A young gentleman named Cody said his Dad owned a garage and he could probably help. He called his Dad and my husband explained what was going on. The Dad (Randy), told us to bring our vehicle in the next day which was Saturday. He found the problem and had it fixed in 2 1/2 hours. It is nice to know there are still some good people around willing to help. Randy told us the cost and asked if that sounded fair. We couldn t believe the low amount he was charging. We will be forever grateful for Cody and Randy. We are very blessed.

This place is a good place to take your car to, BUT! WORD OF WARNING Make sure to have a work order written up for any and all work preformed on your vehicle. This way when the garage insists that you stated what he sold you is what you said, but you know you didnt ask for that. You have it in writing.
I ve gone to NY radiator over the years for many different services including inspection ,water pump, wheel bearing and brakes and each and every single time. I have had a good expierience. Randy and the other guys here are great and they re fair. You can call around and compare prices because I ve done it but Randy is the most fair! And I appreciate all the hard work and fair prices. These guys had me in and out in 10 minutes on both times. Got the radiator fixed for 75 bucks. Far cry from the $200. Replacement cost..

Randy is an honest guy and has a great personality. Will go out of his way to make sure you are satisfied. Keeps to a tight schedule as well, unlike many mechanics in the area, yet still finds a way to fit in good customers on short notice.
Randy is fantastic! He takes care of people. He doesnt work off commission. He doesnt go looking for things to be wrong. He fixes what you ask him to. Of course if he finds something, he will make you aware of it. Many years ago, on my older car with older a/c, he was the only one that would fix it for me without robbing me blind. I cant imagine taking my car anywhere else!

They did quality work at a great price. I had an issue with my muffler that would cost hundreds (at least) to fix properly, so I wanted to find someone who could do a good job of patching it for relatively cheap. Randy at NY Auto radiator was recommended to me by a friend of mine who knows a lot about cars. Im always a bit nervous in these situation because I know nothing about cars and so am vulnerable to being swindled by mechanics (it certainly has happened before). But Randy and his team were awesome. They did a great job of fixing my muffler and for a lot less money than I thought I would have to spend. Thanks!

Randy was amazing. I walked in without calling ahead, he looked at my truck and diagnosed the issue within minutes. I drove from Endicott with no back up ride and he offered to put me ahead of other jobs so I didnt have to wait long. Two hours later I had a brand new radiator at an excellent price! Highly recommend! Very personable guy, too. :)
