Alex came by because our A/C units were not cooling well at the end of last summer. He could not have done a better job. He explained what needed done in detail, how much it would cost, did the job well, cleaned the area, and showed us that the air was cooling very well. We ll call him and 212 HVAC again!

Fabulous service by an extremely competent technician. Our Rheem furnace was giving us lots of trouble, thanks to a sloppy installation. The original installer, after having charged an extortionate fee, gave us a major runaround about trying to fix it. 212 HVAC came promptly, almost immediately diagnosed the problem, and fixed it in about as short a time as it could have been done. Highly recommend.

After a frustrating experience with another HVAC company that misdiagnosed my Daikin systems intermittent U4 error and incorrectly recommended an expensive pressure switch replacement, I found 212HVAC. Their service technician Andrei was in a completely different league - he demonstrated exceptional diagnostic skills by systematically tracing the issue to its root cause. He identified that the error code U4 (which indicates indoor-outdoor unit communication failure) was being triggered by an exposed wire in the connection between the indoor unit and the outdoor sensor - completely different from the misdiagnosed pressure switch issue that would have shown as an E3 error. Andreis approach was methodical and thorough - he didnt just look for quick fixes but conducted a comprehensive system check. What particularly impressed me was Andreis attention to detail in the repair process. He not only fixed the immediate wiring issue but also inspected the entire communication line for potential future failure points. Called 212 HVAC for some help with our split units as they were not properly cooling amidst this summer heat. They sent someone the next day, plus a text confirmation and a calendar invite. Andrei was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and he was able to repair the issue. It took quite some time as he had to take apart the entire condenser, but he eventually was able to repair it. We just had the BEST experience with 212 HVAC! Our AC stopped working around 8pm last night during this crazy heatwave we re having and I desperately called around to seven different places most of which were closed, but received a call back from 212 within an hour. Victor got me scheduled with our technician Nick first thing this morning and I cannot say enough great things about him! Nick called half an hour before he arrived and was right on time, which on the early side of the 2 hour window we were given. He was very thorough and extremely professional. He took care to check through everything and now our AC is back on just as the hottest part of the day is beginning. Best of all, our service was completely reasonable in pricing! 212HVAC has done service and repairs on a variety of the split unit ACs in my building. All the techs are thorough, knowledgeable and explain problems and options. Earlier this week someone came out to check on one unit and wasnt able to access the condenser and properly diagnose the issue, 212HVAC worked with me to get someone out again quickly with a longer ladder. Definitely my go-to contact for all HVAC related needs.

I had a really great time with 212 HVAC. They were really good at fixing my air conditioner . They explained me the problem and fixed it very fast. Now my system works perfectly and they paid close attention to all the details. I highly recommend 212 HVAC. Positive

They are nice but the their pricing is very strange. The techs finished the job in less than 30 minutes. But they charged me $500 plus (no parts were required), just cleaning the drain line. I changed the AC filter myself as I had an extra one in the house. Out of the $500 plus tax around $325 was the cost of the job and $175 was service charge. If the job was fixed in one visit shouldnt the customer be paying only one fee? The service charge is if the techs come to fix and and arent able to repair it then they will charge a fee just to show up (which is standard practice) but why two charges if they fixed the AC same day within 30 minutes?

I had 212 replace three air handlers and three condensing units and related services at my brownstone in Manhattan. I found them online from their excellent reviews. They were extremely responsive, professional, knowledgeable, flexible and even creative in getting the project done. I m entirely satisfied and I highly recommend this company for work on central air conditioning systems in NYC!

Overall, my experience with the 212 Team (even though its a day removed) has been great. The follow-ups (from Max) ever since the first inquiry (over the weekend and afterwork hours) was top notch. Then Max getting the go ahead to move my request (for an appointment) up due to timing becoming available between appointments....this team is on a roll. Nikita got to our place, early (cant complain about that), was able to diagnosis and solve the issue within 30/45mins. He was professional and very detailed, I am extremely happy with my experience!

I reached out to 212 because I got some recommendations from a parents group I am a part of, raving about their quality and service. I was having issues with our AC since I bought my apartment last year. A different company came out, and changed us for refilling the coolant, but didnt bother to check if there was a leak, so of course the coolant leaked out, and that was $1500 down the drain. When I contacted 212, they were able to come out and diagnose the issue. Throughout I felt they were being honest and professional. They were responsive by Phone and email, and arrived to the job on time. They are a bit pricey, but it would have been less if I contacted the pros the first time. It s definitely worth knowing the job is getting done right the first time. They were able to offer us a small discount, which really helped us to afford the repairs. Sergey, our technician was incredibly professional, honest and friendly. I would use them again, but I hope I wont need to.

212 HVAC is my go to for A/C servicing and repair. Nick, the technician, was careful, respectful, comprehensive, and helpful. I have used them for years.

As a first note, 212 HVAC is the same as Top HVAC NYC, but the latter does not answer the phone. Secondly, I reached 212 HVAC promptly and managed to schedule an appointment easily to diagnose an air handler blowing hot air (very difficult in NYC in June). I was told the diagnosis appointment would cost $149. Once the tech arrived and I showed him my air handler and condenser on the roof, he told me only the first hour of diagnosis is included in the $149 and additional time would be billed at $279, without increments (i.e. an additional 15 minutes would be billed as an hour). There is no mention of this on their website and it did not come up in my scheduling conversation. Finally, my diagnosis took 1 3/4 hours and I was billed at the stated rate. The diagnosis required a lengthy call with the manufacturer - the fix was to switch on the heat to unstick an expansion valve. Seems to work now - may need a new expansion valve in the future. Initially, I was going to give 3 stars due to pricing, but the promptness, service and fix were fine, so I am giving 4. I was told that diagnoses involving the manufacturer can involve being on hold for an hour or more, for which you will be charged - buyer beware...

I highly recommend HVAC! Top quality company with great communication a respectable team. Definitely they make a difference in NYC.

They are better than most, and their prices are very good for small stuff. I had them refill my freon twice over 12 months, and was told by a competitor they charged me a very good price. They also did not waste my time and did not try to sell me BS like almost everyone else. However, there is some stuff they wouldnt do, and for some reason would not bring their own ladders. Considering the things they would not do, their prices for bigger projects are not so competitive, but at least they are not complete crooks like half in this business.

IGNORE THIS GOOD REVIEW. I just opened the closet door behind our mini split unit and Nick did not reattach the hose to the pump, so water has leaked all over my daughters clothing and ruined the drywall. Apparently you have to check this companys work after they leave, or your stuff will be ruined. Nick arrived on time and was professional and showed me what was going on with our mini split system as he looked into the leaking water issue we were having. This was an expensive job, with the work on top of the service fee, but it looks like the original installation had some issues that needed to be addressed. Nick also checked out our other unit just to be sure it was working okay. Overall, good experience with this company.

The technicians were efficient and friendly. They also found an ingenious (but physically demanding - for them, not me) solution to getting a large unit onto my roof, which would have otherwise required a crane, so they saved me thousands of dollars.

I called this company to get an estimate on an hvac installation guy came out as scheduled took pictures and told me his suggestion of how it should be installed. I waited for an estimate from the company 10 days later nothing. I called spoke to a guy that said he had to follow up and call me back in 15 min. Two hours later he called back and apologized for the delay. He said they would be getting me an estimate by email by the next business day. I never received anything. No one ever called me back. Unprofessional!

212HVAC came to my apartment one day after I called with my HVAC problem. They evaluated it and determined my unit needed parts and sent me an estimate. I agreed to their estimate. They promptly ordered the parts I needed. There was a 2 to 3 week estimated delivery of those parts. Less than 3 weeks from the time of the estimate the parts arrived and they scheduled a service call with me. They were on time, very professional, a pleasure to do business with.

Great service ! Showed up the day after I called them. I dealt with the situation remotely as I m not in Brooklyn currently and it was done effortlessly with payment etc .. My roommate said he was very professional and nice . The problem was fixed within the hour without having to get any parts, just labor , price was reasonable . I found my HVAC people ! Thank you .

This is my first time using them and they were great! Reception could have been a bit more clear on the 2 hour window, especially with the automatic text indicating an exact time for arrival, but when I called they explained the 2 hour window. Was just glad I didnt miss them. Alex, the technician, was amazing and thorough and worked so hard in this heat. He was patient with everything going on with us still seeing cases, having to call the landlord to get access to things, and he picked up things wrong with the filter and build of the HVAC that a previous hvac company last year completely missed. Awesome. Worker was great. Had a mask on and booties. Even wore gloves. It is tough with COVID to allow people in.. The gas furnace works perfect now. Good thing too because it is cold out. My tenants are nice and warm now thanks to you Eli!!!!!!

212 HVAC came out on short notice to diagnose and repair an issue with our HVAC over the holidays (during COVID). They worked efficiently to resolve that issue and upgrade our thermostats to wireless functionality. They could have done a bit more work before providing initial estimates, as the work ultimately cost more than expected due to additional work that needed to be done (and was clearly knowable at of the first estimate had they taken the time to fully evaluate what was necessary). Nevertheless, we are very pleased with the service the whole team provided.

The 212HVAC team stuck with us through three rounds of repairs in short order. Each time we were without heating and they made us a priority, were responsive and shared what they found which actually helps us manage any future issues much better. Highly recommend them!

I have had a great experience with 212 HVAC services! This company went well above and beyond what I expected in friendliness, service and installation. They were willing to answer all of my questions and were honest and up front about their service. Watching them install an air conditioner and furnace allowed me to see the pride they take in their work and in making sure it is done right. Called in clueless about HVAC but potentially dealing with issues in my rental unit. NYC landlords are a scam, so had to bother 212 HVAC with my stupid questions. Max was super nice and patient and offered to give me free advice over email. Turns out I have a water-based heater so they can t help us, but they were helpful anyway!

Really pleased with this experience with HVAC 212. I have been preparing for the NYC heat- it s coming sooner than you would think!! Being stuck inside because of covid and not having AC would be a nightmare- so thankful for their quick and painless repairs. I can now eat my Ice cream this summer in peace- cookie dough only! Ive used 212 HVAC for two recent repairs to my hvac system, and I would recommend them to anyone. Quick response, accurate time and cost estimates, and they have provided detailed explanations of the problems and repairs.

Amid the hot weather in July my AC units decided to stop working and that is when I called Erik at 212 HVAC. After quickly coming to take a look at the unit, they were able to diagnose a problem which required them to contact the manufacturers. They did everything possible to get the units to work again and came several times to make sure that the repair was done properly. Highly recommend them not only for their vast expertise and excellent service, but also because they were always professional and very nice.

Its very rare to use the term honorable to describe an air conditioner repair service, but i have to give the 212HVAC staff high marks for standing behind their commitments. They were replacing components of a fairly old system and things did not work the first time through no fault of theirs. They simply said they would replace the faulty part and come back and work on it till it was fixed at no further cost, which they did. They were also very careful to explain to us what us wrong and the options we had -- we dont pretend to be knowledgeable but you usually know some of the issues with your system and everything they said checked out. They are also solved a problem on another central AC system that others had botched or just found to hard. Prices are reasonable, commitment is very high, and value is exceptional.

Professional service, communication was easy and hassle free. Had an emergency with my furnace, the team arrived within an hour with all the necessary equipment and were able to replace the flame sensor on the spot. Also had my blower motor checked free of charge. 5 stars with no doubt.

These guys are on point. Called them in the morning for an estimate, got Victor on the line, pretty cool dude who called me back within an hour and provided an estimate. The estimate was on par with what I expected, for an airduct cleaning of a two story appartment. They came out the next day, were very nice and professional. I am definetly sticking with them from now on!
