Very pleased with their service......especially when compared to the underhanded way Keeler does business. I find the Highline team to be professional and on point with their repairs and they never try to loop you in with confusing language or fear. If you currently bring your vehicle to a local dealership, I would recommend giving Highline a try. What do you have to lose (except a minimum of $200 a visit with a dealer). They dont have all the gimmicks that dealers offer to reel you in (car washes, fancy facilities, etc), but they are spot on with their repairs and the prices are much more in line to reality.

Heard many good things. Dave and his crew are supposedly very knowledgeable on bmws, love what they do. I have been raised with bmws and know, in the capital area there is little to no talent. I take my car to New Jersey if needed. Im Getting coilovers installed and will update once done. As of now the whole communication process was excellent, excellent pricr quote, same as highly skilled high end repair shops in NJ quoted. (Auto couture who does tons of coilover installs on bmws) Saved the trip and took it here . To my surprise, Dave has done many ,many coilover installs as well. Im sure Ill be a continuous customer. Update: awesome feedback and continuous communication on repairs being done. Im getting coilovers on a EDC suspension 2018 550 and Im happy they advised me to change mounting hardware and top mounts. I was hesitant, was going to call to tell them to go ahead but they were right as the struts top mount condition beat me to it and upon removing the front strut top mounts, the mounts failed. Im happy in away, yea no one likes to spend extra money if they dont have to but if your going to do something it is better its done right. Got me the parts within 1 day will be picking up the car tomorrow!

Once again, great work by highline motorsports. Due to terrible work done by a Firestone dealership down in Saint Augustine, Florida, Dave and his staff had to get over tightened and stripped wheel studs and lug bolts off of my M3. They took their time and did the job without causing any additional damage to my wheel or my vehicle. I highly commend them on the careful work that they ve done And getting my vehicle back to me in a timely fashion. I can t thank you guys enough great work as always.

Outstanding independent BMW mechanic. I believe I watched a Facebook ad and also had heard good things through word of mouth. I recently had purchased a 2014 BMW X5 50i from Carvana. Based on car fax service history it needed an oil change and coolant change. I figured why not give these guys a shot. I had also asked them to check the car over for me since it was covered under a limited 3 month warranty from Carvana. Sadly they discovered the upper and lower oil pan was leaking, and also I needed new inner and outer tie rod ends. No small bill, but still much cheaper than the dealer would have charged. I scheduled to have the work done a week later. It took them about a week to complete everything, but they got the warranty company to pretty much cover everything. Which was much appreciated. Throughout the week the car was being worked on they kept me updated via text. I can find no fault with this place. They are very knowledgeable about BMWs, have great communication, and all around great customer service, they have a great website, you cant go wrong. Now that I have seen the outstanding job they have done, I will be bringing my 1992 BMW 850i in for them to take a look at. Very happy I have found this place. Give them a try, you wont be disappointed!

I ve only ever had a pleasant experience at Highline, which is saying something given how unpleasant car maintenance can be. They are very helpful, the prices are reasonable and they conduct themselves honorably. They won t talk you into anything they don t believe you need. I always feel well taken care of. I m glad I found them.

I have brought my car here twice and I m 3 hours away. The reason is that Dave and his crew do impeccable work and are familiar with the less common, enthusiast BMWs that other shops (even dealers) are not interested in. If you want an enthusiast to work on your car, you come here, even if you re 3 hours away.

I can t say enough these guys. I own a 530 series and took it in to the dealer for an oil change and tire rotation. They did a multi point inspection and indicated that the rear differential seals were seeping and should be replaced. I asked the cost and was told approximately $3000. They also indicated that the work didn t need to be done immediately but within a month or two. I decided to stop by Highland Motor Sports. They looked the seals over and said that the seals didn t need to be replaced. They said to bring my car there for the next oil change and they would inspect the seals at that time. I just had the oil changed at Highland. They took me out to the shop and to my surprise there was absolutely zero damage to the rear differential seals. Stay away from dealers unless under warranty. For great service at a fair price, do yourself a favor and use these guys instead!!

Updated review November 2024... I took my BMW to Highline for an alignment and some other odds and ends. I was given a quote for the work and thats what I was actually charged, no surprises. I was kept updated of progress (the car was at their shop for awhile waiting for parts). The car has been great since picking it up a few weeks ago. I recommend Highline for their expertise, honest pricing, and good communication/status updates. Original review: I ran into a fitment issue with an aftermarket part I purchased online and am installing myself into a 325xi. Brian and the guys at Highline had encountered a similar problem themselves before, and provided me advice (and an old part they had laying around in the shop) that worked perfectly. Their experience, and willingness to share it with me, saved me literally over a thousand dollars and enabled me to finish the job at home in an hour. This advice (and part) from Highline demonstrates their expertise, honesty, and a passion in their craft to prioritize truly helping a customer above just making a profit. Trust me, when there is a repair I am not able or willing to do myself, I will absolutely bring my car to be serviced at Highline Motor Sports.

I brought my car into one of the local dealerships for an oil change. They send me an email (because they have no customer service at all) that rodents chewed my engine wires and it s going to cost me $900 to fix!!!!!!! This is the 2nd time in less than 2 years!!!! I have heard in passing from friends that Highline motorsports in Burnt Hills specializes in BMWs and provides excellent service! Well, I picked my car up from the dealership because I was so bothered by the picture they sent me that looks like nothing was wrong and the $900 bill and I brought it right over to Highline motorsports. Within two hours, they called me and told me That the wire was fixed and my car was ready to be picked up! Total amount due for service $170!!!!!! I saved $730 by going to Highline Motorsports group instead of being robbed by a dealership!!!!! Thank you to Brad and Highline Motorsports for your professionalism, friendliness, phenomenal service and unbelievable pricing! I will now be a regular customer!

I brought my car in for extensive repairs on the valve cover, turbos, diagnostics and etc,, although it took some time to complete/receive parts in, Ryan walker did an amazing job fixing my 328i twin turbos. I also had a previous bumper sticking out due to an accident and without even asking he went and fixed it for me and I noticed it once I picked the car up. I will definitely come here again, the cost is absolutely worth the time and effort the techs here offer for BMW s.

Made an appointment online for an oil change for my 2021 X5. Was in and out in less then an hour. Brad was kind enough to refer me to a shop up the road to do an inspection and was in and out in 15 minutes. Overall great experience and will be taking my BMW back to Highline Motorsports for my next service!

engine ecu (dme) was in an inoperable state due to failed flash. faults stored for remote update failure. I didn t know where I can take it M340i. bmw dealer gave me 4.5k quote, then one of my colleague suggested me this place and when I spoke to DAVE I understood the knowledge he had on BMW s and he fixed it for less than half the quote that bmw dealer gave me. Highly Trustable people with Great skills and knowledge. If you re thinking about taking your car there, just do it you won t regret it.

Brad, Dave and the team at Highline Motorsports are without a doubt, the premiere BMW service center in NY State, if not the entire northeast. I have been coming here from NYC for 3 years now. It is a 3.5 hour drive for me. And it is worth every mile. They have been servicing my E70 over that period. They are extremely fairly priced, for the quality of their work, are kind, thoughtful and most importantly, extremely knowledgeable about their business and the mechanics of BMW. Overcharges, dramatizes problems do not go go somewhere welse

Had an electrical issue nobody could figure out. Took it to 3 different shops, spent $3000 at the dealer and still had the same issue. I almost sold my car until I found Highline, theyre the only shop that could fix my issue and within 2 days I was able to drive my car again no problems. I will only take my BMW to the experts from now on! Dont waste your time and money at other shops.

I stored my Porsche over the winter. It very clean and organized. The storage is heated and you can bring your battery tender. Additionally if you bring a car cover they will use it fir your car. The staff if very friendly and knowledgeable. A shout out to Brad. He is the best. Thank you Highline for protecting mu car all winter

These guys did a great job with a tough job. Getting under the car after an x5 engine swap all hoses were routed correctly and no apparent shortcuts were taken. I will definitely go back if I need service again.

I typically do not write reviews. However, Dave and his team are very deserving of a raving review. I have been instructing for BMW, Porsche, Ferrari, and Audi amongst other car clubs for over 25 years. I live in CT and happily drive two and a half hours up to Highline Motorsports to get things done properly. Dave and his team have worked on my CMod track car(E36M3) my sweet and delicious E46M3 and my E46 vert. I am very particular about who I allow near my precious cars. Specifically because it typically involves a deep dive into the motor. The work they do is always impeccable. Beyond being reasonably priced, Dave and his team are genuinely honest, incredibly knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. I could not give them a more stellar recommendation. Mike B

Had a great experience. Oil change and air filters for $289 and change. Keep in mind i was quoted $540 from the dealer. Im a happy customer and will return for bmw service.

Brad and his team are honest, competent, accommodating, and clearly experienced. Their prices are reasonable, and they take pride in their work. Doesn t hurt that they have hordes of interesting BMWs around the shop. Recommend.

Update on 08/11/2023: Ive been a customer since 2019, and Ive done all of the major repairs there. However, as evidenced by a recent less-than-ideal experience, it doesnt matter much: 1. Had to pay coding and diag fee for an unsuccessful coding because the part I supplied was defective. I had already paid a diag fee for the same issue earlier. In short, I paid the diag fee twice in addition to the coding fee, but none of this seems to matter. 2. Requested that the defective part not be installed as I have to return it; but, when I returned home, I discovered that it had been installed; I had to uninstall it and install the original part myself, despite having paid for the unsuccessful service. 3. Had an odd experience with an employee when I went to pick up the car between 5 and 6 p.m. 4. I hate leaving negative reviews, so I messaged them privately on Facebook. They said I should get a call, but I havent received one yet. Old Review: The transfer case and all brake rotors and pads were recently replaced. The brakes have a new feel, and the transfer case issue has been resolved. Excellent work.

I never post reviews but had to about my poor experience with Highline. Dropped my BMW off end of June 2023. I knew that the issue was probably the valve seals as I had read up about the problem I was having with the exhaust and was prepared to pay at least $4000 to fix the issue. No contact from Brad for 2 weeks, then called to find out that the car had still not made it into the shop. Was told that it was scheduled to be looked at today and that I would be contacted as soon as they had an estimate for repairs. Coincidence?? Not quite, never heard back and called 1 week later to find out that it would be evaluated right away. 3 weeks now but Im a reasonable person as I understand the issues with businesses in the current environment. Finally receive a call that they do not repair valve stem seals on a 645ci because it takes too long. Unbelievable as I had explained that this was most likely the issue before I dropped the car off!! I asked if they knew who could do it and was told they really dont know. Theyve told some people they should just get a new engine as it might be less expensive than the repair. Ended up paying $1100 anyway for estimate, oil change and vacuum leak repair but brought the car home leaking more oil than before I brought it in. I would not call them back to find out why!! On top of it, they charged a 3% additional fee because I used my debit card and didnt pay with cash. I know some businesses do that now, but it should have been clearly communicated before I picked up the vehicle. I could have paid with cash. The entire bad experience took 29 days!! Funny how they advertise about not going to the dealer. I will be contacting the local BMW dealership for my business next.

Highline diagnosed my car with having the company who replaced my windshield, with putting it in wrong, which then made some of my intelligent safety system to fail. Brad from highline then sent the information over to the company who replaced my glass and the glass company then replaced my windshield with a genuine BMW windshield. I called Highline Motorsports to a get quote for full brake job (rotors/pads/flush) and they were a good amount less expensive than Keeler which is across the street from my work. Highline let me know theyd come to me, pick up my car, do the work, and return the car to my office same day. Great service, brakes are fantastic....just could not have had a more seamless experience. Factory trained BMW enthusiasts! Biggest no brainer in the history of the earth.

I reached out to Highline after terrible news from Flynn BMW about needing to replace my transfer case. I was so excited to find people willing to work with me to find a reasonable solution to fix my problem. The people at Highline are great. I will never go to a BMW dealer again.

Honest people... My power steering system failed, among other things. Highline did work on it, noticed it was adding up fast, informed me that I shouldnt waste my money, and they didnt even charge me for their time. They also did not try to buy the car to resell it like some places do. Honest people.

This review is from past experience. I was told to take my business elsewhere after I had Highline Motorsports balance and mount tires I purchased from them.Few days later I messaged saying my wheel weight was not put properly on my wheel. As it was causing vibrations.It was very noticeable that it was a installation error and was a mistake that could of been fixed in less than 30 minutes.Unfortunately instead of fixing the issue I was told to take my business elsewhere and that he wants nothing to do with me. Dave the owner has helped me a few times prior to this event helping with diagnostics on determining my car having a bad engine and minor issues that he fixed without issue. But I assume when it comes to making things right and fix a simple issue he would rather burn a bridge and cut ties with a customer.

Great experience with with highline. They had some issues with parts I supplied to install on my 18 m4. They were very patient with me getting them the right parts and got my car back to me quickly. Thanks guys

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY ARE SCAMMERS!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! CARD OVER CHARGED!!! I took in my 2012 M3 convertible on 6/14/21. Right off the bat the guy I was dealing with (don t know his name he s white and overweight looks like he could use a shower dressed like a 10 year old) was super rude and was unable to give an estimate quote. Dropped off the car to reverse an exhaust mod to get inspection done. Usually in NYC every year I paid 150 bucks to get it taken off and 150 to put it back on and was a 45-1 hour job each time at most but since I moved upstate last summer there are no bmw shops around except for these scammers. Long story short, I received a 600 quote just to tell me my headlights were out which I knew already and told them to begin with. I called them up asap and specifically asked the 500 noted for the exhaust is to both take it off and put it back after the inspection and was told YES by the same guy who still hasn t showered! Well, I showed up the next day, the same dude said the 600 total was just to take the exhaust off and not put it back on??? and he just kept saying how how my lights were out which he diagnosed?? I have the same laptop i tune my own cars, I been known that and had told them that already. After back and forth, he started getting aggressive, too much pride for someone that looks like him. That is no way to treat a customer id like the owners to review the Cctv footage and listen to how he talks to your customers! If he is an employee he needs to be fired I ll never come back just because of him!! Sounds like someone doesn t know how to run a business by keeping such horrible people employed. I asked him if his phone calls are recorded at the office and he said yes, so i was like lets hear what you said to me yesterday about the quote being for both to take off and put the exhaust back on and he said I would not pull up any calls for you and then all of a sudden said calls aren t set up to record yet. Hahaha like is this guy even a HS graduate or what? Lay off the cheetos man! To make matters worse after the back and forth arguing, I said what do you want me to do dude? Ill legit be coming back tomorrow to put the exhaust back on and pay you again it can t be 600 each time and he said he ll do 350 for me. I said ok no problem lets get it over with and handed my card only to later find out i was charged $478!!!?!? I will be challenging this in court and will be taking the incompetent rep to court with it. Should be some good cardio for him!! I would like the owners to listen to our recorded call where he gave me the quote initially and said yes its for both taking it off and putting it back on and I would also want the owners to listen to the cctv footage from today how he said the total would be 350 after adjusting and charged me 478!! I do have an idea of why it all happened and why I was quoted so much and over charged though, because me and my little brother walked in wearing $100k plus in watches and this broke cheeseburger body thought he could overcharge me. Haa!! NOT ONLY THAT HE ALSO COST YOU GUYS ANOTHER COUPLE HUNDRED BECAUSE I WONT BE RETURNING TO GET THE EXHAUST BACK ON AND NEITHER FOR ANY OIL CHANGES AND MAINTENANCE ANYMORE! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SCAMMERS!! SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!

I had bunch of issues with my e36 m3 after an engine swap that I did so I brought it to Highline. The guys there are very knowledgeable and got my car all sorted out within a few days. I was impressed with their work so I had them also do a dyno tune and my car picked up 30whp over the Turner tune that I had! They also did solid mounts in my rear sub frame, a catch can setup and windeband o2. Overall very pleased with the service there. My car feels great and I ll definitely be back.

Highline went way above and beyond. My car was ready sooner than I expected and they resolved every issue I asked for and even found a few preventative maintenance items that other shops had neglected to fix. I will always bring my BMWs here.

These guys are a class act! I brought my E21 in to essentially re-do my entire brake system. I brought in all the parts that I had amassed over the last six months and they installed them all. They provided me a quote in writing before they started the work and actually charged me less because something didnt take as long as they thought it might. They finished the work quickly and even saved all the old parts as I requested. Matt was very attentive and great at communicating the progress. I will definitely be bringing my BMW back for any work that needs to be done!

I had my car tuned, a CV boot replaced, spark plugs done, and a exhaust part installed. Brad was great and sent me email/text updates Everyday and answered questions I had quickly. Dave was honest with what my car needed and did not try to up sell me anything. They had everything done in a short amount of time, prices are fair but the work was great. I ll be a repeat customer for sure!

I went there for a valvetronic issue. Knew it was something small, my engine was just idling weird. They replaced my whole valvetronic system for a whopping $3,800. The labor rate at this place is insane. But, I wont complain about that, everywhere upstate they charge wayyy too much. My complaint is that my transmission was slipping at 2nd gear and they told me i needed a whole new transmission. In reality, my transmission hose leading to my transmission cooler was bursted. Later found out that i was also charged for a valve cover gasket and labor for that too. They didnt even replace it! They used the same old one and even installed it wrong so my engine was leaking oil. I mean obviously these ppl know what their talking about but why screw people over and charge them an insane amount of money? Dirty business gets u nowhere. Be honest with people, its the right thing to do!

Highline FTW!!! I have been going to Highline for about 6 months now for a lot of maintenance and some repairs and I will never bring my BMW anywhere else. They are very professional and will not break the bank unlike dealers. Unlike the dealership they will try to repair what is wrong rather than ordering a brand new part if it is not needed. Customer service is beyond Excellent and Dave and his techs are very knowledgeable. Give them a call and you will not regret it!

Definitely not an honest repair shop lets just say a part was taken off my vehicle once I decided not to have them do any repairs to my vehicle due to the fact they were overcharging for labor make a long story short I still ended up paying the dealership $1,500 so save yourself the embarrassment and time

Wow! What a great business. I brought my 135i for a wheel bearing noise last week. They did a great job diagnosing and repairing! One advantage I am realizing by not bringing my car to the dealer for service, is the dealer is often trying to talk me into a new car. Not the case here. Their interest is obviously keeping my car in top shape no matter how old it is. I appreciate that.

Dave is a legend! He helped with coding that the local dealer wouldnt. I would heartily recommend him and his business to anyone!

really awesome place to take your BMW. my X3 was throwing a drivetrain malfunction and after a couple week odyssey and several different garages, these guys were the ones who ended up isolating the issue and fixing it (wastegate acutator sticking closed..) Theyre also extremely cool and happy to talk with you and get more information. Highly recommend them for any BMW owner.

I highly recommend Highline Motorsports. Dave and his team is amazing and easy to work with. They are honest and by far the best work I ve seen done to my BMW. Quality is everything, they received my parts that I needed and got it done the same day. They also told me a price that was 200$ cheaper then what we agreed on paying which I respected him very much for that.

Brought both of my BMWs to them recently after the first shop I went to had my car for 5 weeks and didnt fix the problem. Great service at Highline, they got to the root of the problem fast, kept in contact with me throughout the entire process and actually fixed it the first time. Both cars are running great and I couldnt be happier. A bit pricey, but thats just BMW for ya. Thanks to everyone at the shop! Ill be doing all of my services and repairs with you from now on.

Im so glad I found this place, they are the most professional and fair priced shop for BMW cars. They know what there doing and you dont have to worry about them being shady. Best place I have ever been to. I will NEVER go anywhere else as long as they are open. I definitely plan on getting alot of work done through here. Amazing experience, after a few days of not having a car I went to this Bmw specific shop and they addressed my concerns in a matter of minutes. Humble people with awesome results. My 328xi wouldn t start and a few seconds bam it started right up. Thank you Dave

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Had them weld chassis reinforcements for my rear subframe in, the work came out fantastic. Theyre honest, knowledgeable, and helpful people who perform quality work with fair prices. Much better than my previous shop, will be a returning customer. Highline is the only place you should bring your BMW.

Did a great job on my 335d, stage 2 tune and ABCs. Only BMW shop worth bringing your car to in the area, bar none.

I have had work on my 2011 BMW 328i on 2 occasions and both times they were super friendly and kept me in the loop on what was going on. Napa took a while bringing my oil filter, but that is on Napa.

Great knowledgeable mechanics and detailers. They do performance upgrades and tuning, as well as vinyl wrapping.

They have some of the most knowledgeable BMW mechanics in the area, i will be returning

Excellent Quality and Trustworthy Repair.

Dave and his team have both helped me out when Ive been in a bind with mechanical needs with my BMW M5 but also where I go for everything else performance related. I mean, come on, theyve got a dyno, they know tuning and BMWs, where else would I go, its all there. Worth checking out 100%.

I am giving 1 star because you have to give at least 1. Please do not buy vehicles from these people unless you are a mechanic or know what to look for in and on a vehicle. They are very deceptive. I bought a vehicle from them they told me it had original paint and that I was the second owner. 5 weeks later and rust is coming through the Bondo.They put fender flares on to cover the rust, I paid premium price and received a junk truck... wish i knew about trucks becuse this sale would of NEVER HAPPENED..When i brought it back for a repair, the guys were smoking pot in the garage..SMH... The owner avoided me when I came back for a repair..PLEASE JUST DO YOUR HOMEWORK WHEN BUYING FROM THEM...
