Windows replaced with tons of issues. Do not recommend.

Contracted with R.M. Pena to replace sliding door to my deck. Quote stated to replace and finish inside with 2 1/4 ranch trim as was original. After installing door the gap at the top and sheetrock couldn t be covered with 2 1/4 trim. Instead of adding sheetrock to meet the quote they put on 3 casing instead. Wife didn t like it. When I called, Chris Pena came out to look and was arrogant and condescending telling me I had an oversized door. He finally relented and agreed to fix it. Installer showed to fix. Put in sheetrock, tape and spackle and informed me he could only apply 1 coat of spackle by contract. Said he d be back the next day to finish and never returned and never head from anyone, I finish the spackling so it was properly feathered out because o knew they would to a garbage job if pushed. Took them another 2 weeks to get the proper trim installed. I will never do business with R.M. Pena because I never want to see or hear from Chris Pena again. He was condescending and arrogant. What a business man!!!!

Lazy

R.M. Pena has been my go to business for years. Last year it was replacing gutters and old siding on our 72 year old house. ( It looks so much younger now.) This year its complete replacement of original door frame and exterior metal door. They have a great work ethic. Everyone Ive dealt with at Pena is friendly, professional and installation is done right the first time.

Today I called RM Pena to get information regarding upkeep on our new front door and spoke to Sarah Lennon. She was very professional, kind and helpful and gave me all the answers I needed. Her supervisor may say she was just doing her job but I believe she went above and beyond. She is a valuable asset to your team and I think she should get some recognition. Thank you Sarah! I appreciate your help and thank you for your assistance.

So many problems from the beginning with this company. Saleman Jared makes alot of promises that were not delivered. Horrible communication.

I have been going to them for many years now. They have replaced all of my windows, installed soffits on an outbuilding, and most recently resided my house with vinyl siding and stone. Very professional and they do excellent work. Highly recommend!

They are the best glass company. They put all my windows I and beautiful sliding glass door. They are the absolute best company out there I have ever had business with. I had a problem with a window after quite a long time and they came out and took it in to be fixed. They are the best!!!!!

Chris Pena was very nice and extremely thorough in giving an estimate in the windows we want replaced. Chris explained how the efficiency of the new windows would he compare to the old (the R-value of the insulation and the Low E value of the glass. We incquire about the built-in) blinds and he told us that reduces the efficiency and are much more expensive. My Mother and Father in law had several windows replaced by R.M Pena and were very pleased with the estimate and installation process. We look forward to working with R.M Pena in the very near future.

I got a sliding glass door installed, and when there was an issue with it a few months later, I called them and in less than a 3 days it was fixed and as good as new! These people are honest, fair priced, stand by their work and would absolutely recommend.

Its been over 3 months since I have contacted this company for an estimate for our apt Windows and siding and the salesman Jared still has not provided any information. I guess they dont need the business.

Great people do business with

Just last week, Tim and Matt replaced 21 windows and a deck slider door flanked by fixed windows in our 25-year old home. This was our 3rd install by Pena, beginning few years ago--first a very large arched window 2 stories up at the front of our home and requiring a cherry picker truck followed by a replacement for a rotting fixed-pane window. That we returned to them for this very large current job says a lot about our regard for this company and their high quality product, much better than any Anderson or Pella windows weve had in the past. Service is excellent and the installers, professional and very diligent. Many thanks!

From start to finish Jared and his crew were extremely professional and helpful. We recently had a sliding door installed by them and my wife and I could not be more happy with how everything went. I highly recommend R M Pena. One of the crew members even adjusted our front storm door while he was here just to help us out. That kind of stuff speaks volumes about this company.

Basement window installation was contracted with Chris. The RM Pena team showed on-time and performed good work with one notable miscommunication that was handled to my satisfaction. We are all human, mistakes happen, and a company that can successfully navigate resolutions is a company I want to hire again. I look forward to having Chris, Lisa, and the RM Pena team replace more windows in the home I love.

Straight to the point.

We just had Pena replace ten custom windows in our house, one of which was (to me) a major job. Removing a bow window (actually three 6 tall x 2 wide), and replacing that with a beautiful picture window with two sliding windows, one on each side. And the new kitchen window made everything look so much bigger! Everyone we dealt with was wonderful, Sean was our salesman, very friendly & professional. Gave us some nice suggestions that we wouldnt have thought of. And Tim & Matt, our installers, were great! Again, super friendly, and seemed to never stop working. They were here last night until it was just too dark to see, and were right back here today to finish up. We are incredibly pleased with the work they did, and at a reasonable price. RM Pena replaced our windows and installed new vinyl siding on our home over the past several years. They did an excellent job with great products. We recently asked if they would help repair the trim around the garage door resulting from an unintended brush with our car. They were very responsive, made the repair on a timely basis, and did an excellent job. We dealt with Chris and it was heartening that he remembered us and was very willing to help. High recommend RM Pena.

This review is 20 yrs. overdue -- though at the time Pena first replaced all the windows in my home and completely sided my home I do not believe that the online review opportunity was available. First of all, the work Pena performed 20 yrs. ago has held up beautifully. The yellow siding, bow windows, and all other windows look as new and beautiful as when first installed. Secondly, I am writing this review because for the first time in two decades I had some repair work. An important piece of siding blew off my home due to high winds, and over the yrs. a few issues arose with a few of my windows, which I had planned to have Pena repair. This morning -- Thursday April 1 -- I called Pena about the siding issue, as it had been raining and I was concerned the top of my bow window could perhaps take on water with the siding gone. I called at 8AM!! Jared and Angie sent Todd, who arrived before 11AM Todd!!! In a half hour he repaired my windows, and within the hour he had reattached the siding. It turns out my bow window was never in danger of taking on water, but now that it is repaired there is no chance of any other problems developing. In 20 yrs, then, repairs cost me exactly $183. I couldnt be more delighted with a business. I only wish it did other sorts of work, too, as Id hire them in a heartbeat. Thanks to Pena for making my home look great and for keeping it looking new! Amazing service and overall great quality!! We had all of the windows in our home replaced as well as a new custom window install. Working with Jared was easy and he was very professional and helpful when picking out the windows that worked best for us!! We are so happy with the outcome and will happily be recommending Pena!!

We just had Pena install a large, 4-pane casement window, three canopy windows and replace the front door with two sidelights. The sales representative was polite, enthusiastic and went out his way to ensure the product ordered was correct. We had the factory custom paint the exterior of the windows and door from their selection of colors. The colors matched our existing colors very well. The installation crew was also very enthusiastic, nice and completed the job on the same day. I noted the installation crew kept their company trucks very orderly which indicates to me the care they take with their work. During installation, the crew noted that two of the casement windows had scratches on the window between the double panes. They passed that to the sales rep who will order replacement windows. Very pleased compared to the bad experience at Crawford Window & Door. As the install is only 4 days in the past, time will tell about the longevity of the product but we are very happy now.

Last year I purchased windows for my entire house. The service was good at that time but a little over a year later and one of my windows still doesnt close properly. I had called about it previously and the service person said it was the sun, which makes it swell. Unfortunately, I accepted that answer. One of the windows still wont close and cold air is pouring into my house and there will be a service charge to fix it. I dont consider this very good service. To bad, I was planning on getting an estimate for a deck. Now Ill go elsewhere.
