Worst Experience Ever - Avoid Denners Garage at All Costs! I recently had the misfortune of dealing with Denners Garage, and I can honestly say it was the worst customer service experience of my life. I wouldnt wish this nightmare on my worst enemy. From the moment I walked in, I could tell something was off. The place looked like it hadnt been cleaned since the 90s, and the employees seemed more interested in chatting with each other than helping customers. But it only got worse from there. First, they quoted me an exorbitant price for a simple brake repair on my Jeep. When I questioned the cost, they became incredibly defensive and tried to upsell me on a bunch of unnecessary services. It was clear they were just trying to milk me for every penny they could get. But the real kicker was when they finally started working on my car. It took them twice as long as they originally promised, and they didnt even bother to keep me updated on the progress. When I asked for an update, they gave me the runaround and acted like I was inconveniencing them. When they finally finished, my Jeep was in worse shape than when I brought it in. It was making strange noises, and the brakes were still squeaking. It was clear they either didnt know what they were doing or didnt care enough to do the job right. In the end, I had to have my Jeep towed to another shop to fix the mess Denners Garage had made. The new mechanics were shocked at the shoddy workmanship and told me it would have been dangerous to continue driving my car in that condition. To make matters worse, when I tried to discuss a refund with Denners Garage, they were completely uncooperative and refused to take any responsibility for their mistakes. Its clear they have no integrity and are only interested in ripping off unsuspecting customers. In summary, if you value your time, money, and sanity, do yourself a favor and avoid Denners Garage like the plague. Their terrible customer service, shady business practices, and lack of competence make them a complete and utter disgrace to the automotive industry. Save yourself the headache and go to a reputable shop that actually cares about its customers and their safety. Denners Garage is an absolute disgrace, and I wouldnt wish their incompetence on anyone.

They replaced a section of my frame and didn t put back in the leaf spring bushings after they took it apart. I m glad I caught this before it came apart from all of the slop

Can confidently say these guys won t pull the wool over your eyes, Kim works behind the counter she s gonna make sure you get any discount or best offer you can, I met Steve who works in the shop and he ll explain it to you honestly of what you need to do this time and what can maybe wait a little bit, and that honesty is what will keep me coming back, 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for anything done to their car

I thought I had a bad wheel bearing but it turned out I didnt. They could have easily charged me for the replacement but choose to only do the (much less expensive) necessary work. Work was completed while I waited and I drove away happy. Couldnt recommend enough. Get work done here, highly trustworthy.

Cant ask for a better local garage. Extremely friendly staff. Its definitely worth making an appointment to come here. Tried other local places that did walk-ins and never again. Denners garage will be the only place I take my vehicle.

Ive come here a number of times now for work as simple as an inspection to full brake an rotor work on different vehicles. Ive always been treated well and priced modestly. This garage has become my first choice when needing vehicle repair.

Dennars took care of me when my truck broke down. I was stranded on the side of the road and had it towed to their shop. They diagnosed the issue, ordered the part, installed it, and had me out quick. Incredible shop that I highly recommend!

extremely friendly, informative, and well priced. i was in and out quickly and they took the time to explain and show me what was wrong with my belt. kim was also outstanding from the time i set my appointment to actually coming in to the shop. (they have really cute dogs too) i wont be taking my car anywhere but denners!!!

Payed $180 for a 2 hour job, that took 5 days to fix Services were done to my car that I asked and more that they suggested, ultimately that didnt fix the original problem Left with my car the same way I took it in, but $180 lesser

Never have I walked into a shop and immediately felt like family like i have here. I spoke to Michael Denner and explained how my $350 car payments for my 08 Buick Lucerne eith 195k miles were killing me.. He empathized with my situation and offered me a full diagnosis. Within an hour I recieved warning that my shocks, struts, control arms, sway bar links, tie rod ends, pads, rotors, calipers, master cylinder, residential valve, stearing gear, stereo, O2 sensors, and mufflers needed to be replaced. I left my car there 4 hours and Micael had fixed it app up for me. I feel like im driving a brand new car, besides the fact that my transmission is slipping. Ill be back soon to get more of that godlike service from the best family owned business i could hope for. God bless everyone there

Such a trusthworthy shop with honest business. I have been bringing my cars here for 3 years and not once have I had any issues getting an appointment in a timely matter. The customer service is excellent!! If you want a family oriented and experienced staff, Denners Garage is the one!

Took the car here right as the coronavirus pandemic kicked off and they were already addressing concerns about health and safety. I felt very comfortable dropping the car off and picking it up. Furthermore, the quality and value of the work was outstanding. Will definitely be using this location in the future!

I called to see if I can install/replace an aftermarket fog light that is installed on my truck. The female representative gave me the next day early morning. Which it was perfect for me. She also reduce the price of labor because it was done in within a good time frame. I will come again if I need anything else done for my truck.

I needed to get as a small job done quick--that I couldnt do in my own garage. So I gave Denners garage a shot and within 15 minutes they had the problem solved for $5. Thanks, Ill be back!

Nice place

Took my car to the dealership to fix brakes. They charged me an arm and a leg and they still were in rough shape. Took them here, got charged less than half as much and now they feel good as new.

Great place, it was a quick turn around and they didnt overcharge or anything like many other places. Im grateful to them.

Had my vehicle dropped off here on a Monday to give them time to have everything finished and looked at while I was unable to pick it up. They told me that it was plenty of time and it would be done the next Tuesday. The next Monday rolls around and called to check up on how it was going and they told me it was scheduled to be started that afternoon. Come in the next day to see that my truck had been left outside with 4,000 wheels and tires and a lift kit still in all the boxes had been left out side in the rain and not locked away. It hadn t been moved since it was dropped off. Only for them to tell me that I had an appointment for the prior day after I was told it would be finished and all fixed by then. Wasn t too happy with their service so I took my truck to Mr. Tire in town and that same day it was already in the shop. The next day I was called and told what needed to be done and that everything would be finished and ready for pick up the next day. Will not be returning to Denners for any work that I need. Would much rather take it somewhere where it will actually be worked on with out excuse and attitude.

Steve Denner (owner and master mechanic) is a fantastic human being. Always incredibly fair and will make sure you dont leave his shop without being taken care of. Great shop and great team of people he has working there with him, they wont let you down.

Excellent service. Great shop that will bend over backwards to make sure you get taken care of in a timely and affordable manner. Honestly can t say how truly remarkable this shop is! Highly recommended!!!

These guys will honestly make you feel at home and well taken care of. They explain everything they are doing to repair your car and make sure you understand what is going on. They dont try to upsell unneeded repairs or services constantly, but will occasionally recommend some services if needed. These guys know what they are doing and wont drain your wallet while doing it. The only downside is that they arent that familiar with European vehicles. I.E BMW Mercedes or Audi , but dont let that dissuade you from asking to have them look at it, they will give do there damnedest to fix whatever is wrong with it or reference you to someone else who specializes in those types of vehicles.

The only place I ll take my car! A family owned and operated business that you can trust. Upfront and affordable pricing. Steve takes the time to discuss what he finds and makes sure you understand what s going on with your vehicle, consulting you before doing anything. He really goes the extra mile.

HONEST, KNOWLEDGEABLE & RELIABLE. He took the time to listen to the sounds and mimics I used, as a WOMAN with some mechanical knowledge ?, to explain what I thought the issue was with one of my cars. I left the car to give him time to check in detail what was wrong, he called back during the afternoon hrs, explaining what was bad, the causes and the options, so I could decide which way to go. I was so pleased with his work, his accuracy and specially, the honesty and down to Earth charges, that I decided to fix other things as well and did the CAR INSPECTION, and then took my other car to be checked before Winter. LADIES & GENTS, this is your mechanic, respectful and honest, he will make you feel like old friends. Also, if you need a translator, his wife is a SPANISH teacher and can help you as well. AFTER 3 MONTHS (triple the warranty time others give you), MY CARS ARE DOING GREAT, THANKS SO MUCH MASTER OF MECHANICS!!

I got a set of snow tires for my Challenger, however, Walmart wouldnt put them on because they were a little bit bigger than the factory 245. I knew they would fit because I checked.I ended up calling Denners who installed them and gave me a ride to pick up my other car. This was a few months ago, but I appreciate what they did. Steve was great.

Honestly one of the more genuine individuals Ive met while in Watertown, not only was he knowledgeable and honest, he helped solve a problem that two other mechanics couldnt pinpoint, more than likely going here for all my future car endeavors!

I had a lift kit installed by Steve and his partner just recently but ran in to an issue because the rims I had werent compatible. Steve is very polite and genuine, and answered every question of mine honestly and with great detail. He does not try and sell you on extra, and sticks to his word on estimates of labor and costs. He truly cared about my personal situation and did everything in his power to help get my family vehicle back to me as quickly and efficiently as he could. He is very knowledgeable, and if you somehow manage to come up with a question he cant answer, he will be honest and helpful with you. Ive been to every shop in the area and he is by far the best one for miles. He will be the only mechanic that touches my truck from now on!

They did such a great job in replacing my rear subframe and bushings and even replaced a brake caliper bracket that was broken. They did such a great job in fixing my car and keeping me informed. And then when my car was done, I came to pick my car up and they explained to me everything they had to do.

I had a great experience here. From the beginning the staff felt trust worthy and professional. They diagnosed the problem with my car quickly and gave me multiple options to chose from for getting it fixed. The end price was very reasonable and I would have paid more just for the speed and quality of service. I highly reccomend this garage.
