I brought my jeep wrangler in for emergency last minute repairs and I d like to shoutout Matt for his speediness and patience. They fixed my check engine light in less than 2 days work, and Matt was extremely accommodating while I bothered them for updates. Will ABSOLUTELY be returning and will ABSOLUTELY be referring others.

I went in for a simple new york inspection. One of the lights on the corner of the headlight was bad. They said they had the bulb in stock. 2 dollar bulb and 80 dollars for labor. Its a 2 minute job. Will not be returning to them for anything else. Beware to others. If you go in for an inspection make sure all the lights work or they will take you to the cleaners. Absolutely ridiculous.

I can t say enough good about Jennifer and the service plus team. They were more than helpful in getting my cars A/C issues diagnosed and fixed. The job was done when they said it would be . Couldn t ask for a more professional team.

My transmission went out. I towed my 2015 Silverado here to get it repaired and it was the best auto service experience I ve had. Chris was the main Point of contact for my job and worked with my work scheduler to relay information to me or my wife. He was very informative and has a wealth of knowledge on using warranties. He was able to call my warranty company and get down to the fine print. His team was quick, efficient, and reliable. I will definitely be using them again and I highly recommend to anyone who is experiencing issues with their vehicles.

I have driven by this shop for over 20 years without paying it much attention- that was a huge mistake! When I called and told them I had a transmission leak and the car was my primary vehicle Matt got me in right away so I wouldnt be without my vehicle for long. A complete inspection of my car was done to make sure there were no other problems with the car. To my surprise I received a text message with highly detailed information of all of the issues found broken down into three categories; 1. Requires immediate attention, 2. Requires attention soon, 3. Checked and OK. The text also contained photos of the critical issues found. I have never received this type detailed breakdown with photos from any other shop I have used and I was absolutely amazed at the level of detail included. The most impressive part of this interaction is when I called, I was able to pick the repairs I wanted them to do (and could afford) immediately, there was NO pressure to have any of the other items repaired until I was ready to have them done. The shop was able to get the OEM parts and do the repairs in ONE DAY, getting me right back on the road. Even the oil change they did was substantially less expensive than the place I used to use for service. Call - ask for Matt - you will be glad you did. Thank You Service Plus! One happy customer...

The front staff is amazing! Chris goes above and beyond for all of his customers, and makes sure he keeps you updated on all repairs and services! Matt also works at the front desk and he is very friendly and does excellent work as well! These two truly care about their customers. The techs out back are AMAZING! Jason, Leland, Tom, Lee and Collin are very precise with their work and are very willing to bring you out back to the shop to show you what s going on with your vehicle and explain it so you re able to understand it without having that technical experience! Overall this business is awesome and they will continue to have my business for any small or big job! Very family oriented and fair pricing as well! I cant recommend this shop enough. I went in yesterday for an oil change based on when the last place I went said it should get done. The mechanic said the oil looked brand new and to bring it back after a couple more thousand miles, saving me $100. When I brought my husbands car in today for an oil change there was some service they recommended getting done, but theyre always very upfront about the cost and what services they would prioritize based on safety, etc. Chris is especially good about explaining everything in detail. I also love that they have a kids corner with toys and books for the times when I have to bring my son with me. Theyre honest and family friendly and it really doesnt get better than that.

They took a while to get my car looked at by a tech. Was told they couldn t set the timing on my car. So they declined working on it. But they were honest so I give them props

If I could give this business no stars, I would. I took my vehicle in and was told my car had a plethora of problems that I was certain it didn t. Fast forward a little over a year later, I forgot to tell my husband to avoid the place and he goes in for an oil change and gets told the same thing -that his vehicle has a plethora of issues that it does not. How does he know? Because my husband is a mechanic. (Some might ask why if my husband is a mechanic why he couldn t change his own oil and the reason is that his mobility is limited.) In any case, here s a few examples of what he was told: 1: He has a Class 3 almost a Class 4 leak which if you know ANYTHING about vehicle maintenance this should be an easy red flag. 2. He was also told his spark plugs should be changed out since his vehicle is at 100,000 miles his vehicle has less than 50,000 miles. 3. He was told that his alignment was off, at the 1 o clock position, instead of at the 12 and it most assuredly isn t -easy to verify on my husband s part. 4. They said that while on a test drive his vehicle shook, again, easy to verify and it does not. Therefore, I feel compelled to write this review to encourage people to avoid this place until they stop fabricating maintenance issues that in the long run line their pockets but at the cost of their customers being overcharged, needlessly, for non-existent issues. (I will also be submitting an ICE complaint through Fort Drum to hopefully get them blacklisted until they cease their unethical practices.)

Went for state inspection, then after a list of problems that were going to cost around $4200, I decided I had to pull my car and possibly wait on repairs. I finally found a shop that was going to charge $1940 for all the same repairs. I would suggest calling around like maybe black river area beforehand.

I would HIGHLY recommend Service Plus Automotive! They got my car in quick, were very friendly, and helpful.They performed a diagnostic on my car and then sent me the full report with pictures. They talked me through the diagnostic report and explained what they recommended, but they were not trying to force all of the maintenance on me. In the future I will for sure be using Service Plus Automotive!

The starter on my truck was bad and won t start. It was towed to Service Plus Automotive and they replaced the starter the following day. The employee were detailed, professional and provided great technical advises to me about my truck. Overall, great service providers.

Service plus used to be great. They cared about their customers. I dont know what happened. My husband took his truck in for the NY inspection. They called to let him know one of the lg nuts wouldnt go back on so it would be $25 for the new lugnut but $325 for labor. Ummm I think not. The truck wasnt passed. $7 for a lug nut, a little brushing of the stud and its good as new.

My Jeep had a bad oil leak spring right as the total power module burned out during a MOPAR strike and Corporate economic melt-down. Yikes, right? Well, not a problem the power module, the oil housing leak, and every last fluid was serviced and flushed within about a week and a half. Including both the front and rear differentials, something often times overlooked in 4x4 vehicles. As for price? You get what you pay for. I originally went to the dealership in town and their customer service sucked so I left and went to Service Plus Automotive. Not a mistake Ill make twice. Ill be returning for my future vehicle service needs.

This is easily the best shop I have had the pleasure of taking my car to. All employees are professional, and I have never had an unpleasant experience. Even after moving to the Syracuse area, I still try to come through when I need something fixed.

Took my 2018 Kia Soul here today and was pleasantly surprised when they fixed my vehicle totally FREE OF CHARGE!! It was a quick & easy fix of two small issues, but still...most places would usually charge something, right?! Also, they were very kind and polite and professional. I highly recommend!

They tried to upcharge me big time. Told me my drive belt was cracked and worn needed replacing. My friend changed it for me and it was almost brand new. Not a single Crack and the numbers were all still highly legible. Will not ever recommend them or go there again.

Great place!!

One of the worst places to go for an inspection. Went in there wanting an inspection and came out with a bill of over $2000 of things that needed to be fixed. I went to someone else and they got everything fixed and did some extra things done and the bill was $500. He also mentioned this isn t the first time that someone went to him after going here. I don t know how this place is still open.

Everyone from the front desk to the mechanics are very polite and kind. They were very flexible with short notice scheduling and explained everything once they were done.

Staff was so friendly, helpful, and understanding. Their service was quick and very affordable. The waiting room was spacious, and the toys for children helped the time pass a lot smoother with little ones. Definitely will be using them for all our auto needs and would recommend.

Came in for an NY inspection. Was told rear brakes needed to be replaced. Declined the service as I was going to do myself. Checked rear brakes and pads have 80 percent life left with good rotors. Checked inspection paperwork and noticed the tire removed during inspection was front left. How did you come to the conclusion the rear brakes needed to be done when you didn t even remove the wheel? And upon removing the rear wheels myself the brakes were better then the fronts! Be cautious, shady auto work at a business just off base. Will not be going back for my next inspection.

Watch these guys, they will sell you stuff you dont need. My grandson took his van there because it wouldnt start. They wanted to replace the radiator that is less than two months old. Tried to scare him iby saying the engine would burn up. Their diagnostic pointed out things that werent a problem. Price was higher than original quote. I think it is shameful the way they took advantage of a young soldier, shame on you.

State inspection::::All you military folks please refrain from using this place. Worst place ...they will try and sell you the services which you dont need. And dig the money out of your pocket . If you wana get ripped then please go ahead. Was trying to charge 130 bucks for removing the tint from the front windows which you can literally do it yourself in 5 mins if you have a heat gun...there was a girl ahead of me ,I heard them charging 399 for tint removal..thats just ridiculous..

We were able to drop off my boyfriend s car the same night we spoke to Chris on the phone. First thing in the morning we receive a call with information, and after they were able to take a look at the car, they sent a detailed report of what they found to be wrong (along with minor issues that didn t require immediate attention). The car was done the very next day. Super efficient and great to work with. Highly recommend!

I can t thank Service Plus and Chris enough for being so great! I called after having a check engine light pop a transmission code on my 2015 Yukon Denali (just bought pre-owned in January). They were the only place that could get me in within a week so that was already a great start. A couple days before bringing it to the appointment, the check engine light went off. I brought it in anyways because I wanted to be sure everything was okay. They looked at it, found some sort of leak and said they would contact our warranty company for coverage. Warranty company and Chris recommended a full transmission service along with the leak of repair so I gave the go ahead. Once they started on that, I received a call that the tech found chunks of metal in the fluid. Not good. Chris kept me in the loop the whole time and spoke with nothing but compassion. With my husband being gone, I needed honesty without feeling like I was being lied to and that s exactly what I got. He was straight forward in saying that a road trip would not be a good idea. He said he d call the warranty company and figure out where to go from there. The vehicle needed a full transmission and differential replacement. Chris spent hours on the phone with the warranty company getting them to cover more and more of the replacement cost. I can t even tell you how much that meant to us. I even walked in to grab some things from the vehicle and he was on hold with the warranty company right then too. He kept us in the loop on the whereabouts of the new parts and always had an answer for our questions. Out the door, I couldn t even believe that we only owed what we did, thanks to Chris. The vehicle drives like new and Chris even called the next day to make sure everything was running well and offered his assistance if we needed any further information for dealing with the dealership that sold us the vehicle. Bottom line, this place is honest, thorough, and just down right pleasant to work with. I can t recommend them enough and we feel reassured that we have a place to take any of our vehicles if we need them serviced. Thank you Service Plus for the exceptional work!

Service Plus give me a great experience, this is the only repair shop Ive have ever been to that did a full diagnosis on my vehicle, and provided detail results of any issues along with pictures and recommendations for fixing it. I have a 2002 Cadillac escalade ext, it had an oil leakage in my Engine oil cooler assembly that was fixed, and my vehicle was ready for pickup the next day. Thanks for service!

I brought a particularly challenging project to this shop with a WRX boost leak and turbo replacement, and Kayla and Chris were unbelievably helpful. They were constantly communicative with me for each step of the project, and went out of their way to make sure it was done right. Tom handled the job and was clearly knowledgeable and passionate about his work. Can t thank them all enough.

The first time I went to Service Plus, I was satisfied with the oil change on my Jeep. Then my headlight went out a couple months later, so I went and bought a bulb to replace it. However, a new bulb didnt work so I brought it into Service Plus. Service Plus ran diagnostics and concluded that the ground to my headlight had gone bad. They told me that they needed to ground a negative wire. They said I had two options: undo all the wiring to find the root(more expensive and more time), or to snipthe ground and ground it directly to the chasis. I knew that normally, on most vehicles, grounding directly to the chasis has no issues. However, after talking to my mechanic in my hometown, I was advised that it could be possible that if the wiring harness is set up a specific way, grounding straight to the chasis could fry other electrical components to the vehicle. Anyways, it took Service Plus roughly 2 hours to diagnose the problem and 30 minutes to ground the negative wire. I received my car and when I saw the headlight work, I paid nearly $200, and I rushed back to work. On my first and last right turn (side where work was done on headlight), I noticed that my turn signal would blink at twice the speed after 3 normal blinks. I called them back, and they advised me to bring it back in. I scheduled another appointment. At the next appointment, they took the vehicle for fifteen minutes. The technician came back and notified me that they did not touch the signal lights at all. They denied any connection between the two issues and asked if I wanted to run a diagnostic on the issue. I declined. Almost at the gate back onto post, I realized that my emergency brake light did not go away. Immediately, I checked to see if I drove off with my emergency brakes engaged. They were not. I pulled over to the side of the road and messed with my emergency brake to make the light go away. I called back to Service Plus and they told me to bring it back for further inspection. I took it back, and they again denied ever working on any brake system while it was in their possession. My overall experience with them has been very poor. I was unable to drive my vehicle after a year of use because it did not pass New York States inspections. Service Plus only added more issues to my vehicle while under their care and I am quite upset that 1 foot of wiring and a screw to ground a negative would cost me close to $200. Anyone could diagnose connectivity issues using a multimeter. I could have got that job done for a fraction of the price back in my hometown. It was a little harder for me because my leadership would despise me for ever stepping out of the COF during duty hours.

Shop was quick to get my vehicle in, figure out the issue and fix it. Quality and professional service, I will be going here again.

Great Service! Was my first time bringing my car in to Service Plus Automotive. They performed a diagnostic on my car and I was sent the full report with pictures that gave me a whole picture of areas that my car needs maintenance. They also addressed my concerns for why I brought my car in. They talked me through the diagnostic report and explained why they recommended maintenance/replacement of parts, but they were also very helpful with gauging my intentions with my vehicle and were not trying to force all of the maintenance on me. They educated me on the condition of my vehicle and then when I told them I only wanted to address my initial concerns at that time, they were extremely helpful and fixed it right away for me. By far the best interaction I have had with any automotive repair shop and I left understanding more about my vehicle and its condition. 10/10 recommend to others!

I think a customer shouldnt have to get an diagnostic if they tell the shop whats wrong with their vehicle. I feel like they be trying to get extra money but the work the do is awesome!

Convenient location to Fort Drum. Brandon and Jenifer are awesome to work with. Took my 2013 escape in for routine oil change and inspection...they found a few issues with it but ensured me that it was good to go for now while shipping it to Alaska. On short notice (3 days) I decided to ask them if they could go ahead and squeeze me in, and they did. They were very responsive with updates on the issues and costs, and they delivered as promised to meet my timeline to ship. Thanks guys - youre efforts and flexibility were much appreciated.

My daughter brought her 2012 Honda CRV to Service Plus for a NYS inspection and braking issues. The service staff was professional and took note of her concerns. She got her vehicle back in a timely manner and it now drives like new again. Thank you all at Service Plus for a job well done !!!

Too expensive for the work they provide. Bottom line, up front, they charge too much and had too many errors for being so expensive. Their professionalism leaves much to be desired. They make you pay full OEM price for parts from the actual dealer instead of finding certified parts for less. After paying $3k on 2 catalytic converters and 2 O2 sensors, my car started to stall when I drove it from their lot, but they still charged me $200+ for them to conduct a follow on diagnostic to see why my car was still not working after they fixed it. They allowed me to pick up my car from their lot with parts inside the engine not put together properly then blamed the mistake on me instead of taking responsibility and apologizing. I will never go back to this place or recommend them to anyone. Read my full review on Yelp if you want all the details as to what happened.

Only gripe from me was the price for parts is on the higher side and the paperwork didn t tell me anything about the parts used like what brand and the specific name of the part. I think it would be nice to add those. But overall great place, very professional and they have a really good thing going on with the inspection page they send you about your specific vehicle. It s really cool.

Went in for a NYS inspection and was told I needed 3400 dollars worth of work on my car. I left and went straight to where I bought my car from and they looked it over and nothing was wrong with my car. So becarful when going here and get a second opinion before paying for work cause it may save you money.

Use to do oil change other places and my first time there for oil change and inspection, after 45 days engine light show up on my dashboard, same things happen to my sister after 30 days she brought her car there to fix....

This place is one of the best Services stations i have been to. Being so close to a military base you seem to find a lot of shady places that try to rip you off. This place is the opposite. Came in for general maintenance, and was giving multiple options on how to comokete my maintenance. Very fair price with the desired out come. Will return.

Me and my husband usually take our cars here for inspections, with no problems. However, my heat decided to go out in my car. I called and they were able to get me in the next day at 8:00am. I was told they needed to run a diagnostic test to find out what was causing the issue. After a few hours I called and was told they needed more time and I had to pay more money for a total of $239, I said no problem. Two more hours passed and I called back and they said they needed more time but they think they know what the issue is and my total would be over $300 for the diagnostic test. I told them ABSOLUTELY NOT! These people had my car from 8am-3pm. I told them I would take my car to the Chrysler dealership and let them deal with it and I was not paying them another dime. I took it to Chrysler and they told me within 15 minutes what was wrong with my car. My repairs including parts and labor was only $300 and they gave me a military discount. This goes to show you how places around Fort Drum try to take advantage of military families and they should be ashamed of themselves. Don t waste your time!

This place charged me 60 for a diagnostic to see why my tire pressure sensor wasn t going off then told me it was my left tire that needed the sensor replaced and all others were good so I paid another 60 to get it fixed then they called me and said after fixing the left now the right one needs done and that s another 170 then proceed to tell me that if I want them to do another diagnostic for 60 more dollars to make sure that s the issue I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy very unprofessional oh and not to mention the mechanic came out and was like I never seen this befor and didn t have any real answers to my concerns worst place I have been to in a long time take your money somewhere else and they are so close to the base that they know soldiers have no other choice but to pay prey on them should be ashamed

The people here are amazing. I hit a famous NYC pothole and bent my wheel to the point it would no longer hold air. They were able to repair it and get me back on the road in less than an hour with zero notice from me. It made my day completely turn around and I am very appreciative!

This place actually went through detail by detail on an extensive multipoint inspection and reported actual issues. To add the cherry on top they send an email/text of everything they find. Very friendly, easy going, fair pricing, outstanding customer service. Highly recommend this place.

I needed an inspection on my vehicle. They kindly scheduled me an appointment and sent a reminder. They were very professional and had their services set up appropriately during COVID19. We were the only customers at that time, they sanitized my keys when they received them and returned them and they had masks, a shield and so forth for safety. I will gladly reccomend and return when needed in the future.

Will not be going here again. Failed inspection and was quoted $1,123.87 to pass inspection. Took the sub estimate sheet to another repair shop and $462.19 later I took it back to Service Auto and it passed. They also put on the estimate that I stated the vehicle is out of alignment and or there s a problem with suspension. I never said any of that. Plus, when I took it to the other mechanic they stated there was no way they took my tires off to check. #1 I forgot to give the the tire lock key in my took box and realized when the other mechanic called and asked for it.

I had heard good things about them. They were close by so I could get to them quickly. They worked with my warranty company. They finished the work within a day. And the cost came in $100 under the original quote. Nothing but a great experience.

I came and had a full diagnostic of my vehicle done. I asked you guys to do the work necessary to remove all code errors. The next day my check engine light was on...AGAIN and my brake light never went away. I was told that I had a mileage warranty so I called to let you guys know my car was still experiencing issues. I brought it in and you guys said some codes came up but in order to figure out the issue you would have to do a diagnostic in which I replied how much would it cost when I heard the price tag I said no and came to pick up my vehicle. While picking up my vehicle I was charged $100 for a diagnostic of the vehicle. Just to put everything into perspective. I was charged nearly $2000 for the work done the first time just to receive a vehicle with problems. Let me add to the fact that the vehicle was returned to me a week later than the date I was originally instructed. Instead of using this business your money would be better served being put through a shredder

Absolutely terrible service. When I go into a mechanic shop I expect to be haggled but what these guys did was absolute robbery! My battery didn t work going in and coming out my whole transmission is broken??? They refused to tell me how they will fix my car, the wait times are long and my car is in worse condition than before. I went to another shop down the road and they looked at my car and asked me if I had let some high school kid mess around with it! Disgusting and I WARN all of you

Everyone I interacted with at this shop was in my eyes amazing. They were very friendly, informative, heard what I had to say, answered questions very knowledgeably and most importantly took care of my vehicle and fixed it. I had to use a service agreement for my vehicle issue and they were with me every step of the way with great communication as far as telling me what was going on and where they were in the process. I will definitely be using them again in the future for my vehicle maintenance needs as long as Im in the area. Im terrible with remembering names but I give them all credit as a team, Definitely recommend!
