SCOOP just finished installing our fourth Mitsubishi mini-split unit; they did the first three a few years ago. This time involved coordinating with our contractor who was building an addition to our home. Jim Henghan and his team (Matt, others) did a very nice job, were responsive and easy to work with. And they show up when promised!

We were looking to cool our 1500 sq. ft. Log Home in Lake Luzerne NY with a ductless system and contacted Gerald Davis at Superior Co_Op HVAC as one of (3) providers listed in our area as preferred by Mitsubishi Electric. Gerald was the first to call us back and set up time to come to the house the next day. It was very clear throughout the discussion of our requirements and the walkthrough that his knowledge of the product and his experience with heating and cooling in general was what we had hoped and there was no need to contact another provider for the job. He laid out everything we needed in very clear terms and, gave us a quote that was very reasonable and let us know he could start the work as soon as we were ready. The job required (2) outdoor units and (4) indoor and was completed in the expected timeframe (3 days) and very much to our satisfaction. Gerald and his assistant Brett, who was first day on job, were very pleasant to work with, left the site clean every day and worked very efficiently as a team, despite no previous experience together. We were left with a very clear understanding of the cooling/heating system they installed and how to operate it. In the end, we felt very confident we made the right decision choosing Gerald and SCOOP HVAC for our project and have decided to start an annual service contract with them for all our plumbing and heating maintenance. Highly recommend these guys for any projects in this space.

My house was not heating because 2 sets of batteries were dead, and he replaced them. Then demonstrated how to clean filters. This took almost 1.5 hours when 20 minutes would have covered it. Gerald repeats himself a lot, but I appreciate the results greatly.

From my first phone call to Superior Co-op, I was very impressed with how courteous and accommodating Gerald was. He came in a snow storm, 2 days later to assess our needs for a ductless AC/heat system. He invited us over to his building so they could show us the systems they were suggesting for us. The next day we went and Glen was very detailed in showing us and explaining everything. We had our estimate that day. We decided to go with their suggestion of AC/Hyper Heat pump system. The installation process was again very impressive with Josh (Geralds son) and a few others doing an awesome job. They were very polite and answered all our questions as they came about and addressed any concerns. Gerald and Glen came back in a week or so (with a beautiful Orchid plant!!) and explained all the remotes and operation of the systems. With my 40+ years of being in customer service, I insist on quality, detail and excellence and I can honestly say that this business holds up to their name SUPERIOR!! The DIAMOND PREFERRED Mitsubishi contractor is well deserved! The above detail was initial and installation review. Now in 2025, I will add that service is still great and have had no issues at this point. Will keep my fingers crossed and look forward to be contacted to setup annual servicing!

Prompt response and patient description of important maintenance actions

We are very happy with the mini-split system. We can heat or cool the spaces that we are using. It also allows us to use AC in the bedrooms with doors closed and keep the door to the screen porch open and enjoy fresh air.

I couldn t be happier with the entire process from start to finish. The owner, Gerald, is running a tight ship. The level of expertise and professionalism was beyond impeccable. I just put a 5 unit split system into our vacation home in North Creek. Rebecca can to assess our specific needs. She was terrific. The installation was flawless and everyone there was courteous and professional. We had some questions about the operation of the system after our initial use. We replaced our propane furnace with a new multi-zone heat pump and, so far, its been wonderful! We love the way it keeps the temperature steady instead of cycling on and off the way furnaces do. It feels much warmer than our furnace ever did, even when it was new. Our salesperson was Rebecca and she was able to answer all of our questions and has been wonderful at showing us how to use the new system. Plus, the install crew was great!

Not only did SCOHVAC do a great job cleaning my furnace, but their very conscientious technician Trevor noticed that our electrical panel was warm to the touch and brought it to my attention. When I opened the panel there was a large squirrel nest inside which could have caused a fire if gone unnoticed. I am very grateful to Trevor for his concern for safety. Superior HVAC designed, quoted and installed a whole house heating/cooling ductless system. The design and quoting process was professional and timely, pricing fell within the middle of three quotes from multiple contractors. Why I decided to go with Superior was the brand (Mitsubishi) and the fact that they did a proper heat loss study to ensure the home will be heated, they also rolled rebates into the bottom line. The gentleman that installed the system were professional and neat, it did take a week and a half to complete the install due to snow storms, so this was not the companies fault. If I could give 4.5 stars, I would. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is due to some issues with the units themselves. This might not fall directly on Superior, but they were issues none the less. Two of the outdoor compressors had open technical issues (firmware did not work correctly), the system still worked, however created loud noises during heating cycles. This was a known issue that we found out after the install was complete (a Mitsubishi rep came 2.5 weeks after install to perform firmware update). Just after the firmware was updated, the main compressor for the 3 largest rooms in our home had an error code, turned out that the power board stopped working. Superiors service team did clear their schedule to correct this and will be installing a new part shortly. Overall, if you are looking for a market priced system with a service team that backs their product, look no further then Superior.

I got 3 estimates. SCOOP was by far the most knowledgeable and professional of all. Installation was scheduled and performed by highly skilled and friendly installers. Im very happy I went with SCOOP.

I had mini splits installed for my garage and the living space above the garage. Superior Co-Op was fantastic. My uncle had his system installed by Superior Co-Op and recommended them. Absolutely no complaints. They made sure we were on the same page through the whole process. If youre considering doing mini splits definitely check them out as the NYS rebates are good and Superior takes care of it.

I ve been looking into having mini splits installed in my house for a while now. Highly recommend Superior Co-Op with them being a Diamond dealer. Dan our sales rep took his extra time talking us through pricing and what it all entails. Was really satisfied with the installation. Tom, Donovan, and Ricky were all professional. They were polite and respectful and really took there time. In 3 days they installed 4 mini splits and 2 heat pumps. This whole experience has been great and I would recommend Superior Co-Op to anyone looking into the idea of mini splits.

To be honest I didn t really trust all the good reviews (I m jaded by working as a construction project manager for several years) But these guys really did a fantastic job. I had a pretty complex install with a ducted minisplit under a bed loft with the outdoor unit on a hill. They really knocked it out of the park. It took a little longer than planned but that was fine because they stopped when they realized they didn t have a very unique ducting transition needed to make a clean install. I would prefer this any day over them just slamming it in to get done and then being unhappy with it the rest the systems life. With the current federal and NYS rebates I cant recommend Mitsubishi hyper heat minisplits or this company enough! These systems really do make good heat down to single digits (the coldest I ve tested so far)

Really happy we chose Superior. Excellent to work with from the design of our system through to great workmanship. The team gave careful consideration to how to best route things and the end result is super clean. The owner and project manager put in lots of face time. Everyone on the team knows Mitsubishi installation inside and out. The heat in the house is much more comfortable and consistent than our previous mix of oil, pellet stove, and propane stove. Most importantly the cats are very happy with the heat pump over their favorite couch.

I contracted Superior Co-Op to install 2 Mitsubishi Hyper-Heat heat pumps in a garage renovation/ conversion project. Very professional and expert installation. Glen, Austin and Gerald were all great. Installed 3 Mitsubishi Mini-Splits (so far- we need the upstairs done) in a 200 year old house. Installers were amazing, even went into crawl space to run some pipes. Amazingly clean work. Transformed a hard to heat using very noisy old school A/C window/and portable units, into a super quiet comfortable house. Rooms that had very heat are now usable! And the downstairs is COLD. They also came back to repair a few duct covers that were cracked by branches falling. EXCELLENT company to work with. We had some real crazy AC quotes and they were the absolute best. Will use them again.

These are the folks youre looking for. I wanted green and energy efficient options for my HVAC and water heating needs. I knew heat pumps and hybrid water heaters were leading those spaces, but without real experience it is hard to know what to do. In all interactions they have been calm, courteous, and professional, and they have done so whether its over email, the phone, or in person. These folks talked me through the type of equipment, where the heat pumps and mini-splits would likely be set up, and other such concerns. The work they did on-site was also a great experience. It was done quietly and with respect towards myself and the home. They kept the place clean and always cleaned up perfectly at the end of each day. If the workers had questions for me or needed to tell me anything, they did so with politeness. On top of that, the quality of work seems good and quick. They beat their time and cost estimate for the install, which was an added bonus! What really sets them apart is their handling of an equipment issue. The water heater needed replaced after the initial install due to a issue with the product itself (not an install issue). They handled the warranty replacement conversations with the manufacturer and got everything covered for a reinstall. This is worth its weight in gold! We all know how big corporations do everything they can to not honor agreements such as warranties, but having Scoop HVAC handle it all was an immense relief. Use these guys. Ask them your questions and get their advice. I think youll be happy with them.

Superior Co-Op HVAC just completed the installation of two Mitsubishi outdoor multi zone heat pumps with six indoor units, in our home, and did a superb job. Running the hoses and wires to the indoor units was complicated because of their placement and three of the units, located in the dining room and above in two adjacent bedrooms, required complex routing. The principal installers, Rick and Tom were exceptionally qualified and very easy to work with. All the installers worked carefully and cleaned up as they worked. The units operate well, and in the low to medium fan settings are virtually silent. There were some supply issues, but Scoop managed to work around the problems. Austin and Glen were very responsive to any of my questions regarding the unit choices and their sizing recommendations were perfect. I initially explored other brands and suppliers. Fortunately, I made the right choice in choosing Superior Co-Op HVAC and Mitsubishi, and highly recommend both.

Pricey, but they install the best units on the market...you get what you pay for. In terms of the service/install provided, the only thing to say is top shelf. Starts with Sales...great people taking the time to help design a system that meets your needs. Very patient with every question we threw at them. Worked patiently through financing options. Now to Install....aside from being very friendly, very knowledgable about the product theyre installing, and very considerate, there is an attentional to detail (almost craftsman level) that weve rarely encountered. When I made the decision to build a house near Copake, NY a key criteria was that it would be all electric. For me that meant not using a conventional gas or oil furnace for heating. I had done a lot of research about mini-split systems and it was clear that current efficiency levels were such that even in cold NE winters, they worked well. So I started looking for HVAC companies and came across Superior Co-op. They offer Mitsubishi products which I believe are the best on the market, they came out and did a very thorough assessment of my requirements, and their proposal fit my budget. They also offered low/zero interest financing. Installation was delayed due to the supply chain problems but when the materials did come in the install went flawlessly. The technicians came out, knew what they were doing, went through everything in great detail, and finished early. Very satisfied with Superior, their staff, and their products.

Superior Co-Op sent a sales rep to our house (Matthew) to help explain what we were getting and the costs involved. We felt the cost was higher than we anticipated. After some more research we signed with them. From start to finish we were extremely pleased with the word done. We had 6 ductless units installed to heat and cool our entire house. Installation was done by people who paid attention to all details. They were clean, polite, and all work was completed in a timely manner. No only have I been recommending the products but I have recommended Superior Co-Op in Cambridge NY specifically.

It was a 3 day project in which they were on time in the morning and worked hard all day and cleaned any mess before the left at the end of the day. They did everything I wanted and answered all questions I had. Waited for one cold month to post this review and the heating worked great, anticipating that the air conditioning works as well this summer. On February 11, 2022 Matthew Godfrey and Dan Davis arrived in the aftermath of a snow storm and went through my house to take measurements, look for places for Minisplit heat pump installation , and showed me all Mitsubishi heating and cooling options. An engineering report was generated , but at that time I could not afford a complete heating system and opted for one minisplit installation that was in the one spot that needed the greatest cooling and heating attention. That was installed in May of 2022. Matt followed up every step of the way and was fully supported by the team at Superior Co-Op HVAC. The installation was fast, efficient and attractive inside and out. I highly recommend Superior Co-OP HVAC for all Mitsubishi heating and cooling needs.

I waited a couple of months to get an accurate read on my new heat pumps. I started out talking to Matthew. He did a great job walking me through the entire process, from what would work to heat my house efficiently, placement, size, type, and btus, he kept me posted on when my equipment was arriving for the installation and was available anytime I needed to have a question answered. The install happened in early November. Greg was my next line of communication. Also very knowledgeable, and helped me get things scheduled and going with my weird work schedule. Came to my house walked through, took note of where to place the indoor and outdoor units for best efficiency and did a great job as well The work crew was amazing. They were fast. Worked hard. Explained everything they were doing ( boy sounds like I bugged people alot ) They got job done a day sooner than was planned, and they worked so cleanly I didnt have to clean up after they left. Looked like they hadnt ever been there! What a great job all the way around. As for the heat pumps themselves. I love them. They work great. Keep my house at a nice steady temp. I will say I need to upgrade my insulation. My house is from the 1800s so its drafty. My electric bill did go up. Which is going to happen. But it went up by an amount that is actually saving me several hundred dollars since i havent had to turn on my oil furnace or propane fireplaces. We have had some good cold days and the temps stay right about where I want it. This company is great. Did an amazing job and well worth the investment! Im so glad I pulled the trigger on these and talked to Matthew.

With the inefficiencies of electric resistance heating and the unfortunate rise in home heating oil over the last year, I struggled to learn which alternative source of energy might be most cost-effective, exploring a host of options available to me. Finally settling on heat pump technology, I drew from a list of installers that National Grid had assembled, businesses that work directly with NYS rebates, minimizing the personal burden of paperwork filing. From this list, I examined several offerings, landing on Superior Co-Op HVAC. I quickly learned to look no further. Not only did they provide Mitsubishi, manufacturer of the highest quality systems in the industry, but their business model emphasizing integrity and attention to customer and community, won me over. I am also a business owner, and from our inception in 1973, people have been the priority. Sure, we are here to make money, but the atmosphere we create in the process is of the greatest measurable value. I began with a mini split installation in the corporate office, attached to our home. The installation was a challenging one in that the structure was built in 1840, with two additions over the years. This meant that running the power would prove problematic. We settled on the placement of the exterior heat pump and interior wall mount, hoping for a clear line of sight to run the electric. This proved far too complicated given the crawl space under that area of the home. The Superior Co-Op HVAC techs did what they could to minimize the appearance of an alternative outdoor conduit. But, in the end, I just couldn t live with the results. I have to say, these guys are the most understanding and accommodating team you can hope to work with. After exploring a number of differing options, we settled on one that eliminated what I knew would eventually feel to me like an eyesore. They made the extra trip, put in the extra work, and made this customer appreciative and 100% satisfied! Who did I work with? Austin in sales and consulting is an absolutely stand-up-guy, one any boss would want on his team. Glen was lead on overall management and troubleshooting. You could not ask for a more knowledgeable and considerate contributor to decision making. Trevor, Cliff, and a number of others, the names of whom unfortunately escape me now, were the most polite and diligent installers. You want these guys on your job. I briefly met owner, Gerry Davis, along the way. But honestly, watch the promo video on the company website. You will know Gerry, you will know why his company works, and you will know why they are poised to capture major market share in heat pump installation in the areas they service. View the video, every impression is family, and in my book, that cultivation of cohesive character and competence is paramount when you are talking business. Ahhh but am I saving? Is this technology as efficient as advertised? Yes, and Yes! It has only been several months, but they have been very cold months and Mitsubishi has risen to the challenge drawing heat out of sometimes subzero exterior air and warming my office at a significant savings over every season I can recall. I decided on Mitsubishi because of their reputation for patented quality. I came to Superior Co-Op HVAC because they seemed competent, genuine, and state of the art. I will stay with Superior Co-Op HVAC because they have met every one of those criteria. I cannot recommend them more highly.

We discussed the situation I was experiencing. Within a few short days a two man team , Trever and Tom, showed at the house and did an outstanding job of finding and fixing my problems. I experienced excellent service from everyone involved and highly recommend Superior Co Op HVAC for your work.

We had the worst possible experience with this company. Bought 3 air filters for my business at full price, and ordered a $11,000 minisplit system for the lakehouse.They were very enthusiastic about bidding for the job, but not very good at providing a final product. They were supposed to install a minisplit system, but neglected two important issues, before convincing me to order a system. They failed to inspect the site and take accurate measurements, so as a result they could not install the system. My wife cancelled two days of work and meetings to make herself available for this installation. When they realized the screw up, they just walked away, taking no responsibility for their mistakes. Gerald is a nice guy, but Glenn is not to be trusted, and their technicians are incompetent. Look elswhere for professional HVAC or minsplit installations and maintenance

I was skeptical at first because when I read the reviews of Superior Co-op I could hardly find a discouraging word. But they lived up to their gold-plated billing. Gerald came to the house just hours after my initial call to see about installing a Mitsubishi heat pump system. We had an estimate and references the next day (a Sunday) and about 10 days later a crew arrived to begin work.The job they did was meticulous and immaculate. They have obviously been drilled in a superior work ethic and first-class customer service. My only quibble is that Gerald on his initial visit missed the trouble posed by the propane tank outside our kitchen where our new HVAC compressors were supposed to go. There were some anxious moments about how to move the tank out the way, but everything worked out in the end. Gerald has since registered our equipment for the Mitsubishi warranty and applied for our state rebate.We are applying for a rebate from National Grid. I would recommend Superior Co-op without hesitation.

We highly recommend the Mitsubishi heap pump systems, they are quiet and very effective. The Superior HVAC crew did a fantastic job installing the units, the ducting work is almost unnoticeable on the home exterior. The whole experience, from initial quote and walk-through to install, was very professional. We hold the whole Superior HVAC team in the highest regard and would recommend them without reservation.

Friendly and great installers. We had a few equipment hiccups (my bad luck and manufacturer issues, not the businesses fault) that Glen and team have been great about working to resolve. Over all very happy with the heat pumps + HVAC units. Waiting to resolve a overly loud sound issue with the compressor of new hot water heater (manufacturer issue) but I know SCOOP will take care of it once the part arrives. Very happy to have switched away from Oil heat before this winter.

I recently had Gerald and his team install hyper-heat heat pumps to replace my oil furnace. The level of service was remarkable at every step of the process. I was unfamiliar with the technology at first, but Gerald walked me through it, explaining how everything worked. The installation crew was excellent: prompt, professional, and friendly. When the installation was interrupted by an unforeseen electrical problem that had nothing to do with the heat-pump installers, they handled it brilliantly--even helping to remedy the problem. Post-installation, I have had some questions about peak performance and efficiency, and the Superior Co-Op HVAC crew has continued to be very responsive, making two visits to my home to ensure that everything was working as well as it could. I am now a month into having the heat pumps, and Im really happy I made the transition. The house is warm and cozy, as well as more energy-efficient. Plus, Ill never have to see that oil-delivery hangtag on my door knob again.

Great company to do business with from start to finish. Josh and Tom did a fantastic job installing my Mitsubishi hyper heat heat pump. They were on time, worked together incredibly well , were perfectionist on every aspect of this install, very friendly ,very communicative and at the end when it came time to install the Wi-Fi connection to my phone were very patient and waiting for Mitsubishi technical support to answer the phone and give us guidance. There was nothing wrong with either the installation in Mitsubishi turns out that my phone had just started running Android 12 in their app was not compatible yet with it. Good news was that I had an older phone that we were able to do the install on and transfer it to my to new phone. Thanks also to Glenn who came out to do the estimate. Also great communication via the Internet and email for the estimate and their arrival time for the installation.

I ve never experienced a company refusing service because they weren t the ones to install. They re more worried about how they look than helping, even if it means a house with a child has no heat.

We used SCOOP HVAC for our new Mitsubishi heat pump heating and cooling system. They were a pleasure to deal with and started by evaluating our needs, returning to discuss the plan and review their quote. The installers, Josh and Tom, were very professional and knowledgeable. Old homes always present a problem, but they were very diligent and found the best solutions while keeping us informed as the work progressed. Updated review: Now that I have gotten a full season out of these, here is a finale review. I have 6 total units, 5 high wall, 1 low wall. They are the only heating source I used all winter in 2000 SQ FT home. We had a fairly mild winter, but I am still highly impressed with what they did. The only thing I can nitpick is the temperature reading on the high wall units reads higher than the actual room temperature. This was fixed by installing a wall thermometer away from the unit. I finally received my meter reading, I was expecting the total Bill to be 1000 plus over a 3 month period. It was 657.00. That means the 3 month average was around 150-175 dollars more a month to run it (after subtracting usual bill). That is almost half of the cost to run my previous furnace. Those savings are paying for this unit itself. I was so nervous putting this system in, it is a lot of money to gamble on something you do not know a lot about. Thankfully Gerald was super helpful, knowledgeable and trustworthy. I would recommend this to anyone. If you need to replace your HVAC system, you shouldnt get anything else but this. No fuel, efficient, easy maintenance, quiet, and it works as AC in the summer. You get rebates and tax breaks as well because it is renewable energy. I have never been more happy with an investment in my life. I am truly grateful I stumbled across Superior co op HVAC. Very professional and polite. Work is done within times schedule given. Followed up without hesitation for small things needed to finish. Responsive when I was learning the system to walk me through it. Thanks guys!

On August 4th 2020 what was left of hurricane Isaias dumped 3.61 inches of rain here in Adirondack, NY according to my rain gauge. Scoophvac undaunted by the deluge of rain showed up in when others would have run and did a magnificent job installing my Mitusbishi Hyper Heat AC Heat pump. This crew is not only incredibly tough when faced with adverse weather conditions but also highly skilled. Glenn and Trevor who did the install were neat and professional at every level. Gerald the owner is a delight to work with and we now look forward to Scoophvac replacing our electric hot water heater with an efficient heat pump hot water heater.

Owner went out of his way to get here (1 hour drive) and give estimate on short notice, on a Saturday. But we decided to use a different vendor who was much closer and less expensive.

So the responsiveness of Gerry and crew was great but lacking in problem solving skills. My oil boiler maintenance was routine and though there were no problems when they arrived, I had problems after they left my home. The main problem was that the smell of unburned home heating oil was pervasive weeks after the maintenance was completed. Gerry and a crew member came back twice to try and resolve the problem, even on Christmas Eve, but had no luck eliminating the problem. After calling in another service person, and paying an additional $122, the new person found that the nozzle was not tightened sufficiently causing fuel to leak at that location. Upon tightening the nozzle, the smell of unburned fuel was eliminated. Gerry and crew continually tried to address the problem by focusing on the exhaust of the boiler and in doing so dislodged a piece of insulation surrounding the Burner area. This caused a minor chemical smell every time the boiler fired for any length of time. This was a tough one to resolve but ultimately we did. Though well-intentioned, the problem solving approaches were lacking and ended up costing me significant amounts of time and money that I wish I could have avoided.

Moreover, SCOOP was the only company we contacted that was willing to do the extra work involved to get us a huge rebate ($7,300) from National Grid for installing an energy efficient system. The final install looks great and works even better. Id gladly call them again, and theyll certainly be doing the annual maintenance on the system for me.

This is a first class business that is truly Superior. We wanted a Mitsubishi HVAC minisplit which we could control via the Kumo cloud app, for our vacation home in Chestertown. Austin came out & explained our options. He was pleasant, professional & knowledgeable. We decided to have Superior do the work & we have been extremely satisfied with their above & beyond effort to make sure everything is right. The installation was done with the utmost care & attention to detail by Josh & Bob. They showed up on time, explained everything they were doing, did it right & went the extra mile when our old router did not work well with the wireless interface on our new unit. When we replaced the router later that week, Austin came back out & took care of making sure that wed be able to control the unit from our home four hours south. When I emailed him last week, nearly two months after the installation, that we were once again unable to access the system via the Kumo cloud app, he offered to meet us at our home ON A SATURDAY & do his best to get things working as wed envisioned them when we decided to make this purchase. Once again, Austin arrived & made good on his companys commitment to Superior service. Our unit is working perfectly with the new wireless interface he installed & we are beyond happy with our unit, this company & its employees who are consistently Superior!

10 second review: A+ company, will recommend to friends and family. Long review: We live in a historic home built before electricity or plumbing was available, much less HVAC. It was always our dream to have AC installed. This summer after spending so much time at home (thanks Covid!) we finally got serious and asked three of the big HVAC companies in the capital area to quote us. One after another they came and said traditional AC would not be possible because of our limited attic and basement space, oh and split systems they don t work all that well, not enough power... . Not one to take a No for an answer we did more of our own research and found people all over the world use split systems so why not us!? Research indicated Mitsubishi was the best, we found Superior Co-Op on their diamond installer list and gave them a call. Gerald David, the founder of the company actually answered the phone! He made an appointment to come out and see our impossible job . To our delight he has decades of experience and actually offered us more than one option for how the heat pumps could be installed! The quote process was transparent, he uses a app and did it on site. He took the time to explain how the systems work, environmental benefits and even met us on his day off at his office so we could see and hear the actual units at work. (Side note, his office/showroom is great, worth the drive to see all the options.). After that meeting the decision was made. We called and said Yes, Gerald gave us an install date a few weeks out. Anyone who has done any house project knows how no contractor gives a date, let alone keeps it. Two days before the date we received an email confirming the appointment for the install!! Glen and Trevor arrived right on time and got to work, even bringing a whole house air filter for any dust created, side benefit it also filters corona virus! Our install was a little complicated but over the course of the two planned days Gerald and the rest of his team exceed our expectations. The work was done efficiently, everything was cleaned up and we are thrilled with our new system. They even took the time to explain how to use the remote. We now are looking forward to the first oppressively hot and humid day next summer so we can give it a workout! In the meantime we can use the heat setting to delay firing up our big gas furnace until the real cold sets in. Again, many thanks for making our impossible dream true!

Gerald Davis is the best! Opened my pool Memorial Day weekend and the heater didnt work...of course. I was referred to Gerald by Paul Nicastro of Albany Pool Rebuilders (another outstanding contractor) and he came down within a couple of days, quickly diagnosed the problem and made the repair.

We attempted to reach the last person we used to repair our pool heater but he never returned multiple messages so we scheduled our appointment with Superior for today. They arrived early, which was very pleasing. It was clear that Gerald knows about pool heaters. He educated us on many aspects and found the problem quickly. And he actually had the part we needed with him! That has never happened before. In fact, we had to wait four weeks the last time we needed a part through another company. I first came in contact with Gerald Davis about 18 months ago when I was getting quotes from different resources for the Hyper heat pumps. There was no pressure from Gerald to sign a contract, he sincerely informed with the facts about the units and installation. One key point was not to make any holes through my log home. I knew once I decided to reduce my use of fossil fuel, I would sign on with Gerald. Well that happened just after the New Year, 2020; I have zoned my entire home. The team (Josh, who lead the team and the others) performed the work in the time projected by Gerald, there were no delays, when there were questions, Josh contacted me to discuss any matters and Gerald kept in contact with me. Gerald and his team were professional, proficient with the installation, knowledgeable, respective of my home by cleaning up and moving items out of my way when I returned home. Josh was creative with a solution with one challenge to connect a unit to the outside. Gerald and Josh completed a walk-thru with instructions how to optimally use this new heat source. My loft has a ceiling cassette which is perfect for that area. And they all were super friendly with my dog, Chip. Additionally, they addressed other unrelated minor repairs in my home. We went with SCOOP HVAC because they offered the product we were interested in (Mitsubishi ductless mini-split air source hyper-heat pump) and they are located with a few miles of our home. The entire process, from our initial meeting with Gerald to project completion went smoothly with no surprises. We initially met with Gerald at our home and then met him at the showroom where he went over the component features and pricing. The crew began installation of a heating system (comprised of two outdoor units and five mini-split heads) as well as a heat pump water heater, within a few days after meeting with Gerald. The entire system was installed and tested in four days. Josh lead the installation and walked us through all of the components and answered all of our questions about operation and maintenance. All work was done in a neat and professional manner. We are very happy with the products and services provided by SCOOP HVAC and would recommend them to others.

What a wonderful experience. Not only was my problem diagnosed quickly and efficiently, but the solution was administered with professionalism and a high degree of quality. I will definitely work with them again! Had an old heat pump for the pool that was about 15 years old. It was completely busted and seemed to have a refrigerant leak. When they came over, they knew exactly what the problem was, and offered a new model which would run much more efficiently (works in the low 30s, instead of 50s like my last one). I originally had my pool guy ready to install it, but since it was so advanced, he didnt feel comfortable. Enter Superior co-op HVAC: they took on the job and ran all the cables and lines and even found out that a snake had slithered into the power coil and shorted out the whole system! I thought that was going to delay the repair/reinstall, but they were able to replace the power box as well on the same day. Pool heater is working and after one day, Im already 6 degrees higher. Thank you guys so much.

Gerald diagnosed my water heater problem (fatal) on Friday and he installed a new unit on the following day. He was very knowledgeable and his team was competent and professional despite working on a scheduled day off. We will use Superior Co-Op HVAC in the future.

Our almost 30-year old furnace died in February 2017 so we called Superior Co-op HVAC to replace it and install central a/c. This all happened on a Tuesday evening. Gerald came on Wednesday to assess the situation and installed the new furnace on Thursday. Very quick service! (And quite a relief considering the time of year.) Gerald, the owner, came to my business on December 30th to fix a broken pipe and a furnace. He spent two hours and could not get either to work leaving me without heat. He said that he would come back two days later to finish the job. For that day he gouged me for $500. While he was doing the job he said that I would be charged double time, not before. Two days later he said that he is booked out for two weeks. So, now I have to get someone else as I cannot wait two weeks. I paid 500 dollars for absolutely nothing.

New Year New Furnace. Went to bed fine and woke up with no heat. New Years day was tough. I called several places for 24/7 emergencies, but nobody answered. I called Superior CO-OP HVAC, and Gerald answered right away. He also came an hour later to take a look at it. My 20 year old furnace was not worth repeatedly fixing part after part. We went with a new furnace. Despite how busy they were with current customers, and what seemed like a no heat epidemic, Gerald was able to get me a new furnace and installed the next day. I am very grateful to the team who came out during the freezing temperatures and installed the furnace. As a veteran myself, I recommend veteran owned businesses because they get the job done right! Oh, it has been a week and still have not heard back from any of the other companies I left a message for. Superior thanks for watching my six .
