We have a car that failed inspection. They were very helpful in providing guidance about whether it could or should be repaired and then when we decided that it was done, they facilitated donating it to a local fire service for emergency training.

Wouldn t let us pick up a car and charged storage fees after he told us that he would NOT Charge storage fees!

I went there for an oil replacement and they seemed very friendly when I dropped it off, when I picked my car up the next day everything seemed fine so I paid and left. When I got back home my dad realized that they never even replaced the oil. When I called them about it they answered all friendly and then when I mentioned not getting oil they just hung up

If I could give negative stars I would! This companys customer service is atrocious the way they deal with their customers is unprofessional and honestly downright deplorable! My car was towed and when I went to pick up my vehicle the next day I phoned and talked to Eric himself about fees and pick up etc. My car was technically in his lot for 1 day (Friday) I authorized a friend to pick up so I wouldnt incur an extra 100$a day, this man would not let me pick up my car on Friday before they closed for the weekend. he said he didnt care to release my car to me based on his own moral obligation to himself, WHICH IS ILLEGAL. YOU CANT PLAY GOD AND HOLD PEOPLES CARS HOSTAGE JUST BECAUSE YOU WANT TO! SICK!!

Quick service with friendly employees. AAA Membership made it much cheaper. Problem was found fast and I wasnt overcharged.

My power steering went on my car on the way to home from class one day and they towed my car fixed the power steering and changed my oil for a great price. It took them only 4 days when they originally thought it would take a week.

Helped my daughter with a tough non-start issue where she was far from home. Very professional and thorough with their diagnosis.

I needed to have my car towed from the middle of nowhere they found me in good time. My experience with them from the time they towed my car to the time they had it done was amazing, friendly, knowlegeable, and got my car in and done in good time!

Was not impressed with this company s towing service. Charged me 300.00 for a tow that was 4.1 miles from my house and would not give me 10 minutes to get to the atm to pay him so I could drive it home. We never needed a tow anywhere only needed to get pulled out of the ditch , now is towing it back to canton. How unprofessional and so disrespectful they are . I would never recommend anyone to use this company for any towing related service. If you want a great towing company that is great with every customer I would highly recommend trusseder s garage in edwards ny

My water pump blew after dropping my son off at college 400 miles from my home. Went to Johnsons when they opened. They understood my plight and were able to fit me in and repair my car within a very timely manner. All the staff there were extremely courteous. I couldnt have asked for a better experience. Hope I never have to use them again but if im in a jam or my son has a problem with his vehicle when hes allowed to take it up to college, well definitely be calling Johnsons first!!

There have been several occasions that I have had vehicles towed and repair work done. I have never experienced any problems. Recently my wife was in an accident and Erics service is the one I requested. After looking at the vehicle it was obvious that there would be no point in attempting repair. So I asked Eric if the scrap value would cover the towing to which he said it would. Entire problem taken care of in minutes. Other times I have been there for tires that needed plugs, etc. Always been a good experience. Currently have appmt for front suspension work on my truck. I expect the same service I have always received without issues.

Well I bought my part for my truck and had them tow it. About a month and 2 weeks later (after apologizing and bugging them since I was walking a mile to work and back everyday in the winter) I was told the frame wouldnt pass inspection even though the last owner got it passed before he told it to me. I just moved here from Seattle and have never had to do inspections so, Im not fully knowledgeable about it. Anyway, thats not why Im giving 2 stars. Its because during that month I was only told sorry its taking so long. Well, anything else you can tell me? Have you started on my truck? Is the frame fixable? Literally all I heard was that and frame is rusted I went to sell it to scrap it ($1,000 later) and Im not sure if Im happy that he was being honest or after a month later and several times contacting them I was told sorry Cant help.

I would only recommend this place to someone looking for a horrible smelling office and and overabundunce of incompetence. They choose to do good work for customers they like and steal from the rest. Worst option anywhere when it comes to car repair or towing.

Excellent work, extremely professional. Definitely the best in the North Country. Very happy that they are the AAA provider now. They had to pull me 50 feet up a frozen driveway and did it with ease.

Very good man Erik is a reasonable man when I was in a situation even dropped off the car to me at work. Be nice to your tow operators and business especially here bc hes a rational man.

My daughter was stranded at work. I called for roadside assistance, and Johnsons was sent to help. Despite the roadside company sending the wrong info to to them, Johnsons was great! My daughter said the man who came was helpful and had the car running in no time. He was helpful, professional, and so understanding! A great relief to a worried mother... Would recommend them anytime!

Was very helpful to take care of my son when a boulder ran into him on his college campus during an ice storm. Very quick to respond and got him back on the road.
