Bill the owner basically rescued our adult daughter after a multi-vehicle wreck on the Thruway. He not only towed her car, but drove her safely to the next exit so she could get home. Wow. What a menche he is! Thanks Bill!
So i got my husband's truck stuck in a ditch this morning. I call Absolute towing and they were so nice. They sent Jim out to help me and he even got me to smile. I would be using them again.
More like "Absolute Worst Towing!" My roadside assistance provider contacted them to tow me. Apparently, there was an issue with the payment information. Instead of Absolute Towing updating me or the provider of the situation, they simply cancelled the service. It was only when I called them after waiting for almost two hours that they informed me of the cancellation. It took another hour for my provider to find another towing company. All in all, three hours of my life went down the drain when all Absolute Towing had to do was call me or my provider about the payment issue right after it happened. I'm just glad it wasn't in the dead of winter. Such heartless people! Update: Absolute Towing responds claiming I have wrong business. Absolute Towing in Catskill, NY.
Ed did a great job! He helped me tow my Tesla back to Albany. He was very nice and courteous! He even waiting for my daughter that was also picking me up.
Exceptional service from Absolute Towing. I got a flat tire on the highway and didn't have a spare, and Ed drove us in the tow truck all the way to a shop near our destination in Lake Placid. We were not expecting such excellent service and cannot thank Ed enough!
Saved me from being stranded! I had a flat tire in Hudson on my rental car and was in a rush to get back to NYC. They came to my aid in 30 minutes and helped changed my flat over to the spare so I could get to an auto shop. Super friendly and reasonable pricing. My husband recently experienced a flat heading to work on the thruway, Absolute Towing was prompt and went above and beyond to get him safely off the side of the road, their keen eye suggested a simple fix which got him quickly back on the road. He even realized that my husband was unable to make phone calls and allowed him to use his to let me know he was ok. 10/10 recommend!
Just before Christmas, we were hit by someone running a red light. Our 12 passenger van rolled. Absolute Towing came to haul our van away. They were very helpful. When I went back the next day to clear out my belongings, Ed was there, and he helped me get the plates off and was so kind and helpful. I can't say enough about how good he was to us in such a horrific time for me. Thank you Ed for all you did!! I really appreciate your help and kindness!
Decent place with an owner who can work with you to get your car either fixed or compensated properly for the loss of your vehicle. Expert enough to pull my car off two rocks and didnt give me any collateral damage.

It was Monday, Sept 18th, 2023. Rushing from Coxsackie NY to the VA clinic in Catskill. Of course, as luck will be, I blew a tire on 9W heading south. I pulled into Absolute towing by coincidence, and ran in to ask if they could fill the tire. He looked at me without saying too much, but said there is no way that tire can hold air. Immediately he went back into the shop and retrieved a jack and pneumatic wrench and changed my tire in under a minute. I made it to my appointment with 7 minutes to spare. Some may not think much of this, but to someone that is on Active Surveillance for prostate cancer, well, I still cant thank this guy enough for helping me get on my way. He should be working the sidelines at a Nascar event :-)
Very unprofessional and rude. Refused to give a receipt when paying cash and were very condescending when talked to them on the phone. Don t use them!

Worst experience Ive ever had! I really thought I could trust them but they took advantage of my situation. I had to pay $450 in tow yard storage for 2 days!! Couldnt get a recipt or any paperwork!
Eric got my poor Baja off the dies the road when the ball joint decided to break. Mind you he showed up earlier then the ETA, and did a wonderful job moving my vehicle. Was kinda and considerate and absolutely helpful. Absolute definitely are a fantastic service.

This guy stiffed us when we needed a tow guy desperately. It wasnt even late or on a weekend, or anything. All we needed was a simple jumpstart, too. The guy just said No. No explanation or anything given, just no. Unreliable business. Dont depend on these characters if you are stuck - you will get nowhere.

I got into a accident on this last big snow storm a person hit me totaling my vehicle they came without any issue and towed my plow truck the company paid for storage but unfortunately they didn t pick it up by time it was paid for I called the gentleman who owns the company it was a extra 3 days storage til they finally picked my truck up the owner told me to have a great Christmas and wonderful new year and I didn t owe him a dime.. I was absolutely amazed will do business with them 1000 times over and over again they made a stressful situation very easy to handle and helped out more than they will ever know
These guys are amazing! They rescued us in dangerously icy conditions when we got stuck in a huge snowstorm. If it hadnt been for them, our entire trip wouldve been ruined. We got stuck going up the side of Hunter Mountain. Our ECU crapped out. Absolute could have taken serious advantage of the situation, but instead delivered a great service at a very fair price. I would recommend them to anyone. I hope you never need them, but if you do, dont hesitate to call!
This afternoon, I called Progressive, my insurance company to request roadside assistance for a flat tire. I waited 2.5 hours to be told that the original place that they had called decided I was too far away. They were contacting a new company to help me. I was frustrated and didnt hold much hope for this new company. Then Absolute Towing called me to confirm my location. He was here very shortly after that. Very helpful, pleasant and got the job done quickly, giving me advice on the kind of tire to replace my old one with. I never got his name, but he also works for the county. Whoever he was deserves to be recognized for being a good guy. And they are rare. Thank you.
