So I own a Kia Rio I have a family of two and the wife we both work I was going through some very tough times there is a gentleman and a white shirt that greeted me very pleasantly I expressed to him what was happening and what was going on you know and I only had $120 to my name and I just was trying to get one tire cuz I had a flat tire and the gentleman ended up going above and beyond for me he even did an alignment he gave me two three tires for free I have never been to a better Mavis or met better people that are empathetically charismatic and genuine that actually want to help you instead of take the money out of your pocket so I highly recommend this me this to anyone and any case scenario the gentleman with the white shirt he wears glassesI cant remember his name but then theres also two other gentlemen one with brown hair pretty sure his name is Kyle Im not too sure and then another gentleman thats a little bit bigger with blonde hair but between the three of them they align my car gave me three free tires and blessed me beyond blessing me and my family so if I ever run into them and if you guys ever run into them make sure you appreciate them and show them gratitude and respect they are very good people

Went in because my mechanic was closed for the holiday weekend & car was having some issues with breaks. The team at Mavis was awesome they took a look, explained everything in detail & even walked me through visually so i could see the wear and tear on the left front side where the trouble was. Im a local farmer that had an unusual request I stopped at a spot before and was refused service due to incompetence basically. at the drop of a hat they knew what I needed started unloading my car mounting and balancing tires and got me in and out before I could even start apologizing for being a difficult customer. Everyone is courteous and professional and it seem like they actually give a hoot unlike most places nowadays. Ive walked in again to get options for new tires and they walked me through everything and made it simple and easy.

We were traveling to Connecticut when we got a bungee cord stuck in the tire. My husband was able to plug the leak, but we needed professional advice. We drove to Mavis. They immediately dropped everything to come look at the tire and did a quick check for leaks. After a good check up, we were on our way again. So grateful for Mavis quick service.

Went into the local new Mavis Tire Store to check on a low pressure light. They were extremely responsive, helpful and courteous. They took my car into the bay and had it on the lift within 10 minutes. They expertly checked all the tires for nails, glass, screws etc. They sprayed the tires with water to make sure it wasnt leaking at the valve or rim. Then they recalibrated the Honda tire pressure read system so the light went out and all was returned to normal. The price was very fair. Also should comment on an exceptionally clean waiting room and for those with small children, there was a play area with toys. Truly a find in Chatham and the surrounding Columbia County area. Also there is Lagonias restaurant next door so if you are waiting for wheel work you can have a terrace lunch with great Italian food!!

I dont write reviews but this place is worthy for one. This place is absolutely amazing!! I blew a tire on my trailer and called them, and they had everything I needed. I brought the tire to them, and in 15 minutes, they had it changed and were very carrying of my situation. If you ever blow a tire on the highway and near this location, give them a call!! The technician was super helpful and the staff was amazing. 100% recommend!!

3rd time I ve gotten absolutely outstanding service from Connor, so I had to leave a review! Twice I ve come in for a flat tire on a Sunday and Connor and the team saved the day. Really appreciate the fact that when I come in having a problem that he is happy to help and always so accommodating.

These guys were very helpful fixing a headlight, which took a little extra work to get in but they were very informative. I was in and out of there in no time. Great service and will definitely come back in the future.

Got a set of tires for my Tesla Model 3 here. The technicians were very knowledgeable, and Connor at the front was friendly and helpful. To top it off, I got a flat a couple of weeks later- NOT their fault. Again, Connor was great and they fixed the flat without charge.

I was in real trouble with a tire with a bad valve 4 hours from home on a Sunday, and they fixed it for free, super friendly and helpful!!

These guys really take care of their customers. I had some front end trouble and they explained everything, only fixed what needed to be fixed, and really did well by me, price-wise. They also recommended some additional work in the near future, but didnt pressure me to get it done right then and there. Since then Ive been back for an oil change (quick in and out) and am now back for some additional front end work they recommended.

Felt like a scam. Went in to get a tire plugged slow leak. Was told they dont plug tires,in such poor condition . I would need 4 new tires or they werent touching the car. ( 2nd employee told me id never make it a mile down the road with the tires I have) I just had the car inspected 2 months prior with no issues. Made it home then to Freds Tires and got a plug.. I just want to start off by saying the two men who helped me were absolutely sweet. I made a 9am appointment for 2 tires. I had to be to work by 11 thought it would have been plenty of time. I didn t leave till after 11. I waited over 2 hrs. When I cashed out the guy did tell me the one who worked on my car was new. Ok np I get it. So I only wanted 2 tires. But the guy talked me into getting all 4. I did need them just didn t wanna spend that much with Xmas being around the corner. He then told me I needed an alignment because of the way my front tires are worn down. He s the professional im not so i said ok if you think I need it. When I went to cash out I was told I didn t need one everything was green but I was charged $25 for the check. Even tho I didn t want one. The guy said I NEEDED one. I was in a rush because I was late for work and I couldn t really go over everything with the guy and I didn t wanna be a Karen . I finally got the chance to look when I got home and I was charged for a tire recycling fee. I didn t know that was a thing. I would have taken the tires. My sister has a farm. She could have used them. Then there is a $10 misc tax on top of the actual state tax. Have no idea what that is. Plus 19$ per tire for balancing. Again not a professional but you think that would be part of the labor I m paying for. But when you go on the mavis site and look up tire balancing it comes up free yet I was charged $80. This is why I hate getting anything done on my car. They take advantage.

The manager is amazing, I called Hudson to see if they could mount and balance one tire and it was a 2.5 hour wait no thanks, called Chatham and they took me in immediately and was done in 15 minutes. First, let s start off with the fact that I blew a tire out in the area and I live over an hour away. Having done business with Mavis, I immediately called the nearest Mavis and ended up talking to a gentleman by the name of Andrew. I cannot express the high level of service, empathy and sincere compassion for my situation that he was able to display over the phone. I even called back a second time to ask some more questions and did not feel any sort of annoyance from Andrew. He expressed his concern and offered me his deepest sincerest apologies for what I was going through. I managed to make it to the shop with a tire that was nearly obliterated and a passenger that still had to travel over two hours away. As soon as I pulled in, Andrew immediately knew who I was, and came outside to greet me even though it was freezing cold. Immediately went to the car, took some information down and got me right in. While inside, I had the pleasure of also meeting, Don. There were some technical challenges due to the type of vehicle that I was driving, but the entire team immediately jumped in to assess the situation. Some of the techs were online doing some research on alternate options to get me serviced and in no time my car was up in the air, and my tires were being replaced. Without their help, I would ve been stranded, and I would ve had to come out of pocket, possibly hundreds of dollars more to rectify the situation at hand. Both Andrew and Don made me feel at home and I truly feel as though I was more than a customer that day. I ve had nothing but great experiences here with Mavis so far in different locations. Based on the service and level of attentiveness, I would highly recommend the Chatham location and truly believe that people like Andrew and Don are the reasons why people keep coming back to businesses like this!
