One of the few shops around that take my auto warranty. Paid a little more than quoted but it was done timely and properly. Can't complain.
These guys completely saved mine and my boyfriends entire weekend. after an already frustrating weekend dealing with frozen bank accounts and limited cash, our brakes went out right as we were heading back to Boston. They managed to squeeze us in first thing in the morning after two other shops were unavailable. we were in and out in about an hour and a half. These gentlemen were the best kind of people to stumble across in a time of need.
I went to Jay's after reading reviews. Jason was patient and helpful answering my questions. Good prices and good work on my car. Happy with the experience and will be back.
I have been using Jay's Auto for many years and I've never been disappointed. Jason has taken over and hasn't skipped a beat. I've had multiple vehicles serviced here ranging from basic oil changes to some much bigger jobs. They will always save you money especially compared to the very expensive dealerships. I trust Jason and I always give him referrals which he is very grateful for! HONEST, RELIABLE and DEPENDABLE!!
After moving to the area I was in search of a local mechanic to do some work on my Honda. After seeing the positive reviews online about Jay’s Auto I trusted them with the work. I’m very thankful that Jason and his team are extremely honest! I went to another place closer to me to get my inspection and new tires. They told me before winter I would need my front wheel bearing replaced. I took it to Jays auto with Jason and he looked it all over and said no it’s perfectly fine!! He said he wouldn’t feel comfortable doing anything with a perfectly good vehicle and wouldn’t feel comfortable charging me! Thank you for always being honest!!!!!! You will forever have my business and everyone I know I will always send them to your shop!!!!!
I was in need of a check up for my 2011 Nissan Rogue and asked my son regarding this site. The dealerships have always taken care of me and was told to anticipate extensive repair March of this year. I did taken the time to check on the reviews on this place and was most impressed by all the positive reviews. My son and I dropped the car off on a Thursday and I called Friday. My vehicle was reported to be in excellent condition so I was both thrilled and relieved. A special thanks to the owner Jay who was both friendly and professional and to Jason his employee who relayed the results of the check up to me by phone. You now have a new loyal customer. Had some noise coming from my car, turned out to be a quick and easy fix (10 minutes) and the folks here were kind and honest enough to not charge me. Also Google says Jays Auto when the sign on the shop says Raymonds, just as an FYI.

Very knowledgeable and honest guys in the shop, that deliver quality work at a fair price. Had them work on my charger, they were able to diagnose and fix the issues I experienced. They definitely listen to what you have to say about the problem and dont try to talk down to you like other shops, or haggle on the price.

My headlamp bulb blew. I thought I could fix it myself. The YouTube video looked easy. I was able to get the old one out but had trouble getting the new one in. I called the shop and he told me to bring the car right in. He had it fixed in about a minute. I really appreciate the fast service and his friendly manner. I ve been going to Jay s Auto for two years now and will continue to do so.
The BEST car repair place in the area. I know some places can get sketchy about pricing and patronizing about repairs, but these guys are always respectful, transparent, and efficient. If they dont answer the phone right away, its only because they are working so hard. I highly recommend!

I was there for an oil change and tire rotation. Everything went smooth. Wait time was minimal. My vehicle was returned with no oil or grease on the interior.

My car was making a clicking noise and was thinking it was the transmission. Alot of people suggested jays auto repair. Best place ever they found the problem and fixed it and was not bad at all. Took 10 minutes to fix and did not charge me anything. I will keep going there to have my car worked on when needed they are number 1 in my book.

Absolutely love this shop! I have a 2004 Volkswagen, and on 2 different inspections(due to road trips) they found nothing wrong so they charged me nothing. They also got me in rather quickly. Honest shop and not upselling services like most places. Would definitely recommend and will return any time I have an issue.

Are you kidding me with these guys? They diagnosed my truck with a bad radiator, had the radiator there in an hour and turned the truck around by the end of the day! Amazing service, they squeezed me in at 9am this morning after I drove to work and would hear a loud roar underneath my passenger seat. We taken care of right away, lasted about 30 minutes, great affordable price and great convo with the owner. Definitely will be my go to mechanic shop in the Clifton Park area. Location is perfect and not in the middle of ongoing traffic.. TY!

Always polite and the most honest mechanics I and my one daughter have ever dealt with. They will not try to sell you something you do not need even when you go in thinking you may need something in particular. They are a breath of fresh air! I don t often write reviews unless I have an exceptional experience. Although I live in Saratoga and had an existing mechanic in that area, my car broke down in Clifton Park a while back. I was forced to find a place closer than Saratoga and found Jay s on a google search with great reviews. Jay s provided the tow service, got me a quick diagnosis and quote and a price that was about $200 less than I was expecting. I had more car problems recently and didn t think twice of where to take it. Jay remembered me and my car and yet again was able to give me a price that was not inflated with very quick turn around time. Although, I m assuming, he stays constantly busy (the lot is always full when I m there), Jay ALWAYS leaves me with the impression that I am his most important customer of the day and he truly cares about the health of my car, but also me as a person. I am a Saratoga resident, but I will continue to choose to go to Jay s for the best car and mechanical services I have ever experienced.

Jays Auto repair shop is the best in the Capital area. I had a few things that needed to be fixed with my 2011 Honda accord and Jay made sure that he addressed the issues with my car instead of merely replacing parts. He stuck to the timeline mentioned and kept me informed about the repair on a regular basis.He is a man of his words. This place is a hidden gem. His business is mainly through word of mouth and I will recommend them to my friends and family at every given opportunity.

I just purchased a car from someone and they wanted to keep the engine which was fine by me because I needed the body. He took the car to jays to have it pulled. When the car was dropped off it was in good shape aside from fading paint. When they pulled the engine they cracked the windshield and scraped and scratched the engine compartment all to hell straight down to bare metal. Needless to say I AM NOT PLEASED!

I was stuck in Clifton park while I was traveling for work about a week ago. My car started making a horrific noise whenever I pressed the accelerator. Imaging the worst, I quickly googled auto repair shops. Thankfully I found Jays Repair Shop fairly close by. I drove in without calling and found out that they would be closing soon since it was Friday at 4m. It looked like I might be stuck in Albany until I could find someplace to repair it over the weekend. Jay offered to take my car for a drive to see where the sound was coming from. Within 15 minutes he had diagnosed the sound and had my car on the lift for a closer look. He showed me what was going on and fixed it quickly. I could not believe how fast and friendly he was. Best auto repair experience ever!!!! Would recommend to anyone having car issues, big or small! I was on the road in no time and am a very satisfied customer. Thank you, Jay! It is almost impossible to feel good about taking your vehicle to a mechanic. Not anymore. Jay is honest and a remarkably talented mechanic.
Jay did a great job replacing the heater core on my wifes jeep Cherokee. Its a pretty big project and he said it would take a week. Once he got started on it, he decided not to stop and got it done over the weekend, getting her car back on the road in just three days. I couldnt believe it, we were very thankful!
Jay did the replacement on the clutch and axle for our Hyundai Elantra. He beat the price of all his competitors by over $150 and did an amazing job! He did exactly what he said he would do with none of the slimy tricks that some mechanics pull, and he completed the job faster than he even told me he would. I would highly recommend Jays to anyone looking for a mechanic!

5 stars....I had my car in 2 other shops and was told that I needed things that I did not need. The other estimates were for 388.00 and over 500.00 dollars. Jay did the repairs and fixed my car for 67.00 dollars. Thank - you, you made my Thanksgiving, nice to see honesty is still alive. Highly - highly recommend !!!
