This is the second time Ive had employees assist me in planning a trip the first trip I was assisted and received Airline tickets car rental and all Admissions and Extras at Disney World it was so easy. The second time Ive met with the travel agent was for airline tickets, he made it so easy what would have taken me a long time on the computer he did it very quickly and very professionally and very pleasantly. I wont waste my time on the computer again if I want to go somewhere I will make an appointment I have the highest level of AAA membership and it doesnt cost me anything and its just so easy and convenient. The only way I want to plan my trips

The representative who came was very professional. He answered all my questions. He came prepared with his tools, and suggested to me what I needed to do.

Lady was actually sourced from the Albany office via busy phone relay She was helpful finding my annual apartment insurance information and policy I told her I would pay by card exactly on due date and she assured me the policy would be faxed to my Schenectady office. No glitches on mail this year.

Waited 9 hours to have a car towed from one repair shop to another. Luckily I did not have to wait with the car all that time. But I did waste 2 hours of my day waiting there as per instructed from AAA. I called in roughly 1:00 p.m. and was told to go wait and the driver would be there before 3:15 p.m.. It did not get done until 10:00 p.m. after many notifications of it being pushed off. I heard from one AAA employee that if you are sending one from a repair shop its basically low priority, this the updates with later arrival times. I stopped getting notifications after 7:00. I didnt know what the heck was going on with my car. I called back and was talking someone with somebody from a remote location as it was after hours and she was very sweet and understanding and was going to have dispatch call me. That call never happened. The following day I finally got a call from AAA that it was picked up at 10:00 p.m.. It was my worst experience with AAA. Makes you wonder whether getting roadside assistance through your car insurance would be better?

Just came in to get an E-Z pass and I was greeted by Josh he was very friendly and informative. He made the process quick and easy as it should be! Highly recommend Josh if you have any needs when going into AAA in Clifton Park.

I know its been a while, but i have wanted to leave a review do to the great service i received a few months ago. Although i brought it in for one issue.. i was told of concerns regarding a seperate issue. The FACT that i had concerns about the second issue.. EVERYTHING they were telling me was on the mark!! confident in their assessment. I had been concerned with another very local BIG GARRAGE that seemed to fabricate problems with my cars. After the 2nd obvious b.s i knew i had to find a new place, that the GARAGE was taking advantage of me beingva woman.. I now know my instincts were correct and i no longer will take my cars to the other large GARAGE in clifton park. But since AAA has wrked on my stuff .. it feels incredible!!! I just felt theres an honestly about this place. Its not about one mans profit ... but a companies reputation. Ill definately be back!!

If I could do no stars I would!! My kids car flooded during a huge rainstorm. Our street does this with downpours. Could not start the car and new something electrical was wrong. Called AAA and was convinced to have towed here as it would be free and then a discount. The tow driver left in parking lot and didn t tell anyone. Sat there for almost 2 days before I finally was able to talk to someone. Without looking he told me to pay to have it towed to Malta as he wouldn t be able to fix it. That multiple problems could be wrong. He said it would cost be $160 to diagnose and then probably wouldn t be able to fix it. Twice on the phone with him for over 20 mins while he gave me a song and dance and literally told to call my car insurance to see if they would cover the repairs. Called Warren tire down the rd, car towed there, problem diagnosed and fixed. Said it was an easy fix. Will never ever go thru that ever again!!!

I cant not say enough about being a member, its been one of the best birthday gifts to get and to receive. My car is taken care of and the staff is very welcoming. I am never stressed about going there. That is worth every thing!

Asheed towed my car just now- amazing guy. Super professional, efficient and caring. Made sure I held on to the rails, offered to hold my bags for me. He has a positive attitude and just all around great. My experience over the phone with the agent was very to the point and efficient. Asheed was there in 35 minutes! I wasn t even expecting to see him for at least an hour. What a great morning for an otherwise potentially stressful experience!

Well this is one Auto Service place where you dont feel that you are being ripped off every time you go.

Staff very accommodating.

I called to inquire about inspection availability. A rep took my number for someone to return my call which never happened. I went to Hoffmans service nearby and had this completed as a walk-in.

It was incredibly hard to get a tech on the phone. And the lady that does the normal phones has no idea about the shop.

Staff was friendly, polite, courteous, and helpful during my visit.

This AAA service center performed good work on my car in a timely manner, highly recommended

I just went there to put air in my tires, which I did without any problem!

I have to share that I went in for an oil change and inspection. I was under a time constraint, but they assured me that they would be able to get it done in an hour. So I waited. Turns out, my brakes needed work (new discs and rotors!) and the rear brakes were iffy. Plus license plate bulbs burnt. In spite of all that, they did the inspection, all the work, and the complimentary 20 point check within the hour! Amazing work, and they acted like they do that all the time. Great, professional and top notch work!

Weve brought our cars there for all manner of services, but the example that stands out is when our Town & Countrys rack and pinion steering needed repairs. The job was done to our satisfaction. Not long afterward, the new equipment needed to be replaced due to defect, which it was under warranty. More recently, it needed replaced AGAIN, again due to vendor defect (theyve since switched vendors) and it was, still under warranty, free of charge. They are friendly, professional people and we intend to keep coming back.

This AAA location has serviced both of my vehicles since the location opened many years ago. Mark is a great service rep and is a pleasure to work with. He is knowledgeable, straight-forward and friendly. The techs do great work as well, from typical oil changes to sub-frame repairs and everything in between. The service manager Chris is also very helpful and runs a great shop. They are AAA branded but are just as good as any local mechanic and much less expensive than a dealership. Thanks AAA!

Called first thing in the morning to schedule an oil change. Got their answering service and was told someone would call me right back. Not a return call all day!

The service here is great. The employees are respectful of their customers and always professional. I have been here many times and have never had a bad experience. They always answer any questions I have. Most importantly, I trust this business.

Its very clear that auto repair places get a bum deal on Yelp, Google Reviews and other online ratings. You are disproportionately going to hear from the people who have bad experiences there, and just their being their means they are likely to be in a bad mood to start with. Unlike with restaurants, hotels, stores and entertainment/cultural attractions, people arent going to be inclined to speak about good experiences they may have at auto repair places. This is something I am appealing to both Yelp and Google Reviews to redress in some way: Perhaps just putting a disclaimer on the businesses pages explaining to people that these establishments do suffer unfairly from these circumstances, or prorating the numbers slightly to account for it. In the meantime, I will try to do what I can to inject some fairness. I took my Hyundai Sonata to this care center for an all-points check and a tire rotation. It has 138K miles on it, and it has been a little loud lately. I have an upcoming long trip and I am concerned about the cars longevity. I waited in the ultra-comfortable waiting area which is about as comfortable as my home. There is a TV, desk computer, free coffee/tea and bottled water, and quite a variety of magazine. Of course every imaginable AAA publication is just the next room over. The tires did not need replacing and only one major problem was found in the diagnostic: The rear brake fluid looked like it was still the original, and the rear brakes themselves would need replacement very soon. This made sense, as I had never had the rear brakes repaired in the time I had owned the car. I had them change the fluid and give me an estimate on the additional repairs. The overall time in the lounge waiting area was about 90 minutes. I took the estimate to Trevs Automotive and had them offer me one as well. They could do it for about 15% less so I scheduled the repair with them. Based on this experience, auto repair businesses are actually performing quite satisfactorily. The service at the AAA center was very good, they did not try to oversell me, and they enabled me to make an informed choice on the additional, more costly expenses. They earn 4 stars, and Trevs, who already has 4, may get a 5. (But they should still upgrade their waiting room!)

I totally trust AAA Clifton Park. Ive recommended them to others in the area. When other places have tried telling me I need something...they will say no it does not. I have caught other places trying to rip me off, but not AAA! Friendly, clean and reliable.

I have an old vw that has been temperamental for the past three months & these guys have been awesome! They have been super helpful & respectful & the service is pretty quick from what I ve dealt with at previous places. I definitely plan on going to them in the future!

We stopped by to have a tire plugged from a nail. Luckily it was a slow day and we went right in. Very clean facility and the staff are very nice and attentive. They did a complimentary inspection on the vehicle and glad they did. Found an undersized air filter that was installed elsewhere. Upon look back at my records, the filter was installed elsewhere in January 2018. Since then, the car has been through a dealership and other facilities and nobody caught the wrong filter. For AAA to find it speaks volumes as it shows they really looked at everything. Thank you!

I brought my vehicle at this AAA automotive / travel center for an inspection which I Scheduled in advance by phone. The Manager, Christopher Chevalier greeted me upon arriving and proceeded to arrange for my vehicle s inspection. I was directed to the very comfortable lounge area that had complimentary coffee, and PC stations, plenty of reading material and which had large windows overlooking the car bays where I could see what work was occurring with my vehicle. The level of professionalism of the staff, a lounge to rival any new care dealership and the fact that it s a AAA owned facility gave me lots of confidence that I again thought to use this facility to work on my car. I will be back!

I brought my truck in for an oil change and also a concern regarding an unusual clunk in the back of the truck. After doing an overall check of the vehicle they found an issue with the rear brakes. They also checked the joints and found no issue. When they took the truck out for the road check they noticed the clunk I had discussed and traced the issue to a bad.motor mount. The mechanic knew I had a concern and continued to look for the issue, finding and fixing it.

The employees here are great! Very friendly, quickly attentive, helpful. The waiting area was nice and clean, offer cold water, tea, and coffee. Highly recommend!

Good repairs done quickly and at a decent price, usually cheaper than a dealer. Free wifi, water and TV in the waiting area. I had one problem with a patched tire and they were able to fix it quickly and at no extra charge. Warranty of 2 years or x miles on the repairs.

Did a alignment on my car in this place.Do yourself a favor and go to different more reputable place,they told a have bad tires so my alignment wont be good,but i just got 4 brand new tires.I wasted almost 3 hours and ive been told there is nothing they can do.Theyve been hiding behind manufacturers specs.Wow.(and they highly overpriced) one lady was waiting an hour and a half for oil change.And as a bonus my car smelled like cigarette, go figure.

Waiting time is always longer or not what they tell you its going to be. The mechanics never come out to tell you or show you whats wrong w/your car,they have the guy @ the desk tell you when its done & ready to pay. Last time I was there I asked to have my tire checked for slow leak & he proceeded to tell me that it would be an hour to an hour&half wait that didnt include to look at it. Wow! So I was told to use their air pump&to keep an eye on it then call for an appointment if need be.

They are always nice here. Woman friendly. They dont talk down to you here.

Ive been inundated for months with ads and offers to come to this place for auto maintenance, and as a longtime satisfied Jiffy Lube customer I was hesitant to give it a try. However, Im also a longtime AAA member and figured I would give their place a try this time. Big mistake! Absolutely nowhere on any of the dozens of ads and mail offers that I have received is there ANY indication that appointments are necessary or even recommended, and I can find no indication of this on their website. That said, I took the plunge and headed to this place today (during nonpeak hours, i.e. at 2:30pm) and guess what I find out - no appointment, too bad! And to make matters worse, they dont even have availability for over a week! Look guys, I get that with the car service business appointments are often necessary, but if youre going to fill my mailbox with annoying ad offers over and over again, how about making this fact CLEAR? Had I known about the need for an appointment, I would have known not to waste my time with going in unannounced! Oh, and one more thing - when I say Ive been a longtime AAA member but Im coming to your establishment for the first time, how about having a service guy who greets me with a smile? It doesnt take a whole lot of effort. Oh well, back to Jiffy Lube for me (where I always get a nice greeting and great service BTW). * UPDATE * The General Manager of this facility, Joel, reached out to me today in a sincere effort to try and make up for the poor experience I had as noted above and that effort alone has caused me to change my review and give this place another chance. It is this type of response that helps me believe that this facility does honestly still care about its customers (both current and future) and gives me hope that it will ultimately live up to the fine AAA name that is attached to it. I will further revise my review once I come in as planned (although it might still be several weeks before that happens). Thanks so much in the meantime, Joel!
