Target in Clifton Park

Always looking like everybody not merchandise every time I go in there its messy and dirty.

**Edit to my previous 5 star review. ** I no longer look forward to my trips to Target. The customer service over all has gone down the drain. Staff are generally unprofessional and unknowledgable. The store is usually a mess with items not where they belong. Drive up has become a nightmare. More often than not, the fridges are full so you cant order, orders are wrong or missing items. Items are marked out of stock, on 2 occasions I walked in and found said out of stock items within minutes of receiving out of stock notification. Twice in the last week I have had missing items. So I now have to park, go in and deal with lousy customer service and then shop for the item myself, defeating the purpose of drive up. Today I will have to go back, a 20 minute drive for an item missing. Nobody answers the phone and when they do its a teenager who 1, doesnt care and 2 has no clue. This location is by far the worse Ive shopped and I will go out of my way to shop other locations when possible. To say I am no longer a loyal, happy customer is an understatement. I have always been a loyal, happy customer of Target. I have recently used the drive up service and have been pleased. While I cant wait to get into the store to shop and browse again, it is nice to know that I can pick up items quickly without going in. My interactions with team members have been smooth and pleasant and usually within a minute or two of me parking they are out with my order.

There are often sale items out of stock for the entire length of the sale. It also seems that common clothing and shoes sizes are shipped in low quantity and never restocked. The poor stocking of this store has been going on for years. Lets add a limit of 10 items to self check out, but only 1 cashier during peak times. I feel terrible for the front end staff at this store. They never look happy anymore. I am sure they are exhausted and drained from listening to customers complaining about waiting so long. Add on that the can and bottle recycling is never open making it impossible to get can deposits back on drinks purchased here but not sold at other super markets. I will travel to other Targets when I can. Do better CP Target store management.

Whoever thought it would be a great idea to close down self check and not staff the checklanes properly should be fired. Had to wait almost 10 minutes to purchase one item. If the item wasn t something I needed I would ve walked right out

Great costumer service, good prices, lots of specials and lots of choices

The pickup of the product went smoothy and even loaded into my car for me. The product was also easy to put together and I had no issues at all. Took only an hour to assemble both storage units. sturdy and looks great in my walk-in closet! Thanks so much!

I was greeted by a smile, warm and friendly young lady when I walked in to pick up an on line order. The entire experience was good but I was blown away to see someone actually look up, smile and ask me if they could help me and mean it. It shouldn t be a surprise but in this day an age it it was. Well done to who ever hired this person!!!!

The store was organized and clean considering they are remodeling. They had signs to point to the new locations of products and employees throughout the store to help customers find the needed products. I even saw multiple employees bringing customers to products. Overall great experience.

This target is nice and adequately clean. However, compared to other targets I m not the biggest fan of how the store is organizational wise. As well, if going to this location after a certain time no registers will be open even with the lines being incredibly long.

What s the deal with having no cashiers and huge lines?

Not one register was open tonight and the self checkout was a mile long. Big waste of time. I left the cart and went home.

Targets new return policy has proven quite challenging, especially when dealing with returns lacking a receipt. The $100 limit tied to your ID appears rather inflexible, and it appears Target may lack an effective tracking system. In a specific incident, my husband encountered an issue where his ID showed an exceeded amount for a mere $20 return. Fortunately, Manager Ryan was exceptional in resolving this issue. However, during this visit, I faced an extended wait at the front of the return section, with staff seemingly unavailable. To my disappointment, a different manager, Rebecca, emerged from the back while chewing on food. This was concerning, as it raised questions about sanitary handling of merchandise. Regrettably, Rebecca did not provide the same level of assistance as Ryan did during our last encounter. She explained the return procedure but did not attempt to explore potential solutions, leaving me feeling frustrated. Its imperative for Target to recognize and appreciate managers like Ryan, who consistently go above and beyond to assist customers. Simultaneously, theres a need to train other managers, like Rebecca, to be more proactive in aiding customers, including making necessary phone calls. Considering all these factors, I believe customers might want to explore alternative shopping destinations. Target should prioritize enhancing its management and the return process to make procedures like this easier. This not only benefits customers but also ensures that they can swiftly reinvest their money back into the store, ultimately enhancing the overall shopping experience.

I havent been shopping in the store in years due to then covid and now personal reasons, so there were many changes to the layout that made it an adjustment for me to find what I was looking for when I went in. Also, the prices seemed higher to me than what I was expecting, but the overall shopping experience was not bad. There were only 2 registers open, other than self-help, and the wait in line was fairly quick. Parking was plentiful and I was able to park close to the entrance. I probably wont be going back there, but again, its my personal reasons and nothing to do with my shopping experience.

Its target nothing really to say. But I can tell you this: The ultra beauty section in the store does over price. Ive been using clinique since 1997. You better off going to Macys, Bascov, or their website. You get better sales and free extra stuff.

Either hire employees or add more self checkout registers. Its not that hard.

Theyve changed the stores layout and the clothing sections have clothes strewn about and unkempt. I was there shortly after opening.

I needed headphones replaced that I bought and got the protection plan on. So I had called to ask if I could get them replaced and I was told that electronics were understaffed and couldnt assist me at this time, so I asked if it would br easier if I came in person and I was told it would be. So I drove up to clifton park from albany only to be told that there was nothing that could be done. If that was the case why wasnt I told this over the phone? I wasted an hour going there and back.

Give Seana a raise- she went above and beyond to help me find an item I ordered (blue Stanley 40oz) that pickup marked as out of stock. It was on a pallet in aisle she unboxed and gave it to me. Thankful because this trip was out of the way. Thanks again!

Love Target, but not in Clifton Park. Because in this store that there is always a pogrom. Everything is scattered, and a lot just lies on the floor. It is impossible to find the size because it does not hang in place. I recently placed an order online and received two different colored sneakers and had to return to exchange them. Great staff, but they dont do their job.

Disgusted. How foul to call the cops on a child. I would give this store 0 stars if I could. How could you see a child in a store and no matter what they were doing, call the cops on them. Traumatic and disgusting to not only do this to any child but a black and autistic child. Cops are well known for not knowing how to handle disabled people as well as act too forcefully and violently towards black people. Do not go to this store for your safety and if you ve ever cared about disabled people, black people or kids at all.

The managers are racist and rude to autistic children. False accusations because black children were trying to shop. A lot of the Targets are this way, but this event was horrible.

One of the better Targets in the area. Clean and organized store. Staff is good. Always nice products, especially when you are looking to buy someone a gift.

I used to frequent this target but I will never again feel safe after knowing the staff and manager racially profiled an autistic child and stood by as police brutalized the child. All with no apparent reason to even call the cops. DURING AUTISM AWARENESS MONTH. Horrible manager, horrible store. Avoid this Target and keep special needs children safe.

The security team should be ashamed of themselves, as should everyone associated with this team. They like to harass teens with disabilities.

I frequently use curbside pickup to shop at target. Lately, my items have been crushed and broken open as if employees were perhaps playing a football game with them. Very disappointed and frustrated. I did not Even receive an apology.

I like going to this Target but I always seem to get caught in a massive line unfortunately. The clothing section always seems to be in some kind of disarray but it is a clean store overall.

Poor timing to stock shelves with the many boxes of product out. Employees also everywhere that shoppers like to go. I understand that its the holiday season. Is there another time this can be done.

Return Christmas lights that I bought full price was refunded the on sale price that they currently are... just got ripped off 20 bucks.

I was at Target tonight and my son was about to have a huge temper tantrum because he wanted a Mario doll. I tried explaining to him that his birthday is coming up in a few days and he will get gifts on his birthday. He continued to fuss and was about to blow when a sales lady came over and told him she was talking to the birthday fairy, who told her he would be getting some gifts in a couple of days for his birthday, but he would have to wait. She spent 5 minutes talking to him and calmed him down. She stopped his temper tantrum. I forgot to get her name, but I really appreciated what she did. She was very helpful and kind.

Fast service to curbside. She skipped all the bs, put it in my trunk, closed the trunk, and I was on my way. Employees seem to be customer-oriented, as opposed to Walmart (the dregs of humanity). Also, Target seems to stock unusual items that others dont. I frequently find grocery/household items there that I couldnt find anywhere else.

Tried calling several times during regular hours today and it just abruptly hung up on me each time no matter the choice or department I tried to contact.

Beware, this store doesnt require customers to wear face masks. Avoid shopping here to protect your health. Wish I didnt have to give it a star to post.

I was EXTREMELY disappointed at the unusually low stock in nearly every department. Womens activewear racks were nearly empty, as was the mens department, shoes, sleepwear and pet supplies. After two months into the Pandemic, Target STILL HAS NO DISINFECTING WIPES on store shelves. The Up&UP cleaning supplies are never in-stock. VERY disappointing visit to a store I used to consider top on my list.

we came in to target tp buy a vacuum, they were sold out of it, and they were not sure when they were getting it back in. We found another one that was not on sale, and I looked up the price on amazon. They had it $30.00 cheaper. I went to a front end manager and explained it to them, and showed them the amazon add. They price matched amazon. I was very impressed, you kept the sale in house and I was able to purchase it from you on the spot. I did not even know that you price matched on things like that.

Target is an excellent store for general merchandise and food.

Selection of items available has improved, to include hand sanitizers, disinfectant wipes and paper products.

This location has turned into a dumpster. Items arent in stock for extensive periods of time and customer service has become terrible. Monday at 7pm there were at least 20 people waiting for the self check-out. They have become way too reliant on self check-out and arent staffing properly forcing longer transactions to those lines.

Consistent quality customer service.

So quick and easy, employees are so wonderful and kind. Such a lifesaver when my kids are home and I dont want to bring them thru a store. So grateful for this service

They always have what I need

Be careful when buying food here. On multiple occasions, we found expired food on the shelves, meat with no dates printed at all, and one item that had expired in 2019!!! I will only buy frozen items here and go to Market 32 for everything else. This Clifton Park store is the only Target that sketches us out. Thumbs way down.

I use to consider Target one of the safer places to go during these times but that has slowly faded away. It didn t happen all at once but slowly they let their guard down and just don t care about their own rules. Most recent visit I saw several people without masks and their employees saying absolutely nothing even when I as well as other shoppers pointed it out. Basically ignored us. I mean it s fine as it s their store but we will not be going there anymore. I have a family to protect. Strictly Amazon ordering now. A friend shared the same experience in regards to the Wilton store.

An associate asked the line if there was any pickup. They came to me, checked my order and brought it within minutes.

My Amazon Fire stick stopped working. I ordered another on the Target app & picked it up within a few hours. Great customer service. They dont jerk you around like some other places.

Hard to beat Targets selection and prices.

This Target is one of the better ones I ve been in. The bathrooms are almost never dirty, the Starbucks area is clean and well stocked, and compared to most stores the amount of clutter in the aisles is pretty low. The staff is not the best with customer service though. The people who ve been working there a while are typically rude while the seasonal employees are the nicer ones. Clearly they must treat their staff well, though, because the turnover is very low (from the looks of it). The self checkout stations work without problems 8 out of 10 times. The biggest downfalls of the store are the clothing areas and the aisle number system. The clothing areas are usually in disarray with products all over the place and the dressing rooms are equally as messy. Because most of the aisles don t have numbers on them, using the app to find a product you need is just about impossible.

I love Target but hate the long lines at check out. It has gotten worse over the last few months.

This is a very nice Target store, it was remodeled recently which made the experience even better. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Walked into electronics tonight to buy a cell phone and there were three guys standing behind the counter having a conversation and unaware that there were customers there that wanted to buy things....not really sure why target even has an electronics dept if theyre not interested in selling anything

They had the Item ready in about 15 minutes from putting in the order and when I went to pick up the item the sales person was very friendly and helpful. My item was ready when I got there and everything was completed within 5 minutes. Awesome job by Target

Found Everything I needed at a great price.

I used their order online pickup same day feature. I was highly disappointed. Upon arrival to the store the employee watched as I stood there, because her phone was more important. After about a minute of staring at their red walls she decided to help. I told her I had 3 or 4 orders and I asked numerous times if I had gotten everything. When I got to my car i noticed i was missing one of the most important items. So I went back inside and noticed her name tag said shes a trainer. So I guess target teaches their employees to use their cellphones and to not double check the accuracy of orders. Walmart is right down the road for cheaper prices my bad for giving target a shot.
