Mike and Randy were great. Randy made sure I always had everything I needed when I came downstairs. Mike was even running back and forth between filling up breakfast and answering calls. They both greeted me and said goodbye everytime. Excellent service. There was also a girl working during the night shift that kindly got me a bottle of water when I was thirsty so I didn t have to leave. The rooms were clean however if I m going to point out a couple things a few key spots like the faucet spout were dirty and the toilet made a loud whistling noise for a solid minute after each flush. I came for a work trip for 2 days and if I had to stay here again I wouldn t mind it.

Nice tucked away spot next to a whole shopping mall for all sorts of shopping needs. Other hotels around as well. IHop in the same parking lot but I didnt go eat there as it seemed pretty vacant, there were a few people there at times but not many that Ive seen. The hotel room Ive been in could use some fixing here and there, mainly the bathroom. Other then that, my 2 night stay has been nice, employees were wonderful especially randy. I had stayed here because my truck was being fixed at a repair shop so I stayed the first night but then sat in the lobby because I thought the truck would be done that day and randy kept offering to me if I needed any water, food and such. Much appreciated to this staff. Nearby activities: Shopping plaza nearby Walkability: I enjoy walking so I was willing to walk a little to get to the shopping plaza and food places

Hotel and rooms ok For some reason reception called us in middle of the night ( 0300) to check our names . Why nobody could tell us Food and drinks: Breakfast was very minimal No plates left basically some toast and jam and coffee

This is the dirtiest hotel I have ever seen in my life. There were crumbs on the carpet that stuck to your feet. The headboard was covered in dust and grease. The bathtub had strange things floating in it, like debris and the bathroom walls were covered in stains, with the corners filled with dirt, hair, and spider webs. The bedspread was stained. In short, it was disgusting, and it made me feel really uncomfortable.

This hotel was awesome it had a nice room with what is a good looking TV and really comfy beds and also had really good customer service that was nice to us because we are two minutes late for check out and it was next to IHOP I will definitely stay here again.

Erin was a large part of our great experience. Walkability: Various food options and such nearby. An associate from the cleaning crew recommended a little Chinese restaurant not even a five minute walk away and told us also about the gas station and other eatery options. Food and drinks: The staff helped us find some good spots to get a bit to eat and was just really helpful with our needs for it.

All good except for loud constant noise from electrical unit in back parking lot

This was a one night stay and even though the tv did not work in our room they quickly took care of us and moved us to another room. They were very friendly from the front lobby to the maintenance guy and the breakfast attendant I would stay here again everything was very clean and it was convenient to store s restaurants and the highway

Hotels complain that theyre losing a lot of business to the Airbnb. How can a hotel room on a two-night stay not get a cleaning. Im staying at a Best Western doesnt matter how I booked my room. Why do I not get points. Best Western support tried to help me and they said they cant find my booking with all the information I gave them. I feel bad for the owner of this hotel but Best Western will never be a choice again ever

Hair on towels, toothpaste on the sink, used travel sized hand cream in bathroom, shower head leaking from connection, water gushed from the shower diverter (so no water pressure from the shower head). Upon checkin, curt staff, that did not tell anything about the hotel amenities, which caused us to miss breakfast.

Older place but has a very nice staff. Rooms are dated but have good water pressure, mini fridge and microwave.

Was given a dirty room when I checked in, and immediately came back but had to wait again while they checked in someone else. I was given a room on the second floor and as I was climbing the stairs, noticed that the carpet on the steps was filthy and covered in crumbs. Same for the hallway carpet. Room needs a good deep clean. Not sure how this place has 4.1 stars.

A little hard to find at night, but excellent service and clean rooms. I do recommend bringing your swimsuit for the pool.

I am in the middle of having the worst BW experience I ever had...im 75 with a walking cane..1015 pm Im tired I just want to watch some TV and relax..maybe stay 2 or 3 days to recover from helping my grandson move..rm 138..I unload my car...going to heat some soup,watch a movie..opps TV says no signal..I walk to the clerk who changes the battery in the remote..comes to room...slaps the base of TV a couple time .she says maintenance will be in st midnight...finally gives up finds me another room close we check the TV..it come on ny1...I unpack my cooler heat some soup run a tub with epson salts move my car sit down to eat and watch a movie..oops the remote channel change does not work..I get dressed its 11pm now...the desk girl gives me a key to the 138 so I can grab the first remote with new battery and try that cause busy with another customer..it doesnt work..I call to tell her hoping the maintence man has arrived and LOUIS answers and say all he can do. Is let me pack up empty fridge drain the tub and get the cart again with my cane and try 116 ..its 1140pm..i did not move but got dressed to meet LOUIS (no last name. No title..are you the manager I asked. He said Im not going to tell you that..its 1150..im looking at a black screen in my second room..I wont be staying another night in any room..I wont come back with my grandkids this weekend..im disappointed and out 119 dollars...the lack of care made me cry..this hotel needs help I will be checking out the competition if c orpoate cares...a disappointed customer..

Too little shampoo and conditioner

The front desk staff was very nice but unfortunately we were checked into a dirty room. We were switched to a clean room. Beds were made but it needed a serious deep clean. The glass slider was very dirty. Cigarette butts outside door on ground. Grime on walls, lamps, headboard, furniture. Pool was nice but very warm. Hot tub was nice and hot.

Cons Two external entrance doors that I used had the key card equipment however they were both either broken or unlocked because you could enter without a key Pool and jacuzzi out of order but that wasnt disclosed before I booked Asked for an upgrade for spa tub room but was told everything is booked Checked online and showed 2 Queen Spa rooms available to book Checked my room -tub was dirty -smelled like cigarette smoke Went back to front desk and showed them the online availability and pictures of my tub They were able to move me to a Queen Spa room buttttt it didnt have a drain stopper to actually use the spa tub Anddddd front desk couldnt help, they said all rooms full and no maintenance person available I asked for tape and taped the drain.... It kindaaaa worked Pros Staff was always polite and as helpful as it seemed they could be My second room didnt smell like smoke and was fine except for the tub drain stopper missing Good location First room I booked (King) was only around $130 after taxes Overall I think your experience will very greatly depending on your room, and if the pool and jacuzzi were open I think Id have been satisfied with the stay. If the pool and jacuzzi were open and both of my rooms werent messed up Id give it 4 out of 5, but since that wasnt the case I have to give it 1 out of 5.

Staff were amazing, only issue was the roll away bed was absolutely horrible and falling apart. The pool was clean and well maintained. Best part was the sliding glass doors on the bottom floor rooms, making loading and unloading so much easier.

Hotel pool that was out of service! No advance notice. When we complained on the spot, the staff lied and said we had already checked in for several hours and a cancellation is no longer possible. We had just been in the room for 30 minutes and changed into bathing suits. Service was a no go. Ive never been lied to by an employee like this and its not a Best Western standard and Best Western should be ashamed of something like that. The internet says the pool was closed 7 months ago. But no information on booking or after booking. The hotel is very, very old! At breakfast we and everything we ate for breakfast were closely watched by an elderly lady. She was on the staff. Rooms: The hotel is very old.

We paid a reasonably high rate for this Beware rating on Site are inaccurate and cant be open. What a surprise! Got to hotel which looks like a motel with no elevator and of course we were given a second floor room way at the end of the hall. When we saw the room and no elevator we determined another room should be requested especially since my daughter had knee problems. When I called the front desk to request another room based on health they said, No. No rooms are available, since they were all booked up. We found it HARD TO BELIEVE, since the halls were empty and the free breakfast had only a couple of people. All the room doors had no smoking signs but the overwhelming smell of smoke in the halls was awful. The bathroom vanity was so low it was apparently wheelchair accessible(on the second floor w/no elevator?), the toilet seat was stained and when we tried to take a shower we had to call room service to get the water started. The fixture had to be forced out of the wall with two hands and a strong back.(not exaggerating) The room curtain hung all wrong.We immediate checked for bedbugs. Fortunately that came up okay. Reluctantly we went forward. They advertised the pool which had a jacuzzi. Looked appeared nice so we went in. The water was ice cold and the jacuzzi was not on,so we asked the front desk if they could turn it on. They said, NY state banned them so they could not put it on . Sounded fishy, so we checked online. This was NOT TRUE and we even called other area hotels, we secured one and enjoyed the comfort of a nice hot tub and tempered pool. Bad enough the accommodations were awful but to be lied to time and time again was insult to injury. ~Be warned!~

This is a great hotel its got a Beautiful interior and a gorgeous pool. The pool is not a heated pool so it was freezing when we went to try and swim though. The room service when they came through all they did was throw the bed back together and that was it. They didnt replace towels or take the old ones. The two queen beds we reserved were definitely not queens they were pretty small but we worked with it. The breakfast isnt horrible just a simple breakfast but Id probably just go grab breakfast if I had time. The pancake machine was cool though. Was put into this hotel last minute via work. Checked in to find our toilet wouldn t flush & the tv didn t work. Asked for it to be fixed and they did nothing. The room & hallways reeked of smoke. As someone allergic to smoke this is problematic. Stains on the bedspread and the patio door wasn t locked or jammed. Area is great and has a lot of food options but not a lot of sidewalks. We ended up showering and staying out on our tour bus in the parking lot.

This hotel is absolutely the worst hotel I ve EVER experienced . Bedbugs and Roaches were not supposed to be included with my stay. I ve had to switch rooms twice due to infestations. As for the front desk..When I asked for my rooms to be cleaned I was ignored for days at a time, I was stuck there for 2 WEEKS! There was blood stains on my decorative bed topper as well as my sheet, It was very loud I couldn t relax. pillows appeared to be slept on / re-used. Shower curtains along with rooms appeared to be moldy. YES! the breakfast was terrible, the food was plain mold as well. And to top it off, I ve watched multiple housekeepers remake beds with dirty sheets, some were from previous guests. And the overall service was absolutely disgraceful. If I could I d rate a zero. P.S. the ac does work either.

Do not stay at this hotel. Check-in is at 3:00 told they didnt have rooms ready due to no linen come back at 4:00 you might be able to check in. Staff was rude and not accommodating. Went in to use public rest room, two housekeeping carts sitting unused in the hall full of linen!!! Booked 2 queen beds, got 2 full beds that were just thrown together. Sunflower seeds that were spit out by previous guest all over the floor, no toilet paper. Towels had been previously used. This place is disgusting. You would think Best Western would be ashamed to have owners like this ruining their name. That was my last stay at a Best Western Rooms: Filthy, they dont vacuum or pick anything up from previous guest

Filthy rooms! Smelled horrible like smoke. I refused to shower because of how gross the bathroom was. You could hear everything from the rooms around us. We stayed in a block of rooms and one of the couples room had an opened bar of soap in the shower full of hair. I slept with my clothes and socks on and left as soon as we woke up. Yuck!

No elevator. Hard bringing heavy siit cases up and down the stairs. Breakfast menu was the same each day over the 4 days we were there, scrambled eggs and sausage, no bacon as advertised. Why not have 2 queen beds in 272. 2 full size is kind of silly. Location was great. Indoor pool looked good. Lots of stores and restaurants close by.

You guys STILL have the cat down there After stating she didn t know where the cat was I was very upset even if the cat wasn t there, it s still an invasion of privacy that we had to pay $35 For a late check out at 3 o clock and we got there at 1:30 Only to find the door open with an extremely rude service cleaning lady never again if I could rate this place zero stars definitely would Absolutely awful let alone there was a crack in the toilet, which could cut somebody never again. and on top of all that our stuff was stolen worst experience of my life and a huge invasion of privacy

Our room was supposed to have a hot tub, it was old and jets didnt work. The pool was closed for repairs. The place needs updated. They gave us a break on the room and BWs typically have breakfast, this one did not. The person working the desk was too new to be working alone and there was NO ELEVATOR!

I had a great experience. I booked a single king room for a reasonable rate and when I got there it included a whirlpool tub which was absolutely lovely. Didnt use the pool but it looked very nice. Room was clean and accessible, service was good, and there was high value for the price. Only low point was the weak breakfast, but there is an IHOP on the same property so not so bad.

Its close to my home, great rates, shopping, restaurants and entertainment VERY close to hotel. We go there often to spend time together. Did I mention the indoor pool, some rooms have hot tubs, the 1st floor rooms have little patios-the 2nd floor has balconies and I recently discovered they also have smoking rooms. Well. I didn t actually get to stay there. We were driving through from Maine to Georgia and needed a place to stay. So I made a reservation at 3:00am. About an hour later I showed up and went to check in and my reservation was moved to the following night because I didn t show up before midnight. It s a little confusing to me because I made the reservation 3 hours after midnight. So I had to cancel that reservation through Orbitz. The person at the front desk scheduled me as a walk in. Well apparently some of the employees do not check people in? They had 2 vacant rooms, but those rooms had actually been assigned to people, but it wasn t in the system. So I opened the room door and the chain lock in the door kept me from opening it up on a couple that was sound asleep. I felt awful. The person at the front desk apologized and went to check the other available room to be sure it was empty. It was NOT empty. So the person had to embarrassingly say they were full. It s not the persons fault, but what the heck? Check in all the customers so your guests don t have to deal with that.

The staff was friendly. The pool looked nice (though the hot tub was closed). Thats where the positives stop. The room smelled like pot/smoke. Humidity was uncontrollable. Bed sheets and towels were old and crunchy feeling. Appliances were old, worn, rusty, and thhe outlets on the nightstand lamps were unusable. There were gnats flying around, and ants on the bathroom floor. There were what appeared to be small blood spots from bugs inside one of the nightstand lamps. The closet door constantly came out of the track. Aside from the disgusting room, breakfast was mediocre at best. Runny eggs. Half cooked bacon. And clearly cost savings was made on the quality level of other items. When we told the staff about the issues, all we got was a, Oh. Sorry to hear that. Will definitely NOT be staying here next time. Spend a little more and got to ANY of the other hotels within 5 minutes of this place.

Why can t you give no stars? What a dump! 4 night stay and the room was never cleaned. When I asked the front desk for clean washcloths she handed me hand towels and said Use these. They work just as good . Stained, falling tiles in the bathroom ceiling. Barely a trickle from the sink faucet. Gnats in the bathroom. TV did not work. Fire alarm (false alarm) went off in the middle of the night.

One of the scariest things that has ever happened to me at a hotel. When I was sleeping, they gave someone else a key to my room. I m sure it was mistake but talk about a scary experience for a single woman to experience. When I brought it up to the guy at the front desk the next morning, he didn t say much other than it wasn t him who was working.

We were pleased with our stay. The breakfasts were well received! There choices were more than adequate. The automatic pancake machine was great! The pancakes were not great, but were accepacceptable. The danish were great. the bacon was excellent. The eggs tasted Ike they were made from some kind of mix, and had a strange texture. The lady that made up the room did a great job!

My favorite hotel!! Had been since I was a kid. They have a great pool, their jacuzzi in the pool room is cold but I have no complaints. Amazing hotel! Very clean rooms and very spacious, beautiful place.

Our room needed a lot of work. The handle on the toilet was broken and if you were not very careful could (and did) cut your hand. The bathtub faucet dripped loudly - we had to close the bathroom door to keep it from bothering us while sleeping. The walls were very thin and we could hear the people next door all night - fortunately we carry ear plugs. There were some stains on the sheets and the fitted sheet did not fit and came off during the night. One of the washcloths was stained with ?? something. Overall it was not really clean. They did not thank us for being a gold member nor even welcome us when we came in. This place is not up to the standards we have come to expect from a Best Western - it is our place of choice and weve spent a lot of nights at them. Their Best Western name should be taken away.

The place was old and dated. Our room stank of smoke. I didnt even want to touch the carpet with my barefoot. The only good thing about this hotel is that we got a great parking spot right outside the sliding glass door. We stayed one night.

Coffee was available at all times, breakfast had cold and hot items, housekeeping cleaned the room nicely. They are currently renovating and it will be very nice when done.

Outdated

Flight got delayed for hours, causing all hotels by the airport to not be able to book us due to not taking reservations after 3am. We got to the hotel at 5am. The guy at the front desk hooked us up with the ability to stay way past check out if necessary. The room was really clean. Only issue was that we got a room with one bed thinking it would be a king sized bed or at least a queen. We received a full size bed, which wasn t too big of a deal. But after such a long travel day, my spouse and I weren t really in a snuggly mood. There was also a lot of construction going on outside our window, which woke me up. The main entrance was closed, requiring entrance be made from side doors. There were several doors in the hallways, that all needed to be manually opened in order to get to the main entrance. Which again, wasn t very fun at 5am with 3 large suitcases. There was also no elevator. But overall, I m giving 4 stars because the room was clean and they are obviously doing a major remodel, which will only make this place better.

Was very disappointed! I booked on the morning of staying. Was never told the hotels advertised pool was not in service. Also the main area was under heavy construction, which made it difficult to check in a night since the front doors were blocked off. The key cars frequently did not work on the outside doors which was nerve racking and annoying since it s winter. Then no management was available all weekend to speak with til 11p on Sunday night.

Ive stayed in this best western over 120 days throughout 2021/2022. The hotel is dated but the staff is amazing, they will try the best they can to solve your issues. Ac/heat worked. The 2nd floor balconys were fun. Beds were comfortable. Fridges worked. Hot showers any time of the day. It seems to be a workers hotel during the week which isnt an issue with me. I worked overnights so got back at 6am and had no issues sleeping while others were getting up/checking out/ living there lifes. Back side is kinda close to the highway but the noise isnt a concern. One of the doors on the outside was inconsistent with working but never was an issue. Building is secured if you dont have a room key you must walk thru the front lobby to enter. I Would/Will stay here again the value is outstanding and its close to a grocery store/numerous restaurants. WIFI/ethernet ports ALWAYS worked for you buisness folk Nearby activities: Peddlers / La Fiesta / skip dunking and try Uncommon Grounds for coffee

Very clean, decent room. Enjoyed the jetted bathtub. One night, the people above us were moving furniture at 12:30/1:00. I made a call to the office and the employee immediately contacted the guests above and the noise stopped. The immediate concern to correct this issue was very appreciated. We would certainly stay there again (and hopefully next time the beautiful pool area will be open)

Very disappointed in this hotel. Iam a gold member. We checked in on a Saturday and left Monday. They lied to me about having no balconys and moved me from a King suite to a normal room . Bit never gave me any money back. Would never stay here again

If youre looking for a hotel with upgraded rooms this is not the place. All of the fixtures in the room are from the early 80s definitely needs an upgrade.

Aside for the accommodating and friendly front-desk worker, our experience was negative. The room they put us in had an ant infestation and other bugs crawling around in the bathroom as well as on the nightstands and TV stand. It seemed dirty and not well-kept, unfortunately. Edit: I am increasing my rating due to the manager going above and beyond to reach out and financially accommodate us for the original negative experience we had. Very professional and caring. Arrived at this Best Western in the late evening/early morning hours after having booked and prepaid for a room on Expedia. My family was tired after a cross country flight and a four-hour drive. We were looking forward to getting a good night s sleep before starting our vacation the following day. When I went to the front desk to check in, I was told that the hotel was sold out and no rooms were available. I explained that I had prepaid, and that Expedia still showed plenty of availability at the hotel, even at that hour. She just shrugged and said they do it all the time. I asked if she could refund my money. She said that the books were closed for the day and I had to take it up with Expedia. After driving to 5 different hotels, I finally found a place at 3 am with availability for myself, my wife, and daughter. The next morning, rather than starting our long-planned vacation, I spent 3 hours on the phone with multiple customer service reps at Expedia trying to get a refund for the room that was double booked. I think this hotel has a little side hustle going by double booking their rooms. They get the money, and then put it on the customer to jump through a bunch of impossible hoops to get a refund. All I can say is I will not be staying at a Best Western again any time soon.

We stay at this hotel every year as our rest location for the horse races at Saratoga Race track which is north of here. Rates are reasonable and the folks are always very pleasant and helpful. Been coming here over 20 years. Good location for the drive to the track and many near-by restaurants to use.

Extremely noisy rooms due to traffic from highway, had to sleep with pillow over my head. The entire place smelled of cigarette smoke.

We stayed at the Clifton Park, NY Best Western last weekend for a two night stay. They did have a king room with jetted tub upon request when I booked the reservation. Negatives: The room was small for being a king room. Outdated furniture and decor. Lots of dust on lamps, tables, headboard. Our comforter had a stain on it. The jetted tub had hairs in it and around the top before we even used it. You can only use the tub 15 minutes on a timer until you have to get out and reset it for another 15 minutes. There were several bugs in the bathroom . No hand soap for your hands on sink and you would think I during a pandemic there would be enough? They only had a body bar , a shower cap, and lotion for us. Our cable was not in service for the first night so could only watch the news. The positives; nice location, the pool area looked beautiful however we didn t use it during our stay. I loved the little tea/coffee bar in the lobby and kcup machine in the room! Check in was very easy and quick and we were able to check in around 10:00pm. Good areas in the neighborhood for a quick bite or coffee.

A for effort, C for execution. The staff is extraordinarily friendly and helpful. However they appear to be working with very little in the way of resources. The rooms are dated but fairly clean. I feel that the price I paid was way too high for the room I received, and next time will stay farther from where I would like to be for a more reasonable rate. The breakfast staff was attentive, but the hot breakfast items minimal and repetitive. I also criticize the decision to shut off the water to the building without notice to guests in order to make a repair in one room. All that said I go back to my original statement that the staff was very friendly and definitely trying their best.

This place is surprisingly nice. I didnt know what to expect. There were a few odd smells here and there but we loved the jacuzzi tub and the pool made us almost feel like we were somewhere tropical. The breakfast was also delicious as is somehow always true with a free hotel breakfast.

mishap after mishap. First our rooms (that we booked and confirmed over a week ago) were unavailable, then we found there was no elevator (with three young kiddos and all of their things..this was annoying), then we had to walk though some mystery wetness (soaking wet carpet) on the way to our room. The entire place smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke, the room was super small and dark, the pool was cold and the hot tub was broken. The breakfast buffet was disappointing to say the least All in all we had a miserable nights say and we decided to check out early. I will say the staff was nice.

It wasn t terrible but you get what you pay for. Booking was easy and when checking in, the front desk clerk was incredibly helpful and nice. The hotel is pretty quiet minus the middle of the night banging on my door. Kids playing pranks maybe. Room was okay. Bathroom was not the cleanest and it had no ventilation which is a code violation. Also, if you are someone who cares about your health and wearing masks this is not the place for you. Most staff were not wearing masks or wearing them in a way that they are essentially useless. If it doesn t bother you then go for it. To each their own. Location is good. Plenty of places within walking distance and at most a couple minutes driving. I personally will not stay there again.

Not a fan of the blood on the toilet seat, missing lightbulbs, open bathroom fan, dirty tub and wrappers on the floor. No comforter on the beds in 8 degree weather in Albany, NY? Yuck. I remember when Best Western was actually a quality hotel. For reference, Ive happily lived off grid without running water and other amenities. If I pay for a hotel, it shouldnt be dirty like this.

We stayed many time was wonderful every time. A disgruntled, rude ,chamberlain, made it uncomfortable, very extremely upset. We washed the tub ourselves was disgusting, the bed was half off mattress. We do appreciate the lady who kept apologizing. Was not her fault they had 2 maids on 2 in which were fighting her and arguing with her in front of us about getting a room cleaned. The one lady interrupted me as I was talking and said shes talking to the lady at d3sk and were just gonna have to take a room thats not jetted. We booked a jetted tub room. She refused to clean it walked away. This is why we give it a 1. Has nothing to do with the property or other staff. Just the one bad apple that made it look bad for the rest.

Krissy at the front desk was VERY Helpful and professional! The hotel is overall clean and peace and quiet as well as nice parking and pool area nice affordable rates and balcony with decent view hotel gets 4 stars Krissy gets 5! Ps Jim the general Manager is a good guy

Housekeepers are very friendly and see to your needs. Always greet you with a friendly smile. Rooms are thoroughly clean and comfy. Great continental breakfast. Front desk staff are excellent .And even the GM is totally cool. Everyone has an awesome sense of humor. Always full of smiles for quests.

Soooo tonight , at 12 at night my husband was caught cheating on me .. so I went to the best western too try and get a room for the night with my daughter who s 8 years old . Soaking wet from the rain .. the woman who is the hotel clerk who is ALSO sleeping with my husband d . Denied me the room and made me and my daughter leave the hotel in the pooring rain ! The night is April 7th 2022 . Not sure who her name is . But this is poor service . After taking 15 mins to coming to the front to even speak and help me . I m filing multiple complaints

The back rooms are loud due to the highway. A bunch of bugs in the bathroom. But this is my favorite little quick/ cheap get away spot. Love the rooms with the jacuzzi tubs!! Perfect after a long day at work!!

Mediocre cleaning job. There were items left in the fridge and soap was left in the restroom. This is especially concerning considering the pandemic environment we are in and not sure how clean everything else was. Hallways smelled of moisture in the evening as well.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rlean. The only issue I had was the toilet seat was very loose. It should have been replaced but since I was only staying 1 night I just kept the room. The toilet also took about 3-4 minutes to flush which was extremely frustrating. Otherwise the hotel was pretty good especially considering the price.

Not very clean. I wouldn t stay here if you re worried about COVID. They also definitely do not enforce any kind of mask policy. Only about half of the people we saw by the front desk had masks on.

Based on the price and previous experience with hotels I didnt expect much. With that said, I was quite surprised. On arrival, the front office manager checked us in quickly and friendly. You can tell its an older hotel, but its not so run down its unpleasant. No elevators but the stairs arent bad. The pool is seen by the office. Although currently closed, it looked nice. Theres a hot tub and it looked like a kiddie pool as well as the regular pool, up to 8 ft deep. Our room is triple the size I expected. The bed was great for us, but we dont care for soft beds. The whirlpool tub was huge! For what we paid, I was very surprised and happy about the clean room. Staff was very accommodating and knew the area well for suggestions too.

Fair location. Reasonably clean. Very cute pool area (closed for COVID-19 unfortunately). We had a really nice jetted tub in our room that added a lot to our stay. Nothing super special, but decent for the price.

Front desk was more than helpful and very nice and welcoming. Pool wasnt open due to covid but pur stay was still very nice. Balcony room was great since there isnt may anymore.

Wow, just wow! Im a respectful person and treat others as I would want to be treated. If you show respect at this place they will treat you like royalty! Greeted by housekeeping when youre walking down the halls, maintenance men asking how your stay is and if you need anything, Managers greeting you and asking how youre doing (Finance Manager)! I have never been so cared for by complete strangers. Jasmine at the front desk made me feel like family as well with the way she treats you like a human and not just a room number. I was here for 3 weeks with work and I would recommend this place to everyone. There are restrictions due to covid but that is to be expected. The grab n go brown bags are an extra thank you but I will be happy when traditional continental breakfast makes its return.

Clean rooms, comfortable bed. If you are looking for a decent free breakfast, not happening. You have to ask for a paper bag filled with water, a tiny bagel and a fruit bar

When my girlfriend and I checked into the hotel right away we smelled Marijuana. Not the proper thing to have happen in a business. Secondly we requested a queen size bed. We received a full size. When I approached the front desk about it , the front desk said there was nothing she could do about that and the computer says you have a queen. I have a queen and this is by no means a queen. Last I knew the CUSTOMER WAS ALWAYS RIGHT ! VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Breakfast consisted of cereal or a bob evans breakfast sandwich We stayed 3 days and constantly didn t have hot water and the entire time we were there the entire hotel smelled like pot when we complained about not having hot water and the guy said nobody does right now and there s nothing he can do about it so after paying extra or a tub room we were told best they could do is 15% off 2 of our 3 days so not only are we paying for a night in the tub room full price we can t take even remotely warm showers wouldn t come back I advise others do the same

Decent sized room for the price. Paid extra for the whirlpool room, had zero hot water the entire stay. The water wasn t even warm enough to shower with and nothing was done to fix it. Won t be staying again.

The stay and room was nice but our water for the hot tub in our room didnt get hot. But they did get us 10% back because of the issue. I would stay again

While I was trying to figure out how to get to the homeless shelter, since I gave best western all of my money to stay with them while figuring out a place to stay and ran out of money until my next direct deposit the following evening, the staff continued to instigate me and rile me up. I was planning on coming back the next day to spend my entire pandemic unemployment check. I get met with this is a business were not giving things away. I want to pay them all of my money so I dont have to go outside I even applied to work here after overhearing a job interview being scheduled. I mind my business and stay in my room making phone calls trying to figure out where to go Cops come. They wont bring me to a homeless shelter either. Its a great time and place to be transgender. Dont let the owners response misguide you. They gave me 1 discount 1 time. And it was a discount to match the price of a priceline stay, and was all but $0.77 I had. I would not have asked if you werent treating me nicely building up to this event which is why I was blown away. I never asked you for much and I was a great guest, and would have been back with more money for you while I was figuring out how to get to a shelter in the coming days. In fact Ill have you know that due to the kindness of others Im currently in the Hilton right buy you which is much nicer marginally more expensive with a pool thats usable and not decoration. Im here for about a week. YOU could have had that money in your business if it werent for your stubbornness and if you could show a little compassion. If youre going to offer someone a night out in the cold, dont call the police on them when they apply to work for you and try find where to go next. I was not there past my stay. I was granted a checkout of 1:00. Police were called at 12:30. Dont try to make me look like the instigator here.

If you start running low on money. She will call the state troopers and say you threatened her. I have paypal. I had money. I had emails confirming the money then added money. Email confirmed that. Nope you need to leave. Not a chill spot.shes a liar and will get you in trouble. Make you walk the main highway with your stuff. She like a to see people hurt.

This Best Western in particular has the nicest staff members assisting your needs. The hotel has outdated decor which could be a turn off for some folks. If you can get past the hotel decore the overall experience is well worth the price. Its a clean environment, the staff is professional, accommodating and caring, the breakfast has a variety of delicious options to choose from, the pool area is clean and well maintained and the room is a decent size with a comfortable bed. We had an issue with the toilet and the manager came down immediately and tended to the problem.

We are on a cross country road trip and stopped here for a quick overnight stay. We were very pleased! Peggy at the front desk was so kind and helpful. Room was clean and breakfast was good. This is not a fancy hotel but we had everything we needed. I wish we could find another place like this on our next stop! Great rates too!

Best Western never disappoint me, Peggy was extremely nice in my stay for the night. It was around 7 when we were in a rush of finding a hotel, everyone was so rude but Peggy was not. Peggy helped us with everything, making us worry free, and felt welcomed. PEGGY YOU ARE AWESOME!!!

Eggs, bacon, sausage, bagels, donuts, the usual. you can at healthy or not. Outback Steakhouse close. Other restaurants and gas close by. Good location.

Very nice hotel

We stayed last night at room 141. The room was clean and breakfast was good. The walls between the rooms are too flimsy so much so that when the kids on my adjacent room was bouncing on their bed, my bed was shaking as the wall was visibly shaking. Didnt get much sleep as I could hear every conversation and shouts of the kids next-door. My husband woke up with a cluster of red things on his cheek near his jawline, They looked like bug bites. Wondering if the beds have bedbugs. Management must take notice of this.

6 Night stay during Thanksgiving Week..... Everyone I dealt with here was awesome ! I felt very appreciated by these BW employees. Room was always cleaned to my specifications, and was very comfortable. Beds were comfortable, restroom was clean and useable ( Shower head could use an upgrade, pressure and the desired temperature was good but felt the stream coming out was lacking). Rooms itself was a decent size, didnt felt cramped at all. Will be staying at this location again!! Keep up the good the work I cannot express my complete gratitude towards the Employees here, from the front desk too the maids were fantastic, kind and friendly. Definitely got my moneys worth and felt they appreciated where I choose too stay with them.

We had a blast staying here for New Years. The price was reasonable for the size of the room. The pool was spacious... the hot tub needs a good cleanse/scrub. Parking was free and close to our room. They also serve free breakfast in the morning! We will definitely be coming back :)

Old and in need of restoration. Semi clean, there was long hair in the tub. Bed was clean. Windows were dirty in need of cleaning in the room. The whole place was pretty empty, maybe 3 or 4 cars out in the lot. Im sure with all the new hotels in Clifton park, not many people staying here.

Was looking for a nice pool area and this was it! Also its a 30 second walk to iHop so that was great too!

Had a nice relaxing quiet weekend with my girlfriend in a king bed room with spa tub. The tub was very big, bigger then expected, the jets were very nice and relaxing. The bed was comfortable, easy access to parking lot with sliding glass door on first floor. Hotel employees were very helpful and nice. They looked for extra things they could give deals with such as taking the room money up front instead of checkout so we didnt have to worry about any extra fees! I really enjoyed my stay and plan on returning again!

Best Western Clifton Park was very nice. All staff we encountered were very polite and helpful. The room was clean and stocked. And the continental breakfast was hot, fresh and delish. My only complaint would be that both ice machines on the second floor were not working. But the little walk down stairs did not hurt. Lol Great place, I would definitely stay again if the need arises and would recommend BWCP to every one.
