Jiffy Lube employees were great. I got there at 5pm for an inspection (and they close at 6). It took that hour but there were a few cars in front of me. The woman who check me in was terrific! She found my lug nut key (that I didn’t know I had) and returned it back to its place and let me know. Very professional!
Not the worst, good in a pinch. Negatives. 1 Long wait, took like 2 hours. 2, they didn't secure the plastic cover under my car when they did the oil change properly so had to secure it the right way later.
I brought my 2024 Tesla at 3:00 p.m. for a New York State inspection. I had been driving around for 6 hours trying to find someone to inspect it. Despite the law in New York state that if you are a state inspection station you have to do it nobody would. Jiffy lube Clifton Park took me in. Not only that, but the manager said "he has nowhere else to go." I 100% recommend this location.
Never comming back. Pretty sure i got lied to with my window wipers "not passing" the inspection... when they were nearly brand new. Unfortunately i didn't think anything of it but then today I researched it and they would not pass if they were worn/ ripped/ not wiping away water which again were literally working fine as if they were brand new. So I will not be going back. I'm tired of people lieing just to get more money out of people...period!
Great experience. I went to both valvoline ‘s in town both couldn’t do it cause of no one certified or short staffed to do so. Jiffy lube was great! Hr and a half wait and allowed me to leave my car there and notified me when it was ready. They took great care of me and will go back in the future
They weren't authorized to put universal coolant in my coolant system and they can't read a minimum and maximum line clearly marked on my overflow tank but they decided to put coolant in and I'm going to get a lawyer involved as they overfilled the system and now I have to pay to have it flushed completely out and the proper fluid put in to it. G12 is G12 not a knock off from China. Besides the Chinese aspect, if you wonder why your water pump and gasket fail, it's because of these companies quote attempting to sell you things you don't need replaced such as buttery smooth break rotors and a electronic emergency brake that functions fine that they had no idea how to operate but failed you for inspection because they don't know their way out of a paper bag
Will never come here again. Was here for inspection on 2/7/2025. Need 1 wiper $29. Either you pay or fails. Here is the thing. Northeast Acura performed the inspection 1 week prior. They couldn't place sticker because machine was down. Everything passed. Unbelievable.
They should change the name from Jiffy Lube to something that implys a slower experience. In a three lane garage, only two lanes were operating, thus the cars were lined up awaiting to get in. Once in, it only took 15 minutes to change my oil, but the tire pressure wasn't checked and a few other things were omited. The biggest surprise was at the check out counter. The lady is very nice, but the price was horrendious. $72.00 for a simple oil change, I'll be looking for a differant place to do business with.
I went to Jiffy Lube for an inspection. There was a long line, so I ended up waiting in my car for quite a while before it was brought into the bay. However, once they started working on it, they finished quickly. Overall, it took about an hour and 40 minutes, which I expected given how busy they were.

No check engine light but failed inspection for EVAP leak. Told to drive it around till light comes on and come back . It was never on in the first place. Went to Midas and no failures came up, no check engine light, inspection completed next day. Only explanation is Jiffy started the car after removing air filter, trying to sell me something I didn t need and reset the monitors to they wouldn t read. Never again. Amateurs. And a long wait to boot. forgot the free wash cause the manager was too busy mansplaining why it won t pass
I waited 45 minutes in line I was directed to for just oil change. I watched 4 cars who arrived after me go ahead of me due to my directed lane change. I went to the attendant who told me to change lanes and was told sorry, we are short staffed and only 2 bays currently running. Evidently the lane I went to was not manned. She told me I can go around and get in another line- Really???

State inspections had to wait over one hour in line with cars waiting for oil change. Not a Jiffy inspection.
Took my car for an inspection the inspection failed for parking brake adjustment and emissions codes. The technician also failed me for front brakes. I asked him to show me and he expanded that the rotors were bad and brake pads needed to replaced. He did not want to remove the front tires to show me. I took my vehicle back to my mechanic and he inspected the front brakes and he showed me that there was nothing wrong with the pads or rotors. I agree that my emissions failed but to have the technician tell my front brakes were bad when they were not was not good business practice.

Last week I brought my car in for inspection and it didnt pass because it had the back light broken and as you can see in the photo I fixed it and anyway it didnt pass inspection and the car didnt have the check engine light on and now if its on I wont return and I dont recommend it to anyone

Literally sat in line for over an hr for an oil change. I was the 2nd car!! Why have 15 minute or less oil changes if you know each car is going to an hr, according to what the guy said to me??? Isn t that false advertisement!? I spent my entire lunch break waiting. I told them to move the car behind me and I m leaving! I will not be going back. No to mention there was a guy just walking back and forth doing absolutely nothing.. terrible.

Waited over an hour to have inspection. Only had 4 people to work 3 bays and manage the front desk. The staff present were working hard but unfortunately they need more help .

Don t get services other than oil changes here! They did a coolant flush on my car and ended up clogging my heater core and blamed it on my car opposed to taking full accountability. When I went to get them to pay for the repair they told me to lawyer up! They don t do any services they way they should be done (speaking as a mechanic that watched all procedures being done). They will ruin your car opposed to help it.

Beware!!! They do not specify anywhere on their site that they only do state inspections in the morning. I went at 12pm on a Sunday and was told they can t do it and only do them at 8am. This would be okay if they stated this on their website. No where does it claim they cannot do inspection after the morning. Very bizarre and inconvenient

I went for an oil change. Mind you my car is not in the best shape and I know it trying to make it last. The tech drives my car into the bay and I watch all the techs walk around my car pointing and laughing. They then come to get me to inform me of the issues and try to embarrass me in front of everyone. This place is the most unprofessional establishment I ever did business with
I brought my 2018 Wrangler in for an inspection on 04Feb25. These guys went above and beyond what was expected. I ll never go anywhere else again.
Three strikes and youre out Jiffy Lube! This place is seriously going downhill and I will no longer be returning. The manager there is not good. Visit #1: Needed a NYS inspection a year or so ago. All was good except a wiper blade had a crack in it and needed to be replaced in order to pass inspection. Fine, no problem. Only thing is I witnessed 2 other people before me getting inspections while I was there with the same problem. Seems like the shady manager was trying to upsell some wiper blades that day. Strike #1. Visit #2: Go for an oil change. Same shady manager (younger guy with a beard) drives my car into the service bay. I watch as they begin taking the wheels off my car. Last I knew, an oil change didnt require wheels being taken off. When I asked what was going on the manager told me he felt my steering wheel was loose when driving into the bay. Not sure how you can feel this when driving straight ahead 15 feet, but okay? Said the tie rod was broken and if i was getting an inspection it would have failed. Again, all Im going in for is an oil change. Then, when called to go over what type of oil I wanted and what filters should be changed I was informed they were out of conventional oil. How is an oil change place out of conventional oil? I was left no choice but to pay for the much more expensive synthetic oil. Also, because I wasnt paying for them to replace a super overcharged cabin air filter and/or engine filter, the manager tacked on a $8.99 shop fee! Get home and the next few days I notice oil spots on my driveway. Check underneath and they didnt fully tighten the oil screw! Strike #2. Visit #3 (most recent): Same shady manager is there yet again, lucky me! Going in for an oil change. Get called up to go over oil choices and yet again am told that filters need to be changed. I said I can do myself and the manager looks at me and rudely says you know there are 10 screws to take this out right? I said yes. He then told me they were out of conventional oil again!!! Second visit where they didnt have conventional oil at an oil change place and I would have to settle for the much more expensive synthetic. He quickly rushed through the rest of the process and tacked on the $8.99 shop fee right in front of me. Almost like a boo hoo screw you you didnt buy my overpriced filters. I saw him throw the cabin air filter back in my glove compartment box. When I paid and went out to my car the glove compartment box was still open, they hadnt put anything away and everything was all over the floor and even under the passenger seat! I have pictures to show the mess. Long story short, I really recommend against people patronizing this business. Is it convenient? Absolutely! But with untrustworthy staff working on my/your car who knows what is actually being done. Go to Valvoline where they actually show you the oil filter being changed, the oil being put in, and the dipstick reading.
I went to get my car inspected it was 2:30 in the afternoon noon and was told the manager told the girl to turn cars away because they where busy I counted the cars now I know some are their for oil but their was maybe 10 cars all bays open an I also found out the manager has done this 2 other times sence I was their I never had a problem before

Just went to jiffy lube for a oil change and the tec broght my caben and air filter in and told me there is a bunch of stuff in you cabin air filter that you are breathing and told me he would clean it also my tranmission oil needed to be changed so I said go ahead and change it but I tell you he went above and be on he toke my fan out and cleaned and sprayed air fresher thank you some much they do a great job there

Needed to get my car inspected. Once my car is in the bay Im told: 1. Filters are dirty...Im not surprised. 2. I have no oil in my engine. 3. I have nothing in my radiator. My car has showed no signs of overheating or issues with the engine running....ever. Ive run a car on no oil, I know what happens and nothing in the radiator...should be overheating...a lot. So I ask howy car isnt overheating if its empty and I get some weird answer about the reserve tank is empty and that needs coolant to lubricant the water pump or some odd answer. So my radiator and engine are both empty of fluids...so Im now trapped here. I know I needed a oil change but Ive never seen oil just disappeared from an engine. But here we are. So Im aware Im being taken advantage of. I get oil and the inspection, radiator taken care of and filters. Mind you the main filter is $50. And Im not the only one charged this. But the guy is doing me a favor and dropping the price. Again its a con job. They have structured prices for labor and parts, especially at a chain. Clearly there is something going on here. Read through the reviews of people suddenly having issues and being delayed by all the services by needed by customers in front of them. Its a racket. Plain and simple.

Trying to get an inspection but they have all the cars going to one bay. Been sitting in line over an hour as the other two bays are basically empty. Whoever came up with this process is crazy. This will be my last trip to this Jiffy Lube. I ve been a loyal customer since they opened but this is ridiculous. Service has been going down hill lately.

I recently had an oil change at jiffy lube in Clifton park, unfortunately there was a malfunction with my new old housing so most(if not all) of my new oil leaked out. I went back today and I was immediately expedited to the front of the line by Javel, he made sure I was the next car in a bay. He showed me the issue and quickly started to work on fixing it, Javel, Scott and another gentleman who s name I didn t catch ( beard and small man bun) showed me great customer service and got me back on the road. I will definitely be recommending jiffy lube at Clifton park to my friends and family. Thank you!

My wife was charged over $ 300.00 for an oil change, filter and top off of transmission fluid. They never have to worry about ever seeing us again.
Brought my vehicle in for an inspection. No check engine light and no pending codes. Not that pending codes should matter. It failed for a check engine light and the representative said their system actives history codes. Which are things that were previously fixed. Ive never heard of a place so brazen to say their system activates history codes.
My go-to for oil changes and state inspections. If you need a new filter or light bulb, they will use a new part that you bring in.
2 hours and still waiting for my oil change. They should just call it lube. Update since my last not-very-jiffy lube oil change. I wish I could subtract stars but I m already at the minimum. I got tired of waiting 3 hours every time I wanted an oil change so I went somewhere else. After getting the oil change done, they inspect the other maintenance items including the cabin air filter. It turns out, the cabin air filter never got put back in my car. Now I know that jiffyvlube always checks the cabin air filter because they re always asking me to spend $50 to replace it. I don t remember whether I paid jiffy line to put a new one in or I just told them to leave the old one in and I d take care of it, but they did neither. They threw out the old one and left it without a filter so I ve been driving around without the filter for 6000 miles. Thanks jiffy lube, you messed up the easiest maintenance item in my car.

Went to Jiffy Lube for an annual inspection and after a long wait, I was informed that my coolant was low (false) and my engine air filter was removed without my consent. During the removal or installation two fasteners were broken, and I wasn t informed about the issue, when questioned, the technician said that it was already like that which is also false. I changed that filter out one year ago, and it was checked in May when I changed my oil, and I would have noticed if it was broken. Wanna get lied to and falsely upsold? Go to Hoffman s Jiffy Lube in Clifton Park/Halfmoon. Very disappointed

I LL NEVER RETURN! After many year! Very poor service with new manager/owner in Clifton Park! He is quick to anger, rude and unprofessional. He argued with me that my car ALWAYS beeped repeatedly when doors opened rather than recognize his workers accidentally moved light dial from auto to on. He was oblivious yet argued he was right! He refused to even listen. FIND A PERSON WHO CARES about customer service!

I have a one year old cat. Came in for my one year inspection. For an hour I was pushed to upgrade on so many services that were not needed I left w my inspection and realized that they were so worried about the upgrades that they took out my air filter and never put it back into the car . I had to then drive back to get my air filter.

Went today for an oil change with one car being worked on 1 in front of me. The other 2 lanes had 2 cars. The other 2 lanes moved along quickly with several cars coming in after me and leaving. When I went to pay I said just some customer feedback when a car is needing more work you should move the car behind it ino a lane that is moving along. I explained how cars came in and left after my arrival. Nick the store manager says I have worked here for 10 years and getting to become angry at my simple suggestion. After his outburst I stated its a choice to come here and one I will not make again. His response thats fine. Well that is fine as a customer I have many other places in the area to take my vehicle. My suggestion Nick needs customer service training. No need to contact me.
When in for a oil change, for the regular 3000 mile one, I had to pay 73 $ for my truck, a bit to much for my taste, I dont think I will be back there again

Jiffy Lube is a first come, first serve (no reservation) run business, which is awesome for people who are in urgent need of getting an annual inspection. I called other companies and they informed me that their appointments were booked out for about a week. I waited 40 minutes the first day and an hour and a half the second day. You have to stay in your vehicle with the engine turned off while waiting in line (and turn the car back on to move along with traffic). It was a long wait, yes, but it was fine with the windows down and phone usage. The staff checked in on me regularly and thanked me for my patience, which was nice of them. Everyone was really friendly and when it was my turn, they asked me to wait in the waiting room while they completed the inspection. The inspection took maybe 10 to 15 minutes. Easy, breezy. I gave 5 stars because the staff really are just very kind and thoughtful people.

Staff forgot to replace the clips on the undercarriage shield after my oil change and caused damage to shield from dragging on the ground. I dont have the clips, and not sure they will even fit now due to the damage. Was late to work because I had to return home to climb under my car and duck tape it. Very disappointed.
Showed up before they opened, waited over 2 hours to get my car inspected. They failed me for something with my parking brake, when I took it to another garage they said there was nothing wrong with it. Tried to upsell me 5 ways to Tuesday on every little thing, sadly they got me for 60$ for a 10$ cabin filter. I certainly wont be back, and highly recommend others also avoid them at all cost Update: upon refusing any other service, my car was packed up and when I pulled out my tire light went on. I made it to the nearest gas station and my tpms sensor was 75% unscrewed, this doesnt happen on accident. Very unsafe business practice to be so vindictive

This was not my best experience with Jiffy Lube. The wait was over two hours for an oil change. I was sick and just wanted a quick oil change. This did not happen. However, there was a bright light whose name is Javel Grant. He was kind , caring , and helpful. He understood I was sick and tried to move the process along as much as he could. I don t know if I will return to Jiffy Lube. But all employees could learn how to treat customers from Javel. He gets 5 stars!
I waited in line for almost two hours for an oil change, which then took 45 minutes to complete. During this time, I noticed employees standing around socializing instead of assisting customers. When I finally went to pay, I had to stand at the desk for five minutes, watching the service staff through the window, before someone came to help me. The report they provided was inaccurate; they claimed to have checked my tire pressure and other details, but when I checked with a digital gauge, each tire had a different pressure. It seemed they simply checked off items on their list without actually performing the tasks, as I watched them work on my vehicle and didnt see them thoroughly inspect the things they reported. Additionally, the check-in staff lacked knowledge about the business. I was told my vehicle would be covered for 5.3 quarts of oil, but when it was time to pay, I was charged for an extra 0.3 quarts because the coverage was only for 5 quarts. They then gave me a free car wash, as if that would make everything right. This place is a horrible place to do business.

While there to get an oil change and annual inspection, I witnessed an interaction with an incredibly rude customer and staff handled it beautifully. The manager stepped in to take over for an employee that was being rudely spoken to, neither employee escalated the situation, and they simply gave the person what they needed and remained professional and polite. The entire waiting room agreed that it was a ridiculous way to behave, and that the staff was amazing! So impressed by the customer service and highly recommend.

Price gouging at its worst! Couldnt wait to overcharge me for everything from expensive oil to $16.00 ×2 license plate bulbs if the cops cant see my back license plate in the dark that sounds like they have a headlight problem! Way to dip deep into my senior citizen pocketbook!

I brought my 2023 Tesla In for an Inspection befor the car was even brought into the bay the guy almost ripped my handle off my door (you can watch your video footage) i will be haveing tesla inspect it for any damage the guy calls me to the car and says you need to open your car I walk to the car open the door (they had the key so wasnt like I didnt leave them the key and it was locked) he just walked away from me didnt say anything he seemed mad he couldnt get it open I was told the car faild inspection because brake rotor had been gouged. I inspected the tires,breaks and the under carriage of the car before it was dropped off and also made it very clear that they need to use pucks when lifting my car due to the battery the rotors where perfectly fine during my inspection (the car has regenerative breaking so the breaks are hardly ever used) when I walk out to look at my car my passager side rotor had 2 gouges on it. They called me to the counter have me pay and the guy comes out of the shop and goes by the way your tesla failed inspection and laughed he said you will have to bring it back when you get it fixed and walked away now I know nothing was wrong with my car when I brought it in and if you watch the footage of the bay you will see he spent an unessary amount of time by my wheel were the damage was.(You can watch the live cameras of your car from the app witch I was doing) I find it funny that the person who picked there car up while I was in the waiting room also faild because of there breaks and guess what the damage to there breaks wasnt there when they brought there car in normally I would just take this as a customer being upset there car didnt pass inspection but then this happen to me Now when I went to pay for my car I was talking to the associate at the counter (who was a very nice guy) about how a new electric car with regenerative breaking can fail inspection since the breaks normally last 80k miles and he just got real quiet when I asked if they did something to my car and he said thats my new store manager that touched your car after I paid he then asked me 5 times if I wanted the managers name in a way that made me think that he is intentionally doing something to peoples cars I said no man dont worry about it and left because I didnt want the associate to get introuble by the new store manager for exposing what he is doing. I will be sending a complaint to the BBB and I will also be calling a attorney for small claims court. I am not going to let a store make me pay for a $400 repair job because they are intentionally damaging vehicles so people will have to bring there car back and they can try to upsell them on services You probably should of hired New Store Manager with integrity and that dose not damage customers cars to benefit himself. When you have employees pretty much begging you to take there name and do something thats a problem.
Was at service counter for 10 minutes before I was greeted- looking to see how long it would be for a NYS inspection. Then, in my car for WAY too long before someone actually took it. Not how I wanted to spend 2.5 hours of my afternoon.
I had an inspection done today and all was fine. The way they operate you really want to bring a vehicle that is ready to pass. If you have a vehicle that needs repair they don t do major repairs here. It works fine for me because I usually catch problems before I take it in for inspection.

Can not do Tesla or electric vehicle inspections as their lifting system is not compatible with the mfg lifting requirements. Disappointing as I have always had good service here with my other cars

Horrible experience! My husband brought our car here and they took out the air filters and NEVER replaced them! Horrible for our car. Sketchy practices here. Would not recommend.
