Tint stars guys were great to work with and very polite . They took the time to go over the process with me . The did an excellent job on my truck . This is the 2nd truck I have brang there . I would highly recommend them and they can get you in fairly quick . I wouldn’t use anyone else .
I've had 5 cars done at the C.P. location from full car tint to just front sides & even a sun strip on one, over the course of time. Not one bad experience. Staff very friendly & knowledgeable. Installs done in a timely manner. Waiting area upstairs. Right off Exit-10.

Coming from Georgia, I had the peal deal on my SUV so it would pass N.Y. State inspection. When they put the tint back on the first time the driver side tint was crooked when the window was rolled down it showed and the front corner windows were bubbling. I brought it back for replacing and was told that 3 of the 4 windows were replaced. The driver's side, both windows and the passenger triangle window.I then bought it back because the front small triangle windows had a "border" around them of where the tint is not covering the windows. They then told me only the driver's side triangle window was replaced. There is still a border and a few times I have been asked where I got it tinted and I had to be honest and tell them where so they have decided to take their vehicles elsewhere because of the not so great job that was done when replacing the tint on my vehicle.
Had a minor problem with my Sunstrip Tint sticking on my windshield of my Tacoma. I contacted the company and told them what was wrong. They scheduled me as soon as they could according to my schedule availability.They people working at the Clifton Park Location are very nice and friendly and they are truly there to help you with whatever you need! Great Customer Service!
Amazing work done by tint star in Clifton park, NY. I went in for a 9am appt on a Saturday, their opening time, and they were ready to go and got started immediately. Finished on time, flawless results and we’re all extremely friendly. Would absolutely go through them again no doubt, 5 stars for sure
This is the 3rd vehicle I have had done by tint star. Very satisfied with the quality of work. They make sure to protect and clean all areas of the vehicle where work is performed. Appointment was quick and easy they also included a can of window cleaner. Will definitely return!
These guys are great at what they do! I got my windows tinted here and ended up changing my mind AFTER they were done and added more tint to my front windshield which they had to take off the work they had already done to add more! Very efficient and professional and answered all of my annoying questions with patience. I will definitely be coming back to get a nice top windshield strip for the wife's car.
PROS: Fast service. Will get you in for an appointment quick! will get the tint done quick. reasonable prices. CONS: install lacks quality. each time had problems, piece of dirt stuck under film, line up for most recent install was bad. UPDATE: went back for another car, the install was perfect! was lined up perfect with the window.

Went to book appoint called first no return call the send generated text. I tried calling again and text to call no return call very unprofessional. I wanted a quote and talk to someone !! Beware of this this sketchy location

Love this company. They are more than willing to qork around your schedule, the prices are great.. everytime Ive shown up, everyone on site is friendly and knowledgeable. Ive been to both locations and its the same great service and great products. I had trouble with my back window, its at a weird angle and the replaced the tint till it was perfect. These folks are the best hands down..
I had them match the front tint to the rear tint. They got me in the day before my appointment and on that day I was told to be there by 3 o clock they had it in earlier and done before 3 o clock.
Never tinted any of my previous cars. Took two cars there. 1st car had to go back because of wrong cut on one window and bubbles on the other side. They fixed it. No problem. Fast forward 3 days later when I try and take the do not roll down window stickers off my brand new-straight from the dealership- vehicle. Those stickers/tape left a terrible film/residue virtually impossible to remove. Took me 45 minutes to get off. 2nd car, good install. No issues. My main complaint is that they appear to only have 2 shades of tint. I asked for a match to my rear windows and they didn t even test for %. Wouldn t give me the tint percentage. Said they are in the 20% . I have no idea the brand/quality of the film. Very expensive and the Clifton park shop was a mess. Razors all over the parking lot. Trash everywhere. Offensive rap music playing by the high school kids working there. With just a little professionalism and cleaner work area and better explanation of product this could easily be a higher rating.
They took care of two of my cars swiftly for an inspection and offered to put them back on for a very reasonable price. Will be back next year.

I recently purchased a Tesla model S Plaid and was nervous about choosing a tint provider, given the cost of the vehicle. Ive never owned a nice car, so naturally I was probably over-cautious. The courteous and professional staff at Tint star made my experience so pleasant. The staff were able to remove and replace my window tints on my vehicle in record time and made sure to give me detailed instructions on how to properly maintain my windows. Excellent service. The waiting room was cozy, and they were finished in less than an hour. Would have rated 5 stars, however there are some small flaws on the rear windshield.
Tint looked good. Ceramic coating was so bad I had to trade the vehicle for something else as I couldnt look at it anymore. Runs, dried wrinkles, dried prints in the ceramic. I had a feeling my vehicle was rushed to make room for the next and it had not sat under the heat lamp long enough. When I came back for my tint to be peeled and reaplied for inspection, I had shown them the ceramic coat problem. I was given an apethitic response, like mumbling uhhhhh and a sort of ignore him and hell just leave attitude. So thats exactly what I did and Ill stay that way, but the experience will be forever shared.

Best Tint Shop in the 518 I made a appointment came in and was treated with nice hospitality & they did an awesome job on my tints on my new 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee and even gave me tint glass cleaner to keep up with my tints I highly recommend everyone get your tints done at Tint Star 5 Star Shop Great experience
Made an appointment in Clifton park location 6 days prior. Showed up to find out that no one is in that location. They told me that they didn t have my appointment on there schedule, and that I would have to go to the Albany location. Very unorganized.

I had my windows tinted and it came out really great, not sure why my car smelled like baby powder when they finished, but they did a good job.
The guys did a great job on my convertible! It was in and out within an hour. I didnt roll the windows up or down for a few days, which gave adequate time for drying. Ive never had tint on my windows, I couldnt be happier!
