I hear a noise from behind my car when I enter a ditch. I went to two more services before. Master Mike was also interested. The sound was not resolved 100%, but they really spent a lot of time to detect it. They are caring and knowledgeable.

Great mechanic gets the job done right! Brought in my wifes 2009 Camry for a busted water pump, Mike quickly diagnosed the issue and cleaned up a few other minor items like an oil leak, gave a fair price, a had the job done in a couple of days, no nonsense and most importantly quality work done right. Car runs great .. thanks!

One best car services in town. I live around 45 min away from this but its always worth the time . Mike who is an amazing person will always take care of his customers. And he is always transparent about the situation and what will be the cost . I would recommend this workshop 100%

July 2023: I am continue to be impressed with this business. Mike, the owner, really takes care of his customers. My car died on the highway, I had it towed to Peters. The AAA tow truck driver knew Peters and only had good things to say about Mike. Mike and his staff did a thorough examination of the car and determined a system upgrade was most likely the cause of the problem and I needed to tow the car to the dealer. He was 100% correct in his assessment. It is RARE to find a mechanic this honest. I will always recommend them and will not take my Volvo anywhere else!!! They provide excellent work, which they stand behind. Reasonable prices, which they will negotiate on your behalf for parts. Trustworthy most importantly. Extremely impressed. Dont let how busy they are at times scare you away. They will get the job done right and will recommend other services, like dent removal, when asked. Very nice people to work with.

This is one of the last (if not the last one in the state) mechanics that is fully honest and reliable. They got my car fixed and they charge very reasonable prices. THANK YOU!

Hands down the best mechanic in the area. Just got my brakes and transmission serviced yesterday. Even with so many other cars in the lot, it was a quick 1 day fast turn around. I always trust whatever work is needed to be done, or what Mike recommends me. Reasonable prices, compared to those overly priced car dealer shop service centers. We bring all our cars here and dont regret. Would refer anyone to come to Peters Auto Shop !!!

The service was beyond excellent. Mike was so patient with me as I got confused on issues with my car. I apologize for my confusion because they go why out of the way to help.Everything he clearly explained to me. Because I got a disability, this is the best service place I have ever be to in awhile as it is hard to find real good people. I was referred and I am very grateful.

I recently had the battery to my car die on me less then 5 minutes walking distance from Peters Service Center. I decided to see if they could help me out, and well things got really expensive for me as a result. Not only was I charged $200 for a new battery, but $25 for road service. I could totally understand a $25 road service if my car was far away from the shop and I decided on top of that to not buy a replacement battery from them, but to charge this amount even when I still bought the battery from them seemed excessive. If that wasnt bad enough, a day after them changing the battery my cars check engine light turned on when I had no prior issues with it. Yeah, I will never return to this place.

I wish we had more mechanic shops like Peters auto service In CT where Im from. I came to NJ for a trip and noticed my brakes squeaking. We chose Peters because of all the other great reviews. I was very pleased with the professionalism and how fast they were able to get my car back riding safely. In the meantime I rented a car for 6 hours and they called me to pick it up with new tires, fresh oil change and new break pads. Thank you guys so much.

Im new to the area. I had no idea where to take my car to be fixed and I am SOOO happy I found this place. I refuse to go anywhere else now. So the dealership wanted $700 for a starter. No way!!! I personally didnt know any mechanics so I searched around .I saw Peters had good reviews and now I know why. Mike was the person who took care of me and gave me no BS. He cut me a little break on the price since it was my first time there. He was straight forward and honest which you rarely find with mechanics now a days .I rarely write reviews unless the service was very bad or very good. Today was very good .I found a new mechanic .

Ripped me off and car started not working again on ride back home. They told me no refund and wouldn t call me back even though they said they would.

I brought my Pickup Truck Dodge Ram 1500 the Dealer ask $850 just to diagnose the problem. Mike is really good mechanic he give me really reasonable price really honest. After he finish he told me to come back to check if everything is fine. Finally I find my mechanic and definitely I am not gonna change him. He did amazing job on my engine the car is working like brand new. I will give this guy 10 stars.

Very trustworthy and honest. Gives you updates and calls for part pricing while you re there if you d like. Takes the time to show me the problems visually and just my consolation he knows the problem. Owner calls to give updates and asks questions before starting any work with prices. Most problems I ve had he has resolved in couple days or so and not weeks like other places I ve been too. He knows his job and been going there for 4 years.
