A full service mechanic with high quality professionals providing excellent customer service. The waiting area is clean, they have tea with porcelain mugs and a hot water spigot and locally sourced honey. Two tvs to keep you entertained, and an air purifier for everyones health. All the folks working there were friendly and polite. Made the wait very pleasant. I ordered 4 new tires, had my rear brakes replaced, battery replaced, nys inspection and an oil change. Feels like a new car.

I have a 2019 Jeep Compass latitude that needed a quick inspection and an overall wellness check. I worked with Jay who was incredibly kind and professional, answering all my questions and provided a thorough overview of what my car needed. A very professional, timely, and thorough establishment to trust your vehicle with.

These guys have been looking after my car now for over two years. Ive been happy with their work every time. The car actually runs better now than it did when I was taking it to a Honda dealer for regular maintenance, yet the cost of each service visit with Nextgen is consistently less than I used to pay at Honda. Also, they provide me with a loaner car for the day at no extra cost while theyre servicing mine. I wouldnt take my car anywhere else at this point! 01.18.25 New addition: Somebody in our family (not saying who) drove a little close to the wall and smashed up the drivers side mirror of our 2017 Hyundai Tucson. Jay at NextGen sourced a replacement mirror unit (at a fraction of the cost it wouldve been from a dealer) that was the exact same color as the original. One day later he called to say it had arrived. I took the car in, waited room for not quite 20 minutes and it was completely ready. Ive been driving it for 3 days now since the replacement and everything works perfectly. These guys are awesome!

Excellent service, starter of 7 months acting sluggish and not starting immediately. Left with Nextgen & they found the same response & since starter was still under warranty they suggested they replace with a Honda starter and all was covered by the warranty. Also allowed us a loaner vehicle for the weekend until service completed! Car starts and runs like brand new thanks to the excellent service and mechanics at Nextgen! We don t trust our vehicle with any other service provider!! Thank you

1st of all, this was the only shop that actually answered their phones on black friday, Jay booked me an appointment within the week. I brought my BMW X1 in so they could remove the wheel lock and replace them with regular lug bolts and possibly replace my rear brakes. I was very clear about the wheel lock being the priority as brakes could be done at home if the wheel locks ran too long on the mechanics clock. They were very respectful of that wish, and they werent pushy about trying to do more work than necessary on the vehicle. When I came back to pick it up Jay was super helpful, clearly communicating what had to be done and why the wheel locks took longer than anticipated and he wanted to be extra sure all communications were working through their system as I had not replied to the messages about my car being ready for pick up. They are now a simple text away for basic questions (like how to reset the brake warning on the dashboard) They are happy to guide do-it-yourself types in the right direction. Highly recommend if youre looking for honest and up front mechanics to work on your car.

I had my 11 Honda Ridgeline in to have new tires put on, an oil change and an inspection. I wanted specific tires which I couldnt locate in stock in my size but they were able to find a set. Jay contacted me to share that they had also found some broken suspension parts and all brakes and rotors in need of replacement, and moisture in the brake lines. This would about double my expected bill and I was hesitant to spend all the money right now, but I told them to go ahead and do the work. After picking it up much of my hesitation went away as it drove like a new vehicle again! Little road noise, strong brakes, smooth turning and the strange shimmy when hitting bumps was gone. It drove so well I treated it to a wash and renewed my hope to get another 5 years out of it.

Hands down the best experience you can ask for! Jay got my wifes 2019 Jeep compass right in for an inspection, even with our tight schedule. 100% recommend

I needed an inspection done last minute and Jay got me in at 4:00 pm right before they closed. Service inside was great. They let me know all the components of my vehicle that need attention and even showed me photos. I didn t get anything done except the inspection but they quoted out the price to fix all the components that need attention. Highly recommend these guys.

Last week I pulled into NextGen because I happened to be driving by. My dashboard idiot light had been on indicating low tire pressure. I had checked the tires and they were fine. So I figured it was the spare tire under my vehicle. Mike Callahan came right outside and offered to check the spare tire. It was pouring rain and all the vehicle bays were full so I told Mike not to worry about it. His response was I got a jacket and proceeded to check my spare tire in the pouring rain. Sure enough it was low in pressure and Mike took care of it and made sure that the idiot light was off. It s hard to find help like that. Rich has a great crew at NexGen. Thank you Mike.

Highly recommended!! I would like to share my experience, I was travelling from New Hampshire to Toronto. My car broke down on highway. So I towed my suv to them. Staff was very helpful at front. Mechanic had amazing knowledge about cars. They fix my car right way.

The staff at Next Gen are amazing! We take our vehicles there for routine stuff- tires, inspection, etc. But, they ve also helped us out of some sticky situations. They re professional and honest and up front about costs. I stopped in yesterday, unannounced after my fairly new car stalled out in an intersection. They came right out and hooked the computer up and let me know what was going on. It was still under warranty so I had to take it to the dealership, but they took the time to identify the issue so I could figure out what I needed to do. We re so glad to have found such a great shop.

Customer Service was great, fixed a few issues and saved me hundreds of dollars on parts and offered additional services at no extra cost. Had the car back for a few days and drives way smoother, if I have trouble or problems I am covered for a year!

Day 2 of traveling and heard a noise . We googled repairs near, this was closest to us! Paise God, because we had lost a bolt on our caliper. Jay and his staff were quick to come out to our car, locate the problem and get the jeep back for repairs. They offered a complimentary point inspection! Extremely Professional Service! They know their stuff!! Can not thank these guys enough!

Took the time to explain in common sense terms what was wrong with my car and how they were going to fix it. Never felt like I was being upsold on anything and while my car took a bit longer than originally expected, they kept me well informed and up to date on the whole process.

I made the terrible mistake of bringing my vehicle into a dealership during an emergency situation..only to discover the dealership had caused more damage to my vehicle through their absolute disregard of customer safety. The guys and gal at Nextgen were able to diagnose and resolve the issues without first having discussed the tentative solutions available. Nextgen Car Care is honestly the BEST car care provider i have ever been to. I moved to central NY 3 years ago from TX and I have struggled to find a shop that could fix my Saab 9-7x Aero properly. Goldwing parts in Syracuse recommended Nextgen and I am so grateful they did. I had an ongoing issue with one of the front wheels that no one could figure out. Nextgen did. From the repairs to communications I must say this shop far exceeded all expectations and is far better than any shop Ive been to in either TX or NY. I brought my car in for the deluxe detailing, inside and out. The cost for a detailing was more expensive than other places Ive been to, but my car also came out looking spotless, just like when I bought it brand new. These guys definitely know what theyre doing. I couldnt help but be impressed at the amount of detail - there wasnt a spot of dust or dirt in the seams of the doors, around the trunk, or anywhere on the carpeting. The dashboard and the seats had a feeling as if they had been leather treated and were brand new. When I touch the exterior paint, my fingers just slide across the surface. They did a great job buffing it to a shine. My car seems so new again that Im going to find it hard to eat anything in it for at least a month, for fear of dropping any crumbs.

My car had some major issues and needed to be fixed right away. They got me in and had it ready to go the next day. It runs perfect. I appreciate the quick turn around, curtious and professional service. I plan on returning for any further car repairs or services in the future. Thank you!

Great place to take your vehicle if you want to know exactly what is going on with it. Jason was very friendly and explained everything I should be aware of when scheduling me in. Took it there last week to get a courtesy trip inspection done, Zach was very professional and took the time to explain what they found and what they suggested should be done. They get it done fast, they get it done right. I usually prefer to do all my automotive wrenching myself, since it s difficult to find a place that knows what they re doing and doesn t make you feel bad about it. This is that place. Took my Subaru in for an inspection, turned out it needed new tires to pass. They got the whole thing plus a performance alignment done the same day, and they have a certified subaru tech. Will come back in the future for any work I can t or don t want to do myself.

I have brought my car to NEXTGEN for many years and have never had a negative experience with them. They are thorough, trustworthy, friendly and do the work they say they are going to do. They take pictures of what they do and explain in detail when I ask questions. They do not talk down to me because I am a woman; I appreciate this very much because I have experienced a lot of sexism at several car repair businesses in this area. They try to get my car done at the time I request and call to let me know if there will be a holdup. Their front desk people are very polite, friendly and professional. In short they are the best in the business and I will always bring my car there.

I had my car towed there as I was leaking coolant. I know it was the thermostat housing . They said it was the waterpump, which cost about twice as much. They quoted me for $2500.. after I told them I was going elsewhere, they tried to offer me a discount price of $1800. Hows that possible? I towed my car elsewhere. Total 4 places. It is so hard to find a good, trustworthy mechanic shop with integrity. Im looking for a good place to go for maintenance or these types of problems. I was hoping it would be here . It was not. I grew up with a mechanic. He taught me a lot about cars. He owned his shop, always busy. He was honest and had character and integrity. He never ripped off anyone. He actually did a lot of things for free. I check my fluids and carry coolant and oil in my trunk. I change my oil as needed. I have regular maintenance on my car because of him. The other shops were another nightmare.

These guys are great! Always explain exactly what is needed, without being pushy! Very accommodating on scheduling too.

I recently paid off my truck and brought it in to get it fixed up to last the next decade. I had them put new tires on, new brakes all around, rustproofing, new wheel bearings, along with an oil change and inspection. My truck is smoother and quieter now than it was when I drove it off the lot new. These guys are the best service techs in the business. Once again, Next gen Car Care came through in extraordinary fashion! Due to some miscommunication at a different vendor, I was in a position where I had to schedule service on very short notice and in a limited time frame. They worked me into their already tight schedule, and got the work done in time to meet my schedule. These people are the BEST, and the Service Advisor, Jay, is exceptional.

my husband took my car into next gen for repairs. $1000 later and my car is still having the same issue. they refused to fix it correctly, insisting it was nothing they did had another shop take a look at it and they used pulled parts from another ford and rigged them together to get my car to pass inspection. the new part that was promised and i paid for was not put into my vehicle. to say that i m disappointed is an understatement, had to file a dispute with my bank so i can have my car fixed properly. unless you personally know who is working on your car, do not trust them to touch your vehicle. they lied to us and then tried to gaslight us when we called them out.

Next Gen brings a very unique way of diagnosing your vehicle by scoring the problems that they find. They score things on what needs to be fixed immediately and what can wait. Thats great because not everyone has the time or money to fix multiple problems with their vehicles. Throughout the process they stay in touch by text. Sending you photos of what they find and the progress they are making fixing your vehicle. Rich Nimey stands behind all his work. Any problems you bring the vehicle back and they will take care of it. My current vehicle needed allot of work that required Next Gen to have the vehicle a week. I ve had service done there for a couple years and never knew there was a warranty given for parts. I only learned this after independently checking the price on a part and finding out there was a 46% markup on that part. When questioned about it the explained it s because that allows them to offer a warranty on the part yes, the warranty I don t know I m getting. No thanks, I ll be back to servicing at a dealer.

I was a faithful customer having had 4 of my cars worked on at NextGen. I bought my girlfriend a car and brought it directly to NextGen to be serviced. As I did not thoroughly know the history of the car, I tasked NextGen with giving the car a thorough inspection so that I could be confident in the vehicles roadworthiness. Little did I know... that the car would have to go back not once, but two more times to cover issues that should have been found in the initial inspection and to cover issues created by their team (after already spending about $8,000 it was finally found that the car needed new spark plugs, a tech ripped an air filter while trying to check it but never replaced it and sent the car out the door with a massive vacuum leak). After the initial inspection/service, if you can even call it that, the car was returned to me with multiple problems that were not addressed and the car was returned to NextGen the following day. After the second inspection/service, if you can even call it that, the car was returned to me with multiple problems that were not addressed in the first or second stay at NextGen. After the second stay at NextGen the car was also returned to me with the above mentioned massive vacuum leak caused by a negligent technician and an eventual check engine light for said vacuum leak, the car was then returned to NextGen the next day. Now I have the car back after the third inspection/service, if you can even call it that, and after spending a grand total of $8994.33 and I have no more confidence in this cars roadworthiness than the day I bought it and to top it off it has an airbag light on now and the car is pulling to the left, and yes yes an alignment is most definitely one of the many things I paid NextGen to perform on this car. Now the car will go to a dealer to be further inspected to see what else NextGen missed in the THREE TIMES they had the car. If I could give NextGen zero stars I would. BEWARE if you need any work other than basic tire changes and oil changes, NextGens attention to detail has greatly deteriorated over the course of my business with them and I would strongly recommend finding somewhere else to take your vehicle.

Updated review from 2018/19? I would give Rich and his team 10 stars if it were possible. I met these guys over a decade ago, but was not a customer. I had a problem with one of my vehicles that several places (including dealer where I bought it from) fix a problem that in fact was not fixed. I remembered Nextgen guys and brought it in. They solved the mystery in less than half a day. Five vehicles later and I can only recommend Nextgen. Experts, professional, fair costs and most important honest to customers. *********

Nextgen is always great to work with. While I know its a sales technique, I do appreciate them checking the car out and offering suggestions to keep it in top shape. They never pressure. Just describe.

These guys are top shelf. From excellent customer service reps to skilled automotive technicians, every aspect of my experience there exceeded expectations. The shop is clean and neat, and the owner is right there working with the tools and quarterbacking the operation. I will definitely be a return customer.

Very pleased. I drove into their shop Friday am 2/19, after having a tire punctured when I passed an accident on rt31, from a shark tooth sized chunk of the aluminum wheel from the crash. The guys in the shop were great, gave me only what I needed. I bought two new snow tires at a very reasonable price and was on my way in only a couple hours in spite of not having an appointment.
